Came here on a whim and it initially had nobody inside so we thought, it's not busy, however the wait time to order our drinks was about 25-30 mins. Apparently, you order your drink inside and then people often wait outside so that's why it appeared empty. The matcha drinks are decent, they have different levels of sweetness and a lot of toppings you can select to add along with different milk options which is cool. They use ceremonial grade matcha which I love. The drinks are pretty sweet and we got the regular sweetness level so just keep that in mind if you don't like sweet drinks. Once you order, the wait time to actually get your drinks isn't that bad. I think they just need more help to be honest. But the two ladies working were friendly and greeted us as we walked in. If you're not in a rush, stop in and give them a try. The matcha drinks come in these really cute reusable cups :)
First time trying this place, the food was delicious, drinks were really good. Person taking our order was very friendly, patient and our order was out pretty quick. Didn't take photos of it, but we also ordered the popcorn chicken sinigang style w/dojo sauce on the side, pork chop katsu bento, both were super tasty!! We will be coming back for sure.
Stopped by here while my husband was shopping and had a hard time deciding what I wanted from the extensive menu! I finally narrowed it down to the black flame milk tea which is a black sugar milk tea with creme brulee on top. It was delicious! I was worried about not adjusting my sweetness but it actually was just right for me at the regular level. Next time I want to try a topping with my drink! I saw that some drinks come in cute jars and I'd love to order one of those next time. My husband's black sesame coffee was also delicious! Apparently the black sesame cream is made in house and it was a perfect ratio. My only downside about this spot was the size - there is nowhere to sit inside and it was so crowded just waiting for drinks in there too! But otherwise it's smart to have this takeout type place here in the Outlets so that you can grab your drink while you shop and walk around! Service was okay, there were about 5 people all working but still seemed like it was taking a while considering how many people were working. Also it would be nice if someone could just say "we'll be with you in a minute" since I stood there waiting in front of the register for a solid few minutes - and it can be confusing who is waiting to order or already ordered due to the size of the space.
I was just here yesterday night and that was my first time coming here. When you order drinks, you're allowed to make adjustments to the sweetness, which is what I did. I got a Taro smoothie with 50% sweetness. The jar that it came in is super cute. I also did get popcorn chicken with sweet chili. Overall, I would come back here again. The workers are very friendly too :)
If you're shopping at the Vacaville Outlets, this is the perfect spot to grab a quick bite and some yummy boba tea drinks! It's an actual store rather than the typical food trucks or carts that they have here. It's right next to West Elm outlets, Levi's, Crate & Barrel.. that side. They have a few outdoor tables and benches to sit on. Inside is small, no tables. You just place your order and wait outside, they have a pick up window. They have a pretty good system and set up. The staff here is very friendly and also fast with service! Didn't have to wait very long at all. Best of all...they have PUP CUPS!!!! So you can have a treat and get one for your dog as well. I was pleasantly surprised that they have Filipino flavors here as well! They have lumpia Shanghai, chicken skins (get this, and get this with their sinigang seasoning!!!), and Lechon kawali! They even have a few rice plates! Everything we tried was really good. Came here with my family and there was something to satisfy everyone's cravings and taste buds! Definitely recommending !
My partner told me about this place she use to come to when she worked in the outlets for a good price, since we happened to be in the area we decided to give it a try for a quick bite. We got a full order of popcorn chicken with a half order of fries and two drinks the DOJO-O and the Passion Fruit Mango Tea with Mango popping pearls The service from the woman up front was amazing , she gave us time to look over the menu and didn't rush us at all. She answered any questions I had and even gave me some recommendations on what to order for a drink! will definitely come back to try the strawberry tea refresher they have! It wasn't busy so we were able to find a seat right in the front of the business!
Hole in the wall Mom & Pop shop in Vacaville, run by a married couple inspired by their trip to Japan to provide authentic matcha and yummy treats back home. With ceremonial matcha sourced from a small town in Japan, fresh fruit syrups, and homemade recipes I have a lot of respect for this place. Since it was my first time here, they helped me choose which thing to order. We settled on the strawberry matcha to meet the best of both worlds for fruity/ refreshing & a slow-sip treat. I didn't get boba this time, but learned that it's made fresh daily! I would recommend stopping by to meet kind people, hear their story, and get a pick-me-up tea or snack! Tea Dojo Vacaville (located next to West Elm Outlet) is hands down one of the coolest small businesses we've visited! The owners are such a humble and kind couple -- you can really feel the good vibes when you walk in. The onion rings are SO crunchy! The wings are juicy and flavorful. The chicken popcorn is a must -- sinigang is the best Salt & pepper has a nice kick, and the Dojo flavor is solid too. The lechon kawali with their shoyu sauce is sooo good (not pictured but we had it earlier). The drinks and food are bomb, and their boba is made fresh every single morning. Definitely worth checking out and supporting local!
Had a family outing to get some boba on a rainy day. It was my family's first time going here. We had great customer service. The guy ringing us out asked if there was anything else we wanted to add to our drinks and my little one said extra love... when we received our drinks they put the cutest note with extra love, and my little one was so excited by it! Obsessed with their new sinigang aioli! Perfect for anyone who loves tangy, sour dips like me. It pairs so well with their crispy bites. The cute jars/cups are such a fun touch too! I have one thing to say about Tea Dojo As we say back in Hawaii, " Broke Da Mouth" onolicious. Oh my gosh so so so good. The fried chicken skin which the call "Chick-Charon" was so crispy and not one bit oily. So light and it comes with vinegar sauce. I could talk all day about their amazing Popcorn Chicken. The best tasting Popcorn Chicken on the planet. This is Dojo Style. The ONLY way to order this. So flavorful. Trust me on this recommendation...you won't be disappointed. The drinks are so fresh and tasty. Im telling you people, you have to come and try Tea Dojo for yourself. The ladies were very friendly helpful as it was our first time there since moving to Cali. I initially was going to order my own popcorn chicken, but she suggested that we just go with the one order that my daughter ordered because it is a lot of chicken and I go ahead and order the chicken-Charon. She was right, it was a lot of chicken. The drinks like I said are light and flavorful. I always opt for coconut milk or almond milk in my drinks, but this time I decided to go with coconut milk and it really gave it a refreshing twist. It comes in the cutest cups that we didn't know we would be receiving our beverages in. That was a PLUS UP! The place is built big enough to order and prepare of food and beverages. Very clean and organized. But if you plan on going shopping in the shopping center then take it to your car to enjoy which we did. This restaurant is located next door to West Elm. Guys this place is sooo great!! From the drinks to the staff are so wonderful!!! I recently moved from the bay and I've been having a hard time finding a good spot for drinks, until I found this place and oh my lord drinks are delicious!!! And the prices aren't bad at all!! You 100% get ur moneys worth in this place! And the whole place is such a cute ambiance!! Very cute and clean!
Back with an update two years later... Tea Dojo Cafe is under new ownership and wow! The owners, Michelle and John (or Jon, sorry!) have made delicious changes to Tea Dojo Cafe! They kept a lot of the first owner's menu but added a lot more food and a few changes to the drink recipes. One change is using Ceremonial Matcha instead of Traditional Matcha, and trust me, the quality of Matcha they use tastes pretty top notch! Some food I def rec trying are their Curry Chicken Popcorn Bento, Savory Soy Wings, Chick-charron, Tater Tots Dojo Style. Everything the prepare is made in house. Their Calamari is fresh and hand-cut by Michelle herself! And you can taste the quality of their calamari, too! It's so yummy; esp with the sweet chili sauce! The Savory Soy Wings is similar to a Soy flavored Korean Fried Chicken. It's crisp and marinated perfectly. This one is probably # 1 for me! For the drinks, I really enjoyed the Matcha Strawberry Latte! The strawberry puree they use, in any of their strawberry drinks, is also made in-house! To order, they have an ordering kiosk which is user friendly and pretty straight forward. Or you can order through a human. They also have a pick up window after placing your order because there are no seats or tables inside Tea Dojo Cafe. Staff was friendly and we got our food/ drinks in a timely matter. It was really nice being able to chat with the owners, too! I'm really happy to see the changes at Tea Dojo Cafe, because Vacaville Premium Outlets needs a good boba tea snack place. What a treat! Great snack options, although we didn't get any, and great boba! The cups are cute too and resuable! You can modify all the things: ice, sweetness, etc. It's tucked away with the other outlets that isn't over packed. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It's a lot more affordable then other boba places too. The place is small and takes up just a corner. You order then pick up at an outside window. It's a great stop before you do your shopping. Relatively fast to order, but there was a line. Boba was worth it. Got a green tea lychee (0% extra sweetness) and taro milk tea (50% sweetness). Both were great. There are three tables outside to sit, so that's what we did and enjoyed the boba. read more

Immediately upon entering the owner greeted me so kindly and was just such a ray of sunshine! She asked if it was my first time in and she helped walk me through the menu and pick out what would be exactly what I'd like! She made the yummiest strawberry matcha drink just to my liking and they use REAL whole Strawberries and blend them up right there which you don't see a lot. Such a yummy refreshing drink! Look no further for your boba and matcha needs! They also have a wide variety of food that all looked delish! I'll for sure be back soon :) Notable also- very clean and bright and tidy! read more

On our way home from a road trip and needed a pick me up before driving another 1.5 hrs home. Saw this boba shop in the outlet and decided to give it a try. They were having some sorta issue with their system but props to the girl working the front. She was very pleasant and calm. We ordered: Strawberry matcha latte. Got it 50% sweet and light ice. Perfect! Will add boba next time. Kyoho grape lemon tea - 75% sweet and normal ice. Worked well. It has that slight bitterness of the tea. But very refreshing. It comes with agar jelly. Which we like. Cupid's bow - for the kids. 50% sweetness and light ice. Again, I guess I hit the sweetness level that we like lol. So does that mean it's really sweet at 100?! Maybe. Popcorn chicken and calamari. Both were solid. Nice and crunchy. We got them plain so maybe could have used some sauce which we chose not to grab since we ate it in the car. Overall. Surprisingly good drinks! We will definitely be back if shopping! Also it didn't take long to make at all. Here from instagrams @foodiemompickyfam page. I seen her video review and was eager to give them a try and they did not disappoint. It's hard to find good milk tea and boba in this area so I'm happy to have a new spot. The oolong milk tea was perfect and the boba pears were soft and flavorful. Wanted something easy to eat while driving on my way back to sac and stumbled across this place while I was at the outlets. As soon as I walked in, I was instantly greeted. The girls working there were friendly. I ordered the cookies and cream milkshake with 25% sweetness and the popcorn chicken. Both tasted great. At first I thought $10 was a little pricy but the amount they give you is worth it. The place is small with no indoor seating, but there's a small bench right outside. My fiancé and I were at the Vacaville premium outlets and came across teadojo cafe, which is a small boba shop located in a corner within the shopping outlet. We met the owners, Michelle and Jon and they were both so welcoming and friendly! We learned that they took over Teadojo within the last year and changed up the menu to their specific likings. We've been here before, and we noticed that their food menu is a lot larger with a good amount of Filipino/Asian inspired flavors. We ordered the chick charron, curry chicken popcorn bento, savory soy wings, and calamari. Every single item tasted amazing and fresh. We learned that their calamari is hand cut in house and their fried chicken skins are fresh from their supplier. The soil wings had the perfect crunch and texture and what I liked was that they only serve only flats which is my go to order when I order chicken wings. For our drinks, we ordered the strawberry Matcha latte and Thai tea. We learned that the matcha they use is ceremonial matcha, which tasted a lot fresher bolder than your traditional matcha from a grocery store. Their strawberry purée is homemade and you can definitely taste the authenticity of it. The restaurant itself does not have any indoor seating but there are benches located right outside. Regardless, this is a perfect place to enjoy small eats and drinks while shopping around to the outlets or take home for a light snack. Parking is not an issue at all, as I said before ifs located in the corner of a large shopping area. We will definitely be back when we're in the area to try more of their other foods and drinks. I'm not from around the area. But when I tell you this place was 20 mins away from my hotel, it was very much worth it! I ordered the Strawberry Lychee fruit tea with boba! And let me just say! This drink was the best! Even the boba was super soft (which is rare) and the flavor was the BEST! the service was great. I was able to meet the owner and she is so sweet! I will definitely continue to come here when I visit North California again! read more

Was in town and craving boba so a friend recommended Tea Dojo. I tried the Stormy Purple Cloud with boba and it was delicious! Hit the sweet spot for the evening! The boba was made to perfection - soft yet chewy! The drink itself was everything I wanted - sweet, creamy, refreshing, and hearty. I love that Tea Dojo have so many options to customize from sweetness level, ice, cup sizing/split, and my must have - milk alternatives since I'm lactose intolerant. I also tried the popcorn chicken as highly suggested. That did not disappoint as well! Upon entrance, there's an order kiosk located to the right. Staff was friendly and service was quick. The waiting area is pretty slim and small, but thankfully there was one other person ahead of me since we both got in 20 mins before closing. Located in the outlets plaza, plenty of parking. The interior of the place is pretty small & can get really crowded with customers waiting for their drink, they have an extra pick up window leading to the outside if you don't want to wait inside. They have speciality drinks but doesn't list what's in them so you would need to ask the workers what's inside, I wish they list out the ingredients on the menu to indicate what's in it. 4/5 The drink I got was Cupid's Arrow with boba. I like it, it's a creamy strawberry milky drink that comes with strawberry chunks. The strawberry chunks I've gotten in my drink were sweet but still frozen. The drink comes in their specialty cups which makes the drink look really pretty. read more
