Reopened. Regulars seem to be very happy to be back. Haven't noticed food or anything different, but there is way more room. I originally visited this place for the bullshooters dart boards. One connected online. I'm sure the rest will come in time. I'm just really glad they are back. The dive bar part seems to have gone but it was 3 p.m. so well have to visit later next time. I went in on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy. I don't usually leave reviews but last night just blew my mind. I stood at the bar to order drink for over 10 minutes and they had 4 bartenders behind the bar. 1 roamed around like she didn't know what she was doing. The others were just talking the entire time. I use to bartend at the Oakland Raiders games so I know how a busy bar should be handled. I understand waiting if a bartender is busy. In that 10 minutes I seen maybe 4 drinks go out and total. Finally I had to say excuse me can I get a drink. As soon as I got my 2 drinks I handed her cash. Then she came back and asked if I I had tab. Ummm no I just paid you. My boyfriend and I happened to stumble into a super cool official ECV watering hole in Crockett after the NASCAR race this weekend! (Which is even cooler because he's a Clamper!) Just when we thought our day couldn't get any better, there was Cindy behind the bar with a smile and offer of cold drinks. We enjoyed watching the end of the Giant's game (with Pence hitting for the win in the bottom of the 11th) before heading home. Well, heading to Port Costa, and then home. ;) Crockett is a cute little town. It's one of the ones I have on my list of homes for sale because we'd love to live there! Very nice folks. MJ, bartender, I like her spirit. She's very approachable and friendly. I like that she did not take/assume the $$ in front of us is her tip. I like that even though we did not give her tip right away she was still serving us and entertaining us by having a convo with us. Please do not expect fancy cocktails, the bar is more of a shot and beer place. With that said, they can still mix cocktails. The place has two pool tables. Not free but you don't have to go to the bar to pay, it's like a vending machine...just add in some coins and you'll get the balls. The inside is surprisingly spacious. I honestly did not expect that Club Tac would have so much space, knowing that it is situated in a very small town, Crockett. read more

This is a great local bar to hang out at. The locals treat you with respect and interact with you. I ended up leaving my cell phone in the restroom by mistake when I was leaving and they chased me down to my vehicle to give it back. How many places would do that?? It made a huge positive impression for me, plus the drinks are great and inexpensive. It's worth checking out!!! read more

The staff was VERY friendly!! They definitely try to make you feel welcome... I went on a slow night and at one point the bartender announced, "No One use the jukebox I'm setting it up to my iPod and I will choose the music!" Literally NEVER heard that before... LOL!! For a little hole in the wall dive bar, this place really isn't that bad. I came here with a girlfriend one evening after dining at The Dead Fish down the street. We were up for some pool and a few drinks. She suggested Club Tac, being she had been here before, and I am certainly glad she suggested we stop in. The aesthetic exterior of the place ( to me) certainly exudes that kind of dingy, grimey, don't go by yourself, kind of place; however once entering, I was greatly surprised to walk into what looked like, a well kept, clean, nice bar/ mini pool hall, happening place. My girlfriend and I, really enjoyed our time here playing a few round of pool, while indulging in some libations. Both the bartenders working this evening, were exceptionally personable, friendly, and made some damn, good strong drinks :) I really looking forward to visiting again sometime. read more

This little place is cute. I had a margarita here and it was very tasty and inexpensive, $4. However, it took me awhile to get served. It seems like the regulars here always come first, but that's at any bar. I don't want to assume that it's also because I'm a person of color, but that could be part of it as well, or simply I'm just not from here. I came here alone and it was still cool, no ruckus and this is the best margarita I've probably ever had. Maybe next time I'll come in with a friend and on a better day. read more

I have been here twice. Nice relaxing place. I was surprised the tap beer was only $3.50 each. I was there 28th of July for a couple pints of Sierra Nevada and to watch the Olympics. Very relaxing and the bartender was attentive. I will be back to visit. read more

I came into this bar with my boyfriend on a Saturday night and got carded at the door, when we went in to get a drink and we also got carded at the bar which I thought was weird but I thought what ever its not like were under age, we gave her our IDs and our orders and the bar tender said she had to go with her gut and refused to sell me liquor because it was an out of state ID and I look too young. I know I look like I'm 13 but I had proper ID showing that I'm 23 years old, she should have served me because I had proof of my age, I feel like maybe I shouldn't be butt hurt but that really offended me, it completely ruined my night out with my man. read more

First found this place when I moved to Vallejo about a year and a half ago now. Love dive bars and this one has a great vibe. I met Jamie on my first trip there and she has been my go-to bartender ever since. Great service, awesome dirnks and I have been really excited about the Tuesday night Blues Jam that she organizes and promotes. The bad news is I am moving to Florida in a couple of days. The good news is I took my best friend there last night (hell yes it was a Tuesday!). Incredible music, danced the night away and have a memory we will talk about for a long long time. Thanks Jamie. It represents the history of Crockett. It does have its own tweaks now and then but for the most part, you can get great conversation and everybody will welcome you with a smile!
