Had the worst experience here yesterday. It took 30 minutes to get two donuts. That is only after being ignored for 10-15minutes, standing in line while online orders were being processed. There were three staff members in total (thin build, Latino male), medium build Filipino female with glasses, and a thin build Asian female). The male was working on an in person order when I walked in, seven to ten minutes later the same woman was standing around waiting for parts of her order - no other in person customer was being assisted. A young woman, who had placed an online order for two coffee drinks asked repeatedly if anyone was going to make her drink order. It took two staff members - Asian female, Latino male) - to help figure it out, each debating who was going to make it. The Filipino female kept coming from the back to bring sandwich items to seated waiting customers. The male continued to look at online orders before helping the family of three in front of me. When their order was finalized, the male walked away from the register and proceeded to look at the online orders. He said nothing to the line, did not acknowledge our presence. He went to the back to make a sandwich - again two staff members working on one thing (Filipino female, Latino male) while in person customers stood and waited. The Filipino female asked what him what was in the bag while standing at the front of the store. The other Asian female was still working on the coffee drinks from the online order from when I first walked in. After about ten minutes of being walked by and disregarded, while waiting to be acknowledged, I asked is anyone going to take our orders at the counter? The male replied, "Yes, but we have a lot of online orders and we'll get to you shortly." So online orders take precedent over those waiting in store to purchase? If this is the case, then why are there only three staff members who are clearly not organized nor serve in the capacity of enough staff to assist customers online and in person? If I had not asked about being helped, no telling how long staff would had continued to ignore us. The Filipino female walked over, asked how my day was and asked what she could get me. After each donut selection shared, anything else?... She was being passive aggressive in her tone and with her words. As I was waiting to select my receipt options, she saiid, "All of that for two donuts" to the male. Who both went into the back while the rest of the building line waited. When I finished my receipt selection and entering my phone number, the father and son behind me were still waiting without any assistance or staff acknowledgement.. If I had not promised my daughter a donut prior to order road trip, I would have left long before. Worse service as it was nonexistent to those in person. There were three staff, two were doing staff and the third at the front was nonexistent. Do better Dynamite, your customer service was absent yesterday, staff not at all prepared or organized and your store is not staffed to assist both online and in person without neglecting in person. Communication was nonexistent as well, leaving customers standing in line without a single word or thought of returning any time soon. Online orders, you'll be waiting too. There were three people who walked in, going directly the register with a phone in their hands. They were waiting two for the pickup while the young lady wanted her coffees made. The ambiance here...people were upset across the board. I would rather drive to Pinole and get service, Dynamite donuts are not worth that wait or nonexistent level of service. read more

Cute local donut shop in our home town of Hercules. We've been here only one time before and just for the donuts, which were delicious as I recall. We just don't eat donuts very often so haven't come back until today. And we came for the coffee! While there was a small line, they have several people behind the counter and we were greeted promptly by a young lady with a smile, asking for our order. We had almond milk lattes and they are quite good, especially considering their main specialty is donuts. However, I like a stronger coffee flavor. Maybe they don't use a dark roast espresso? W had a maple old fashioned and a glazed mochi donut. I had the ube donut with crumble top, which was moist, not too sweet, and oh so yummy! I tried the mochi and it has an interesting and pleasant chew vs the crumble of a cake donut. The donuts are five star all around! And I would give 4.5 stars if I could. But the latte, while very good, are deserving of 4 stars by my rating scale. The service is also 5-star with a friendly team and quick service even with the latte prep. The store is cute! I think we came after the main morning crowd because there was powdered sugar everywhere on the bar where we chose to sit and it was quite sticky. I wiped it down using napkins and the hand sanitizer available at the coffee condiment station, since the staff was busy helping customers. We came for breakfast and coffee on a Sunday morning and was able to beat the crowd! Right after we ordered, a line began to form. My partner ordered a breakfast sandwich which he thought was good, not exceptional, but what you expect from a breakfast sandwich. I had an apple fritter donut and thought it was delicious, the donut itself was light, fluffy, and the perfect amount of sweetness. However, we ordered 2 iced mochas and from the color alone, you can tell that something was wrong. I asked the staff again to confirm if it was an iced mocha and she said it was. The coffee was way too sweet, my guess is that they either used white chocolate or added caramel. So worth it!!! my personal favorite is the glazed donut (sorry not sorry ) than their fritters are pretty tasty as well. Oh and did i mention I have their avocado toast and was very pleased. I discovered this doughnut spot on TikTok when I seen that they had banana. Fritters I immediately got my car and went to try and it did not disappoint. The banana fritter was buttery crispy on the outside soft on the inside full of flavor, but one thing I did not expect was to fall in love with a red velvet cake doughnut I'm not a red velvet person at all, but the person working gave it to me for free cause it was my first time and I've been coming back for those red velvet donuts, ever since it's nice and clean there. We saw several people walking out with cute pink boxes, so we decided, hey why not check the donut shop out while waiting for our drinks? We're so glad we did! Just ordered via Uber Eats because I couldn't leave the house and was craving for donuts. 10/10 donuts & worth every penny for the delivery. The donuts were still very fresh for it being 1:30PM. I figured most places would have slim pickings by that hour. I wasn't too sure about all of their selections of what they had. I put in the comments of what I wanted & they followed accordingly. I really tried my hardest to like this place. I always wanna give my business to the small donut shops because I know it's a challenging time so whenever I have client visits, I use this donut shop as the option and usually spend over $100 on items in every visit. At this point, I've ordered donuts from here at least three or four times. The first time was OK. The second time left a lot to be desired, but these last two instances they entirely forgotten my order. I make it a point to order days in advance, and also not to order immediately when the store opens, I'm thinking about the employees that work there I want to give them time to prep my order which usually consist of six or more dozens of donuts. On today, December 5, I did frequent the donut shop and had placed in advance order to start at 8:15 AM. I arrived early and sat in the parking lot and waited till close to my donut. Pick up time. I went inside at 8 o'clock and inquired about my order and pick up time. The associate had no clue what order I had. She went to the back and came back and said I don't have any order for any donuts under the name, Michael, I went into my email and showed her the purchase history and then she went to a tablet device and printed out a ticket. She then went ahead and started prepping the order. I let them know that it was unfortunate that this was yet again another time where they weren't managing their software appropriately and that my order was being prepped late she said well you came in the store 15 minutes early that's why it wasn't ready. I said had I not come into the store you still would not have had it ready. It's not like you came and said oh yeah we're working on it. Give us 10 minutes. You didn't even know that my order existed. Now and moving forward, I will not be patronizing this donut shop due to the lack of customer service. I would much rather give my money to Dunkin' Donuts or Krispy Kreme, where I think customer service is at the forefront of their model. read more

Summary: I recommend this place. Good food, great customer service, clean and chic place. Food: We ordered Oooh-bae and custard-filled chocolate donuts. Both are moist and just enough sweetness. Good for those who are craving sugar but are also watching sugar level intake. The ube flavored donut had ube flavor. I know I know - duh, right?! No. I've tried so many ube flavored pastries but only tastes sweet. This one though is the opposite. Though the flavor is not strong, it is there. Next time, I'll order the Cookie Monster, Elmo, Unicorn, Panda and other cute donuts. It doesn't have to be a kids party right? An adult could enjoy these. They offer two types of donuts: the regular flour donuts and the cake dough donut. Both are good. We also had medium regular oat milk latte (there is a vanilla latte, hence, "regular") and a black coffee. To my delight, the drink size here is bigger than other places? Well I'm not sure if it's because they are bigger or the server, a young gentleman (more on this guy down at 'Service' section of this review), just hooked us up. Anyway, my latte was 'perfect' - just enough sweetness to curb my craving for a sweet coffee but not diabetes inducing. (BTW, this kept me up the whole night! I literally finally felt sleepy at 730AM the following day when it's time to work. So for those non-coffee drinkers, don't drink this in the afternoon, like the way I did.) Service: We came here on Sunday, 21Jan2024, afternoon around 4PM. A young and good looking (to my fellow lady readers, he's an eye candy) gentleman served us. He was friendly and approachable, always smiling. I could tell he does not bring personal issues while doing his duties. He is genuinely happy serving customers. He also gave us free donuts, two . Thank you! Keep up the good work. Space: This is where the soft serve yogurt (then became the Filipino spot for Spanish Señorita bread) used to be at in the Hercules Sycamore strip along San Pablo avenue (where Shell is at). Space is big enough to accommodate a few customers but note that their tables are restricted to two people - you can always get a chair from the other tables or connect tables, just make sure to ask them if that is alright. They also have a bar type table for those who'd like to watch the street while enjoying their delicious donuts and coffee. Clean space. Relatively new donut shop that has opened up in Hercules. My eyes opened in amazement as I walked through the door. We bought a variety of things, some to eat and some to give out to some family members. I can personally vouch for a rainbow sprinkles cake donut (tender and not dry). We got one with pop rocks on it that we should have eaten right away (ate it the next day and it wasn't very poppy). My daughter loved the Unicorn one. Love the variety they have here.
