My cashier noticed me ordering the milk alternative and was quick to inform me that the cold foam was not dairy free and still has heavy cream and half and half. I was glad she told me and ordered it anyways! I was instantly impressed by the refreshing and tropical banana taste! I have come back several times to get one since my first sip, told all my friends about it and picked one up for my friend to bring it to her! I do love coffee and lattes especially but I find that enjoys lattes feel a little watered down. They usually come out milk heavy on the taste which sadly flushes out the espresso taste in my drink. The lack of balance in the latte isn't my favorite and I do wish some improvements could be made to the drink ratios to help the coffee taste better in the end result. I still come here but if I want a good coffee, this place isn't my first choice in town. The ambiance is fun and colorful, they have a play area outside for kids to enjoy and I always see parents there with their kids on Saturdays. The staff is also very chill and nice! There is a lot of outdoor seating that is very nice to sit and hang out.

The space is surprisingly large, with plenty of smaller tables for solo work and a lounge area with long tables and sofas if you want to spread out. It's located inside The Father's House, so be respectful of the environment, but the people here are wonderful and the overall vibe is calm, uplifting, and grounding. It is a really lovely way to begin the day. I also love the clean white walls and all the plants used as décor. It's such a bright, happy space that it honestly makes me smile.

We started with a Cuban café with condensed milk, and it was incredible. For food, she ordered the chilaquiles and I ordered the ropa vieja plate, and we also added an order of papa rellenas to share. The chilaquiles were easily the star of the show. The chips were perfectly coated in sauce without being soggy, and the sauce itself had a really unique flavor compared to the traditional chilaquiles I'm used to. The ropa vieja was just as impressive. The shredded beef was incredibly tender and flavorful, clearly slow-cooked because it just fell apart with each bite. The seasoning was spot on -- savory, slightly tomatoey, and really comforting. It came with black beans and rice, and even though I'm usually not a big fan of black beans, these were excellent.
