    Brussels sprouts
    Adrian V.

Went on an early Saturday evening and were greeted quickly and we chose our table and were delivered a carafe of water by the very upbeat hostess/waitress/busser. Since she was the only front person working it took a few minutes to get our menus and the another bit of time to place our order so we ordered everything at once. My wife's agua Fresca and my glass of wine came quickly from there it was a waiting game tho. The Brussels sprouts came out first as expected so we munched on those first. Good flavor of lemon, garlic and cheese with a hint of balsamic I believe. My wife enjoyed them more than me because I tend to like mine fried not baked and a bit sweeter. Not bad tho. Then another 40-45 minutes passed before our pizza and pork chop were delivered to our table. Both super high quality. The pork chop itself was cooked perfectly and nearly melted in our mouths. But for me, the gravy was a bit too salty as was the coleslaw type of greens that the pork chop was bedded upon. There was a baked pear on the plate that did give some relief from the salt but not really enough to balance out the dish. Again high quality but just misses overall. The pepperoni pizza was top of the line and well curated. Thin slices of pepperoni that gets nicely crisped on the edges and the bold Kalamata olives and tender mushrooms on top of their nice creamy cheese, inviting red sauce and soft pizza dough was the highlight dish for me. But they really do need to make sure to turn the pizza as one side of ours was a bit charred compared to the other side. Still amazing tho. The space is nostalgic and has a big old town Crocket mural facing the front door and the tables are clean and the space is simple and inviting. I would rate Dukes higher but because if took too long to get our food it gets dropped a full star. A solid 3.5 is how I rate it now until the next time we go. Could easily be 4.5 stars so we shall see. Definitely worth a visit!

So Duke's is owned by the same owners as Lucia's and Olympia. Hopefully they'll be around for a while. This is their soft opening weekend. It's a huge room with a large table for sharing and smaller tables. The food was good but most of it was very rich...which after getting home, I was blah. We ordered the bone marrow, salad, short ribs and mushroom pizza. I truly enjoyed the salad and mushroom pizza (it probably could have used another minute in the oven though). In the long run, I think this will be a great upgrade to the night time dining scene! Oh, we started eating before I took pics! So, I did take pics but after we messed up the presentation!

Enjoyed Brussel sprouts, cheese pizza and the smash burger tonight for dinner. Attentive service. Relaxed atmosphere. Glad to have this option in town. Will be back skk

I need to come back and try some other food. It's easy to pass by and not realize there's a place to order food here. It would probably be better if they had an ordering pad vs waiting for someone to come up front because it is a little confusing when you walk into the room. Staff is friendly. They need a large menu and sign posted on the window same street side as Lucia's I think. They have gluten free crepes, came with pistachios on it vs. hazelnut which was fine with us, though they should probably tell people in case they want to skip the switch. The blackberry sauce needed some work and I think should be on the side because they made it soggy. I think crepe is the wrong description, but it was nice to see a gluten free option available. Curious to try their other food. Ambiance is nice, very cute spot.

Brunch was funkin fabulous! Me and my friends went this morning and ate very well. We had the breakfast sandwich, two egg meal, breakfast burrito, chilaquiles, mimosa and two French press coffees. My only critique is my toast could have been toastier, but other than that everything was delicious and plated beautifully. I will be back for brunch with my buddies again.

This restaurant is a gem! We went for dinner, and we were hoping for a good meal - no go: it is GREAT. The ahi poke (an appetizer) was fabulous; the tuna was amazing, and the chips were gorgeous. We both had the smash burgers and they were perfection! Finally we had the cornmeal orange cake - over the moon for this, and I recommended it to a couple seated nearby and they loved it too. Our server was outstanding - professional, warm and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was casual, but I have to say the meal was perfection. I cannot wait to go back!

Ok. I don't understand why people aren't flocking to Dukes. Just had my third dinner there over the past month. Tonight I kept it to the appetizers. Roasted carrots with hazelnut, dates and yogurt sauce. Roasted brussel sprouts with bacon, chili and garlic. Hawaiian poke with avocado, wasabi mayo and pickled cucumber. Out of this world!! Every taste perfect. My dining partners had the bacon pizza , the other the off the menu smash burger. The pizzas are wood fire, 10", and delicious. Not overly packed with ingredients with unique combos. But the smash burger was amazing. I'm not a huge burger fan but the grind was a tasty combo, it was crispy and at the same time moist. The fries remained crisp to the last one. Once again, I forgot pictures! Please make Duke's a great off the cuff destination in the sweet town of Crockett

OMG! This smash burger is easily the best I've ever had. This restaurant has recently open and might I say hit the ground running. You can taste the quantity in the ingredients. The dining space is open and clean. Randy the owner goes above and beyond. Did I menthe smash burger? It likely on the secret menu , but ask about it! The menu has some staples and some rotating items. All dishes have an elevated feel! It's a must try !

Stopped in the other day to have a late breakfast with my mom while we were in the area. Everything was really great, the waiter and staff all very friendly. I had the chilaquiles and my mom had a salmon breakfast sandwich both absolutely delicious and they had good coffee aswell. I would definitely recommend it and come back again.

We visit about 2-4 times a year, and this most recent visit was especially memorable as we celebrated my husband's birthday and my retirement after 36 years of service. Our party of four started with the calamari and chili cheese fries, which were the perfect appetizers to share. For our entrees, we enjoyed the snapper, prime rib, a seafood platter loaded with clams, shrimp, and crab, and the Crab Feast with garlic noodles. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, generously portioned, and beautifully prepared. If you're a seafood lover, you won't be disappointed! What truly makes The Dead Fish stand out is the exceptional hospitality. The staff was attentive, friendly, and professional throughout our entire visit, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. We also chose to dine on the outdoor patio, where the scenic waterfront and bridge views created the perfect backdrop for such a meaningful celebration. The relaxed atmosphere, delicious food, and outstanding service made the occasion even more special. It's easy to understand why so many people praise The Dead Fish for its attentive staff, beautiful water views, lively ambiance, and outstanding seafood. We always leave with wonderful memories and look forward to our next visit. Highly recommend for celebrations, date nights, family gatherings, or anyone looking for great seafood with an unforgettable waterfront view!

It takes awhile for the server to come assist you, especially ordering drinks. Half our table got drinks and finished before the other got to order. The drinks took awhile to come out and came at different times and were inconsistent with taste and garnish. They never collected any empty glasses when they came with new drinks. So our table was cluttered. This is not good when your table is already cramped. When we were ordering the food the server kept trying to pressure us to order more (either two of the same dish or more food). Unfortunately we listened and got two of the mussel with fries. The assembly of this dish was not great. They put a glob of mayo on top of the mussels...then fries under with a TON of not so great broth. The fries get sooooo soggy and dipping it becomes a nightmare when you start eating the mussels. The mussels also weren't that great. It wasn't necessarily fishy but almost tasted old or left out. I would not recommend this dish. The Brussels sprouts were horrendous and EXTREMELY salty. It was drenched in this buffalo tasting vinaigrette. The entire party hated this. As for the chicken, it was alright. The hot sauce wasn't great so I ate it alone. The biscuit was tough and hard to rip apart. It didn't have that flakey texture. The slaw was a miss from just looking at it. My favorite thing out of it all was the Mac and cheese. Not dry, had good amount of salt. Oh, and if you want to order the side of carrots, I'm not sure 2 slices is worth the amount they charge. The menu is also limited compared to what was offered before.

The Chorizo hash Benedict was also delicious, it wasn't greasy like some Chorizo can be, and the eggs also cooked perfect.
