We pulled over for bingo pick up on the bus and decided to try Happy Donuts for the first time. The service was great, I was in and out. Omg that's the best, softest donut I've ever had in my life. The price was 3.50 for 2 which is awesome! read more

We came in on a Friday afternoon around 4 pm and tried some of the donuts as a little treat after getting food in the plaza. Plenty of parking in the lot, the place itself was clean, and service was prompt. The lady behind the counter was patient and answered all our questions. In comparison to some chain donut shops, the prices were reasonable. You could tell its a family-owned small business. The donuts themselves were light, fluffy, and delicious. They weren't too sweet nor greasy, which was a welcome surprise. Some of the best donuts I've had. I would definitely come back to try some more! read more

I tried the maple twist, old fashioned, and cake donut. All were delicious. I did come near closing, so not much variety. Get there early. The owner was super nice and engaging. She was telling me there was a line in the morning. I'll have to stop by early to get the good stuff ( French Cruellers and sprinkle donuts. ). The donuts were good, but the owner was super nice. I've gone to the other donut spot across the overpass- I enjoy those too, but I appreciated the friendly engagement at Happy Donuts. It's a family owned business. Try them out. read more

Whenever I want a donut I come here! The staff is always super nice. The donuts are always great. The last time I was here I really wanted a regular glaze donut but they were all out. I wasn't surprised since it was already mid morning. I ended up getting the glaze twist which is yummy. I didn't have cash on me so I paid with my card. They didn't charge me a credit card fee which was awesome since they usually charge. Sometimes they will throw extra donut holes in your bag which is always a nice surprise. Whenever I am craving a donut this is my go to place read more

the worst I went in there for a croissant, there was a bunch sitting there, and I asked for a breakfast sandwich and he refused to make one for me even though there was croissants. He pointed to the ham and cheese one that was already made, and I told him I didn't want that the worst customer service I've ever gotten. read more

Best donuts in town. Good quality and prices! We prefer over Duncan and Kristy Kreme.

Walked in at 2:40 pm Today ( Saturday 9-23-23) there was nobody in the front , out came a older Asian lady ( Who was working in the back I saw her when I walked in ) I said Hi , and She barely said Hi back ! lol . She was extremely rude , I asked about the jelly donuts , and the btchh got short with me ! I really felt like she was PREJUDICE, I'm a Beautiful Black Woman , buying a donut in Vacaville. Lol . Anyway I still bought the jelly donut , because I've been eyeing this place , and I was going to Walmart , which is in the same shopping center . the donut was stale ! It was a nice size with a large amount of jelly, But STALE ! How is a donut stale at 2:00 in the afternoon ? Stay away from this place ....The owner is a idiot , and they sale STALE DONUTS ! read more

Happy Donuts - Stale donut ...Don't go there ! Go somewhere else ! lol ...Thank me later :) - Donuts Near Me - Vacaville, California

Too expensive, not good for the price. Sad because heard this was the best donut place around.

Small shops like happy donuts have been a staple for morning donut runs while I worked in Vacaville. It's a small mom and pop shop that is one of the millions of of businesses that are struggling during these covid times and I've never been disappointed with their food donuts, coffee, and breakfast croissants. It's clean, well kept, and what I like it how you can visibly see them making donuts during the early, early mornings. read more

Second and last time I will be coming here!! Came here a week ago and an older lady (possibly the owner) had helped me and seemed nice at that time. I only bought 2 donuts that time and it wasn't too busy when I went, it being a week day. When I went for the second time today, the same lady had helped me. This time I had a bigger order. As I was telling her which ones I wanted, I felt like she was rushing me, since more customers started to come in and line grew longer. One of the donuts I asked for was the cake donut, which I didn't know which one it was since it's a donut I was getting for someone. She yelled and asked me which one, since there are 3 flavors. As I was trying to decide which one I felt rushed and she tapped the tongs against the donut pan as if rushing me to make a decision. There's no reason for this disrespect. This place should be called Rude Donuts, not Happy Donuts!!! I'm big on customer service, being that I worked in the restaurant and retail business for many years! I will no longer be coming back. There are plenty of donut spots in Vacaville. I'm not gonna support a business that has workers that are rude as hell and yell at you! Looks like I'll be trying another donut spot in Vacaville! read more

Wonderful place for fresh friendly family owned and operated service. Support locally owned.

Donuts were in short supply when i arrived, just some sugared old fashion and a nut covered glazed cake. both were .85 cents each.. cheap! Cashier smiled in agreement when i told her donuts must be delicious cuz there are so few left. plus they are so damn cheap! Smiling Cashier makes patrons want to return to buy more donuts. read more

Decided to surprise my staff with doughnuts, 3 dozen, quick service and clutch they are open early!

Happy donut is a decent place to have a donut. The customer service is good. Even though, the cashier did not speak English very well she smiled a lot and was very welcoming. I tried their coffee, apple fritter, maple donut and croissant sandwich. You can't really go wrong with a croissant sandwich. It melts in your mouth and not in your hands! I enjoyed their coffee and maple donut. The coffee was extremely flavorful and they used thick, quality coffee cups. However, I was disappointed in the apple fritter which is my favorite donut. It was hard and crispy which made it difficult to eat. Perhaps I got a bad one out of the bunch. Everything else was fine. I would be willing to try this place again and would recommend if you want a basic donut or coffee. read more

Donuts 5/5 Croissant sandwiches 5/5 Service 5/5 I've picked up goodies (donuts and croissant sandwiches) on several occasions for training or unit snacks. I'm always greeted with a smile and given great service. The donuts hit the spot as the croissant sandwiches are prepared ahead of time, however, if they run out, they are made to order! I typically order in bulk, and usually run into stressed out employees when doing so, however, they're always calm and welcoming. Great stop for a quick donut or or croissant sandwich! read more

Love the donuts .have been coming here for years .always friendly staff and good fresh donuts

My coworker went to get us donuts this morning when she got back and opened the box is wasn't what she had ordered. She took out the ones we did order and brought the other back with her to the store to get the right ones. The woman working was nice and apologized for the mix up. HOWEVER...she then took the donuts we brought back an put them back in the case. They were in our possession for at least 30 minutes. How does she just assume nothing happened to them and just put them back in there to sell. This is food we talking about! I'm so grossed out by this we ended up not eating the ones we paid for cause for all know someone has been touching them with their gross hands or worse. I'm so disappointed in this. read more

While working an event in Fairfield, someone brought in a wide variety of these donuts and I tasted them and was amazed at how big and fluffy they were. I will definitely have to grab a dozen of these the next time I'm in Vacaville. It was kind of nice to see B company stamp on the top of the box so I can know where to get these lovely Donuts. :-) read more

I have never in my life been so disrespected by another grown woman before. Overcharged me for two doughnuts & yelled at me like a child while I was there, called me stupid at the top of her voice in front of all her customers. You should be ashamed of yourself for treating another human being like that. This place will never receive my business again. You don't deserve to run a business if you can't even appropriately & kindly speak to people, and you for sure as hell don't disrespect people who are your customers, learn some moral respect for others and some business etiquette!! read more

mmm... the donut holes were pretty amazing to snack on on my way back to work, and again later that evening back home. They were light, and puffy, and a great sugar to dough ratio. They were a perfect two bites hole. The ladies were quick to get me my order so I could be on my way. Definitely worth a stop for a great snack. read more

I've used Happy Donuts many times over the last 3 years. I frequently host "Plumber Appreciation Days" where I bring doughnuts and coffee to a plumbers warehouse and offer them to the plumbers. Their donuts are fresh and delicious (I'm told - I'm not a donut eater, myself). The staff is kind and the sales receipt is always correct. Great job. I will keep coming back.
