Stopped here on a road trip, and it was easy access from the freeway and easy to park. The Service was very good, but the quality of the donuts was lacking. The appearance was great (see photo), but they were a little dry (stale) - almost all of them! Not our greatest experience at any Krispy Kreme. We were driving by and saw the red, lighted "hot donuts" sign on, so we decided to stop for some FRESH donuts. After a 22 minute drive home, however, we discovered the donuts were extremely dry and stale - definitely not characteristic of even a day-old Krispy Kreme donut. We called them, and they agreed to replace the stale donuts. We took another trip to and from Vacaville later that day and resolved the issue. At least they were pleasant about it, which we appreciated. They also explained that this location does not make fresh donuts onsite. They get deliveries from the Concord location. So when you see the "hot donut" sign on in Vacaville, it only means that they are freshly glazed and warmed... not freshly made. Kind of sad, but now we know. read more

This place is the closest from where i live and we usually just buy from this store whenever we are in the area and/or there is a promotion going on which krispy kreme is mostly great with. I had no issues with All the visits i had until today wherein i came in for the BOGO promo only to find out that they are out of glazed donut which is part of the promo. We were driving down Interstate 80 when my traveling companion said he was hankering for a doughnut. Well we so happen to be nearing the town of Vacaville and a Krispy Kreme (KK) was right off the freeway. So off we go. The staff was super helpful. Friendly and engaging. 5 star customer service! This location doesn't make the doughnuts on-site. They have them delivered. Plus they have no seating for dining in. For a Sunday afternoon, the selection of doughnuts was pretty large and varied. But then again I have no idea if they renew inventory daily. The doughnuts are choke full of additives that help prolong their shelf life. 3 doughnuts set me back over $7. I wasn't actually prepared for that price tag. I consider that a bit steep. Its been a long hot minute since I've been to a KK, so haven't realized the prices increased that much and they aren't clearly labeled. I got an original glazed, a chocolate iced glaze, and a glazed sour cream cake. They placed all 3 in a paper bag. But what a sec', what happened to putting them in a box like the photo on the wall of a 3 doughnut order. We ate the doughnuts in the car in the parking lot. They were served warm. The doughnuts are light n airy, so much so it didn't feel filling. As I held it in my hand, I noticed the size. Small and lightweight. I ate it within 3-4 bites. Love this spot! Hubby & I have come here often because we get the Krispy Kreme gift cards at a discount price from the local Costco. This location is great because it's central to other popular chains as well (Starbucks, Chipotle, etc). So it's fun to drop by & grab quick dessert. Every time I've been to this store, the staff have greeted me nicely. The store has been clean and cool. The employees get my order right away, and then I pay. I'm never in the store more than 5 minutes. The donuts are always fresh and delicious! I do have a habit of sticking to my usual of the raspberry filled, and it never disappoints me. Getting in, out, and through their parking lot can be an absolute nightmare depending on what day and what time of day you're here. That's pretty common place throughout Vacaville, though. I've always been a huge fan of Krispy Kreme doughnuts going all the way back to childhood. No other doughnut could ever compare. Then, I grew up and left California for Nevada and lost all access to fresh Krispy Kreme (I don't care what anyone says, the packaged store bought stuff is nowhere near the same). So whenever I'm visiting family in the Bay Area, I always stop here on my way back to Reno to pick up a dozen (or so) to bring home. This location has always been very clean and staffed by friendly and attentive employees. However, today, I was told that my Wife's favorite (the old fashioned with the sour cream frosting) was not made today. That was pretty disappointing considering we only get Krispy Kreme 1-2 times a year. Aside from that, I don't have any complaints. They usually open at 6 a.m. on the dot, and I would always grab an original glaze before going to work, but today, I pulled up to a dim Krispy Kreme with no staff inside whatsoever. Doughnuts are always welcome and Krispy Kreme is one of the best many years ago! But they're not the same anymore. They have much fewer choices now! The shop is not big and very basic. A counter with a cashier and a doughnut case. The choices are less than most of the donut shops I have purchased before. The doughnuts are not bad. It is tasted better than the supermarket's doughnut, but not some of my favorite donut shops. The customer service is good! We do receive a greeting when we walk into the shop. I think is not a bad idea to get the doughnuts from Krispy Kreme if you're not familiar with the area. At least you know you will have a okay doughnut. The parking log is very clean and feels safe. I was disappointed at how the donut was presented, was far different from the one they advertise... This is for an online delivery order made through their website. I placed an order on 1/25 thru the KK website and asked for delivery on 1/26 to a nearby town for my cousins sweet 16. My cousin loves donuts and I wanted to commemorate his special day by gifting him chewy, soft and pillowy doughnuts. I got an email notification on 1/26 morning that the delivery had been canceled (with no reason, and to call the store). I called the store and Georgia answered. She was not sure what happened but said she would leave a message for her manager to investigate. She told me her manager was ooo and would be back in an hour. I call back in an hour and Paul picks up. He tells me that Georgia has filled him in and he was working on it. He explained to me that they go thru 3rd parties such as DoorDash to deliver, and they often cancel if the delivery is outside of the neighborhood (lame...) and it is often hard for them to catch orders like this/understand cancellations bc they don't see what we (customers) see. Paul promised to get someone to redeliver it and apologized profusely. But honestly, it wasn't even on him. I was just grateful that he was willing to try again and didn't brush me off. The donuts are great. I loved the creme fill donuts they have. They even have donuts tailored toward what ever holiday it is. As for the coffee we'll that's a different story. I've never enjoyed there coffee but I decided to try it again. I got a black coffee and asked them just to give me half and half since what they had at the counter was empty.
