Cioppino

OMG the seafood is great here, the Cioppino is Amazing. The Fish and Chips are a very generous portion. He has American, Italian and Mexican food and does all very good and tasty!

The fish pasta !

A charming little place with lots of choices on the menu . We did not try the Mexican food as we were not in the mood but we were happy they had more creative dishes ! My husband loved the seafood pasta which had a nice variety of seafood and a good quantity as well . I ordered fish and chips and the fish was excellent and a big piece too. We will definitely go back to try something else!!

Asada Street Tacos

First time eating there after hearing so many recommendations. I ordered the Asada Tacos and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food. Service was excellent and quick. Cute little restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating.

Breakfast menu only served on weekends which was a bummer to find out when we got there. Inside can get stuffy and smell like cleaning supplies, luckily, they have a small outdoor area. Portions are huge! The fish and chips (friends got it with soup instead) was not your ordinary 2-3 fillets in heavy batter. Instead, it was one huge fish battered in panko crumbs which gave a better crunchiness to it without being super heavy. The clamp chowder was not your Campbell's out of the can. It was creamer without being too rich. The tuna melt was good on ciabatta bread, but the filling kept falling out. The chef came out with cookies for the kiddos which was nice. It was good food and satisfying. Can't wait to try their breakfast on weekends!

Burger smacked!

The burger is amazing! The garlic fries delicious! When in Crockett, I love going here for a bite! The food never disappoints.

I still love this place. I've explored other foods. The Blue Burger was great but there was just a bit of blue cheese. I love blue so I could have definitely used more!! Michilada (sp?) was good, toppings were meh but it did the job. Ate outside where the sun was shining.

Crockett Cocina is the go to restaurant for our customers when they come to town. They serve Italian dishes, great burgers and sandwiches along with great Mexican food. They cater all the receptions for the Epperson Gallery.

Philly Cheesteak with garlic fries

What a lovely find on our over night adventure. We needed something to fuel our upcoming hike so this is where we ended up On the way out to the George Miller Trail. We ordered the 1/3 lb burger with clam chowder and the Philly cheese Sammy with garlic fries. Food came quickly and was piping hot. The lady who took our order brought the food out to our table. Everything was delish. The clam chowder was my favorite, made in house, and full of flavor. My husband loved his Philly. The baguette it was served on was fantastic. The portion of fries was very large. The dining room is cozy with many extra table on their patio. The lack of a star comes from a lack of Parking. Sadly, no parking lot and very limited street parking. Worth it to try and find yourself a spot!

Cajun Pasta

10/10 Amazing! Sensational! I had the BEST Cajun pasta & cioppino ever! Do not let the location of this place fool you, I was not expecting the food to be this amazing!! Place looks like a hole in the wall, yet food menu is filled with endless options! From burgers to seafood to pasta to tacos, I am impressed!! Service was great as well & food came out piping hot. I will be coming back and exploring more of their menu.

Excellent Food Ample. Portions Good Service Interesting Selections Try them and you will be rewarded with a wonderful meal.

The only times I'm ever in Crockett is if I feel like hiking in either Crockett Hills (rare lately after a dog attacked me) or Carquinez Strait Regional Shoreline (often because I can grab a cocktail at the Warehouse in Port Costa). Regardless I usually find myself driving past the town center except this time I decided to make a stop at this cafe that I last recall was a friendly taqueria named Judy's Place. That was a couple of years ago. Now it's become a kinda hybrid diner/burger/pasta place which certainly makes for a unique menu. I've stopped by a couple of times, and I have to admit the food fell a bit short each time. On my first visit, I tried the $13.99 Big Blue Wedge Salad, which was indeed a big plate with plenty of iceberg lettuce, crumbled blue cheese, cherry tomatoes, chopped green onion, and bacon bits. I just found the blue cheese too excessive for my taste (photo: https://yelp.to/9-Gsba6eSO). I came back a few months later and was in a pasta mood. I decided to order the $19.99 Pasta Primavera with Chicken. The requisite vegetables were present - bits of broccoli, shards of zucchini, sliced mushrooms - as well as plentiful Parmesan shavings. The problem for me was the unexpected addition of a cream sauce which just struck me as an unnecessarily calorific choice (photo: https://yelp.to/kC7ozKSjGL). The $12.99 Caesar Salad turned out to be a better option for me because surprisingly it was underdressed (photo: https://yelp.to/4lrEAUZ90q). According to their menu, they offer burgers, tacos, chicken tenders, calamari, nachos, tuna melts, even a fresh mozzarella sando. I might come back and give something else a try. I also have to share that I didn't feel the service was terribly warm, at least compared with Judy and her tacos. FOOD - 3 stars...hearty plates hamstrung by slight missteps AMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...still a small space, seating felt limited SERVICE - 3 stars...fitful TOTAL - 3 stars...not quite the comfort food I was looking for RELATED - Exploring this part of Contra Costa County? This still is a really good place but seriously for the love of God if you're going to put mangoes in coleslaw, please say so. They looked like carrots.

They offer a wide ranging menu but the four entrees we ordered were mediocre. Very nice people though.

I had their fish tacos and they were tasty. They were out of tilapia the last time I had visited them for lunch. I recommend calling ahead.

I love that the ribs were not slathered with barbecue sauce, but barbecue sauce was provided on the side. They didn't need it, because they tasted great. I originally ordered it my two sides as collard greens and seasoned fries. By mistake they brought me out some coleslaw also. Best coleslaw I've had. I'm not normally a coleslaw fan, but I could have eaten two orders of this coleslaw. The collard greens we're unusual but amazing nonetheless. And the season fries could not have been better. The food came out super fast, but it was also super fresh. It was obvious that nothing had been lying around. And the service could not have been beat. Devin, my server, could not have been more attentive and professional. The dining room is bright, spotless, and wide open. Most of the tables are family style tables, but they're large enough where you would not feel uncomfortable dining with the complete stranger. And it wouldn't matter if you were with a complete stranger, because if they're eating here, they're probably a pretty cool person anyway. I can't wait to come back to Bobby Mac's. Oh, and as for Downtown Crockett, I love it. I've always wanted a reason to spend more time in Crockett. It's a fantastic little city only a few miles from San Francisco and Oakland.

I don't know who Bobby Mac is, but I think he is my new hero…read more 100000/10. Some of the best food I've ever had, and definitely the best BBQ. My husband and I ate in total silence, staring at each other wide eyed with big ol' grins. I knew this place was going to be a gem when I read the review from someone from Kansas City saying the BBQ here was legit, and dang... did he not let us down! Restaurant is ridiculously beautiful. Decor is just my style, there's a great layout with a bar room on a risen level that seems to be waiting to get expanded into. It feels chic, but homey with kitchen tables and mismatched chairs. Service was great, food took a bit to cook (which means it's legit, made for you, zero complaints) and was well worth the wait. The food... THE FOOD!!! My burger was... marinated? I think? It was so crazy, so flavorful, so perfect. My husband ordered a Philly-esque sandwich and I think he died of joy and happiness while eating it. Adding this to my *take me here every day* list =)
