    Caramel turtle
    Alison W.

Stopped in after work to get a sweet treat. I was the only one in there when I arrived. After perusing all the flavors, one of the staff members was in front of me, ready to assist me. I got a single scoop of the caramel turtle in a sugar cone. The ice cream was a little melty and the staff member mentioned it and was trying to scoop down further below to get "harder" ice cream. He checked in with me, after he did the best he could. I said it was fine. I guess if I really didn't want soft ice cream I could've asked for a different flavor, which maybe could've been more frozen. I just needed to eat it fast. I went outside. They have two metal picnic tables where I quickly devoured myy ice cream. It's vanilla ice cream with caramel swirls and choclocate chunks. Very yummy. While I was enjoying my ice cream, a few families with their kids arrived getting their own after school treat.

    Half a kid's scoop!
    Mia D.

My kids wanted some ice cream and asked to go to a nearby BR branch. We went to this branch with excitement to try their turtle kid sundae and was given an unbelievably miniscule portion size that even a dwarf would not eat. There was a long line of people and only two people were serving. I don't like to complain and want to be understanding but this is clearly wrong. My son asked for a kid sundae with a plain cone but was given a half alive turtle sundae that left my kid hungry and deprived of his ice cream scoop. They also did not have the turtle headband that comes along with the sundae compared to the Vacaville branch. Undercover Boss needs to get their CEO to evaluate this branch and take their child to get a sundae. I wonder if something will be done if a CEO's child receives this mediocre sundae. My son was crying in the car and asked for more ice cream. I was too angry to go back in the branch to ask for more ice cream. I am not the type to confront people but try to be understanding of workers who may be having a bad day. It may have been a long stressful day for the staff. But this is ridiculous and unacceptable for business.

The only employee who was there, when I went for the first and last time, seemed like she was miserable; she wasn't warm, welcoming,, inviting; she was very serious looking. It was sticky and messy inside.

I just came here to get a cup of ice cream and there was a hair in my ice cream very disappointed.

Not a "football" ice cream "Cake".
    Brandi G.

I ordered an "football ice cream cake" for my husband's Birthday which happened to land on Superbowl Sunday just to get there and pick up this.....I don't even know what this is. The employee (Sade) even agreed that it DID NOT look like a football and it was super small Mind you, I spent $40 on barley a half gallon of ice cream and was molded into a ball that had ZERO CAKE! Just Ice Cream! I was told that there was NOTHING they could do and I could not get a refund or discount. I had to take the cake as that was literally my only option on such short notice. Save your money and try to shop local. This place is awful! Michael Johnston

The pastries are a pretty large serving size. We cut them, so folks can sample a bit of each. Mmm. Mmm. The ube filled croissant had a light creamy filling with flaky, crisp top layer and soft, fluffy inner layers. I'm not a fan of ube, but I didn't hate this. The fruit tart had a smooth, dense cream custard with a variety of fresh fruit on top. Portuguese egg custard tart had a sweet vanilla custard with caramelized top layer in a flaky puff pastry crust.

They said 'yeah' to my request to add a paleta and when they got back to the counter they just tossed my paleta like it was such a big request. Its out first time coming here too and I was really excited to try it but this whole encounter just ruined it for us and it didn't even matter if the products was good. Its just so unacceptable to have an attitude just because we don't speak Spanish and was practically rushed out.

It's right next to Enterprise rentals, so there's a pretty big lot to park in behind the building if you can't find parking right in front. There are a few booths inside to enjoy your treats, but TBH I found it a little bit of a headache with all the lights flashing. They have 3 entrance/exit doors so that's confusing. You order on one side of the business and then pay on the complete other side lol They only have TV menus but the menus change from slide to slide, so you have to sit there and watch the TV go through its rounds. I prefer a stationary menu but there were no physical menu boards or anything other than 1 TV. If you're no familiar with Mexican snacks and treats, you may struggle as nothing has a description and not every employee is able to speak English well. Have some patience and google translate on hand if you don't speak any espanol. It's worth the treat!! I love bionicos! It's basically mixed fruit in a sweet cream, with a sprinkling of shredded coconut, granola, sometimes raisins. I'm a little picky though and the one fruit they love to add in is papaya so I always ask to leave it out. Other than papaya, they usually will have bananas, apples, strawberries and cantaloupe in the mix. You can get it as is, or with a scoop of ice cream. They have so many delicious flavors so I had to get a scoop of cheesecake ice cream on top. The cheesecake chunks sold me! They have such a great selection of ice cream, paletas, agua frescas, mangonadas and even savory treats too! Hot cheetos with cheese, I'm coming for you next time!
