This place is alright, many ups and downs. The smoothie was overpriced, with one being $14!!! But, I'm not disappointed about that. In order to just get WATER here, it's $2.50 per bottle, just astonishing! I got the water, and when I wanted to get an extra EMPTY cup in order to share with my friend, the lady said it was $1.50. I had the money, and she then said "oh it's actually $2.70" and i couldn't get it anymore. Kind of ridiculous that you charge an empty cup for more than $2... Also, the cashier people weren't nice but wasn't rude, just average. Pretty weird, but overall, the smoothie ended up being pretty good and the owner greeted me. He was extremely polite and kind, making the experience pleasant. The scenery was good too and the area was not so busy, so that was a plus. read more

My daughter and I finally visited this place. Her friend had told her about it and since we were driving home from Oakland, she thought to take a detour through Hercules to get an açai bowl. I got a chocolate peanut butter smoothie. I can only speak on behalf of this smoothie. It was absolutely delicious. I honestly would drink it daily if I could. The only downside which is not their fault is that I live in Pittsburg and this location is only in Hercules. I might have told one of the girls working that they needed to expand in my area so I can visit them more often. But I do plan on coming back. I will save up the location. It's very colorful, lots of little jewelry, candles and different things that you can buy. I also need to go back for the sea moss. I promise to be back soon. Came back for a dream bowl and saw the new bowl- The Al. Named after one of the amazing owners - who made my bowl today. Delicious and fresh. Haven't had much of an appetite since I had surgery but this hit the whole spot. Think Dream Bowl but bigger- with double the toppings and goodness. The Nook of Dreamz has added some new trinkets. The best açaí I've ever had--hands down! What made this visit extra special is that I first discovered this business at the 24kt Yelp Elite event, and I couldn't stop thinking about the incredible sample they shared that day. So when I finally had the chance to visit, I told my sister to get ready for a real treat--and somehow, it was even better than I remembered! Not only do they serve the most delicious açaí ever, but their menu also features a great selection of healthy food options and açaí bowls. I ordered the Dream Bowl (the same one I had at the event) because I needed to relive that experience--and it absolutely delivered. The young lady who helped me was so kind and patient as I shared my little story. When I asked if she knew the lovely owners, she smiled and said they're her parents--how sweet is that? I love how Hercules has a legit smoothie shop a 15 min walk from my house. The baristas are always super nice and welcoming with smoothie samples available at the front. Space is small but a vibe. Beautiful mural on the right wall and lots of local vendor jewelry, clothes, etc. to purchase. Vibrant yet calming colors. My favorite bowls are Dream and Nourish, which are about $15. They are made with quality ingredients and have lovely presentations. Their beverages are very vegan friendly and even saw a vegan cookie option. Drop by this gem in Hercules! I tried their large dream bowl today after seeing many photos. I was really curious about how the bowl would come out. It had many interesting flavors and textures. I particularly like the crunchy granola at the top combined with the peanut butter. I did not feel my blood sugar raise too much even though this is a sweet treat. I am looking forward to trying another bowl when the weather gets a little warmer. I think the next bowl will be their chocolate acai bowl. What a cute hidden jam here in the city of Hercules California the ambience is really cute. There's a lot of gems. There's a lot of crystals. There's a lot of candles. There's a one stop shop here. The service is amazing. Everyone is super sweet and kind and very quick to get your drinks out or your food out to you. The selection is really delicious. Dream Bowlz is quite overpriced for what it is (fresh fruit, blended fruit smoothies) but we pay for convenience, right? I got the Dream Bowl 16 oz (smaller of the two sizes) for $14. It had a base of açaí berry mix, banana, sea moss, flax seed, peanut butter, apple juice, and cashew milk, and the toppings were sliced strawberries, sliced bananas, blueberries, granola, flax seed, peanut butter, and honey. It was delicious, refreshing, and very enjoyable on a hot day. The fruit was fresh and the 16 oz size is the perfect size for a hungry individual or sharing between two people. The store is small but cute. They partner with local artists to sell various merchandise (candles, jewelry, tumblers, etc). I get a lot of mixed feelings from people about this place, but I personally love it and always crave it. I could eat their bowls everyday. I love the classic açaí dream bowl! First of all I have to say that we love their açaí bowls and their staff is always friendly. We use to come once a week until their portions started to shrink. We took a break for several months but decided to go back but this time it shrank even more. On top of that their prices had increased. I went here for the first time yesterday and absolutely loved the two acai bowls I tried! I had the Dream Bowl and Island Bloom Bowl (has an ube base- this might be seasonal). Both were absolutely delicious. They were generous with their fruit toppings and granola. I need to check if they sell the granola on its own because it was SO crunchy and sweet (but not too sweet). The acai itself tasted great. The Island Bloom bowl tasted like ice cream to me. There is limited seating but there are very cute shirts/crystals/stickers/bracelets etc to look at inside. If you're looking for refreshing smoothies, acai bowls, and tasty vegan treats (seriously you can't tell the difference in the cinnamon rolls, and it's not like I need the extra butter, anyways). Basil, my dog, had this ice cream for dogs (forgot the name & can't find the pic I took then, sorry). SERVICE Everyone is courteous, always providing good service. Vanessa demonstrates this. So I had been walking on the San Pablo Bay Regional Trail for a couple of years now, and the Exchange residential building has been a conspicuous presence as I walked by the Hercules bayfront. The proposed retail spaces on the ground level had been vacant all that time, so I was pleased to see this cafe spot open for business until 5PM most of the week. I'd consider this the proverbial toe in the water for introducing the semblance of a food scene on the Hercules waterfront. Their menu consists entirely of large, fresh açaí bowls and smoothies - five of the former and seven of the latter - all handled by a staff of three. Surprisingly (at least to me), there was a consistent flow of people coming in, so they kept busy. I decided to try the $13 Day Dream Bowl. It was a 16-ounce container with a base blend of coconut, pineapple, banana, dream moss (whatever that is), blue spirulina (thus the odd blue color), vanilla, and coconut milk. It was pretty tasty though I personally would've preferred a simpler execution. No matter as I'm glad they're here. They even have a shop for other goods like shirts, crystals, etc. The fam that owns this place are hella nice and addresses you by your first name, making the overall experience personal and friendly. One of the best acai bowls I've ever had and can't wait to go back! I was a little hesitant with the moss in all of them, but you cannot taste it. Went and met my friend for a coffee and some breakfast. I ordered the nut butter toast with honey and banana. I also had the coconut yogurt with fruit. The toast was yummy. The yogurt was light but not what I was really wanting. I had my heart set on the oatmeal but it's only served Wednesday's and Saturday's. I've had their açaí bowls in the past and they are great! This is such a great addition to Hercules. For now, it is off the beaten path. This may change when the transit center is built. I have stopped here with my walking group. Everyone was so pleased, that we are going two weeks in a row. There is limited seating both indoors and outside. It is not hard to park. The superfood bowls and smoothies are healthy and look fantastic. I had a chai espresso tea. It was so good I could drink it every day. My sweet S would have loved this spot. Hercules has a place to grab an organic smoothie. Located near the apartment. You would not expect a cafe/wellness shop being below the apartments. I tried the Third Eye Smoothie...it was out of sight! Inside Dream Bowlz is amazing. They have beads, stones, and clothes for sale! Parking is not hard to find. It is worth the walk if you have to park further. I will return! read more
