I've been coming here for a decade and their quality has only improved. The cafe is now larger and a little more modern but they still left a touch of the aviation theme that started their journey. There is now a Tesla Supercharger so navigate to that instead of the cafe so that your Tesla preconditions while you enjoy your morning. They no longer support their own app and have turned the keys over to Square to create an account to make it easier to pay and reorder. The ready times you get in the app are later than it's usually ready so I recommend giving them 10-20 minutes lead time. Here's my rating of the variety of foods and drinks I've tried. Undertow - 8 - Fun twist on a cortado as the half and half is cold and they add a splash of vanilla. The hot espresso is carefully floated on top of the milk so that when you drink you feel the cold "underflow" of vanilla milk. Cortado- 8 - Small but powerful sip of espresso. I prefer it with half and half and a touch of sugar over Journey's method but it is a tasty sip. Lavender Latte - -10 - the best version of a lavender latte you'll ever have. Cherry Blossom Latte - 9 - The cherry syrup is very forward but blends nicely into the latte which gives it light finish. The coffee does get a touch lost so add an extra shot. Citrus Cocoa Latte - 9 - The orange syrup is prevalent throughout the drink but the cocoa starts to stand up more the last half of the drink. I don't prefer chocolate drinks but this doesn't taste like a mocha at all. Very well done Journey!!! Veggie n Egg Breakfast Wrap - 7 - Light and flavorful but needs some pop from another ingredient. I recommend using the Tapatio hit sauce to elevate it above our 7 rating for those that want some pop of flavor and can handle spice. Breakfast Hand Pie - 6 - The pastry wasn't crispy but it did have some crispy seeds on it to save the texture, a bit gummy for my liking. The filling was also creamy with more cheese than needed (and I love cheese). Although good, I wouldn't get it again because the flavor of the filling fell flat. First Class Wrap - 10 - If you can handle spice, the chipotle sauce is amazing amidst the variety of ingredients. This is my go-to and everybody I introduce it to gets it as well. Every business partner I've introduced this right off the freeway coffee stop has loved and kept as their own. It's a no brainer if you're headed down I-80. read more

Really loved Journey Coffee. I came in on a Saturday afternoon just wanting a place to drink coffee and read, and this spot was perfect. Super chill, calm vibes, and mellow/lofi music. Easy to relax and hang out for a while. I had a pour-over medium roast and it was delicious. Big plus that they also offer food if you want a bite. The staff was really friendly and took the time to explain the different coffee roasts they offered for the pour overs. I also noticed they offered international coffee and can be purchased, as well as merch. They serve drinks in mugs if you ask, which I always appreciate. There's outdoor seating and a private meeting/study space you can reserve, great if you need something quieter or meetings. Overall, a solid spot for coffee, studying, or just vibing with a book. My husband & I came here with our neighbor Mon 7/13 around 12pm. Our neighbor is a regular here, so she enjoyed her 12oz Latte $6, and my husband enjoyed his 16oz Cocoa Latte $6.75. I'm not a coffee drinker so I just got a Blueberry Scone $4.50 which was ok. It was wrapped in plastic wrap, so it might have been from the previous day, so it was kind of stale and dry. read more

I enjoyed visiting any of the Journey Coffee. Upon entry you walk into an area of mixed table areas and chairs near the windows. I was able to place my order with ease. It didn't take to long before it was ready which was great. Even though my Avocado toast had pickled onions and sprouts that I didn't ask for, I picked them off and ate the sandwich. Ordered a mint matcha latte and breakfast hand pie. They were out of the mint syrup so they gave me choices for alternatives. I went with the vanilla. They also have your choice of dairy alternatives. The vanilla matcha latte was delicious and cute latte art too! The hand pie was very filling. Very savory but a touch on the salty side. It was served wrapped in foil and warm. Service was friendly and quick. The ambiance/decor is industrial but trendy. Think dark metal and wood but still cozy. It looks like there is some construction so they no longer have the nice covered patio with large table on the side. But there is still outside seating along the sidewalk with bistro sets, string lights, and modern looking seating. It would be nice if they put in some shade cover for that. Haven't been here in many years, but it was a lot better than I remembered! It's an easy stop right off of the freeway if you're passing through. They had a seasonal menu available so we tried two of their seasonal drinks, and I hope they'll add them to the menu permanently! I placed an order through the app and it was easy and convenient. I was headed to an event that morning and wanted coffee and food for the day. I ordered yogurt, a grown up grilled cheese and a breakfast hand pie. The prices are on the higher end but I rarely come to Journey. The food quality is excellent though. Their drinks are always good. The yogurt was delicious, the grilled cheese was good and the hand pie was bigger than my hand and very flavorful. I opted for curbside pick up but there weren't any designated spots. I decided to go in the store and pick up my items which were ready when I arrived. The store has plenty of parking, is spacious and the employees are always so friendly. I haven't been to their downtown location yet but definitely been to their other locations. I drove home and opened it up to eat it and was just disgusted to see lettuce stems on there and when I pulled it off to look at the rest, omg, the bacon is dead. I do like my bacon cooked but not burnt. She asked if I wanted avocado and I said yes. Normally you get sliced. Not here. They smear a thin coating and the thinnest tomato. Then the bread, they use the cheapest quality of bread I've ever eaten. It's supposed to be sour dough. No way. It was so light and airy like cheap crap. When you bite into it almost disappears in your mouth. What a joke. I will never walk foot in that place again. A tea and that disgusting sandwich was $18.83. Done with this place.
