TL;DR: Horrible customer service. Horrible drinks. Sticky tables. Dead flies. Slow service. Expect zero personality from staff. While you arrive and verbally say hi to the staff and they're putting a sticker on the cup while you're at the front of the line, expect no response while he slowly places the sticker on the cup for 20 seconds and finally, after 20 seconds, says "HiWhatCanIGetForYou?" When they make your drink way too hot and you ask for a remake, don't expect a "Sorry!" Or any acknowledgement of the error... after you receive the fixed drink, and you say "Thank you!" DO NOT - I repeat, DO NOT expect a "you're welcome" or an "Enjoy!" After you sit down and see the sticky, dirty tables, expect to need to wipe the crumbs off with a napkin. After you sit at your recently-wiped-table, expect to examine the dead flies and spilled coffee in the windowsill. Panama Bay Coffee has been on my bucket list for awhile. I was passing through on the way back to Vallejo, and made the stop for a late lunch. I really was craving a chai tea latte! I was greeted by a pleasant woman at the counter (I didn't have a wait at all) and orders a turkey, egg, cheese, sammie + small (12 oz) chai latte latte, to go. My drink was ready right away and my Sammie not too much long after that. Chai tea latte (hot; substitute w/ oat milk)- delicious!!!!!! I love the chai flavor, it was strong...which I absolutely love. It was hot for quite a bit of time. Creamy. I should have ordered a larger size! Turkey, egg, cheese sammie (on a croissant, pepperjack cheese)- I ordered my sandwich bread to be a croissant (other choices were bagel or English muffin). The croissant and entire sandwich was perfectly warm! No partof my sandwich was cold.the croissant tasted like it had butter, and it was so flaky!!!! I was happy with my sandwich overall. I met some new ladies here twice to chat and make new friends. The shop had a steady flow of customers; they all seemed to be doing takeout. We could sit at a table and I did not feel rushed or busy either time we were here. They have bakery items in addition to coffee I am not a coffee drinker. The first time I had a chai tea latte. The employee who took my order was friendly and got to work on my order. It only took about 5 minutes to receive it (which is great if you're in a hurry), but when I got to the middle it, it was cold. On a trip to Vallejo, ended up doing some work at this cafe since it was along the water front. Which i'm a sucker for because the views help with the creative process. When you park in the parking lot, you'll have to walk along the water front to get to the cafe as it is on the other side. Which lets you appreciate the stroll and fresh air before you're in the cafe surrounded by the aroma of coffee beans Out in the front they also have specials posted on their sign to let you know what's in for the month or season. I had ordered the Iced Banana Bread Latte and I was disappointed to taste no banana bread flavor in it or even a slight banana taste. Besides the fact, the latte was good and I was able to enjoy it. The ambience of the cafe is super chill, I noticed there were a lot of older people either reading, catching up with friends, and or doing work on their laptop (which is what I'm doing right now) Plus the architecture is very nice on the inside with their high ceilings and wooden accents to pieces. read more

Ya know, I'm a bit indifferent about this cafe. They always seem so busy, and they're quick with their drinks but there are certain things that affected my experience. For starters, their hours are not up to date. I've been by on days where they say they are open only to realize they're closed. I've also gotten very Luke warm drinks when they were JUST made (when ordering a hot drink). Service is a hit or miss; so much so it makes an impression that is memorable. BUT the drinks and pastries are real good. They're also conveniently located near by and I love being able to support smaller businesses instead of going to Starbucks for example. I was super excited to have an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese and an iced oat milk peach latte. The latte came out super quick which is normal, so I gave the bagel a few more minutes. 20 minutes go by and still no bagel. A few more people get in and out of line and receive both coffee and food items they purchased. I went up to the counter to ask about my bagel and the girl that helped me forgot about it! So she apologized and I gave her the benefit of the doubt and waited for her to make my bagel. A few moments go by and she informs me that they're completely out of bagels. At this point, I'm pretty disappointed so I ask for a refund. There's someone else at the counter being rung up so we have to wait. The girl presses some buttons on the pos and says, "okay, you're all set. The refund will be back into your account in a couple of days." I tell her that I paid in cash, so she refunded the wrong order. She forgot that she asked my name for the order in the beginning. I remind her that I paid in cash and that I still need a refund for the bagel and cream cheese that I paid for. She finally gave me my refund. This was my first experience with her, but she seemed a little off. Like, she wasn't all there. The cafe wasn't even busy enough for her to have forgotten everything. I don't remember her name, but she was tall and skinny with blonde hair tied up into a ponytail.
