I wanted a chocolate soda, my husband wanted a scoop of peppermint ice cream. The ladies at the counter were nice, but since they had never heard of a chocolate soda, they wouldn't make one, even though I told them how it was done and that it was made like a float (which they make) except instead of soda pop, one would use soda water and chocolate syrup. My husband then discovered they don't carry peppermint ice cream. We both struck out, so we decided to each order a hot fudge Sunday. I hate to say it, these were the most disappointing hot fudge Sundays. Apparently they keep the temperature of the ice cream to just slightly above melting. The temperature of the hot fudge was barely warm, it seemed as though it was just slightly above the ice cream temperature. I don't know what I was eating, but it was extremely disappointing trip. While we were there, a lady came in with her little boy looking for ice cream cookie sandwiches. Of course, she also struck out. Then she saw the chocolate chip cookie and ice-cream pie and asked for one of those. When she was handed the box, she realized it was not made with a big chocolate chip cookie, but a big brownie. She asked if she could have one with the cookie instead of the brownie. Well, of course they didn't have any, she reluctantly agreed to take the brownie version of the ice-cream pie. So, I guess the moral of the story is, if you're already having a bad day and want to take it to the next level, this is your place. They will have nothing you want, you will buy something you don't actually want and then be deeply disappointed. Try Dairy Queen. read more

Skimpy on ice cream, toppings, load drinks with too much ice, and rewards/coupons never work when Bali is at the register. Even skimpy on cake icing; look at this !!! Place is clean though. read more

I've always liked Baskin‑Robbins, but today ended that. The counter person was rude and dismissive. I showed my receipt, picked up my cake, and when I asked about the free birthday scoop, she just quoted the code and refused to honor it. No courtesy, no effort. Cold Stone is the opposite -- they're friendly every time, and even after I'd been sick for months, they still remembered me. From today forward, that's where I'm going. Baskin‑Robbins lost me as a customer for good. read more

The older lady working there was extremely rude. She always had a snarky remark when I asked basic questions. The younger lady working was nice, but the older lady seemed to insist she took my order. And the ice cream was not cold, it was halfway melted. Overall, bad customer service, bad quality, would not recommend. read more

This Baskin Robbin's is the closest to me geographically, but I am disappointed every time I patron this location. I order through Instacart mostly and more than a few occasions their sundaes were not even correct. I have ordered double scoop sundaes with chocolate chip, hot fudge, almonds and a cherry. They are skimpy with toppings, and to make matters worse they substituted the chocolate chip for a different flavor. I called the place to ask why the flavors are not what I ordered and they just said they were out of chocolate chip so they substituted with cookies and cream. Why not call the customer and ask if that is even acceptable? If you are out of one of the most popular flavors, then at least call and ask if it's ok to substitute. Another time, I ordered on door dash and again, they are out of chocolate chip. This is the only baskin Robbins that is ALWAYS OUT OF CHOCOLATE CHIP. It doesn't matter if it's summer, fall, winter, they are always OUT OF CHOCOLATE CHIP. That is one of the most basic flavors, what is so hard about keeping that flavor in stock? I love Baskin Robbins but this location is the WORST. The young people who work here are very sweet, so I added an extra star. But the manager/owner needs to get their lives together otherwise business will suffer. Even when I order birthday cakes from here they never have chocolate chip in stock. This will be that last time I come here, it's such a bummer to never have what you're craving. read more

One star only because it's ice cream. It is, however, overpriced ice cream for what you're actually getting. The service is absolutely horrible. One of the ladies (she is older and appears to be Middle Eastern or Indian) is very, very rude. If you are not 100% ready to order, she will raise her voice at you and wants you back at the end of the line. She also picks and chooses what coupons to honor. The shop is small with 3-4 tables (4th table is occupied with store items) and some chairs. Plan on taking your ice cream to go. I wish it was a friendlier place because my kids love ice cream & it's nearby. We will be looking for somewhere else to go that is more kid, family and wallet-friendly. read more

When we arrived the employee told us their payment system was down, so he could only accept cash and no change could be given. Ok, so we and the other customers paid cash. But it was clear the employee was collecting cash in small denominations that could have been used to make change. My wife asked why some of the ice cream was melted. She was ignored, no explanation given. Then she asked to use the restroom. The employee stated that it was out of order. It was obvious that the restroom sign had been removed from the restroom door. Very shady operation. read more

Stopped in after work to get a sweet treat. I was the only one in there when I arrived. After perusing all the flavors, one of the staff members was in front of me, ready to assist me. I got a single scoop of the caramel turtle in a sugar cone. The ice cream was a little melty and the staff member mentioned it and was trying to scoop down further below to get "harder" ice cream. He checked in with me, after he did the best he could. I said it was fine. I guess if I really didn't want soft ice cream I could've asked for a different flavor, which maybe could've been more frozen. I just needed to eat it fast. I went outside. They have two metal picnic tables where I quickly devoured myy ice cream. It's vanilla ice cream with caramel swirls and choclocate chunks. Very yummy. While I was enjoying my ice cream, a few families with their kids arrived getting their own after school treat. read more

Perfect custom cake for a special day! I placed an order ahead of time for an Easter/Birthday ice cream cake for my mom's 50th, and everything went super smoothly. I scheduled pickup for 11:15 AM, and when I arrived, the cake was ready right on time. It looked amazing--exactly what I was hoping for--and it tasted great too! Really happy with the whole experience. Definitely recommend if you're planning a celebration and want something both fun and delicious! read more

Came in today with my family, upon arrival the female manager was telling off her young male employee for a solid 5 minutes. She did not even great us as we walked in or anything. She eventually sent the young male employee to help us and take our order. He did his job and she rang us up. We sat down to enjoy the ice cream and again she started to yell at him. Telling him off and as I'm observing she throws a towel across the counter towards him. It was very unprofessional. I applaud the young man for his patience and his composure, if that was me I would have walked out on her. This manager needs some training. read more

My go-to for the occasional two-scoop, hot fudge sundae with Jamoca and Pralines N Cream ice cream, with nuts and a cherry. Customer service has been satisfactory for me - no complaints here. Overall, I come for my favorites and I leave satisfied. I do miss $1 Scoop days though. read more

Glad to have this location so close to home. Who doesn't love to get ice cream! They always have my butter pecan available and sometimes I'll opt for a strawberry scoop. Prices are reasonable and a great place to just cool off. read more

My kids wanted some ice cream and asked to go to a nearby BR branch. We went to this branch with excitement to try their turtle kid sundae and was given an unbelievably miniscule portion size that even a dwarf would not eat. There was a long line of people and only two people were serving. I don't like to complain and want to be understanding but this is clearly wrong. My son asked for a kid sundae with a plain cone but was given a half alive turtle sundae that left my kid hungry and deprived of his ice cream scoop. They also did not have the turtle headband that comes along with the sundae compared to the Vacaville branch. Undercover Boss needs to get their CEO to evaluate this branch and take their child to get a sundae. I wonder if something will be done if a CEO's child receives this mediocre sundae. My son was crying in the car and asked for more ice cream. I was too angry to go back in the branch to ask for more ice cream. I am not the type to confront people but try to be understanding of workers who may be having a bad day. It may have been a long stressful day for the staff. But this is ridiculous and unacceptable for business. read more

The place itself appeared clean and the girl working was very kind, BUT they served us melted ice cream. They either need to get a new freezer or lower their temperatures. It's unacceptable that they are open and serving melted ice cream to customers. I will not be returning until the issues resolved. I can take my business to Avalanche in the meantime. read more

My wife and I typically go in once a month to purchase pre-packed ice cream out of the reach in freezer. They have now put locks on the door so that you have to get the person to open it up in order to get the ice cream out. There was only one person working, and there was one customer at the register paying when we came in and as we stood there and when she finished another customer came in with apparently a mobile order or DoorDash or something so she did his order next. About the time she finished that order another person came in holding a phone and she started to do his order next. I asked if I had to place a mobile order in order to get the freezer opened up. She indicated that she had to do the mobile orders first and about that time another person came in holding their phone up so we left. Went to the grocery store and got twice as much ice cream for half the money so I guess it ended up being a good thing. Not sure why they only have one person working, but we were willing to spend enough that would've paid the hourly wage for the other person. read more

Super nasty, went here the other day and the milk in my cappuccino blast was spoiled !

I ordered an "football ice cream cake" for my husband's Birthday which happened to land on Superbowl Sunday just to get there and pick up this.....I don't even know what this is. The employee (Sade) even agreed that it DID NOT look like a football and it was super small Mind you, I spent $40 on barley a half gallon of ice cream and was molded into a ball that had ZERO CAKE! Just Ice Cream! I was told that there was NOTHING they could do and I could not get a refund or discount. I had to take the cake as that was literally my only option on such short notice. Save your money and try to shop local. This place is awful! Michael Johnston read more

I'm making it a personal mission of mine to call out shady and ripoff businesses in 2025. This is one of them. Similar to Subway owners, very SKIMPY. RIPOFF ALERT - Paying $7.99 for 2 scoops of ice cream and the lady barely scoops any ice cream out. She gives you the amount of 1 scoop and calls it 2 scoops. I called her out on it, and will NEVER return to this business. Yeah it's only a few dollars we are talking about but what's right is right. DON'T RIP ME OFF. GIVE ME WHAT I AM PAYING FOR. read more

Empty and off the beaten path between major cities Sacramento and San Francisco, this location might best be described as the rough among diamonds. Despite the obviously uncleaned display cases and outdated cake designs, the store's owner spoke of their frozen treats as if they were something to be featured on one of today's popular competitive baking shows. Was not able to accommodate the theme of my child's cake yet boasted the skill level of each employee for their design abilities (as the one other employee present looked on in distress). I would congratulate this store and its staff for their inflated view of their success and never again stop in this podunk town which might just as well serve up a waffle cone with a small tumbleweed on top of it. Such a thing would equate to the prickly attitude of this store's manager. read more

Walk in at 8:10pm on 10/17/24 happy to get and ice cream for me and my fiancé. As soon as I open the door and we walk up to the front where you can see all the flavors. There's 2 workers there they don't say hi, or anything just looking at us like crazy people. Mind you we are the only 2 customers in the entire store. Worse and most awkward situation. At this point might as well be close because you have workers who don't give a shit about your business. Never coming back read more

Childhood memories, it was nice to walk into Baskin Robbins and remember the awesome times I had growing up and grabbing a scoop. It's been years since I've been to a B.R. so I was surprised to find my favorite/classics were no longer available. Rum raisin was replaced by cotton candy crackle, pistachio was now replaced by pistachio almond and cookie dough was nowhere in sight! It's nice to grab a scoop or two every once in awhile and reminisce of my childhood love for ice cream, three out of five stars since they got rid of a few classics, I know I have the taste of an 85-year-old salor, because who else do you know that likes rum raisin! read more

I would recommend anyone who has a special event and are considering purchasing an ice cream cake to not use this store. I purchased an ice cream cake for my wife on valentines day. The order was made online and I received a follow email confirmation that the order was accepted. I showed up on valentines day to pick up the cake and was told by a very rude person that my cake was not made because their cake person did not show. I did not receive a phone call to alert me. I was then told that the manager authorized me to get two smaller cakes and that was my only option. I told the person to forget it and process a refund.
