A cute boba spot in the Vacaville Outlets. I was first drawn to the cups, and they have a small and regular size. I love the menu of signature drinks and decided on the Coco lava which was tasty. The staff were very kind and helpful. Even though the shop isn't that big inside, there are tables, chairs and a pick up window for outside, which is great. Great spot to get a sweet drink while shopping.
Holy moly... Just get the **Lychee Blossom Milk Tea**, and thank me later. I had it 50% sweetness and it was perfect. Actually if I could do 30% sweetness it would have been extra perfect. Had lychee jelly + lychee fruit pieces in there. Close to heaven. Non dairy creamer for the win too.
Came here on a whim and it initially had nobody inside so we thought, it's not busy, however the wait time to order our drinks was about 25-30 mins. Apparently, you order your drink inside and then people often wait outside so that's why it appeared empty. The matcha drinks are decent, they have different levels of sweetness and a lot of toppings you can select to add along with different milk options which is cool. They use ceremonial grade matcha which I love. The drinks are pretty sweet and we got the regular sweetness level so just keep that in mind if you don't like sweet drinks. Once you order, the wait time to actually get your drinks isn't that bad. I think they just need more help to be honest. But the two ladies working were friendly and greeted us as we walked in. If you're not in a rush, stop in and give them a try. The matcha drinks come in these really cute reusable cups :)
Stopped by here while my husband was shopping and had a hard time deciding what I wanted from the extensive menu! I finally narrowed it down to the black flame milk tea which is a black sugar milk tea with creme brulee on top. It was delicious! I was worried about not adjusting my sweetness but it actually was just right for me at the regular level. Next time I want to try a topping with my drink! I saw that some drinks come in cute jars and I'd love to order one of those next time. My husband's black sesame coffee was also delicious! Apparently the black sesame cream is made in house and it was a perfect ratio. My only downside about this spot was the size - there is nowhere to sit inside and it was so crowded just waiting for drinks in there too! But otherwise it's smart to have this takeout type place here in the Outlets so that you can grab your drink while you shop and walk around! Service was okay, there were about 5 people all working but still seemed like it was taking a while considering how many people were working. Also it would be nice if someone could just say "we'll be with you in a minute" since I stood there waiting in front of the register for a solid few minutes - and it can be confusing who is waiting to order or already ordered due to the size of the space.
I was just here yesterday night and that was my first time coming here. When you order drinks, you're allowed to make adjustments to the sweetness, which is what I did. I got a Taro smoothie with 50% sweetness. The jar that it came in is super cute. I also did get popcorn chicken with sweet chili. Overall, I would come back here again. The workers are very friendly too :)
First time trying this place, the food was delicious, drinks were really good. Person taking our order was very friendly, patient and our order was out pretty quick. Didn't take photos of it, but we also ordered the popcorn chicken sinigang style w/dojo sauce on the side, pork chop katsu bento, both were super tasty!! We will be coming back for sure.
If you're shopping at the Vacaville Outlets, this is the perfect spot to grab a quick bite and some yummy boba tea drinks! It's an actual store rather than the typical food trucks or carts that they have here. It's right next to West Elm outlets, Levi's, Crate & Barrel.. that side. They have a few outdoor tables and benches to sit on. Inside is small, no tables. You just place your order and wait outside, they have a pick up window. They have a pretty good system and set up. The staff here is very friendly and also fast with service! Didn't have to wait very long at all. Best of all...they have PUP CUPS!!!! So you can have a treat and get one for your dog as well. I was pleasantly surprised that they have Filipino flavors here as well! They have lumpia Shanghai, chicken skins (get this, and get this with their sinigang seasoning!!!), and Lechon kawali! They even have a few rice plates! Everything we tried was really good. Came here with my family and there was something to satisfy everyone's cravings and taste buds! Definitely recommending !
Relatively fast to order, but there was a line. Boba was worth it. Got a green tea lychee (0% extra sweetness) and taro milk tea (50% sweetness). Both were great. There are three tables outside to sit, so that's what we did and enjoyed the boba.
Hole in the wall Mom & Pop shop in Vacaville, run by a married couple inspired by their trip to Japan to provide authentic matcha and yummy treats back home. With ceremonial matcha sourced from a small town in Japan, fresh fruit syrups, and homemade recipes I have a lot of respect for this place. Since it was my first time here, they helped me choose which thing to order. We settled on the strawberry matcha to meet the best of both worlds for fruity/ refreshing & a slow-sip treat. I didn't get boba this time, but learned that it's made fresh daily! I would recommend stopping by to meet kind people, hear their story, and get a pick-me-up tea or snack! Tea Dojo Vacaville (located next to West Elm Outlet) is hands down one of the coolest small businesses we've visited! The owners are such a humble and kind couple -- you can really feel the good vibes when you walk in. The onion rings are SO crunchy! The wings are juicy and flavorful. The chicken popcorn is a must -- sinigang is the best Salt & pepper has a nice kick, and the Dojo flavor is solid too. The lechon kawali with their shoyu sauce is sooo good (not pictured but we had it earlier). The drinks and food are bomb, and their boba is made fresh every single morning. Definitely worth checking out and supporting local!
My partner told me about this place she use to come to when she worked in the outlets for a good price, since we happened to be in the area we decided to give it a try for a quick bite. We got a full order of popcorn chicken with a half order of fries and two drinks the DOJO-O and the Passion Fruit Mango Tea with Mango popping pearls The service from the woman up front was amazing , she gave us time to look over the menu and didn't rush us at all. She answered any questions I had and even gave me some recommendations on what to order for a drink! will definitely come back to try the strawberry tea refresher they have! It wasn't busy so we were able to find a seat right in the front of the business!

I have one thing to say about Tea Dojo As we say back in Hawaii, " Broke Da Mouth" onolicious. Oh my gosh so so so good. The fried chicken skin which the call "Chick-Charon" was so crispy and not one bit oily. So light and it comes with vinegar sauce. I could talk all day about their amazing Popcorn Chicken. The best tasting Popcorn Chicken on the planet. This is Dojo Style. The ONLY way to order this. So flavorful. Trust me on this recommendation...you won't be disappointed. The drinks are so fresh and tasty. Im telling you people, you have to come and try Tea Dojo for yourself. The ladies were very friendly helpful as it was our first time there since moving to Cali. I initially was going to order my own popcorn chicken, but she suggested that we just go with the one order that my daughter ordered because it is a lot of chicken and I go ahead and order the chicken-Charon. She was right, it was a lot of chicken. The drinks like I said are light and flavorful. I always opt for coconut milk or almond milk in my drinks, but this time I decided to go with coconut milk and it really gave it a refreshing twist. It comes in the cutest cups that we didn't know we would be receiving our beverages in. That was a PLUS UP! The place is built big enough to order and prepare of food and beverages. Was in town and craving boba so a friend recommended Tea Dojo. I tried the Stormy Purple Cloud with boba and it was delicious! Hit the sweet spot for the evening! The boba was made to perfection - soft yet chewy! The drink itself was everything I wanted - sweet, creamy, refreshing, and hearty. I love that Tea Dojo have so many options to customize from sweetness level, ice, cup sizing/split, and my must have - milk alternatives since I'm lactose intolerant. I also tried the popcorn chicken as highly suggested. That did not disappoint as well! Upon entrance, there's an order kiosk located to the right. Staff was friendly and service was quick. This place is pretty overpriced but it's the only boba option at the outlets. You can order online if you don't want to wait. The strawberry matcha had strawberry chunks at the bottom. I wasn't too big of a fan but that could just be personal preference since I'm used to it being a puree. Toppings are not included and boba for $1.00 is pretty pricey. They asked if I wanted to change the milk option and I opted for oat milk. They didn't tell me it was $1.00 extra to substitute milk either. Had I known, I wouldn't have gotten it. The drink itself came out to be almost $9.00. It came in a big bottle, which was plastic and is gimmicky in my opinion. read more

I'm not from around the area. But when I tell you this place was 20 mins away from my hotel, it was very much worth it! I ordered the Strawberry Lychee fruit tea with boba! And let me just say! This drink was the best! Even the boba was super soft (which is rare) and the flavor was the BEST! the service was great. I was able to meet the owner and she is so sweet! My bf and I went to the Vacaville outlets after a long time and found this cute boba shop in the area. The interior was nice and clean, though the location is more prioritized on takeout and catering. The bobarista was very friendly and helped guide us through the menu and answer our questions. We ended up getting two drinks - the black milk tea and the matcha latte. The black milk tea felt very standard and classic. It was exactly what you expect - in a nice, familiar sense. The tea flavor came through and was perfect for us at half sweet. We added boba, which had the right texture but wish it was a tad bit sweeter like other honey boba I've had in the past. Can't complain ! The matcha latte came in a sizeable 24 oz jar. While the drink wasn't as creamy as I expected, the matcha flavor really comes through. Quality matcha that was vegetal and quite bitter. I got it at 50% sugar and liked it, but would not suggest going lower. I think regular or 75 is ideal for most. I could imagine more water be added to prepare the matcha, as it was a tad grainy. Still felt like great value and an excellent mid-day pick-me-up. tea dojo is located at the vacaville premium outlets aka "nut tree" outlets...walking inside and finding two staff making drinks...no line, but a long wait to place an order...seems like each staff will finish making some orders before they take the next....after what seemed to be lengthy wait, finally at the counter to place an order for a taro milk $6 with popping lychee pearls $0.75 extra...$7.30 after tax and credit card surcharge...told to go outside and wait...small side window where names are called out when the drink is ready...it ended up being a long wait for the drink also...the drink was okay and popping lychee pearls were soft and good, but the wait was just too long on a quiet day... read more

TL;DR The first batch of drinks were way too sweet. The second batch came bland. No hard feelings, just unfortunately disappointed. This milk tea place is situated in the corner of the Vacaville Outlet plaza. I came here to see if this was a good milk tea place to go to. It's a small shop; no seating. There's a nice selection of drinks and specialty drinks to choose. The big bottle drinks are only for specialty drinks. The other selections come in the regular cups. I ordered a Dirty Matcha Latte and a Matcha smoothie. The Dirty Matcha Latte I ordered at 75% sweetness and with egg pudding. The Matcha smoothie came at 50%. When the drinks were made, they came extra sweet. The Dirty Matcha Latte tasted more like 125% sweetness. And the same goes for the Matcha smoothie that tasted like 100%. I went back to let the staff know that the drinks were too sweet. They happily told us to keep the ones they mistakenly made and will make new ones. Unfortunately, the second batch came too bland and had the matcha powder in chunks. I had hopes that even after the new ones it would be a good place to go. However, I left disappointed. Three words: Savory Soy Wings. Man, those things are so juicy and flavorful. It is my favorite thing on the menu right now! We usually get the popcorn chicken and fries (which I love!) and they usually come out super fresh. My kids enjoy the oreo milkshake and thai tea with boba. My fave drink is the black sugar flame milk tea with boba because I love creme brulee! On busy days, it can get crowded inside when ordering but they have a window outside to help with traffic. And you might have to wait for your order a bit, but it's totally worth it. Super friendly staff. Clean on the inside. Easy to get to. 10/10 recommend! read more

What a delightful surprise!! My second visit here and I'm in love with their strawberry matcha latte. I did a pick up order on doordash and it was ready in time as promised....AND you don't even have to walk in. There is wide window for pick up. Awesome! It's a small shop with some seating outside. Located right next to the West Elm outlet and across from Zumiez and Rue21. Plenty of parking and if you need a bathroom stop, there is one around the corner. I'd definitely come back and try other drinks (if I get off my current SML (strawberry matcha latte) addiction. read more

The place is actually huge. It looks like a food lab which signifies cleanliness and yumminess. You can order from inside and there's a cute window outside where you can pick up your drinks and food. The bottle/drink container is so cute, sturdy and easy to insert the straw with. I got Thai iced milk tea (they didn't have the boba pearls late that afternoon so I chose lychee as toppings), crispy french fries and crispy calamari. All of them taste sooo yummy and tasty. Very sweet couple behind the counter and they're the owners! Loved that they were so helpful when it came to ordering, especially since it was our first time here. I said I wanted something refreshing and she made the perfect recommendation and even warned to adjust the sweetness in case I didn't want it too sweet. This place was in the Vacaville Outlets! It's located near the West Elm Outlet. Very convenient for boba cravings or a bite to eat when doing some shopping! I ordered the Red Catnip (which is "Premium Red Thai Tea with Milk") with boba, and the Curry Cutlet Pork Chop Rice. The Red Catnip was good Thai tea; just the right sweetness that I like; not watered down. The boba was soft, chewy, and good. Not disappointed at all! I also thought it was cool that it came in a plastic jar/mason with their logo on it! It's definitely reusable and it's a great way to get their name out there! The Curry Cutlet Pork Chop Rice was good overall! The pork chop had a nice, crisp batter on outside, and the pork itself was not dry nor overcooked. The curry sauce/gravy was good; it's like the Japanese curry. The rice was good - not over cooked nor undercooked. The only thing I wasn't too fond of was the shredded cabbage. We were recently in Japan and discovered fried crab sticks. For some reason, that dish never crossed our minds before. Now that we're back from Japan and have tasted such an amazing snack, we also noticed this item on the snack menu at Tea Dojo in Vacaville, CA they also have quite an assortment of juice, smoothies, tea, and snacks. Unfortunately they ran out of chicken so I'll have to be back for the popcorn chicken! I also love their reusable boba cups! I didn't see any but they should sell reusable boba straws so the cups can be reused at home! read more

Ah yes, another boba shop has established themselves in Vacaville. Tea dojo is located on the quieter side of the Outlets. Honestly, thank goodness it's not on the busier side because parking would be a bit challenging on the weekends! Dojo is right next to West Elm and there's plenty of parking over there. Their menu is quite simple with about 10 drinks and they have a few snacks to choose from. I've been here 3x in a span of 3 weeks. I was intrigued by their flavaflavs. Catnip thai latte? Meojito?? Citrus Thai Green??? Such unique. A few of their drinks come in a reusable cup with a metal lid and others come in a standard durable plastic cup. I initially tried their Catnip thai latte, mainly due to the name. Is there really catnip in there? Nah. It did have a unique milky tea flavor with a splash of floral. It was nothing like I've tried before. A week later I tried the oolong latte with plant-based milk. I wasn't a fan of it, it had a weird after taste, which maybe was due to the plant-based milk they used. It overpowered the flavor of the oolong...well honestly, I didnt taste any oolong at all. The week after I went with one of their top 3 drinks, the dojo-o. It was orange refresher tea with a splash of rosemary. The tea was very noticeable and there was muddled oranges at the bottom of the cup, with 2 orange slices on the sides. It was so refreshing, flavorful and delicious. It was a memorable drink. From best to blah: Dojo-o, Catnip Thai latte, Oolong latte. The prices are decent for Vacaville. The drinks range from 5.25 to 6.25 and they have one size for each drink. The Dojo-o and Catnip came in the clear bottle and it held quite a lot of liquid. Toppings were quite expensive at about .75 to $1. The boba balls were $1! That's more expensive than places in SF! Anyways, I was feelin' like a baller and added boba to my catnip and oolong latte. The boba consistency was good and bouncy. I believe they are no options to adjust sweetness and ice level. And it's apparent they a drink cannot be remade or changed if you don't fancy your drink, which is a weird rule. I feel like most places will remake a drink if you're not satisfied. The layout of the shop is quite tight and small. They have one table inside that makes the walkway narrow so only one person can pass through to order at the counter at a time. They have outdoor seating and tables as well as a pick up window next to the soda machines. Overall, good boba spot in Vacaville. The menu is different from other boba shops. I'd like to try the mango matcha and the citrus thai green next. If I don't get tired of their dojo-o, which I highly recommend if you like fruit teas. Uggh, I want one now... Anyways, try them out after you shop 'til you drop at the outlets. read more

A new boba spot located in the Vacaville Outlets. Their menu is limited but they do have the usual snacks you find at boba shops like popcorn chicken, calamari, fries, etc. Their drink cups and names are cat themed which I thought was pretty cute. I ordered the Meojito and my boyfriend ordered the Green Catnip Latte. We also got the Dojo Chicken. My boyfriend enjoyed his drink but mine was so-so. My Meojito had somewhat flat carbonated water with lychee, lime, etc. I asked for 50% sugar but it was still too sweet. The portion size for the dojo chicken seemed small and in my opinion not worth the price. It was about $7.50 for the chicken. Since this location opened recently, I'm willing to try them another time in the future. Hopefully there will be improvement. read more

I'm in Vacaville this Friday Afternoon. I know what a Karate Dojo is. This is not a Karate Dojo. This is a Tea Dojo. That's an interesting name. They have something on the menu that I like. The Stormy Purple Cloud. And I had to get some Takoyaki, I haven't had that in a long time. The secret to Takoyaki, is the Octopus. These were also one of the best Takoyaki I ever had. Savory, crunchy, slightly sweet, somewhat creamy, packed with flavor, and Umami. And the Milk Tea tasted slightly exotic, complimented it very well. I can't believe I haven't tried this place yet! Great service and really good tea quality. My bf's matcha red bean smoothie was VERY matcha forward and not too sweet. I got the green thai tea which is more floral than the red and hard to come by. Both drinks were great and the portions were pretty big. The location is in the Vacaville outlets plaza on the side across from Nike. No where to sit inside so if you're planning to hang out know you'll be outside. read more
Vacaville doesn't have many boba options but so glad tea dojo opened up! Sometimes when a new place opens up and there aren't too many reviews we tend not to check it out quite yet. We were in the area shopping and we thought the logo and decor was super cute. Cute little boba spot right next to the west elm outlet. They actually had a pretty decent selection. I went with the watermelon green tea and hubby got a strawberry matcha latte! The watermelon green tea was super refreshing and not too sweet, didnt have a super strong tea flavor but it was still pretty good. The lychee jelly made it a bit too sweet , will def get this again without toppings! The strawberry matcha was almost like boba guys! We did enjoy the fact that you can reduce the sugar , but everything from the strawberry purée to the matcha was very similar to boba guys!
