The cake had an ice cream layer and a cake layer and the combination was delicious! So it's Mother's Day and my wife wants a Milk Shake from Baskin Robbins. The kids want the same. I'm off to go get them. I arrived. Quite a few people there. Had to repeat my order several times. I paid and waited. The bill was almost $32.00 for four milkshakes. They were terrible. Too much milk and no ice cream. Didn't taste them till we got home. Went back. They remade them and they were just as bad. It was crowded and a joke. After quite a bit of time they finally gave me my money back. Left and went to Cold Stone. Got four milkshakes for $21 and they were great. Pretty amazing that Baskin Robbins couldn't make a decent milkshake. read more

My husband waited in line, sat his turn he told the worker he had a cake ordered online, gave his name and the worker was so rude. Kept asking whose name was on the cake. FYI we didn't want any writing on the cake so my husband finally showed the photo of the email because she kept asking the same question over and over. Poor customer service and the cake design was horrendous. I've gone to the Vacaville one off Helen power and they have been amazing with the design the two times I've gone. I didn't think it would be this huge difference in quality. The flowers and beads looked flat and like a 2nd grader made it. Ordered a cake my mother's 60th birthday to be ready in the 4pm in the afternoon. Was called after 12pm and told the cake decorator wouldn't be in until 6pm. And that my cake would be ready after 6. It is 9:45pm on Tuesday February 16, 2016 and I just received HORRIBLE service. I waited for service and was skipped. After waiting for the girl Taneeka Nixon (that's what she told me her name was) was not only rude when I asked if she was ready for me, she put her hand up and said "this nigga". I don't feel I should have this kind of language spoken to me as a customer, but the people I was with had children that didn't need to hear that either. Baskin-Robbins, please start carrying more lactose free options! Unfortunately I am sensitive to dairy products, and yeah I know it's an ice cream shop, but I wish they had more than one dairy free option. They had one sorbet available, strawberry sorbet, and it was okay. Not great. The few times I've ignored my dairy sensitivity, I've gotten their mint chocolate chip ice cream. It's really good. Not over the top with the mint flavor and it has small chocolate flakes instead of big chunks. The ice cream scoopers were friendly and gladly offered samples of any ice cream. My friend did not feel rushed when he was deciding his ice cream flavor. It wasn't very busy when I went, so that could be part of the reason they were friendly. One time I made the mistake of coming here on their Tuesday family night where ice cream is $2 for a single scoop. It was packed! I think it took me about 20 minutes standing in line waiting to order. I don't think I'd come back just for their sorbet, but if I'm having an ice cream craving, Baskin-Robbins is a decent choice to satisfy that craving. read more

Almost every time I come in, the staff asks me if I want my usual order (single scoop of peanut butter and chocolate in a sugar cone), it just depends on who's working. The staff is always respectful and friendly, even during their busier hours. INSIDE: The place is clean and presentable. Sometimes the lines will get long, which makes it hard to view all the flavors. There's enough seating and the restrooms are clean (though sometimes out of service). PRICE: Prices remain mostly the same; I've only ever noticed a 10 cent increase a couple weeks ago. FLAVORS: Strawberry cheesecake is a seasonal flavor, which sucks for my dad because that's his favorite flavor! But we always find good backup options. After all, they do have 31 flavors. Also, I feel like you get bigger scoops if you're a regular, maybe that's just my imagination! HOURS: They're open until 10pm even on weekdays, which is awesome. read more

One of the most clean baskin Robbins I have been too. Everything was very organized and they have quiet bit variety of flavors and ice cream cakes. Bali, the store manager was extremely helpful and cheerful. Even though there were customers walking in every minute, she never lost her smile and gave them best service possible. After hours of shopping, we decided to stop for ice cream before we headed home. It was busy but the wait wasn't too bad. I requested a single scoop Rocky Road cone and my husband ordered two scoop cup. The server started dishing up the one scoop cone, kind of slopping it in the cone. It was totally "flat" because it was so soft. She handed it to me and I made some comment to my husband about a flat cone. I didn't know it was soft serve! The server apologized, saying I know it is really soft I'm so sorry. She finished my husbands' order (his ice cream was hard}, and I tasted my Rocky Road. It was actually warm and soupy and kind disgusting. At the register, my husband asked for mine to be at least half price, and she didn't say anything. SO I hand my cone back to her and said I can't eat this, please take it away. She did offer me another flavor and I declined. That soft ice cream definitely had something wrong with it and never ever should have been served. She knew it was the correct consistency when she dished it up. Over the years my family has frequented the Baskin-Robbins at 3069 Travis Blvd Fairfield, CA 94534 many times. It's been our go to ice cream stop. Friday my wife picked up an ice-cream cake she'd ordered for our granddaughter's birthday on Saturday. We placed it in the frig. to find that by morning it had collapsed. The cake was over $50. We called the store to see about a replacement before the party and were told the best that they would do was to give a 10% discount on another one. I'm sure that if they wanted they could've and should've done much better. Well needless to say I'll never spend another cent in this place...they've lost a loyal customer. read more

Love their ice cram but its quite expensive and when buying handpack - they should allow a few cones but they no longer do this. If I buy a scoop I can get it on a cone, but if I buy a quart, cannot.
