This is a great example of a chain restaurant where not all locations are created equally. Because the experience here was pho-nomenal! I ordered a large No. 5 - the broth was aromatic, rich with the smell of all the herbs - the cinnamon, star anise, cloves, and home-cooked goodness with a plentiful amount of noodles. Also, another bonus is that this place opens early at 9am with lots of seating. We chatted with the owner who was very kind and courteous. Definitely will be back when we're in the area! read more

A8 - 6 pieces of sausage rolls 3 pieces cut in half) so it's good for 2 or more personals. Nice flavor and change of pace compared to traditional shrimp spring rolls. 28A - Wonton noodle soup. The meat-to-wrapper proportion was good and kept its flavor throughout the meal. The egg noodles help to round out this meal. Size small was plenty for one person. 42B - A rice place with BBQ chicken and fried shrimp cake was delicious. The veggies add variety and the rice provides extra filler. 38 - Combo plate provided a lot of variety with the pork, chicken wings, and egg roll. We went on a Monday late afternoon. It wasn't busy so service was attentive. The food came out fast. All items landed on our table around the same time. Ambiance is simple. Take-out orders were popular. My wife and I came in on a cold, foggy Saturday evening looking for something warm to eat and Pho Lee Hoa Phat did not disappoint. I got the #1 Special Combo Pho Soup and my wife got #26 Seafood w/ Egg Noodle Soup. Both were nice and hot which helped warm our chilled bodies. Decor and service is pretty on par with most Vietnamese restaurants. They have good food overall, I do like the broth at another Vietnamese restaurant in Fairfield better. read more

My husband and I walked like at 8:15pm and they closed at 9pm, immediately walking in we felt that energy of them not wanting to attend us. We sat down and literally 2 min after looking over the menu the man walks back and says "ready to order" and then to top it off lecturers us on "walking in late" and "not being ready to order". Who wants to eat while being rushed? One of the worst customer service experience of my life and I've had bad but this was unacceptable and very disturbing. I will never be coming here again. Finally! Legit vietnamese food. Just moved out here from the Bay and it's been tough finding a good vietnamese restaurant. Their portion sizes are huge. Their pork chops... yuuummmmmyyy!! I ordered a side of vinegar onions and the tanginess of them paired perfectly with the pho. My partner ordered the beef pho and the broth was good. We had a DoorDash order where the driver spilled our beef stew broth and acknowledged the mistake but still attempted to complete the delivery. When I called the pho restaurant to explain the issue and ask for help, the staff was rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to assist. They immediately blamed DoorDash and took no responsibility for the food or the customer experience. Mistakes happen, but the restaurant's lack of accountability and poor customer service is what made this unacceptable. This is especially disappointing since we are regular customers who have supported this business many times. Simple actions--such as offering guidance, showing concern, or helping initiate a resolution--could have easily resolved this situation. read more

I always come here for the chicken noodle soup when I'm sick and it's awesome! They separate the ingredients for the to-go orders so nothing gets soggy and they include utensils and some sauce packets to add to your liking. The soup is always made quickly and you don't have to wait long. I called my order in and they said it would be ready in 7-10 minutes and it was ready when I got there in 7 minutes. I believe this is a sister restaurant of the one in Vallejo but called to place an order for pick up. Located close to the Costco Vacaville in a parking Lot close to the freeway and Elmira road. Easy to get to and plenty of parking. I almost made the mistake of entering through the emergency exit. It was easy to place an order over the phone and took about 15-20 minutes for it to be ready on a Sunday afternoon. We ordered spring rolls, vermicelli, rice plate with fish cake. The plates I think with bbq pork and beef. And I ordered the beef ball soup with extra vegetables on the side. We also ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee. It came out to about $60, so fairly priced for a large meal. Quick service and quality Vietnamese food. The inside of the restaurant seemed quite large and I can see this place busy for meals. Similar to Saigon Pho. Maybe a little cheaper and may have a bit more variety of food. I like the pho a little better at Saigon but when they're closed this is a good second. Service is very fast in getting pho out even when they're busy. The bathroom could be kept a little bit cleaner since there usually is a distasteful smell but that doesn't seem to stop the customers from coming in. read more

We were looking for a place to stop between South Lake Tahoe and the Bay Area, and I found an article on SF Gate where this restaurant was mentioned. Then, of course, I checked the Yelp reviews and we decided to give this place a try. It was busy for a Wednesday afternoon, but we were able to get a table. This is a solid Pho restaurant. There are no frills, but the service is quick and the food is great. The broth for the pho is very aromatic and delicious (sorry, no pic, but it's a bowl noodles). Love there is a lot of parking and the food is delicious. I always get the pork vermicelli. I wish there was a smaller portion as it's a lot of food. Also got a lychee frozen boba. I really like the boba and the drink isn't too big. People come in just for the boba. The seating area isn't too small. Came in the later afternoon on a Friday, and it was easy to find a seat. Be prepared to ask for whatever you want. Will come back again. read more

I spent my fair share of time in Vacaville when I was a student at UC Davis, but I don't remember there being much of a (if any) Vietnamese food scene in the area a few plus years ago, so it seems things have changed for the better. I got the fried tofu banh mi, and it's better than any of the 15-something tofu banh mi's I've tried in and around San Francisco. I'm not even saying this because of how affordably the banh mi is priced here, although that's definitely a nice perk! The tofu banh mi specifically is great here because the fried tofu is hot, has a good subtle flavor from the seasoning it's prepared with, and isn't greasy at all. Additionally, the baguette has a nice crispy exterior but is pillowy soft inside, and the veggies are cool and crunchy. This family-run business nailed it. It's not often that I find a café where BOTH the food and drinks are good, but once again, B&B is an exception. The passionfruit green tea is 10/10. It's on par with my favorite boba tea shop in San Francisco's Sunset district but more affordable. I'm only sad this place isn't closer to me, but hey, it gives me something to look forward to next time I'm in the area.

Including a picture of the dish on the menu with double the serving seemed very dishonest. Fresh shrimp chips are served complementary with the meal. The shrimp chips were tasty and flavorful to enjoy while waiting for the food to arrive. The Seafood Laksa was spicy, delicious, and creamy with a strong coconut milk taste. The shrimp were whole shrimp with the head and shell on. There were also hard boiled quail eggs which complemented the seafood well. The noodles were clear noodles which I wasn't expecting, however went well with the soup. Service was average as the employee only served the food. She did not check up on us during the meal, although brought boxes for the leftovers.

We frequent the Vietnamese restaurant, but never really think about going to Tom Yum Goong until today. We were originally going to Pho Lee Hoa Phat for dinner, but when we walked up I asked my son if he want to eat Thai instead which he and my wife decided they wanted to eat instead of Vietnamese. Ambiance (3.5/5 stars): first impressions when we walked in is that it is dark and needed more lighting. After sitting down, I noticed that one side of the restaurant was full of random antique items. I overheard someone asking them about the antiques and the owner said that her husband buys the antiques at estate sales, etc and that they are open to offers to purchase them. There are some Thai decor in the restaurant. Older 70's/80's music was playing in the background so it didn't feel like being in a Thai Restaurant especially with all the American antiques on one side of the restaurant. There are a handful of tables (seating for 4 people), but they do have room for larger parties. Food (4.5/5 stars): We really enjoyed our food. They had great flavors. The portion size was not big, but the price also reflected the smaller portion size compared to other Thai restaurants in town. Dishes: - Mango Salad: nice chunks of mango, mixed with lettuce, cherry tomatoes, red onions, mint, cilantro, carrots, cashews, shrimp and the chef's special mango sauce. It was a nice refreshing dish and was once of our favorite dishes that we ordered today. - Super Pad Thai w/ Chicken: flavorful, authentic Pad Thai flavors - Moo Yang (B.B.Q. Pork): nice tasting grilled pork with sweet chili dipping sauce - Pad Ka Prow (Pad Basil - Beef): nice flavor, had a lot of green beans (not usually in Pad Ka Prow), but I liked the flavors. I always welcome extra veggies. Service (4/5 stars): The waitress/owner was very nice and was pretty attentive overall. She was the only one waiting tables and with take out orders as well as helping some in the kitchen. She came by a few times to check on us and refill our waters. It was a slow night for dinner (~7pm, Friday), only one other table eating and 2 take out orders while we were there, so not sure how the service would have been if they were busy. Food came out relatively quick. Tom Yum Goong is a kind of hidden in Vacaville. They have great tasting food and would be much busier at a better location. They do have smaller portion sizes, but prices do reflect that. Between Vacaville and Fairfield, I feel Vacaville's Thai restaurants are much tastier than any in Fairfield and Tom Yum Goong is no exception. If you are craving some good Thai food, give them a try. You might even find a piece of antique that you may want to purchase.

For the price, I think it's fair. The pho portion is filling and the bowl can be shared depending on the person. I shared one bowl with my partner and it was enough, but not quite enough. If you're splitting with someone who doesn't eat much (or sharing with a child), one bowl can work. But for two adults, I'd recommend getting two bowls. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant also seemed clean -- no bad smells or anything out of the ordinary. As for the food, it was solid. Not the most extraordinary pho I've ever had, but it tasted good and the broth was definitely the highlight. Adding chili really brought it to life. Overall, I'd recommend it if you're looking for decent pho at a fair price.

We got the tamarind prawns and pad Thai, both fine but for me and my friends taste, we couldn't taste tamarind flavor and the pad Thai was missing some oomph. I have a friend who really likes this place. To each their own! Maybe I didn't order the right items. They do have an extensive menu I feel. They have outdoor dining , and are in an outdoor strip mall with ample parking.

I typically love this restaurant and all the waiters and buskers positive attitude. Really disappointed in Soren. I wish I could've spoke to management.

It was a 5 minute drive, located in a small shopping center. The left side of the store is facing the parking lot while the entrance is on other side. Plenty of parking. We were welcomed by the owner, Safi. Everything on their menu was reasonably priced. I initially ordered the Combo Plate and lamb & beef Gyro; then after I paid, I saw the Philly Cheesesteak and had a craving for that instead. I asked if I could still change my order and pay the difference in cash, Safi changed my order and told me not to worry about the difference. We dined in, a few minutes later our food came with generous portions and absolutely delicious! We were also given orange slices and complimentary baklava. The baklava was so flaky and not soaked in syrup which, I like. I asked if they make their own baklava and was told that it's ordered from Sacramento to support another local business! Thank you Yelp Fam for the recommendation! I too recommend this place if ever in Vacaville.

I failed to get a photo, but we also got takoyaki. I don't recommend this dish from here. The sauce was watery. And there were few tiny bits of octopus inside. Otherwise this place is a perfect stop from outlet shopping to get your boba fix.
