I've been coming here for a decade and their quality has only improved. The cafe is now larger and…read morea little more modern but they still left a touch of the aviation theme that started their journey. There is now a Tesla Supercharger so navigate to that instead of the cafe so that your Tesla preconditions while you enjoy your morning. They no longer support their own app and have turned the keys over to Square to create an account to make it easier to pay and reorder. The ready times you get in the app are later than it's usually ready so I recommend giving them 10-20 minutes lead time. Here's my rating of the variety of foods and drinks I've tried. Undertow - 8 - Fun twist on a cortado as the half and half is cold and they add a splash of vanilla. The hot espresso is carefully floated on top of the milk so that when you drink you feel the cold "underflow" of vanilla milk. Cortado- 8 - Small but powerful sip of espresso. I prefer it with half and half and a touch of sugar over Journey's method but it is a tasty sip. Lavender Latte - -10 - the best version of a lavender latte you'll ever have. Cherry Blossom Latte - 9 - The cherry syrup is very forward but blends nicely into the latte which gives it light finish. The coffee does get a touch lost so add an extra shot. Citrus Cocoa Latte - 9 - The orange syrup is prevalent throughout the drink but the cocoa starts to stand up more the last half of the drink. I don't prefer chocolate drinks but this doesn't taste like a mocha at all. Very well done Journey!!! Veggie n Egg Breakfast Wrap - 7 - Light and flavorful but needs some pop from another ingredient. I recommend using the Tapatio hit sauce to elevate it above our 7 rating for those that want some pop of flavor and can handle spice. Breakfast Hand Pie - 6 - The pastry wasn't crispy but it did have some crispy seeds on it to save the texture, a bit gummy for my liking. The filling was also creamy with more cheese than needed (and I love cheese). Although good, I wouldn't get it again because the flavor of the filling fell flat. First Class Wrap - 10 - If you can handle spice, the chipotle sauce is amazing amidst the variety of ingredients. This is my go-to and everybody I introduce it to gets it as well. Every business partner I've introduced this right off the freeway coffee stop has loved and kept as their own. It's a no brainer if you're headed down I-80.

I'm not a coffee drinker; thus, have put off for years going to this hidden gem in Vallejo. I…read morefinally went with a friend to try their coffee tastings and wasn't disappointed at all. After that initial visit, I have brought family and friends here as well. Thiis s such a warm, cozy and welcoming place, good for community gatherings or just enjoying by your lonesome the quietly cool and comfortably casual vibe and relaxing covered or uncovered outdoor ambiance. Enjoy a live band playing relaxing music (I love chancing upon their new wave versions) while sipping free coffee chosen from their tastings coming from a wide variety of international flavors. Enjoy a crepe, a galette, or any other food from their menu. Staff ane service are friendly and welcoming. A great way to start one's Saturdays.

While there we saw they had breakfast items. I chose a savory crepe called a galette. It had chorizo and herbed cheese. Yummy! Then my husband wend in a got a lemon crepe. Also delicious. The young man behind the register suggested the chorizo crepe. Great choice! The young lady making these was very sweet and I had a nice conversation with her. There was two people playin music while we enjoyed the start of our day. Even if you are not a local, it's a place you must try if you are a coffee lover. Today's winner going home was their Sumatra. Oh and they will grind it for you.

Both times, my coffee has been strong and flavorful. The first time I went with a strawberry rose latte and the second time I went with a blueberry vanilla latte. I got a large for each and they lasted me through the afternoon. I have not had an issue with the ice to coffee ratio as well. They have some really cute pastries on display, but I have yet to try some. I love the vibrant interior! There are always students or Davis locals hanging around, working, or studying when I visit, and while the service sucks in that area, they offer WiFi. I've only gotten my coffee to go but from other reviews I've seen, the cups are super cute! There's even a nice list of food offerings ranging from light bites to sandwiches. World Traveler is one of my favorite chains in the area and I'll definitely be back whenever I need my caffeine fix.

My husband ordered the Mexican mocha, and this one really missed the mark. He's had Mexican mochas from other coffee shops before, but this one was overwhelmingly dominated by the Mexican chocolate flavor, making it basically undrinkable. Atmosphere The café itself is very clean, modern, and spacious. There was plenty of seating and a good number of students studying inside, which gave it a calm, productive vibe. It's definitely a nice space to hang out or get some work done. Service Service was great -- the cashier was friendly, and our drinks were made quickly. Overall While the drinks weren't what we hoped for, the interior and service were solid. We're unsure if we'd return for coffee specifically, but we would come back to try their breakfast options.

Also, the hojicha latte was perfect and the amount of sweetener was also perfect for me. I love that they let you customize it to your liking. I'm excited to come back and try their other drinks (although the hojicha was so good I also need it again)! And it's such a convenient location - right by UCD campus.

When I went on a rainy and windy Saturday afternoon there were tons of college students studying and it was quiet inside and pretty much all the seats were filled. Their menu had normal coffee drinks and lattes such as Americano, cappuccino, mocha, jasmine and earl grey tea. They also had unique drinks such as miso caramel latte, pandan latte, matcha pandan latte, matcha and hojicha. In addition, they had a spring seasonal menu and their current specials were a mango matcha drink and passion fruit espresso drink with tonic water. I ordered the hojicha latte with oat milk with light sweetener and light ice. They had options of whole milk, almond, or oat milk for milk. The cashier told me light ice meant there was going to be more oat milk. It was $5.80 which is cheaper than most cafes for hojicha however the quality wasn't as great as other cafes I've been to. The hojicha latte lacked flavor and tasted oily and didn't have the nutty flavor I'm used to but I still finished it. They usually have two bathrooms and they only had one available and sometimes you had to wait in a line for 20 min since there was so many people in the cafe which is inconvenient. Hopefully, they have the other bathroom fixed soon. Overall, it's a nice cafe with nice ambiance and some unique drink selections but I was not satisfied with the hojicha latte as there was no flavor. At least the prices are lower than other cafes. Maybe another drink would have been better.
