The apple fritters were disappointing. They were more bread-y and dry inside. This might be my preference but if you prefer a moist fritter with a nice crunch then this wouldn't be the place to go to. read more

I've said it many times, I am a donut connoisseur and usually I am a cake plain old fashion donut guy. That being said I usually like a dense thick donut but these days I'm finding I also like super light and fluffy raised sugar donuts. These here are a hybrid of a dense and fluffy donut, judging by the immediate bounce back from a bite of a raised sugar donut not to be confused by a fluffy airy donut that stays flat after being bitten. These donuts are probably the fluffiest donuts in the area. I was surprisingly shocked at how much of a bounce you get with these light and airy breakfast treats. The service was quick, efficient and organized. I love love love French cruellers and not everyone can make it the way I like and the one by my house would make it the best. However this is very close to it. I called the shop and asked if they could side a few of them for me and they so graciously did. I snagged the last four. Reading reviews the breakfast sandwiches are also good, but a friend got that one. Bonus points for this shop because if you bring in your own container you get a few cents off from your half dozen or bakers dozen. It's a win win for the donut shop and reduce some trash for our environment. read more

We moved to Suisun almost a year ago. We're making our way to visit all of the donut shops. Hands down the best customer service. They're quick to greet you and getting your order taken care of. I like how quick they get you in and out. It was pretty busy right after we got there. I ordered the Sausage, egg and cheese croissant. It was very satisfying. My husband and son got the everything croissant. (Sorry no pic, they were hangry) They loved it, especially the sweet pickled jalapeños. They said that made it taste different and great! Try the butterfly glazed, it was different. I couldn't figure out the flavor but it was fruity sweet yet creamy. Check this place out. This shop is always poppin. Make sure you come early for the best selection, otherwise you'll miss out on options later in the day. Small parking lot in the back of the building only, as well as a little bit of parking on the side of the building, exiting to the street. Even though its common to see a line, the line moves real quick as they usually have 2-3 people helping customers. I got two bagels with cream cheese, and a croissant breakfast sandwich. The bagels and croissant are build your own, so you buy the croissant and add whatever fillings you like. My croissant sandwich was stuffed with bacon, a nice layer of egg, and some thick Kraft slices. Only $5.40 for all three, so total steal. My mom says they use to load their bagels with cream cheese inside and now they're not as generous, but what can you expect for like $1.50. We love their donut holes too. So fresh, fluffy, and soft. It's so easy to pop the whole dozen in your mouth. Best donut shop in the area, hands down! Don't forget, MAPLE BACON DONUT. read more

It was intense research. I landed on Jelly Donuts. Not to be confused with Lucky Jelly Donuts. This place didn't disappoint. The donuts were soft, fluffy, fresh, and great tasting. For your everyday donut this is your spot. I got a mixture of cake and raised donuts, they were all what I had hoped for. Now, obviously I still have some places to compare them to in the area, but I'm so glad I found this spot and will very likely be my go to. read more

Best bagels I ever had. Truly wonderful. My father refuses to acknowledge their superiority but everyone else I give one to agrees. If not bogged down with east coast Jewish bagel elitism this will be your favorite bagel. Other than the bagels the service is amazing. I hadn't been by in 7 or 8 years but the same people are still making the donuts and sneaking in a couple extras if you come in before closing. The lady said they open at 4am and 5am on some days. The bagel was only $1 and you can add stuff to it for extra $. I got an egg bagel and my husband ordered three glazed donuts. The staff was really helpful and nice. It was our first time trying Jelly Donut. I wish they had a drive thru lol but I will definitely come back and try some different donuts. Their donuts are huge! I went there at 7am on a Wednesday and it was bubbling with activity. Lots of people picking up breakfast and coffee. You can tell there are a lot of regulars here and the vibe was super friendly and welcoming which I really enjoyed. The ladies behind the counter were lovely. The parking in the back of the shop is kind of shady and creepy, but it's worth the risk. (I think?) Be careful driving in and exiting as it's a bit narrow. While the shop is not located in the most scenic area, don't let it scare you away. Their dozen is about $15. Their donuts tend to be doughy but light at the same time. These donuts are thicc. I picked a plain sugar donut cuz I'm old fashioned and it was fluffy and not too sweet. Just get over there and buy a dozen. read more
