    Cookie Cake (13'' Round)

So glad Mrs. Fields is still in business at the Solano Mall. Perfect for getting fresh cookies to go and mini cookies but also their cookie cakes. The frosting is super sweet but I came in and placed an order for pick up later on in the day. It was about $30 for a 13" round cookie cake. You can combine flavors but I just went with the basic chocolate chip because I wasn't sure if people had nut allergies to be safe. Easy to place an order and pick up. Located by one of the entrances of the solano mall and parking isn't too crazy. Workers were very friendly and it doesn't get too busy. There can be lots of people at the mall shopping around to shuffle through.

I've always lived in the area but for some reason never got anything from Mrs. Field's. This stuff is bomb and so good! I've gone here twice. On my first trip I got a chocolate chip cookie and a walnut fudge brownie. The cookie was soft, moist and yummy. However I didn't feel like it was out of this world. If you want a quality cookie, this isn't a bad place to go. But I did come back again for the walnut fudge brownie. OMG! It was sooooo amazingly chewy, chocolatey, and the walnuts on top were perfect to add some texture and crunch to the treat! Loved it so much! The workers are kind, friendly, and more than happy to help!! Love great customer service. Only downside is that it is a bit expensive. Amazing treats nonetheless!

What is it about Mrs. Fields Cookies that make me squirm? Is it the heavenly baked aroma, the gooey goodness, or is it the soft and chewy texture with every bite? I think it's actually all the grease and sugar but oh well! I picked up a split - buy 3 get 1 free of White Chunk Macadamia and Chocolate Chip Cookies. Yummy! This mall store location also had cookie cakes to enjoy. Good service. My Monday just turned into a weekend...

Got the big cookie for new years and it was decent. Cookie was soft but tasted too sweet and frosting wasn't great.

Got a 20 pack of nibblers to snack on while at the mall. Was happily munching them down for the next hour.

Cookies are delicious, but they gotta sell sea-salt and caramel chocolate chip cookies every day. I hate having to hunt it down annually.

The pastries are a pretty large serving size. We cut them, so folks can sample a bit of each. Mmm. Mmm. The ube filled croissant had a light creamy filling with flaky, crisp top layer and soft, fluffy inner layers. I'm not a fan of ube, but I didn't hate this. The fruit tart had a smooth, dense cream custard with a variety of fresh fruit on top. Portuguese egg custard tart had a sweet vanilla custard with caramelized top layer in a flaky puff pastry crust.

Everyone in my group loved their cupcakes, and I already want to go back to try the margarita…read moreflavor. The cupcakes were moist, fresh, and really good. I'm usually someone who can only eat a bite or two of cupcakes because they tend to be overwhelmingly sweet, but these were much more enjoyable. They were still a little sweeter than my personal preference, but not in an overpowering way--I almost finished my entire cupcake, which rarely happens. Everyone else loved theirs as well. The pricing felt fair, and the person working behind the counter was very friendly. My only suggestion would be making it a little clearer that the bakery and coffee shop share the same space. As a first-time customer, it was a little hard to tell which business was which. Overall, great cupcakes, friendly service, and definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

I've heard about Famous Creations from many people but never got to try their sweets until…read morerecently! Famous Creations has a bunch of sweets including cupcakes, cookies, brownies, cheesecakes, and custom cakes. This inside of their space is open, and quite empty. The decor is cute, but overall the space feels a little incomplete. I got the Ube Tres Leches after wanting a sweet treat after lunch! Their Tres Leches has good components of a good Tres Leches: moist cake soaked in milk with a creamy whipped cream on top. However, the milk did not appear to be evenly absorbed across my portion of cake, as some sections remained without any milk. The cake also seemed to be the only thing ube flavored, so overall the ube flavor was lacking. The cake in general was yummy, but was not my favorite as an ube tres leches. Their desserts overall look great and their custom cakes are super cute! I hope to try other items in the future.
