The fruit tart had a smooth, dense cream custard with a variety of fresh fruit on top. Portuguese egg custard tart had a sweet vanilla custard with caramelized top layer in a flaky puff pastry crust.

They have a taro version of this same roll that is also really good! A few of our other favorites include the guava cheese strudel, choco bun, sugared cream cheese brioche, cheese dog, and the spicy sausage bread. For drinks, we pretty much stick to any of their sea salt series. I'm bummed they don't sell oolong tea anymore, but I've just replaced that with a sea salt black tea which I think is part of their standard menu. Really convenient to have an 85 in Fairfield, so I can avoid going over the bridge to get some yummy pastries, and boba if I feel like it!

After trying it, I won't be ordering from anywhere else. Her tres leches is perfectly sweet and doesn't skimp on the milk! It is topped with whipped cream and strawberries. It comes in a 13x9 pan and is also available in individual shooters by the dozen. The strawberry pretzel surprise is sweet and salty, creamy and crunchy. The bottom layer is a crushed butter pretzel crust, then a layer of cool whip, sliced strawberries and topped with strawberry jell-o. Definitely as much as a crowd pleaser as the tres leches! I have used Instacart a couple times with no problem... the one time I placed an order through their app for pickup was less seamless. I placed my order on a Sunday with a time to pick up in the morning the following day. The app reminded me to pick up the cookies, but I was disappointed to learn that 2 of the flavors weren't yet available. I was told by one of the workers who I called over the phone that they would be ready by 4 in the afternoon. The flavors not in stock were 2 of the weekly drops, so I opted to wait until the afternoon. Although a little bit of a delay, not the end of the world, but it was a small hiccup. It seems they were not very prepared for the new drop. Asides from that issue, I have nothing but positive things to say. The store seemed pretty clean and the service was friendly. I'll be back next week for their new drop!

The pricing felt fair, and the person working behind the counter was very friendly. My only suggestion would be making it a little clearer that the bakery and coffee shop share the same space. Their Tres Leches has good components of a good Tres Leches: moist cake soaked in milk with a creamy whipped cream on top. However, the milk did not appear to be evenly absorbed across my portion of cake, as some sections remained without any milk. The cake also seemed to be the only thing ube flavored, so overall the ube flavor was lacking. The cake in general was yummy, but was not my favorite as an ube tres leches. Their desserts overall look great and their custom cakes are super cute! I hope to try other items in the future.

For the pan dulce, I tried both the cinnamon roll and the concha. Between the two, the concha was definitely my favorite. The cinnamon roll, unfortunately, was a bit tough--I tend to prefer cinnamon rolls that are more moist and decadent. Tres leches cake is one of my favorite desserts of all time, so I was especially excited to try theirs. Sadly, the slice I received was very dry and almost seemed stale. It lacked moisture entirely, and while the flavors were okay, nothing stood out or felt memorable. It honestly didn't resemble a traditional tres leches cake. Overall, this was a 2/5 experience for me.

He continued to speak Spanish to us every time he came by. He knows English though and we kinda wondered why he kept speaking in Spanish to us. Me and my cousin have mixed ethnicity so we kinda look Spanish but based on our tone in speaking you could tell we only know English.
