Beef Fried Rice Crab Meat Cheese Wonton (6) Chicken Chow Fun Sweet & Sour Chicken

The food was really good! The sweet and sour chicken was crunchy and sweet, and the fried rice was the perfect size to eat and also tasted really good! My favorite was the crab cheese wontons! A little on the sweet side, but suuuper creamy!

This place is delicious! The fried rice is how I like it, simple and flavorful without all the peas/carrots haha. The salt and pepper fish was delicious and a great source of nutrients after a workout. Prices are cheap too!

This has been my go to spot for years for takeout Chinese here in Vallejo ! Don't know why it has taken me so long to review them. The staff is always very kind and the food is prepared in a timely manner. The Salt and pepper Ribs are my fiancés favorite and my go to is the chow mein. I have tried almost everything and none of it disappoints. If you love spicy ask for their chili paste! I have never dined in before and inside is always pretty empty but I believe you can dine it at certain times.

    Orange chicken. Delicious and beautiful.

Amazing every time I come here. Service is perfect and the presentation of the food is so gorgeous you almost don't want to eat your food!! :) everything is so fresh. Chicken cashew, orange chicken, sesame chicken and the broccoli beef are my favorite, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menue! It's a great place for a date nice and quiet and totally authentic. Sketchy area tho so watch your back. Prices are great too!

    Rotten smelly eggfuuyung

My family loved this place so I have no reason to write a bad review, but today 03/15/26 my son brings my order home and the eggfuuyung was bad, it was rotten! I had 2 bites of it and realized it tastes rotten then I started poking at it, and smelled it and sure enough it was full-blown rotten! They tried to cover it up with the sauce and the shrimp and mushrooms, but it didn't work because the inside of the eggfuuyung was rotten you can clearly smell it once I opened it up to investigate. There is no way to cover that up no matter how much you try, I called the place right away to let them know and the girl that answered the phone tells me no and hangs up on me! Disgusting, and unprofessional!

Great ambience, really nice paintings on the wall and the lighting is chill. The food is very reasonably priced and can serve multiple people for a small price. The servers are very kind and prompt, resulting in an overall great experience. I would heavily recommend going here at some point if in town for a quick meal.

salt & pepper fish filet, dry braised green beans (spicy)

I was craving for some good Chinese food and remembered China Wok. I forgot how the food was, so we decided to dine in on a Friday (11/15/24, 5pm). It's in a small corner spot in the downtown area of Vallejo. The dine in area is small, but decent and clean. We decided to try the basics first which was chicken chow mein, beef broccoli, shrimp fried rice and the salt & pepper fish filet. All the dishes we ordered was good. So, we went back again the following Friday (11/22/24) and tried the dry braised green beans, which was spicy, sweet n sour pork spare ribs and my favorite salt & pepper fish filets. Did not disappoint and the sweet & sour pork ribs was lip smacking good ( if you like that sweet saucy taste). The service as well was good and friendly. Can't wait to try other dishes...

It's a small, strip mall restaurant with plenty of parking. The decor is unique with the owner's love of Lego! Her creations are displayed everywhere in the restaurant. Every time we come in, tables are pretty full. They need more wait staff to handle the crowd. Peak weekend hours like Friday evenings are crazy busy for takeout. They are so popular sometimes their phone is turned off in order to handle the orders. So for takeout during those times, you have to go in person, wait in a long line the length of the restaurant to place an order, then find a seat or wait outside for up to an hour. Meanwhile the tables are full of customers dining. Why do people go through with this when you see other restaurants in the area empty at dinner hours? The food is good and worth the wait. We try to plan our eat-in dining at 3 Star outside of the crowded times, even coming from as far as Fairfield. Dad loves the Beef with Bitter Melon, his favorite dish that Mom used to cook. I don't think we've had a bad dish here, so order whatever you like. OK, the Tomato Beef Pan-fried Noodles is too tomato-saucy red and sugary sweet. My favorite is the Seafood Pan-fried Noodles. Their Chinese Mushrooms with Chinese Vegetables is also good, but they only have bok choy and Dad likes gai lan / Chinese broccoli. The Garlic Sauce Chicken Wings are spicy and really tasty. Next time we'll try their Garlic Chicken Wings since they look so good in photos. 3 Star's super nice owner is very sweet to 94-year old Dad, and treats him very special. Once she even gave us an extra order that a customer said was wrong because she was allergic to shrimp. She also gives us the deep fried Chinese sesame balls for dessert. Maybe everyone gets them?

We had a large group of 12 people so, we did call in for a reservation for 5pm, but they weren't busy on an early Friday evening, however they had a steady stream of take out orders. The wings are always a must get here. They offer combinations of Chinese and Filipino dishes. Their portion size of food is big for the price. We ordered 3 plates of their garlic sauce wings (12 per plate), 2 plates of shrimp fried rice, 1 plate of beef chow fun, 2 order of lumpia Shanghai (20 pieces each), 2 plates of sweet and sour pork, 1 plate of garlic string beans and 1 crispy pata. That was the perfect amount that fed the 12 of us, everyone had a full belly and none to take home. Food overall was not the best, really good. Service was much better today than the last time I went when they were super packed with extreme amounts of take out orders. Had a good dining experience at 3 Star today. Will definitely come back for dine in or take out in the future when I am in the area.

Getting really tasty Chinese food is even harder. Szechuan Chinese Cuisine in Vallejo has bold, intense, and complex flavors. Originating from the Sichuan province of China, Sichuan food combines fiery red chilies with the signature Sichuan peppercorn which produces a unique, tingling buzz on the lips and tongue. Whether the food here is authentic Sichuan cuisine, I don't know because I've never been to China. However, the food here has all the flavours that satisfies my tummy: fragrant, hot, salty, sweet, aromatic, deep umami flavours defined by cooking on very hot stove. The service here is excellent and nearly all the dishes were well thought out. They offer deeply layered dishes that goes far beyond simple heat. The only dish that did not satisfy me fully was the pork chop. I just couldn't sink my teeth in it, but the flavours sure are prominent. Overall, this is a place worth visiting. I remember meeting an out of town friend here for lunch back in the mid-1990's. It was dinner time (6pm) and the place was empty. The hot food steam table was no longer in use. They have the same old style tables and booths. I was greeted by my server/waitress Janet, and she offered me a booth by the window. Service was great! Grade (5/5).....because for about 30-mins, I was the only customer in the dining room. They had lots of pickup and delivery orders. My server told me they lost alot of business after they raised prices. I ordered Wor Won Ton Soup and Walnut Prawns. The Walnut Prawns were very good. The prawns were fresh and plump. The sauce was creamy and the flavor was good. You get 14 prawns and lots of chopped walnuts. Price: $14.95. The Wor Won Ton Soup was average.
