We dropped in while driving from Santa Rosa to Sacramento. Perfect stopping place for a beautiful warm bowl of fire. It looks like it's under new management and it's been remodeled since I've came here in the past. It even has a new name. It's the one a few doors up from the Valerio's and next to the Jollibee. It was just as good. I was disappointed with the amount of seafood they put in my $11 seafood bowl. It had about four shrimp some fish cake and five pieces of calamari. Really not enough protein in my opinion but hey the broth was amazing and that's what I was there for. The staff was great and fun and helpful. read more

We really enjoyed our dinner here. The staff was very attentive and nice, it was a family atmosphere, and the food was excellent. I got a vermicelli noodle dish, and my husband got the one vegetarian entrée they had, a vegetable curry. The other thing that was really nice was that the bill was about half of what we would paid in Benicia at Mai Thai, a Thai restaurant we go to sometimes. Vallejo has a new Vietnamese restaurant. While there are many pho places, this has taken over an old in the shopping area. This pho shop has some different things that you can't find at the other pho places in town. The pho had a great flavor to the broth. It came with a good amount of noodles. I could tell that the thin beef slices were high quality. The marbling on the beef has clear. It was very good. My mom finished the broth in her bowl of pho before the other contents, and the waitress refilled her bowl with more broth. I was very surprised, because I have never seen this before. The bo ne is a dish that you don't usually find at pho places. I've tasted it in Vietnam, and this one can compare. The flavor of the steak slices were really good. The marinade they used was worth dipping the bread it came with. The only thing that would have made that dish better was some pate. It's worth a visit. Try something new. Something different. We got food to go from here, and can say we're probably not going to come back. We got a variety of different Pho and the flavor was lackluster for all of them. Crispy egg rolls were disappointing. I don't think they even had noodles or mushrooms. My go to spot is in American Canyon when I'm craving pho around here and will continue to be. read more

Me and my girlfriend heard about the new Pho place in town. It DID NOT disappoint! We went inside and immediately got a table. We ordered the chicken wings, spring rolls, and the oxtail Pho. We ordered soju for our drink, it was ice cold and delicious! Our food came out almost immediately, it was hot, fresh and tasty. The broth is amazing! You can definitely taste all the flavor. I ordered two items and one was missing entirely for pickup. Super lame. It was during a time when they were not busy at all. Not sure how much more incompetent you have to be for service. Also, the meat has all the fat left in place, which really effects the flavor on the negative side as far as pho goes. The spare rib is nothing special, except for the higher pricing. This rib seemed like it was used to flavor the broth and tasted like the leftover you'd get at the end of making stock. It was bland with no flavor left. My family and I looked for a Vietnamese restaurant in the area and decided on this place because of its great reviews. I didn't have high expectations following there aren't many Vietnamese restaurants in the area. But nonetheless the food was great! We ordered the chicken pho, vermicelli noodles, garlic shrimp and banh xeo and everyone loved what they ordered. The owner took our order and she was very personable. Food was tasty and I love the variety that this restaurant offers compared to other Pho's in town. I visited on the 2nd day of opening so I will need to cut some slack. The restaurant is all new, remodeled, and the decor is super modern with Vietnamese artwork all across the walls. We came early, so they sat us right away and the place wasn't crowded at all. Although there were a few notes I will have to address in my review. -My boyfriend and I ordered 2 milk teas and specified that we didn't want boba but when drinks were brought out, they both had boba. I personally love boba so it wasn't a big deal to me, but my bf on the other hand does not like boba so we had to request that they make him a new drink and reminded them that we originally ordered no boba. They brought drink back and we could tell that they just poured it into another cup, which isn't a big deal (he's not allergic) but there were still a few boba balls in his drink that he had to avoid when drinking. -We ordered a rice plate and it was delicious! Although they did not bring out the side of broth and nuoc mam that is supposed to come with the plate. My bf and I were almost halfway through our meal and it still was t brought out yet.I had to wave the server down to let her know that we didn't receive those items yet. 05/07/24- Tien, Tien, Tien... I miss this place with a very welcoming family atmosphere!! It's been awhile and I have to do my review now before I forget! At first, I felt sad as I don't see the heart of this unique and extraordinary restaurant- the owner Tien! Here we go and pick a spot to sit! While choosing on the menu, I was so glad to see Tien! She is still the same, positive, humble, energetic that most people come back to this business. Aside from all the deliciousness of this authentic Pho restaurant, service is top notch and this is one of the main reasons, customers come back! Tien took the orders- and what amazed me is that she remembered what we order and how we customized our orders. Like for example- the garlic noodles comes with shrimp and she clearly remembers that we like grilled beef with the garlic noodles instead of shrimp. She remembers members of the family and even their names. That right there, says it all! She values customers and gives importance to each and every person who walks and orders in her restaurant! She is a blessing to this community! I may sound exaggerated but she is truly, a one-of-a-kind , genuine person. I never felt her pretending or beng fake just to please her patrons! Ordered garlic noodles with grilled beef, coconut shrimp with yummy warm curry sauce, grilled porkchop with egg, fried roll and shrimp cake, the banh xeo egg thing with sauce, boba drinks- brown sugar, strawberry and mango with lychee jelly. I have so much more to try here! She also has a very nice helper who cleans up the table that always smiles and so friendly! I saw a speaker and looks like there could be some karaoke nights soon! Very impressed by the quality of the food. We ordered the combination pho, grilled pork rice bowl, and spring roll. The pho was exceptional. The broth tasted like homemade beef broth (not from a can), and didn't have that lingering msg taste. And best of all, it had high quality pieces of tendon (my favorite). The grilled pork in the rice bowl was cooked to perfection and not leathery, and generous with vegetables. All the portions were robust. Given the very fair prices, it was a great value! The service was stellar. The food came out very quickly which is key when dining with a five year old. The owner even came to our table to say hello and check on our experience. I was particularly impressed by the use of higher quality dinnerware, stainless steel and ceramic bowls. Lastly, I appreciated that the restaurant was well ventilated. I've always hated having my hair and clothes wreaking of pho after leaving a Vietnamese restaurant. This was not the case here.
