I had a very disappointing experience at this donut shop this morning. I arrived first and was clearly waiting to be helped, yet the employee blatantly assisted another customer who came in after me. She knew I was there first and still chose to ignore me. It felt completely disrespectful and honestly came across as discriminatory as she will always help whoever the same race as her first. Insane. To make matters worse, it was only 9am and they had already run out of the majority of their donuts. For a donut shop, especially that early in the morning, that's very disappointing. Between the poor customer service and the lack of product, I won't be returning. Way better donut shops out here to be going to one that racially profile people. The worst donuts you'll ever have. Got a French donut for $2.00 and the insides were still raw and doughy. I've tried their other donuts before too and it's crap. Too bad because they have so much potential to sell more especially to neighboring businesses like Kaiser. First time getting donuts from here, was hesitant due to the mixed reviews but I went for it because it was so close to my house. They're actually on Doordash which is where I ordered from and they let me choose which donuts I wanted ! Also ordered the ham and cheese croissant. I ordered for pickup and it took 5 minutes for them to complete my order so I rushed over and skipped the long line (it's a small shop and the line reached outside the door) The staff were really nice and received my order within 2 minutes of getting there. Me and my man get our usual jalapeno bagel with ham, bacon, egg and cream cheese. Always consistent great quick breakfast on the go.

Felt like having a hot drink and since I was already there, I picked up a dozen donut holes as well. First off, they didn't have the French vanilla I wanted, which was fine, so I got their hot coco instead. It was very watered down. Tasted like water with a hint of chocolate. The donut holes weren't all that great either. Probably because they had been sitting there. But it's donuts, and still delicious nonetheless so I kept eating them. I got maybe halfway through the dozen and right as I'm about to eat another, something catches my eye. At first I think it's a crumb from another donut, but as I look closer, I see it's an ANT that was glazed onto the donut!!! Meaning there's ANTS wherever they prepare the food I was so upset. Who knows if that was the only one and I just happened to see that one. So disappointed and definitely never going back. Oh boy! This used to be a great donut shop, run by an energetic young couple. Then management cganged. I ask for a ham and cheese crossant. She asks "heated up?" I say "no thank you" She puts it in the microwave. I stop her. I eat my now half-soggy crossant. Back a week later. "Ham and cheese crossant" "heated up?" "No thank you" She doesnt (yay!) I leave. Start eating crossant. By the time I get to the meat, turns out she gave me a fecken sausage and cheese crossant. Conclusion: I'm staying away from this place as they are incompetent and unable to learn and listen to their customers. read more

Sometimes M goes here on weekend mornings to get two croissants, one with ham and cheese and one plain, and one donut for our daughter. The couple who have run it changes... Not always the same couple. It's packed in this place! Donuts are decent. Croissants have ranged, over the years, from good to amazing. Sometimes they remind me of bread like you'd get from a Chinese bakery. So not French, but really yummy in a different way. Anyway, it's hood-- but it's the closest donut place to the house. This is a all time favorite local hangout! All morning and afternoon, you will find local residents and commuters hanging out and patronizing this donuts shop! The staff is good at crowd control, it's definitely not first class service, but at least they're attentive and get you what you need! I usually stop by here for a ham and cheese croissant. Lee's donuts is the closest donut shop to bart. It's next to foodsco in the corner and is open currently at 5:35. Might open earlier than 5:30, not sure, but the fact that the lady owner wakes up every morning with such a bright and energetic energy gets all her customers days going. She's generous with her hospitality and makes you feel at home. There is also indoor seating which is awesome. She completely fills the donuts with custard which is what I've ordered both times I've come and has 5 different fresh coffee flavors to choose from. Prices are amazing and you feel at home. Great flavor, no slouch on the cheese or jalapeños.... Which I love. Flaky, sweet, large. I own several cafeteria back east, and what I'd do for this recreation, outstanding. I didn't have coffee but the pralines and cream ice cream in their waffle cone is the best in a long while. Last Monday I promised my niece and nephew I'd take them to school since I was off on Mondays, I also promised to take them to Andy's donut shop thats if they wake up early for school so we'd had time, they woke up late so we went to the nearest one to school, they attend Nystrom Elementary.. so its about 8 something in the morning, donut shops are busy at the hour. I felt very rushed, over charged and my croissant was not warmed as thr lady behind the counter had promised, everyone in my vehicle ordered, had about 4 meat and cheese croissant, 6donuts, 3coffees and 2chocalate milks. If you cater to customers who are paying customers, dont treat them like shit, of course we are rushing in the morning to schools, work or where ever but no need to rush us and rip us off, I like to take my time in stride on my days off idgaf if your in a rush because thats how you run your business, I like to review what im paying for and look over my items. I have never spent almost $30's in a freakin donut shop, wtf?! Coffee is like a dollar, the donuts are about a dollar, evetything I bought does not amount up to the amount I paid.
