I definitely should've stuck with the 50% sweetness which is what they advertise as "normal". I made the mistake of ordering it at 75% sweetness and it was super sweet but still soooo good. Lol Great flavors and it looked fancy with mango swirls along the inside of the cup. At the bottom, there were diced dried mango bits. I would've preferred fresh mango but this was different, still good, and a nice touch. We dont find ourselves in Suisun City often but would definitely stop in again if we're ever in the area. Customer service was top notch and friendly. The store could use a bit of sprucing up and some touch up paint but there were cool anime and video game for decor and a claw machine. My first boba visit in Suisun City last year. The whole shop was filled with anime, a claw machine, board games, toy vending machines, and a mini lounge area where you could sit and watch TV with friends. They served Filipino-inspired drinks and snacks on their menu. I tried their Tareo (Oreo and Taro smoothie) at 50% sweetness, which was dairy-free since I am lactose intolerant. I love how smooth the Tareo was, and I tasted more Oreo than taro. I also got the Midnight, a butterfly pea tea mixed with lychee tea, which was too sweet for me. The staff were cool, patient, and able to answer any question. Everything in here was clean and organized, top-notch. I also love how spacious the boba shop was. I've been wanting to try this boba spot and finally came by to give it a try. I got an Okinawa Milk Tea 50% Sweetness and Less Ice with Brown Sugar Boba. It was PERRRRFECT! Definitely made my Friday. Beyond Tea is located in a plaza near the highway in Suisun. The inside is beautifully decorated, and the space feels homely like a living room. There are board games and a TV for entertainment. Service was great--the worker was super helpful and gave me drink recommendations when I was unsure of what to get (so many yummy sounding drink options!) I got a mango flavored tea with lychee jelly and coconut torpedo shrimp with marinara sauce (not pictured). The mango tea was good--not my favorite out of the places I've gotten mango tea from, but still good. I did get it at 75% sweetness so maybe upping it to 100% would have been better. The coconut torpedo shrimp was crispy and delicious. I probably would get a different sauce instead of marinara though. Easily one of my go-to boba shops in the area! It is situated all the way inside the Marina plaza so it can be a little bit hard to find. Everyone here is really nice and welcoming. I actually like how their default sugar levels are at 50%. Their drinks have more of the tea taste which I like better when I want to get boba. Drinks I've tried: - Lychee tea with boba: this one is my default order! Great refreshing drink with the right balance between the tea flavor and lychee. Now a days though, I go for crystal boba to get more of that lychee tea taste and less of the sweetness from the boba - Wintermelon milk tea with boba: another great option. The milk does not overpower the wintermelon tea taste at all. Actually really nice flavoring - Earl grey milk tea with boba: love the very distinct tea taste and not overpowered by milk. One of my favorites to get when I want an afternoon pick-me-up, but not wanting to get coffee. I also frequent their flavored fries! The first time I went, they were out, so I tried the Hokkaido Milk Tea instead. Personally, both are delicious but if I had to choose, I'd choose the Hokkaido Milk Tea. In addition, the boba wad cooked perfectly; it wasn't over or undercooked. It had a really nice chewy texture to it. Taro Milk Tea with Boba and Mango Popping Boba: (5/5): I absolutely LOVEEE Taro Milk Teas but I'm very picky when it comes to it which makes me pretty hesitant to order. I just want to say I am super happy that I did give it a shot. It was REALLY good! I felt like 50% sweetness was a good sweetness almost a little too sweet but I do think dropping it to 25% sweetness would've been too much and I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much. I have to say when it comes to drinks, I should stick with tea. My sister ordered avocado with boba, my other sister ordered some halo halo concoction, and I ordered avocado with no boba. The halo halo was okay. But for our avocado drinks, we are not a fan. Tasted more like a powder mix drink that just tasted like overly sweet slush. Barely tasted avocado. They offer unique flavaflavs such as lavender milk tea, durian, avocado, pumpkin spice and dragon fruit. I've tried their dark roast oolong and classic milk tea, both with boba balls. The dark roast has good oolong flav and the classic milk tea taste like how it's supposed to taste...like milk tea. Boba ball consistency was good and bouncy with a splash of sweetness. I ordered some drinks for my friends and they both enjoyed their drinks as well, those being the taro and okinawa milk tea. Customer service here is definitely above and beyond..tea. I'm usually hella indecisive when a menu is extensive or there's a lot of options. The owner who took my orders both times was patient and gave good recommendations/ info on the drinks. Friendly and gracious that guy was. The prices a tad bit high, but understandable since they're a start-up boba shop. More boba places are popping up in Suisun/Fairfield, yay! This one is a mom and pop shop, the workers there are very welcoming and friendly. The location is in Marina Shopping Center, a little off of Highway 12. I ordered the wintermelon tea and the rose flavored tea for my sister. Both of the teas had roasty notes that I liked, I'm not sure what kind of tea they used. The boba is nice and chewy too, not over or undercooked. My only complaint is that their drinks are on the sweeter side. For the rose tea I got 25% sweetness and my sister said it was really sweet. I took a sip of it, I thought it was too sweet to be considered 25%. Maybe there was too much rose syrup added? So I've been wanting to try this place for a while and decided to just stop by one day. I must say I was quite disappointed as I had high hopes for this place. We ordered a two taro milk teas with boba and some popcorn chicken. Our taro milk teas tasted a little watered down and not much taro to it. The boba was decent but a little tough. The popcorn chicken was terrible. It was like a frozen popcorn chicken and some of the pieces had weird hard pieces inside. It was disgusting. Sorry. I've gone to many boba places that offered really good popcorn chicken that was actually fresh. I was thinking it was that kind but it definitely was not. I guess I just have high expectations for boba places and a lot of places in our area don't offer good milk tea nor boba. The staff was over friendly and the place seemed clean. There were a decent amount of people walking in and out which made me believe we might have just gone in on an off day. Since this place is more local, I'd like to give them another try (for milk tea that is) but not the chicken lol.
