    Chocolate milkshake. Yum
    Anndora L.

I definitely enjoyed my burger and milkshake! The menu had lots of stuff and the waitress recommended a breakfast burger. It was HUGE! Chocolate shake was thick and pretty good. Service was okay. Ambiance was "diner decor."

The ambiance includes that classic dinner, stools, a counter, and a table and chairs: a great family spot for friends to have a meal. The staff is lovely and welcoming as if I were back home in my little farm town. I eat here if I'm with family and friends for a quick bite and a nice classic feel. (if the staff wore the old-school dinner outfits dress or bowling or Hawaiian button shirts with aprons: that be icing to already great staff). D Giant Burgers offers a standard American-style menu featuring classic comfort foods like cheeseburgers and fish and chips but offer other fare. The cheeseburger has a unique flavor, somewhere between a charbroiled and flat-top-cooked patty, though the exact cooking method is unclear. The bun is a typical supermarket-style hamburger bun, which does the job but doesn't stand out. The fries are standard-cut, lacking variations such as shoestring, crinkle, or steak fries. The fish and chips taste on par with other good fish and chips spots, but nothing about them stands out as exceptional. The food is decent but leans toward typical bar fare rather than anything memorable or gourmet. While it's a solid choice for a casual meal that I'm accustomed to, those looking for something more unique or elevated might find the flavors too generic. The restaurant delivers on expectations but doesn't necessarily exceed them. Food costs $$ -$$$, the drinks are 5 dollars , drink tap water(free) or alcohol (around the same price and up) its better for you If you tired of in-out, McDonald, want a different experience - so my cheeseburger extra cost with fries and if I bought a drink near 20 with tax ( that drink ) - As long the staff nice, that's all I want now a days. Check it out -

    Reuben. Ok.
    Lark B.

So, the food was ok. I had a Reuben my boyfriend had a burger. They were fine. The shake was good. Honestly we should have never even gotten as far as eating there. We came through the door next to the window with all the signage on it. The room was deserted. There was a closed door to the right. After standing around a couple minutes the door opened and a little blonde waitress said, "there's a *reason* this door is closed" .... I'm sorry, is this how we talk to customers? It turns out that there's two sides, including two doors. But there is a divider on the outside so if you approach from the direction we did you can't see there is another door. And cool, the side we walked in on was closed, but then maybe put a sign up to go to the next door, or maybe -- just maybe -- close the door you don't want people to use. As I said we should have just walked out when the waitress was rude. $50 I'll never get back. But they have RC Cola on tap, so if that's your thing, go there.

    Mushroom burger +jalapeño

After having skipped breakfast because we thought we were headed to a car show only to discover we had the date wrong, we decided to stop into D's Giant Burgers for brunch. Our party of 4 all ordered burgers and shared a waffle. I had the mushroom burger (add jalapeño) and it was really good. The hubby had a regular hamburger (split with his mom) and the daughter had the chili burger. The waffle came out last because they had to heat up the waffle iron (we showed up well after the breakfast crowd) but we were pleasantly surprised... perfectly crisp on the outside and most inside. Everyone enjoyed the food but we were in agreement that there wasn't anything giant about the burger. Although it was just average, it was a nice change from the norm and we would definitely go back! Love supporting local businesses!

Big portions and great prices. The staff were so nice and the only problem is that there are so many options! The place is cozy and reminds me of going to grab a burger with my grandfather when I was really young. Feels like a family spot!

Sooooo good!! This burger is hefty and hearty and made to perfection! It's been a while since a had a good burger this size. I had the western burger and the pinion ring with perfect and the bacon wasn't too crispy but not too fatty either! And with the contents and its size you'd expect a MESS. But I didn't spill out any of the insides! My coworkers rave about the mushroom burger also

Jose bust down!! That's a good bacon cheeseburger

Jose the cook, bust down!!! Bacon cheeseburger smackin!! I will be back! Onion rings crispy. You can see him cookin everything

When I tasted the beef Philly I was ready to order one to go, but they had sold out. We heard two different bands. The loud music did make it hard to have a conversation. A word of warning that does not affect my rating: bees and yellow jackets are everywhere. My kids and I pulled off the freeway coming from Sacramento specifically to try Johnny Boi's today. I had seen several reviews on Instagram and they were all good which meant I had to give it a try.. We ordered four burgers, two smash burgers and two Fatboy burgers and two orders of tater tots one Oreo cookie shake and an ice cream cone. The total was a little over $70.. ouch! The first thing I thought while paying the bill was these better be some good burgers for that amount of money. The food was ready within a few minutes. I saw them frying the burgers fresh, which was great! I noticed there were tater tots sitting under the heat lamp when we placed our order....i hoped we wouldn't get those because they looked as if they had been sitting for a while. As luck would have it, we did indeed get those tater tots and as luck would also have it, they were indeed cold. Bummer - cause if you know me, you know I like my food fresh and hot! The burgers were just ok. They didn't have any seasoning and the smash sauce was a bit spicy. Even though I watched them put the meat on the grill which I thought was our burgers, the burgers came out just warm. The cheese was barely melted and the bun, although very soft was also cold. They gave us a small cup of ranch dressing and it was delicious!!! The last thing I got was a Soft serve ice cream cone. It reminded me of the ice cream cones that you get on a cruise ship. It takes awhile for the server to come assist you, especially ordering drinks. Half our table got drinks and finished before the other got to order. The drinks took awhile to come out and came at different times and were inconsistent with taste and garnish. They never collected any empty glasses when they came with new drinks. So our table was cluttered. This is not good when your table is already cramped. When we were ordering the food the server kept trying to pressure us to order more (either two of the same dish or more food). Unfortunately we listened and got two of the mussel with fries. The assembly of this dish was not great. They put a glob of mayo on top of the mussels...then fries under with a TON of not so great broth. The fries get sooooo soggy and dipping it becomes a nightmare when you start eating the mussels. The mussels also weren't that great. It wasn't necessarily fishy but almost tasted old or left out. I would not recommend this dish. The Brussels sprouts were horrendous and EXTREMELY salty. It was drenched in this buffalo tasting vinaigrette. The entire party hated this. As for the chicken, it was alright. The hot sauce wasn't great so I ate it alone. The biscuit was tough and hard to rip apart. It didn't have that flakey texture. The slaw was a miss from just looking at it. My favorite thing out of it all was the Mac and cheese. Not dry, had good amount of salt. Oh, and if you want to order the side of carrots, I'm not sure 2 slices is worth the amount they charge. The menu is also limited compared to what was offered before.
