I was able to snag a deal on the TooGoodToGo app for a box of donuts from O'Henry's! It was probably my second time using the app and I was so surprised by the amount that was given and the quality of these donuts! The owner, I assume, packed a whole dozen of various donuts into the box and even if they were a day old, you wouldn't have even known! I work at a school, so I shared these with some of the students I work with. The inside was very clean and there were plenty of fresh donuts being displayed. The owner was also very friendly. Was looking for a quick shop to pick up some donuts and found O'Henry's. Right across the street from the casino parking lot. It brought back memories of when I worked at Doctor's Medical Center (fr Brookside Hospital). The shop is your typical donut shop. The owner was really nice. Oh my, these donuts are delicious - though you really shouldn't ask me because I'll eat any donut. I admit I don't think I've had a bad donut, whether it's an organic vegan one or a stale old-school one. I'll eat it. But these were quite tasty, warm with just the right level of moist inside. They're sold in the most generic strip-mall shop possible with a sign that only says DONUTS with nary a mention of O'Henry, whomever he or she or they or it may be. It appeared to be a one-man operation as he popped out just in time to witness my perusal. 8:30am on a Saturday and they had 1 apple fritter left and we nabbed it! This is a small neighborhood donut shop that makes just enough that they sell out and close up at 2pm! I usually see the same person working the counter and she's nice and quick. They really do make great raised crumbs and old fashioned donuts. It's flavorful and has a bit of a crunch to it as I usually get their plain old fashioned . Their maple glaze tastes really good as others have some weird after taste. If you're new in the area, you'll not notice this place immediately. It has a big DONUT sign on its awning roof. Their store sign is on their window pane But don't be fooled by the size of this shop. Was my first time visiting this donut shop and I can say it was a good eat. Walking in there was 1 customer in front of me which I liked because it gave me time to look at the options and pricing. I decided to get a mix of donuts with some glazed, chocolate glazed, and sugar donuts which were all very delicious. I would rate this donut shop a solid 8.5/10 because the donuts were nice and fluffy as-well as a big size. The only downside was the sugar donuts weren't so sweet so some bites did taste plain but Id think it was just a one time thing as all the other ones were delicious. Absolutely delicious donuts. Like a previous post mention, total hole in a wall hidden in a strip of businesses across from the casino. They're donuts are always light, fluffy, and fresh everyday. I have never had a donut from here where it leaves me a greasy residue on my fingers or bloated after a donut. They have everything you want from a local donut shop, glazed, twists, old fashion, holes, apple fritters and then come. My favorite has always been the Chocolate glazed donut, and I must say, there's something about their chocolate glaze that makes it more delicious than other places. Maybe they use more chocolate in their glaze. It's not overly sweet like some of the other places. Go early, before 8 if you want everything you hope for. We were going to see our grandson play in his little league game and wanted to get an assortment of "good doughnuts as a treat after the game for the players and coaches." I found O'Henry Doughnuts on Yelp and liked the comments so decided to be a 1st time customer. Great decision! All their selections looked great! When I told the young lady cashier I was a first time customer she told me I could choose a free donut of my choice too! She was very helpful and acknowledged the next customer that came in the shop so I increased the 12 to 18 doughnuts. UPADTE 5/16/22: I loved the glazed so much I tried to go back. I called the shop to set 2 boxes aside but they just sold out. They sell out earlier than the end of their usual closing time so if you are wanting donuts, go on the earlier side of the day. That's how popular their donuts are and for good reason! If you try their donuts it will spoil your tolerance for anything less than an O'Henry Donut. You'll see, I know I'm convinced. PS: Their hours on Yelp are not accurate so double check before you drive over. She usually closes by 2pm or earlier if they sell out, which happens unexpectedly. Go by 2pm but aim for mid/late morning. I just don't want folks to get mad at them if their hours on Yelp aren't current. Charming little donut shop and I want to support them. Sat 5/14/22: Not enough stars to rate how amazing their glazed raised classic donuts are. I'm still amazed. Fluffy, perfect light crackly glaze. I read some donut shop reviews and people will rave about the donut. I usually don't believe them. But in this case, not exaggerating. This is without compare, the best classic donut I have had in 20 years. They don't make donuts like this anymore. Please try it for yourself. We stumbled across this donut store while visiting a neighboring food location, and were pretty happy to do so. O'Henry doesn't look like much outside, but on the other hand it pretty much matches the look of the stores on both sides of it and so isn't "out of place". There is another donut store about 5-6 minutes away on 23rd St that I used to frequent for years, unfortunately the texture and quality of their donuts became displeasing to me over time. O'Henry reminds me of what I used to enjoy in a donut. We were also happy to discover that O'Henry does flavored milk teas. They aren't quite on the level of those made by a local Vietnamese restaurant about 3 minutes down the road, but they are notably cheaper and the difference in price overrides any perceived difference in taste (O'Henry's gets them made faster too). What I'd really like to see O'Henry's do now is expand their business hours. I don't know what time they open but they close unusually early, in my opinion. Maybe it's family-run and everyone likes to be home for the evening, not home late at night. Still, O'Henry's gives up good treats for the tastebuds. read more

Went in for a donut and coffee, picked out a delicious donut but when I said I wanted coffee the woman behind the counter said they will be closing soon and not making anymore coffee. Although there was 6 pots of coffee on the counter. After paying the woman was telling us "you go now". As we walked towards the door I noticed the hours sign said they are open for another hour so I turned around and even asked permission to sit to eat. She told us "we're closed, you have 5 minutes". Although the donut was good I will not return to this establishment. I watched as they happily waited on other customers of Asian decent but treated us as if we didn't belong there. I like their boba tea! What i usually get twice or more a week is a bottle of Starbucks coffee and few pieces of their donut (good donut!). I treat myself with their boba tea about once a month. It's very rich and it tastes great!! I know I they didn't make my favorite Starbucks coffee bottle here but everything else is a pleasure.
