I was just here with my cousins, sisters and niece yesterday afternoon while we were at a party for at LGNDS Dance Studio just a couple doors down. What Dynamite Donuts had to offer was amazing. It definitely reminded me of Rainbow Donuts in Berkeley. My cousins, sisters, niece and I all selected what we would like. I got the fruity pebbles donut, and it was amazing. The workers there gave us extra donuts too and even gave us stickers. Thanks guys! I should have gotten another fruity pebbles donut, but next time I will. I will for sure swing by here again the next time I am in Hercules. :)
It's nice to have a doughnut shop in the neighborhood and it's been there for awhile. They have a variety of. doughnuts, breakfast sandwiches, coffee and other drinks. Breakfast sandwiches are made to order. I've been there several times and the service has been pretty good at times. I really like the breakfast sandwiches and the avocado toast is also a good one. With the name of the shop Dynamite Donuts, it'll always will be a big hit.
Had the worst experience here yesterday. It took 30 minutes to get two donuts. That is only after being ignored for 10-15minutes, standing in line while online orders were being processed. There were three staff members in total (thin build, Latino male), medium build Filipino female with glasses, and a thin build Asian female). The male was working on an in person order when I walked in, seven to ten minutes later the same woman was standing around waiting for parts of her order - no other in person customer was being assisted. A young woman, who had placed an online order for two coffee drinks asked repeatedly if anyone was going to make her drink order. It took two staff members - Asian female, Latino male) - to help figure it out, each debating who was going to make it. The Filipino female kept coming from the back to bring sandwich items to seated waiting customers. The male continued to look at online orders before helping the family of three in front of me. When their order was finalized, the male walked away from the register and proceeded to look at the online orders. He said nothing to the line, did not acknowledge our presence. He went to the back to make a sandwich - again two staff members working on one thing (Filipino female, Latino male) while in person customers stood and waited. The Filipino female asked what him what was in the bag while standing at the front of the store. The other Asian female was still working on the coffee drinks from the online order from when I first walked in. After about ten minutes of being walked by and disregarded, while waiting to be acknowledged, I asked is anyone going to take our orders at the counter? The male replied, "Yes, but we have a lot of online orders and we'll get to you shortly." So online orders take precedent over those waiting in store to purchase? If this is the case, then why are there only three staff members who are clearly not organized nor serve in the capacity of enough staff to assist customers online and in person? If I had not asked about being helped, no telling how long staff would had continued to ignore us. The Filipino female walked over, asked how my day was and asked what she could get me. After each donut selection shared, anything else?... She was being passive aggressive in her tone and with her words. As I was waiting to select my receipt options, she saiid, "All of that for two donuts" to the male. Who both went into the back while the rest of the building line waited. When I finished my receipt selection and entering my phone number, the father and son behind me were still waiting without any assistance or staff acknowledgement.. If I had not promised my daughter a donut prior to order road trip, I would have left long before. Worse service as it was nonexistent to those in person. There were three staff, two were doing staff and the third at the front was nonexistent. Do better Dynamite, your customer service was absent yesterday, staff not at all prepared or organized and your store is not staffed to assist both online and in person without neglecting in person. Communication was nonexistent as well, leaving customers standing in line without a single word or thought of returning any time soon. Online orders, you'll be waiting too. There were three people who walked in, going directly the register with a phone in their hands. They were waiting two for the pickup while the young lady wanted her coffees made. The ambiance here...people were upset across the board. I would rather drive to Pinole and get service, Dynamite donuts are not worth that wait or nonexistent level of service.
Amazing service, friendly staff, and the line moves pretty quickly even though there's so many donut options! I got two fancy ones like the panda donut and green tea and pistachio ones. Also tried their dirty matcha latte with almond milk. So yummy. Plus the music is on point here, hitting my millennial heart! Plenty of seating and tables as folks just grab their donuts and go. Highly recommend this dope spot in Hercules!
Cute local donut shop in our home town of Hercules. We've been here only one time before and just for the donuts, which were delicious as I recall. We just don't eat donuts very often so haven't come back until today. And we came for the coffee! While there was a small line, they have several people behind the counter and we were greeted promptly by a young lady with a smile, asking for our order. We had almond milk lattes and they are quite good, especially considering their main specialty is donuts. However, I like a stronger coffee flavor. Maybe they don't use a dark roast espresso? W had a maple old fashioned and a glazed mochi donut. I had the ube donut with crumble top, which was moist, not too sweet, and oh so yummy! I tried the mochi and it has an interesting and pleasant chew vs the crumble of a cake donut. The donuts are five star all around! And I would give 4.5 stars if I could. But the latte, while very good, are deserving of 4 stars by my rating scale. The service is also 5-star with a friendly team and quick service even with the latte prep. The store is cute! I think we came after the main morning crowd because there was powdered sugar everywhere on the bar where we chose to sit and it was quite sticky. I wiped it down using napkins and the hand sanitizer available at the coffee condiment station, since the staff was busy helping customers. If you're in H-town (once a firearms powder plant called Hercules Dynamite) or nearby, come to Dynamite Donuts and enjoy!
We came for breakfast and coffee on a Sunday morning and was able to beat the crowd! Right after we ordered, a line began to form. My partner ordered a breakfast sandwich which he thought was good, not exceptional, but what you expect from a breakfast sandwich. I had an apple fritter donut and thought it was delicious, the donut itself was light, fluffy, and the perfect amount of sweetness. However, we ordered 2 iced mochas and from the color alone, you can tell that something was wrong. I asked the staff again to confirm if it was an iced mocha and she said it was. The coffee was way too sweet, my guess is that they either used white chocolate or added caramel. Either way, I'll come back for the donuts if I'm ever craving it but I'll head elsewhere for the coffee. The store is also clean and upkept with plenty of seating available indoors.
Wow! The donuts are visual masterpieces that taste as good as they look. My favorite flavor was the pistachio or the maple bar. The service was fast and friendly too. A little pricey, but then again, look at their donuts! Worth it.
Went to a post Thanksgiving feast and bought some sweets for desserts. I went super early and met with smiley/ friendly counter gal. Doughnuts are really good and was pleasant surprise for everyone. Definitely my go to place for doughnuts and diversity of choices.

10/10 5 stars!!!! I first received these on my doorstep as a gift and I was wow'd. Went back a twice this week! So worth it!!! my personal favorite is the glazed donut (sorry not sorry ) than their fritters are pretty tasty as well. Oh and did i mention I have their avocado toast and was very pleased. As simple as it was it was still a strong 8.5 out of 10. What a blessing to have in the neighborhood. Can't speak much on for service and ambiance it was pretty straightforward, so all good there DYNAMITE DONUTS IS A MUST TRY.
Very nice and lovely shop, I came because a friend told me about this place but it is just amazing, best doughnuts in town. We got a few with different designs also different flavors but the horchatas one it's bomb! Definitely a perfect place for any occasion.
This donut shop is right next to a Starbucks. We ordered our coffee on the Starbucks app and it said 11 minutes. We saw several people walking out with cute pink boxes, so we decided, hey why not check the donut shop out while waiting for our drinks? We're so glad we did! Small modern looking donut shop with the donuts displayed in the front. They also offer drinks/coffees. We got a half dozen of their donuts, my favorite is the blueberry cake donut, so good and perfectly balanced flavors! Not too sweet and it was nice and soft. Service was quick and friendly. Plenty of parking. Would like to try their drinks next time!

I found this donut shop on IG after seeing that they do cute custom donuts of dogs so I knew that I had to get them for my dog's birthday! I emailed them a week prior about placing an order with some reference photos, but in case they don't get back to you right away, I would suggest calling the store a couple of days prior. Custom donuts are $4 each and I did try to ask if there were different flavors, but I did not get an answer to that. The store itself is located in a busy plaza but parking is really easy. It is very spacious inside and looks like it would be a great place to study or hang out. Their display case is also full of unique flavors that enticed me to buy a couple of them! I ended up getting a green tea and horchata donut, which were a good sweet treat! The lady at the front was also very sweet and patient as I decided on what flavors to get and also helpful with getting my custom order ready. The custom donuts came out super cute and looked exactly like my dog! I would definitely suggest Dynamite Donuts for custom donuts and also to try their unique flavors! read more

Bought a dozen donuts, and they looked as amazing as they tasted. Beautifully crafted, not greasy or overly sweet--just fresh, light, and absolutely delicious. You can truly taste that they're freshly made. Service is always on point. Nice clean always and inviting. read more

Super friendly, clean and modern establishment! Donuts are baked fresh daily. You really get a variety of donuts. So, there's something for everyone. My hubby was impressed with the first bite of the classic glaze donut. We both love that it was light and fluffy and moist. Types of donuts: Classic, old fashion,cronuts, mochi, French crullers, and cakey donuts. To name a few+ of their delightful and sinful flavors: Ube, Pistachio, Strawberry Shortcake, Creme Brulee, Banana Nut Fritter, Matcha, Horchata, Blueberry Cake, Red Velvet and more! Coffee drinks are made to order with a legit espresso machine. So, you are not getting that basic coffee sitting in a pot for hours. The iced dirty matcha latte was perfectly made with oatmilk and just the right sweetness to balance the shot of espresso. Compliments to the barista! Tip! You can order online in advance. read more

I am in DONUTS HEAVEN! This is the place to go to before heading to class or to work. Dynamite Donuts have been in business for over two years and people been coming by everyday from the morning until the afternoon. Plenty of different varieties of donuts to chose from. I love the friendly faces that serve me the best donut created. I love Hercules Finest, Animals, Characters, and The Dye Titan. I finally discover that Dynamite Donuts has a restroom to use. I been using their hand sanitizer to clean my hands. Their Iced Latte can give other coffee places a run for their money even though they are in the same area with Starbucks. Don't know how I missed this place, but I'll definitely be back! Donuts were delicious. Classic pillowy soft glazed donut perfectly executed. Plus a bunch of other classic and creative options. I mean, Girl Scout Somoas in donut form?! I ordered hot chocolate with my donut and it came with mini marshmallows! 5 star! And the service was friendly and prompt (and patient while I was trying to choose). Great experience overall. read more
I love the bacon maple donut! I like light fluffy donuts more than the dense ones, so if you're like me, give this place a try. The donuts are super sugary artistry, so you will get that IG level picture, but it's that same sugary taste! I also tried their avocado toast croissant because I was curious about it. It wasn't great...but gets the job done. The workers there were friendly. The place was clean, with a few tables and chairs. There is a restroom available inside. read more

What a nice find. Friendly staff. Wonderful service. Ambience is casual with seating for 2 or at the counter. Lots of wonderful donut options from mochi, to vegan, to the OG classics, and everything else in between. Donuts range from $2.25 to $3.50 or 1/2 dozen or dozen pricing. There are lots of variety to choose from and they are both visually and tastefully appealing. In addition, coffee type drinks are also available. A great spot for your sweet fix. read more

Treat yo'self--any day, anytime! Whether it's after work, before school, or just because, a little indulgence goes a long way. The vibe was chill, Mary J was blasting, and the selection of fresh, delicious donuts was on point. I picked just a few (okay, maybe more than a few), and shoutout to Justin for the great customer service, the smile, and those bonus donuts! #salamat I've been here a few times, and each time, a different person has hooked me up with a little extra--love that! One thought: it'd be amazing if fresh juices or smoothies were an option too, just to round out the treat-yourself experience. Love their donuts- mochi and regular. I have never been disappointed in their donuts. My new favorite is the creme brulee with the lemon cream filling. The service is always friendly and attentive. Cute spot to do work in. read more
Summary: I recommend this place. Good food, great customer service, clean and chic place. Food: We ordered Oooh-bae and custard-filled chocolate donuts. Both are moist and just enough sweetness. Good for those who are craving sugar but are also watching sugar level intake. The ube flavored donut had ube flavor. I know I know - duh, right?! No. I've tried so many ube flavored pastries but only tastes sweet. This one though is the opposite. Though the flavor is not strong, it is there. Next time, I'll order the Cookie Monster, Elmo, Unicorn, Panda and other cute donuts. It doesn't have to be a kids party right? An adult could enjoy these. They offer two types of donuts: the regular flour donuts and the cake dough donut. Both are good. We also had medium regular oat milk latte (there is a vanilla latte, hence, "regular") and a black coffee. To my delight, the drink size here is bigger than other places? Well I'm not sure if it's because they are bigger or the server, a young gentleman (more on this guy down at 'Service' section of this review), just hooked us up. Anyway, my latte was 'perfect' - just enough sweetness to curb my craving for a sweet coffee but not diabetes inducing. (BTW, this kept me up the whole night! I literally finally felt sleepy at 730AM the following day when it's time to work. So for those non-coffee drinkers, don't drink this in the afternoon, like the way I did.) Service: We came here on Sunday, 21Jan2024, afternoon around 4PM. A young and good looking (to my fellow lady readers, he's an eye candy) gentleman served us. He was friendly and approachable, always smiling. I could tell he does not bring personal issues while doing his duties. He is genuinely happy serving customers. He also gave us free donuts, two . Thank you! Keep up the good work. Space: This is where the soft serve yogurt (then became the Filipino spot for Spanish Señorita bread) used to be at in the Hercules Sycamore strip along San Pablo avenue (where Shell is at). Space is big enough to accommodate a few customers but note that their tables are restricted to two people - you can always get a chair from the other tables or connect tables, just make sure to ask them if that is alright. They also have a bar type table for those who'd like to watch the street while enjoying their delicious donuts and coffee. Clean space. I love the hanging trailing Pothos plant, it relaxes you, making the place more homey. I'd describe it as chic. Parking: Public parking and it's free. read more
I really had high expectations for this place, but I was sadly disappointed. The donuts are aesthetically pleasing and they have a wide variety of unique flavors. I ordered the banana walnut fritter, blueberry glazed and the Samoa. The Samoa donut was extremely dry and it was your basic old fashioned with the topping added. The banana walnut fritter was an interesting take on the classic apple. It wasn't bad however, it was incredibly sweet. The blueberry was pretty tasty. I've had donuts with better taste and at a cheaper cost at other donut shops. They also have breakfast sandwiches. I may give them another shot and try the breakfast sandwich. read more
