Usually it comes with a salad like but this one came with 1 beet, 1 slice of tomato and 1 slice of cucumber with a small bag of curtido. No sauce. Sheng Kee is one of my favorite chain brands for Taiwanese/Asian bakeries. Prices are usually reasonable and quality/flavor is consistent. They seem to be a popular regional brand as I've only ever seen them around Northern California.

The customer in front of me said that they always have new things and you never know when they will discontinue something. He enjoyed the chocolate cloud cake. I found out today that I could get a light bake or a dark bake for the Miche. This was very good to know as last week I had a dark bake and it was very bitter. Today I intentionally got a light bake. Right next door is a Peet's coffee shop which is perfect for getting a cup of coffee and enjoying it with their fresh pastries. This is such a cute little neighborhood and the people in line today was all so friendly. I will be coming back to this charming bakery regularly to enjoy their amazing bread and pastries.
