The drink tasted very milky rather than having that strong tea flavor or even the balanced ratio of tea to milk. So if you like the stronger tea flavor, then this would not be the place for you. Even though it was a jasmine milk tea, the drink did not taste very floral, instead it was nutty and creamy. The boba was nice, soft, and chewy, a tad bit overcooked, however, still tasty. Gotta give this place 5 stars for exceptional customer service. This was my first time coming into this Milk Tea Lab and wasn't sure what I'd expect. I've been to numerous tea shops and boba shops so j wasn't expecting anything out of the ordinary. There were 3 patrons before me waiting for their order and as I stepped in the gentleman at the counter communicated that he'd be right with me. He assisted one other person make drinks and as soon as he made sure the other patrons were taken care of he proceeded to take my order. He was extremely informative and suggested a few things. He gave me a few options and I placed my order. I don't like my drinks too sweet so i requested 25% sweetness. As he was making my drink, he offered to have me sample the drink so far to make sure it was to my liking. He also informed me that he could always make it sweeter but not less at that point. It was perfect. My popcorn chicken came out quickly too. My wait was less than 7 minutes after I placed my order and the chicken was piping hot. I always appreciate when communication is done early to set expectations. The gentleman at the counter was polite and knowledgeable and an excellent communicator. I don't recall there being a sign posted for the maximum ppl allowed at any given time but as we waited for our order, the girls working there would tell people in line to step outside if there were too many ppl inside in line. The cashier was friendly and the other employee working quickly and efficiently made my drink. I was debating between their roasted milk tea w/ grass jelly and their jasmine milk tea with honey boba. I ended up getting their jasmine MT w/ honey boba. The jasmine tea has the nice floral taste it should have and the boba was cooked right. I was able to adjust the sweetness level of my drink so I asked for light sweet. It satisfied my cravings so I see myself coming back to try their roasted MT. I've been more in a fruity mood lately so I've really enjoyed the mango lover drink from here and some other fruit teas. The mango lover is more of a mango slush with popping mango boba. It's really refreshing on a hot day. I also have tried the jasmine milk tea, at times it's a bit inconsistent sometimes it's too sweet and other times the tea is not strong enough. But overall, majority of the time it's been decent. The popcorn chicken is also decent. It's got big juicy chunks of chicken thigh that's perfectly seasoned and perfectly fried. Dropped by and ordered the organic Jasmine milk tea. I've read other people complain about their drinks tasting watered down and I definitely noticed a difference. I heard all their drinks are dairy free, which definitely affects the richness of the drink. I didn't see it advertised as so and it's a little misleading. The flavor of the Jasmine is actually really good. The boba is on the softer and chewier side which I don't like. There were a bunch of people here so service was quite slow. Located right next to the Asian Super market in Vacaville. I personally think this is the most authentic milk tea/boba shop in Vacaville. They have less drink options compared to the other boba places in town because they use more authentic ingredients, not the sugary, powder crap. They have a good variety of toppings to choose from. I like that you can adjust sugar levels here. I tried their Honey Roasted Milk tea with no added sugar + coffee jelly. It was creamy and refreshing, not too sweet at all. Minus one star cause I wish there was a little more tea flavor. The large size surprised me. It's JUMBO size. I think their regular is the typical large size seen everywhere else. Something cool that I didn't try cause I wasn't hungry is their automatic ramen station. See my picture for details. It's a touch screen that gives you I think 8 ramen flavors to choose from. Apparently it only takes the machine 45 seconds to make it, which made me concerned that it's probably made from pre-packaged instant noodle with pre-made broth instead of the traditional hand-made ramen. But.... this is a boba shop after all, not an authentic Japanese restaurant,so yes, can't compare. I still think it's a cool idea though and good for a quick ramen fix for those on the go. Yes another boba place in the area! It's located right next to County Square Market and it's a small shop right at the edge of the plaza. It's really vibrant inside with bright lights and light blue walls. They even have games like Jenga, so it's a good place to hang out in groups. However, I'm honestly not sure about this place yet. I usually judge a new place by their jasmine milk tea, and I was kind of disappointed with this one. I've already been here twice but on both occasions, both of my drinks were really watered down/did not taste like milk tea at all even with light ice and regular sweetness. We saw Milk Tea Lab on our drive to Costco to get gas. We stopped by here and got a Large Boba Crush (Regular Milk Tea with two different kind of Bobas) It cost less that $6 with tax. The large cup that they had was the largest I've seen from all other Boba places I've been. I wish I lived closer so I can try other flavors like the Ube. We decided to take a drive to Vacaville because I wanted to stop by 2 furniture stores. Then found out that Milk Tea Lab is also located in Vacaville. Stopped by to order our faves... Mango Milk Tea. It may have been around 330p and they were already out of boba. Although I don't order boba or any other toppings with my mango milk tea, I do believe a popular boba place on a very hot Saturday afternoon should have been more prepared to have boba available at least until an hour before they close. Other than that, my mango milk tea was perfectly tasty ...0% sugar and less ice!! They had 3 employees working that day and only 1 other customer ahead of me. It took longer than it should have for 3 drinks. I will hopefully visit them again when I'm back in Vacaville and see if service and available products are better in stock. Was excited to try out this place since I had been to the milk tea lab in Pleasant Hill. The first time I came here (in the beginning when milk tea lab had just opened), I spotted a small cockroach and immediately notified the cashier so they might've fixed their bug problem. I assume it was because it is right next to a supermarket, and it used to be an empty storage space before turning into a boba shop. I just recently noticed that their health score on Yelp is very low, so try this place at your own risk! There's not that many boba options in Vacaville, and milk tea lab is located in a convenient place since I can get it after going grocery shopping. I have tried a few drinks, but they were mediocre at best. Kumquat Green Tea - tasted more like orange green tea and was very watered down Oolong Milk Tea w/ Boba - very watered down, basically was just water and no tea flavor. My bf said he would not be back. He said for a very basic drink, they couldn't get the job done. Cupid Tonic - good if you like soda, very fizzy, I enjoyed the blue heart jelly topping that came with it Matchata - I've tried this twice, and both experiences were different. The first time was good as it was blended well, while the second time there were still icy bites in my drink which made it seemed very rushed since they were busy. Both times they had ran out of red bean toppings, which I don't mind since I don't like it. But just a heads up for people that do! Popcorn Chicken - I actually really like their popcorn chicken. It was very crunchy and the spice added a little kick. Would definitely try this again! As for customer service, it is either a hit or miss. I did get good service a few times, except during my most recent visit, my drinks were already finished and on the counter ready to be picked up. None of the workers had called my number. It wasn't until I went up to the counter and then one of them asked me if they were my drinks. I get that they were busy, but it only takes a second to call out my number. Gotta start out with the customer service for milk tea lab- five stars. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and has been every visit. The boba is well cooked and the milk tea is decent. This is the first boba I ever tried and I was hooked on it. The roasted milk tea is my current favorite but I've tried most of their drinks and never found one I didn't at least partially like. The inside of the store is nothing noteworthy- there's decent seating for while you wait for your order. Nothing I'd write home about. It's closeness to County Square Market is also a major win! So excited to have a Milk Tea Lab in town! I discovered this place in Concord a few weeks ago and was craving the Cupid Tonic (fizzy blue lychee drink) and now I can finally get one without having to drive too far. Located right next door to County Square Market, this new boba spot is the place to be. Drinks can be found on the periodic table (yes, that's not a typo) and they have a few specialty drinks on the board like the Alien Tonic, Cupid Tonic, Mango smoothie, Matcha smoothie, etc. I just tried the mango smoothie earlier today and it was rich and creamy with fresh mango chunks on the bottom. My favorite is still the Cupid Tonic, but I'll definitely be trying out all of the milk tea flavors soon. If you're hungry, they have a variety of snacks (typical fried food that goes well with boba) and wait for it... there's a ramen vending machine coming soon!
