    Half French Toast
    Tara M.

This is an update from my last experience. I brought my son here for his birthday brunch and had a phenomenal experience. I ordered the Shrimp, Bacon, and Cheesy Grits and it was just layers of flavor. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, and that spice was the best I've tasted. I normally can detect specific spices and this time I couldn't. The bacon and cheesy grits were cooked perfectly. So delicious! My son ordered the catfish and waffles and enjoyed his meal. I tasted the catfish and will be ordering it on my next visit. Delicious spice mixture, incredible crunch on the outside and tender, flaky fish on the inside. The service was excellent and music was just the right compliment. Incredible vibe! I can't wait to come back!

    Bland "French toast"

Where u at Tina? R u still cooking at the back? The food quality has really gone downhill. This used to be one of our main places to eat but the food is just not the same...soggy breakfasts, nasty butter The Belgium waffle had clumps of dough when I bit into it like the flour wasn't sifted enough...the butter that was given looked more like oil and French toast was bland. No taste at all. The French toast looked like it was just toasted and put into a container to try and pass as French toast And they used to give this delicious syrup that tasted like maple butter but now they give the usual sugar syrup that most places give Sad times, I hope Tina can make a comeback soon!

This is the first time we have been to Tina's and it was excellent. The walls are painted so nice with such a great atmosphere. Our breakfast was amazing! My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs and I ordered huevos rancheros. The service was equally as excellent!Thank you. We will be back.

    Country Waffle Stack

I had the Country Waffle Stack. The thing is huge, great value. But besides the potion size, I'm till not sure how to feel about it. I liked it but didn't. Thought it would have been better unstacked. If every component of the dish kept the texture it should have, that's a 5 star dish. Concept, creativity and flavors are there, just missed on execution. As for the service, don't know how to feel about that either. She seemed really nice but service was lacking. She brought out our utensils and just left them at the end of the table, along with a glass bottle of water and a stack of cups. Most restaurants at least pour your first glass. The thing that stood out the most, was that everything was sticky. The table, condiment bottles, menu, I mean everything.

    Bottomless billini's

What a great little spot in the heart of old town Pinole! My husband and I have been in Pinole for over a year now, we drive by Tina's nearly everyday and we always say how we need to try them. Today we finally made it in! The restaurant was closing in an hour and it was a Tuesday so it wasn't busy at all, I read a lot of reviews saying how long they've had to wait to be seated or how long it took to get the wait staff's attention, or for their food to come out. We didn't have any of those problems. My husband ordered the catfish, shrimp and cheesy grits, I ordered the chicken and waffles with maple syrup and a side of hot honey. The hot honey made it. And of course we couldn't pass up their bottomless billini brunch. Perfection! Our waitress was a cutie pie and kept the billini's comin'. The restaurant was clean and comfortable and roomy, and again the food was top notch. 5 stars all around for us...

Food is good, portions are large but the service is terrible and the owner is rude. We were regulars till we got tired of the waiting.

Walking in you are met with marble flooring, tall ceilings with many chandeliers, black table clothes and gold utensils. We ordered the passion fruit French toast and the Nutella waffle. We were also given complimentary olive bread with radish butter! Service was very attentive. I really loved the Nutella waffle! It had that homemade taste and a slight crunch. You could taste how fresh the raspberries are. You can see the black flecks of real vanilla. Same with the passion fruit. You can see and taste this is a real passion fruit. It's not some jam or preserve. Of the two we enjoyed the waffle more. I think the French toast could have been improved by adding another slice of bread to help even out the proportion of bread to the delicious toppings. Very pleased with our choices and would be very happy to come back and get them again! For now the menu looks quite pared down. We were asked if we'd like the have something to drink like a mimosa (not printed on the menu yet). It'll be very exciting to see how Diosa develops.

The owner's Veronica and Jillian are such a joy to talk to about the history of the restaurant, their plans for the future and I am here for all of it. A true Farm to Table restaurant serving brunch Thursday through Sunday 10 AM to 2 PM. I was a proud, big back diner today- ordering may items on the menu. *The deviled eggs were delicious with an unexpected punch from the pickled onions; plenty of bacon for that smoky delicious flavor. *The Nutella waffle was delicious. I asked for the Nutella, strawberry, whipped cream, and nuts on the side. Next time I will get them on the waffle, they were delicious. The waffle is crispy and tastes like it is made from scratch- no box mixes in this kitchen. *The charcuterie board- I'm speechless!!! From the pomegranate seeds that went perfectly with the feta and candied almonds to the Rosette of prosciutto and a smoky sliced salami that went perfectly with the olive bread. *The olive bread- let me say it again.. THE... OLIVE... BREAD!!!!!! I need two loaves and I need a full container of the radish butter. It is just that good- full of olives, flavor, and something I can't put my finger on, but it is delicious. ~I am not normally a radish fan, but Diosa and their chef have made me a huge fan.~ * The Iris was delicious. I did add simple syrup to it. Will definitely be back to bring my daughter who loves charcuterie and all things expensive. Perhaps we will come back tomorrow....

This side of the bridge has been overdue for a solid AYCE sushi spot and Sake definitely delivers!…read moreThey have a ton of options to offer on their dinner AYCE menu, but they also have an a la carte menu if you or someone in your party may not have the appetite for an all you can eat meal. The food exceeded our expectations and was definitely way better quality than we were anticipating. All of the items on the AYCE were prepared to order; it wasn't a buffet where the food is just sitting out for people to grab. Service was friendly and prompt with requests. Overall, a great first experience. Sake is located off of Fitzgerald Drive in the same parking area as In and Out and Roundtable Pizza. (It occupies the space of the former Outback Steakhouse.) There is plenty of free parking right in front of the restaurant. There is also ample seating inside the restaurant for diners wanting to eat in. We came in on a weekday for dinner and they definitely got busy quickly. As I mentioned, service was friendly and they were very quick with requests. Of course as they got busier through the night, the servers' attention was spread across the multiple tables, however, their focus on good service did not waver. Placing the AYCE orders was dependent on the server as they inputted requests into their tablet. The process seemed efficient as we did not have any missing items and all special requests were met. The only issue we had was keeping track of what we had already ordered and were waiting for. Some of my favorite items from our dinner included the: - Seared Salmon Nigiri - Pacific Roll - Lion King - Coconut Shrimp I was also thrilled to see they offered ice cream as part of the menu. They are pre packaged in small cups. Customers can choose from chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry. We coupled this with their fried buns, and they were delicious! A great palette cleanser to end the meal! Sake made a strong first impression. We are definitely looking forward to returning again in the future to try more off of their menu.
