If you're shopping at the Vacaville Outlets, this is the perfect spot to grab a quick bite and some yummy boba tea drinks! It's an actual store rather than the typical food trucks or carts that they have here. It's right next to West Elm outlets, Levi's, Crate & Barrel.. that side. They have a few outdoor tables and benches to sit on. Inside is small, no tables. You just place your order and wait outside, they have a pick up window. They have a pretty good system and set up. The staff here is very friendly and also fast with service! Didn't have to wait very long at all. Best of all...they have PUP CUPS!!!! So you can have a treat and get one for your dog as well. Stopped by here while my husband was shopping and had a hard time deciding what I wanted from the extensive menu! I finally narrowed it down to the black flame milk tea which is a black sugar milk tea with creme brulee on top. It was delicious! I was worried about not adjusting my sweetness but it actually was just right for me at the regular level. Next time I want to try a topping with my drink! I saw that some drinks come in cute jars and I'd love to order one of those next time. My husband's black sesame coffee was also delicious! Apparently the black sesame cream is made in house and it was a perfect ratio. My only downside about this spot was the size - there is nowhere to sit inside and it was so crowded just waiting for drinks in there too! But otherwise it's smart to have this takeout type place here in the Outlets so that you can grab your drink while you shop and walk around! Service was okay, there were about 5 people all working but still seemed like it was taking a while considering how many people were working. I was just here yesterday night and that was my first time coming here. When you order drinks, you're allowed to make adjustments to the sweetness, which is what I did. Came here solely to get one of the cute glass cups that some of the special drinks come in and was hugely disappointed. Both my partner and I ordered drinks that looked like they should've come with the glass cups but to our surprise we did not receive them with no explanation. The drinks themselves were okay, I got the Cupid's Arrow which was very sweet and tasted just like strawberry milk. We also got fries which was 6 dollars just for them to come out very stringy, crunchy, and hollow. The first time we ordered the fries they brought out rice instead. A little funny misunderstanding. Back with an update two years later... Tea Dojo Cafe is under new ownership and wow! The owners, Michelle and John (or Jon, sorry!) have made delicious changes to Tea Dojo Cafe! They kept a lot of the first owner's menu but added a lot more food and a few changes to the drink recipes. One change is using Ceremonial Matcha instead of Traditional Matcha, and trust me, the quality of Matcha they use tastes pretty top notch! Some food I def rec trying are their Curry Chicken Popcorn Bento, Savory Soy Wings, Chick-charron, Tater Tots Dojo Style. Everything the prepare is made in house. Their Calamari is fresh and hand-cut by Michelle herself! And you can taste the quality of their calamari, too! It's so yummy; esp with the sweet chili sauce! The Savory Soy Wings is similar to a Soy flavored Korean Fried Chicken. It's crisp and marinated perfectly. This one is probably # 1 for me! For the drinks, I really enjoyed the Matcha Strawberry Latte! The strawberry puree they use, in any of their strawberry drinks, is also made in-house! To order, they have an ordering kiosk which is user friendly and pretty straight forward. Or you can order through a human. They also have a pick up window after placing your order because there are no seats or tables inside Tea Dojo Cafe. Staff was friendly and we got our food/ drinks in a timely matter. I love this is this that tried to continue to be better and appreciate feedback whether it's good or bad. We'll try this again in the future. Looking for a good matcha place in Vacaville and found this on Yelp. There was one family in front of me in line and after they placed their order, the woman said to me to wait until they finished making the family's order. I said okay... even though I found it odd that there was another worker there also making drinks. Waited another five minutes and she finally took my order. The menu says ceremonial Matcha tea. I don't believe it. I think it's Costco Matcha tea that they use. Their oat milk is also from Costco.. I was excited to read that it's fresh fruit, but my strawberry in the strawberry Matcha latte was frozen. They also added a syrup to the drink, which made it artificial. Despite ordering 50% sweet, it was still really sweet and had big strawberry chunks at the bottom of my drink. I also wanna comment on how inefficient the store is. Every time in order is placed, they have to take the fruit out of the fridge, open the container, scoop out the fruit and then put everything back. If they had taken my order right after the families's order before me, they could've made five drinks all at once. Instead, they had to follow that process just to get the fruit in the bottom of the cup, bring it to another station to blend it, bring it to another station to add the milk, bring it to another station to add Matcha, and then bring it to another station to put the lid on. I can't imagine how long drinks take to come out when it's a busy day. I think this place is fine if you're walking around the outlets and need a cold drink. But definitely not something to go to if you're a Matcha connoisseur. read more

This used to be my favorite boba spot. I was coming here about three times a week. But after the last two visits, I'm really disappointed. Yesterday, I had one of the worst experiences. I waited about 25-30 minutes for a single drink, and no one ever called my order. I usually don't like to complain, but I was getting frustrated since I ended up being late to work, even though I had given them plenty of time. When I asked about my drink, the employee told me, "we already took all the orders out." I had to explain that I had ordered and never received mine. He seemed confused, even though he was the one who took my order. Eventually, they made it and gave it to me, but the whole situation felt very unorganized. The drink also didn't taste right, like it may have been sitting out for a while. Today, I came back hoping for a better experience, but it wasn't any better. The same employee was there. he took someone else's order ahead of me, and when I waited, he said it would be another 15 minutes before he could even take my order. My fiancé and I were at the Vacaville premium outlets and came across teadojo cafe, which is a small boba shop located in a corner within the shopping outlet. We met the owners, Michelle and Jon and they were both so welcoming and friendly! We learned that they took over Teadojo within the last year and changed up the menu to their specific likings. We've been here before, and we noticed that their food menu is a lot larger with a good amount of Filipino/Asian inspired flavors. We ordered the chick charron, curry chicken popcorn bento, savory soy wings, and calamari. Every single item tasted amazing and fresh. We learned that their calamari is hand cut in house and their fried chicken skins are fresh from their supplier. The soil wings had the perfect crunch and texture and what I liked was that they only serve only flats which is my go to order when I order chicken wings. For our drinks, we ordered the strawberry Matcha latte and Thai tea. We learned that the matcha they use is ceremonial matcha, which tasted a lot fresher bolder than your traditional matcha from a grocery store. Their strawberry purée is homemade and you can definitely taste the authenticity of it. The restaurant itself does not have any indoor seating but there are benches located right outside. Regardless, this is a perfect place to enjoy small eats and drinks while shopping around to the outlets or take home for a light snack. Parking is not an issue at all, as I said before ifs located in the corner of a large shopping area. We will definitely be back when we're in the area to try more of their other foods and drinks. The boba was made to perfection - soft yet chewy! The drink itself was everything I wanted - sweet, creamy, refreshing, and hearty. I love that Tea Dojo have so many options to customize from sweetness level, ice, cup sizing/split, and my must have - milk alternatives since I'm lactose intolerant. My bf and I went to the Vacaville outlets after a long time and found this cute boba shop in the area. The interior was nice and clean, though the location is more prioritized on takeout and catering. The bobarista was very friendly and helped guide us through the menu and answer our questions. We ended up getting two drinks - the black milk tea and the matcha latte. The black milk tea felt very standard and classic. It was exactly what you expect - in a nice, familiar sense. The tea flavor came through and was perfect for us at half sweet. We added boba, which had the right texture but wish it was a tad bit sweeter like other honey boba I've had in the past. Can't complain ! The matcha latte came in a sizeable 24 oz jar. While the drink wasn't as creamy as I expected, the matcha flavor really comes through. Quality matcha that was vegetal and quite bitter. I got it at 50% sugar and liked it, but would not suggest going lower. I think regular or 75 is ideal for most.
