Best walnut prawns and lemon chicken Super quick and friendly service! Huge portions Clean dining area

a take out container with noodles and meat

There isn't much not to like here. The prices are fair, the portions are big, the food is quality. The chow mein and fried rice are a bit lacking but other than that, the entrees are delicious and plentiful. I usually have a hard time deciding on what to get here but I'm never disappointed. Another hidden gem in Vallejo for those in the area, looking for Chinese food.

Brocolli beef and cho mein

Just came here for a lunch special, food was pretty sloppy and I won't be back again, feel like it was a waste of money which is strange because there was a line at the door. There were flies all over the place and the cashier wasn't very friendly although the worker serving the food was nice I wouldn't recommend this spot.

The food is so tasty. The Barbecue Pork always one thing I order. The service can stand a little more brushing up.

We had been hearing about this spot from our friends in Vallejo for a while--they always rave about…read morethe garlic soy wings and even say they're better than San Tung in San Francisco. On top of that, former Golden State Warriors player Festus Ezeli has been here and said he loved the wings, so we had to check it out while we were in the area. When we got there, it was already busy, but we were glad we were able to get a table right away. Good thing we came when we did, because a wait started forming shortly after. We did have to wait a bit for our food, but it was understandable--they had a steady flow of call-in and DoorDash orders going out. We ordered the garlic soy wings, salt and pepper fish, and shrimp fried rice. First off, the shrimp fried rice actually had real, good-sized shrimp--not those tiny ones you sometimes get--which we really appreciated. The wings were flavor town: crispy, packed with flavor, and super satisfying. Even though you can see peppers in the dish, there wasn't really a spicy kick, which is different from San Tung, where there's usually a slight heat. That said, even without the spice, these wings absolutely live up to the hype. The salt and pepper fish was also a standout--crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Overall, I can see why people compare this place to San Tung. They're both delicious, just in their own way.

I'd heard about this place before it popped off on social media, but finally tried it after seeing…read moreall this talk about the garlic sauce chicken wings. While it was good, I believe that it doesn't compare to San Tung's because it's in its own league. The wings here were less saucy, but crispy. Different flavor to San Tung's wings and I kinda wish food influencers didn't compare the two, but instead just highlighted this place for its good food and awesome decor (Lego sets!). My bf and I also tried the pineapple fried rice, which was recommended to us by my friend (Vallejo native who frequented 3 Star), the garlic string beans, and salt and pepper prawns. My favorite dish was the salt and pepper prawns, but everything was flavorful and delicious to us. The food tasted clean, not heavily oiled. We went during dinnertime on a Friday and there were a lot of phone-in and to-go orders, so they were busy. There were only like 2 people working in the front, so service was a bit slow. We didn't mind because we understood how busy they were! We would love to come again and try more foods.

V1 Grilled Turmeric Chicken - Wow, what a beautiful presentation; see pictures. With good flavors and generous portions, but I felt it needed a little more noodles? Or less lettuce? Semi open kitchen, and amazing clean, especially for being 5 years new! See picture. Single unisex clean modern restroom. Open 5 days a week from Wednesdays to Sundays from 11am to 8pm. Great job and keep up the good work. Price - $30 + generous tip. Cash discount available. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2020. What a great find! Not sure if there is a plan to eventually, but they do not sell/serve alcohol at the location. We will be back soon!

320 Fairgrounds Dr Vallejo, CA 94589…read more Annie's Panda Garden has seen better times. This restaurant has been around for a very long time. I remember meeting an out of town friend here for lunch back in the mid-1990's. The place has old school decor, and a great location near the freeway and down the road from the Discovery Kingdom Park. I was there on a Saturday over Labor Day weekend. It was dinner time (6pm) and the place was empty. The hot food steam table was no longer in use. They have the same old style tables and booths. I was greeted by my server/waitress Janet, and she offered me a booth by the window. Service was great! Grade (5/5).....because for about 30-mins, I was the only customer in the dining room. They had lots of pickup and delivery orders. My server told me they lost alot of business after they raised prices. I ordered Wor Won Ton Soup and Walnut Prawns. The Walnut Prawns were very good. The prawns were fresh and plump. The sauce was creamy and the flavor was good. You get 14 prawns and lots of chopped walnuts. Price: $14.95. The Wor Won Ton Soup was average. This is my favorite dish to order. My bowl had 8-9 dumplings, lots of bok choy, some shrimp, and some beef and chicken strips. The broth was mild. I wouldn't order this again. Price: $11.95. Food Grade (3/5). There's only one working restroom. It was clean, but was very stuffy. They had the window locked shut, so no fresh air. The restaurant looks rundown from the outside. It could use some fresh paint. Grade (2/5). Off-street parking. Overall, 3-stars. Good location near freeway, less than 2 miles from Kaiser Hospital, and down the road from Discovery Kingdom. Would I return? Yes! Old school Chinese food at reasonable prices. Fairgrounds Drive goes straight to the freeway heading South.
