3 different orders as I waited.. still waiting for the bread I've
    Cynthia A.

Opens at 8 but the bread is not ready. Was told would be ready in 30 minutes. Came back at 9:30. Still not ready. Was in line to pay and the bread I've been waiting for was given to a costumer. So far not a good review from me. Honestly bad experience.

The pastries and drinks were very tasty. I recommend the strawberry matcha. The kiosk was down but they were able to take our order at the front. Nice place to grab a sweet treat with lots of options to choose from. There is limited seating available inside.

Wow. This place knows how to do delicious pastries! Selection is pretty large. That makes it a little hard to choose but also gives me the option to come back and try something new each time. I needed up getting an Almond half moon bread. It was fluffy, not too sweet and just so delicious! Cafe was clean and welcoming. The staff was very nice and handling the busy rush quite well. Next time I'm in the area, this is a definite stop for me before heading back home.

I love me some 85 degree pastries. They're perfect to take to work, to have on a picnic or to pair with your tea or coffee. I have the app and their deals are what lure me in. They have a monthly deal on their drinks and sometimes their cakes, so I take advantage and I, an Asian, appreciate discounts. Upon entering you can grab a tray and start loading it up with sweet and savory pastries, cookies, egg tarts, cake rolls and more. I limit myself to 4 or 5. My to-go pastries are the jalapeno cream cheese, the ham and cheese bun, the cheese tarts and guava rolls. Most of their pastries range from $2-$4 which isn't too bad. They offer bread, cake slices and full-size cakes. Full-size cakes start at $37 and up and they have flavors like red velv, mango, tiramisu and strawburb. Their tiramisu and coffee creme brulee cakes are my faves. Come here early if you want more variety. I've been here many times since they've opened and I've only encountered bare shelves once, which was the late afternoon. If you're feeling thirsty, they have hot and cold drinks to choose from. Milk tea, fruit tea, blended drinks, coffee and more. I usually go for their sea salt jasmine, grapefuit tea and their passionfruit. Sad that the sweetness can't be adjusted on some of them because damn you could barely taste the tea sometimes because it's too sweet. If that's the case, I would take it home and brew up some more green tea to add and it's perfect. I tend to stay away from their milk teas because the ingredients they use aint the greatest. I think they use powder and it's too sweet. I've tried their oolong milk tea and it wasn't the business. I took it home and added earl gray tea to make it more palatable. The shop is pretty spacious, I believe it used to be a furniture store before 85 took over. There are tables to sit and sip, and restrooms if you drank too much. If you're feeling introverted, they have a kiosk at the front where you can order drinks without talking to a human. You can also order ahead online and pick up in store. Parking is decent, they share the lot with Michaels, Hibachi buffet, Boba Luv and ohana. Overall, good quality pastries, cakes and drinks at a decent price. Quick service, too! I love how I don't have to go out to Concord or Sac anymore to get my pastry fix.

First time here in Fairfield location, been to Concord's location. Came around 9am, lots of pastries were not available yet, the cashier said best time to go is 10am because everything is out and freshly made! I did come away with their Milk Pudding Bread, Almond Chocolate bread, of course the Custard small pies, they come two in a pack! I got their Taro bread last time but it was not available yet at 9am! I tried their soufflé cheesecake since I tried Osaka's, and of course Japan won that one but it was still good at 85 bakery! So good! I will be back!

How exciting for Fairfield to get an 85C bakery! The store is very spacious. There's a gender neutral restroom, some tables inside, two kiosks for ordering drinks, a small refrigerated goods section, the usual pastries, and the display counter. It was very clean. When we arrived on a Wednesday afternoon they still had a decent selection. Each pastry was a little over $2! The mousse cup was about $4.25? This day I got a guava and cheese danish, pumpkin bread, Hokkaido cheese tart, and a cookies and cream mousse. I enjoyed all the pastries! The pumpkin bread was something that I haven't had before. It tasted like pumpkin pie in bread format. There was pumpkin filling inside. The stem is a piece of chocolate! A small word of warning is the 85C logo in the mousse cup is not edible. Initially we thought it was a piece of chocolate. It was not. Everything was good and not overly sweet. While there are other Asian-European bakeries nearby 85C offers much more variety in both food and drink. If you're looking for an affordable prepackaged snack this is a great option! I don't believe they make sandwiches to order but there are some prepared and packaged in the refrigerated section. We will be back to try their drinks and other baked goods!

Milk tea and bread with Ube filling
    Alexa T.

My order was the regular milk tea with boba in a size medium. There was only medium or large so medium was it for me. I also grabbed two bread with Ube filling. Service was excellent. They were polite. They helped me with whatever questions I had. Ube filled bread remains one of my all time favorite things to eat. Ube that actually tastes like Ube! The inside of the story was clean and everything was well stocked. Lighting not too harsh. There was a lot of seating too. 5/5

    Darlene A.

I stopped by to get a small cake for my birthday, and upon checking on the app you get 50%bday rewards for a drink order. I usually get their sea salt coffee but curious to try their matcha. I'm not sure if it was the powder topping but the matcha texture was sandy. It felt like drinking literal fine sand down my throat. I hate wasting food/ drinks but every time I sip it, feels uncomfortable on the throat. So unfortunately had to toss. Cake & bread was good though.

I really enjoyed my visit to 85° Bakery! I loved the wide variety of options--both sweet and savory--and the prices were amazing. It's so refreshing to find high-quality items that aren't crazy expensive. The drink menu also stood out to me. I played it safe this time with a vanilla latte (which was fine), but I'd love to be braver next time and try something more unique. The service was good. It takes a little while for the drink so just be prepared. And there wasn't a ton of seating inside, but there was enough for as many people at the time. I think most people grab and go. Everything I sampled was delicious, light, and didn't feel too heavy, which I really appreciated. I'm already looking forward to going back to explore more of their drinks and baked goods. Definitely a spot I'd return to!

Perfect place for sweets I went to this bakery with my family and we all loved it! They have so many cakes, breads, and sweets, everything looks beautiful and delicious. My kids were so happy choosing their favorites, and everything we tried tasted fresh and soft. My kids loved that is a lot of different kinds of breads, cakes ( to many colors and flavors ). The drinks go perfect with the bread, and nothing was too sweet, I really appreciate that the sweet are not to sweet, which we really liked. The place is clean, the staff is friendly and something that I loved was that they explain very well about the toppings or ingredients of the products, and it feels very welcoming. Definitely our new favorite spot to visit together! We order ... Muffin hazelnut muffin Blueberry cheesecake Black Forest cake Boba milk tea

A welcomed addition to the food and bakery scene in Fairfield. Service was good and the line went through quickly. They have baked goods - both sweet and savory. Just grab a tray and start loading it up. They also have boba drinks that you can order using the kiosk. They didn't have my favorite bun which is a sweet mocha, chocolate bun. But I was able to find others that were just as good. I also like their egg tarts. The crust is nice and flaky. The place was pretty crowded when I went on a Tuesday afternoon - that's a good sign! I hope they do well and stay in Fairfield a while.

Grand Opening Goodies & Fresh Bread Galore! I stopped by the grand opening of the new 85°C Bakery Cafe in the Gateway Plaza (Fairfield, CA) and had such a fun experience -- even got some free swag! Freshly baked bread was coming out every five minutes, and the smell alone was enough to make you want to try everything. While this location is on the smaller side (only two tables), it's perfect for grab-and-go; which is exactly what 85°C does best. If you do catch a fresh batch, they come out warm which I recommend to eat it then! But you can always heat up your goodies when you get home and it'll be just as delicious! If you've never been, they offer a huge selection of sweet and savory breads, cakes, cookies, and a solid lineup of coffees and teas. They also feature a "Top 10" breads list if you're feeling overwhelmed by all the options. My personal faves? The Marble Taro and Brioche Bun -- soft, flavorful, and always fresh! I tried their Sea Salt Matcha Latte and it was just okay. The matcha was more on the milky side and I couldn't really taste the salty flavor. They also rotate in seasonal drinks, and you can earn rewards or order ahead through their mobile app. With locations across the U.S., it's exciting to finally have one in Fairfield! I don't have to cross the bridge anymore lol Definitely worth checking out; especially if you're into fresh baked goods and quick, tasty treats!

We frequent 85' locations throughout the bay so I have a general idea of what's to be offered. So far there's nothing less than what's expected at this location. It's clean, they have fresh pastries, service is fast, and the have awesome drinks. I wont be able to attend their grand opening, in which they have some pretty nice items to give away for the first 100 customers but I do plan on visiting as much as I can since they have milk bread.

My husband and one of my employees both ordered the egg and sausage breakfast sandwiches, which they found highly enjoyable. I selected the avocado toast. While it was satisfactory, the avocado tasted more like a vinegar-based spread than freshly mashed avocado, which is my personal preference. Typically, I appreciate avocado toast prepared with fresh avocado; therefore, this was the sole aspect I would have altered. In summary, my experience was pleasant, and I would undoubtedly return. The welcoming atmosphere and excellent service have established it as a location I would gladly revisit, and I anticipate exploring additional menu items on my next visit.

There is now a Tesla Supercharger so navigate to that instead of the cafe so that your Tesla preconditions while you enjoy your morning. They no longer support their own app and have turned the keys over to Square to create an account to make it easier to pay and reorder. The ready times you get in the app are later than it's usually ready so I recommend giving them 10-20 minutes lead time. Here's my rating of the variety of foods and drinks I've tried. Undertow - 8 - Fun twist on a cortado as the half and half is cold and they add a splash of vanilla. The hot espresso is carefully floated on top of the milk so that when you drink you feel the cold "underflow" of vanilla milk. Cortado- 8 - Small but powerful sip of espresso. I prefer it with half and half and a touch of sugar over Journey's method but it is a tasty sip. Lavender Latte - -10 - the best version of a lavender latte you'll ever have. Cherry Blossom Latte - 9 - The cherry syrup is very forward but blends nicely into the latte which gives it light finish. The coffee does get a touch lost so add an extra shot. Citrus Cocoa Latte - 9 - The orange syrup is prevalent throughout the drink but the cocoa starts to stand up more the last half of the drink. I don't prefer chocolate drinks but this doesn't taste like a mocha at all. Very well done Journey!!! Veggie n Egg Breakfast Wrap - 7 - Light and flavorful but needs some pop from another ingredient. I recommend using the Tapatio hit sauce to elevate it above our 7 rating for those that want some pop of flavor and can handle spice. Breakfast Hand Pie - 6 - The pastry wasn't crispy but it did have some crispy seeds on it to save the texture, a bit gummy for my liking. The filling was also creamy with more cheese than needed (and I love cheese). Although good, I wouldn't get it again because the flavor of the filling fell flat. First Class Wrap - 10 - If you can handle spice, the chipotle sauce is amazing amidst the variety of ingredients. This is my go-to and everybody I introduce it to gets it as well. Every business partner I've introduced this right off the freeway coffee stop has loved and kept as their own. It's a no brainer if you're headed down I-80.
