Best ice cream In a hot day we decided to go and find a good place for ice cream. We find near at our home Cold Stone ! Let me tell you about this place.... It was really good. My kids love it. They love all the toping and different flavors options they have and they favorite of course was sprinkles. My kids select chocolate and cookies and cream with a waffle with sprinkles. I decided to try just a regular cookies and cream with a waffle cone. My hubby decided to try their cookies and cream shake ( we love cookies and cream ) I love that the place was clean and the staff is so nice and kind. They also sing a song !! Was soooo funnnn ! This was a amazing adventure with my kids and we really recommended. You can make your own ice cream version playing with different flavors and toppings. I ordered a custom cake for my daughter's birthday. They did let me know up front that they don't do themed cakes, which was perfectly fine. I asked if they could just do the colors of her favorite character from her birthday theme which was Sulley from Monsters Inc. I basically told them they had free rein on how to decorate it. When I picked it up, I could've cried because they did an outstanding job. The cake decorator went above and beyond. It was such a beautiful cake and so on theme and very creative. Highly recommend! All the kids and adults enjoyed the cake. It was cotton candy with sprinkles mixed in with chocolate cake. Delicious! read more

Sadly this location has gone downhill. The employees are pretty nice and the store is pretty clean, but the ice cream? Not so much. It's soupy and the contents that are supposed to be mixed in aren't chopped in properly. It used to be that the ice cream would have to assaulted by the spoons and the mix-ins would receive the same treatment. Now the ice cream is so soupy that it takes 30 seconds for them to get it "mixed" and into to the cup and it has to be eaten in 1 minute and 30 seconds or it will be completely melted! Tonight I noticed it was hotter in the store than outside, so that's saying something. But two weeks ago, the result was the same. We will go to the Vacaville store next time and hope for the best! read more

SEE UPDATE AT THE BOTTOM: My daughter took me on Mother's Day evening because...well, why not! It's Mother's Day What should have been a great experience soured soon enough. I received an email coupon for buy one get one free. The email was clear to bring the coupon in the store. I placed my order for a 'Like it' size of French Vanilla and Chocolate ice cream with an oreo cookie mix in. My daughter ordered hers. We got to the register to pay and presented the coupon. Gianna said we couldn't use the coupon. I told her the email said to bring it in the store. It said to not even print it. We kept showing it to Gianna and another employee (I didn't get her name) and they kept saying we couldn't use it. They had a bit of an attitude towards us as though we were trying to get over on them or something. Finally, Gianna said she would call her manager and ask him about the coupon. The coupon isn't fake. It was emailed to me to use. Gianna spoke to the manager and she came back to tell us that there was nothing that could be done. We waited in a long line for ice cream. We ordered our ice cream, then this issue with the coupon came up. Guess what??? Well, this whole time we're trying to work out this coupon situation our ice cream was melting fast. They could have offered to remake our orders or something because we had ice cream soup by the time we got home. My daughter out of exasperation pays for the ice cream. She tells them this situation isn't being handled well. We paid then left. After looking at the receipt, my daughter found out that we were charged for a mix in when all I got was two oreo cookies put in the ice cream. The girl (I didn't get her name) said I'd be charged if I got a 3rd cookie. I said never mind. I should not have been charged for the mix in. I'm not sure yet if I want to return to this location. I didn't like the way they handled this at all. These employees need a training in good customer service. UPDATE: My daughter spoke to the nice manager who refunded one of the ice creams and the extra mix in that was charged. He listened well and responded well. Bought an ice cream cake Mint Oreo for $41 for a birthday. We bought it June 26 for the June 29 Birthday. After buying it, we out it in a tight sealed insulated bag and we rushed back home.. It remained in the freezer from then until the morning of June 29, exact birthday, as I opened the freezer as the celebration started, the ice cream cake is melting... We reported to the main HQ for a refund and if it wont work, a dispute from the bank would help.. This totally destroys the whole celebration. The ice cream cake as we were informed should last 7 days. We haven't even taken a photo of it or even tasted it and this happened. Ridiculous BTW, our freezer has no problem!!! read more

While good help may be difficult to fond nowadays, upon entering the store no geeeting (welcome to coldstones) instead they asked ii was there for a pick up which i replied no and that i would like to place an order. There were 5 employees working behind the counter and no other customers at the store. Yet, no acknowledgement like "we'll be right with you" but still it took at least 5 minutes before someone finally asked "may i help you". Customers may not be a priority for this evening's crew hence the 1 star rating not to mention the poor preparation of the ice cream itself hence a 1 star rating for this place. read more

Came in on a late Wednesday evening and was greated by all the employees, everyone was super friendly. I was a bit disappointed I didn't get a chance to taste-test the new, black colored, halloween themed ice cream, but due to covid I totally understand. I bought a pint of boo batter ice cream; Black colored, cake battered flavored ice cream with M&M's, kit Kat, and Oreos. The ice cream was addicting to say the least! The pint didn't last long, definitely craved it the next day, but at around 8 to 9 dollars a pint was more than enough to keep me and possible insulin shots at bay! read more

"AWESOME. OH WOW!" This Cold Stone is the #1 Cold stone I've ever been to. They sing jingles if you choose to tip them, and the servers are also extremely friendly. They always ask about your day while they mixing around your ice cream at the frozen bar. There used to be a guy who worked at the Coldstone who would do tricks with the ice cream scoops but I haven't seen him around as much anymore, he was really fun! Some of the workers are also very generous with their servings and if they fill up your cup WAY too much which is cool. This was the first Coldstone I've ever been to, and it has always been my favorite one to go to compared to the other ones because if the awesome service these guys have. We are staying at the Hilton and we were thrilled that Cold stone Cremery was in walking distance. In the evening we walked over only to find the young man behind the counter running his hands through his hair. The same person who also handles the money and makes your ice cream. My family and I went here during Memorial Day, and boy it was packed, despite the cold and windy weather. We were in line for maybe five minutes, as all of the staff were working hard and trying to be their best at customer service at the same time. Morgan, Domonic, Britney, Rose, and a trainee (so sorry I didn't ask what your actual name was...all I saw was "Trainee 4" on your hat) were all doing their best to get the customers their ice cream. They all definitely deserved all those tips coming in, since they were very quick on orders and mixing the ice cream creations on the cold stones. I ordered the Oreo Overload, and it was definitely mixed very well. Morgan put enough fudge on top to the point that I thought it was just the right amount. Other Cold Stones I've been to have put SO much fudge on it that it was uneatable to me. The signature creation is called Oreo Overload for a reason, not Fudge Overload. Anyways, I got a Like It size, since Love It was too big for me (I used to get that size when I was a kid, but now it's too much), and plus they give a lot of ice cream to fill the container and more. I definitely recommend coming to this location whenever any of those staff works because I did see them giving customers a good serving of ice cream, whether it be in a cone, bowl cone, or a simple container like mine. None of them seemed to underserve the containers, which is a plus. read more

This Coldstones had a friendly emoyee who greeted my company and I. It was my first time at Coldstone's Creamery and I did not have much experience ordering. The younger gentleman working was very patient as I had 3 kid orders and 3 adult orders. I don't eat ice cream or dairy products so I wasn't going to get anything myself. I was just going to get something for the kids. But when I asked the employee for the non-dairy options, he gladly pointed me in the direction of the flavors that I could have. I ended up getting the mango and strawberry lemonade sorbet, the love it size, and a warm waffle cone. The cone West delicious, it was nicely made, warm, and tasty. the sorbet was tangy and tasted like real fruit. It was a bit big for me but that's because I didn't really know how big the portion of the size names were. I did however manage to finish all of it. Great customer service, great ice cream or in my case sorbet. The kids seemed to like the ice cream and milkshake, I can't entirely remember what they got but I'll update my review when I do. I will. Off one star because he forgot my order, and made it seem like he could take all of her orders by head without writing anything down but that was not the case. It's a small place with only a handful of tables, but the place was clean, staff friendly and service fast. And, of course, the chocolate strawberry crepe was awesome. We ordered mochi balls and Oreos and they gladly stuffed the enormous crepe together with the chocolate ice cream and fresh strawberries. The crepe was topped with just the right amount of chocolate syrup and caramel, and a small amount of whipped cream on the side.
