    Sesame chicken!

Another amazing dinner at the China Barn. The food was piping hot, with tons of fresh meat, seafood and veggies and nice sized serving! Quick service and best flavors around; the food is superb!!! We ordered all the staples and was plenty for dinner and lunch the next day. Started with dumplings, crab puffs and won ton soup then had Mongolian beef, honey walnut prawns and Kung pao chicken and sweet and sour pork. I can't even pick a fave dish, they are all equally amazing! If you haven't tried it, you're missing out! Available for delivery or carry out, no dining in since Covid.

You see the pieces that are burnt yes it was through out my rice

They burnt my shrimp fried rice which I felt could be a fixable problem it don't take too much time to do me another fried rice but instead they sold me the burnt fried rice and by the time I did eat my rice they were closed I was so upset you guys know when you burn one popcorn kernel all the popcorn taste burnt well that exactly how my rice tasted Do better and stop trying to make a quick buck you never know if it's someone last dollar they spend to eat and can't even eat it smh!

I"ve order 4 times during this pandemic to Nee China Barn and I've never stepped inside this place ( always delivery). Sad... since im a very short distance away but I rather keep the mystery! The food has been especially tasty here so why ruin it when I cant have a full indoor dining experience. Things to definitely have from the menu 1. Sesame Chicken...get two orders...worth it 2.Szechuan Pork...nice mix of veggies and meat with a kick 3. Beef Chow Fun...chow mein 2nd best... Haven't done me wrong as of yet...so I'll keep ordering!

It's a small, strip mall restaurant with plenty of parking. The decor is unique with the owner's love of Lego! Her creations are displayed everywhere in the restaurant. Every time we come in, tables are pretty full. They need more wait staff to handle the crowd. Peak weekend hours like Friday evenings are crazy busy for takeout. They are so popular sometimes their phone is turned off in order to handle the orders. So for takeout during those times, you have to go in person, wait in a long line the length of the restaurant to place an order, then find a seat or wait outside for up to an hour. Meanwhile the tables are full of customers dining. Why do people go through with this when you see other restaurants in the area empty at dinner hours? The food is good and worth the wait. We try to plan our eat-in dining at 3 Star outside of the crowded times, even coming from as far as Fairfield. Dad loves the Beef with Bitter Melon, his favorite dish that Mom used to cook. I don't think we've had a bad dish here, so order whatever you like. OK, the Tomato Beef Pan-fried Noodles is too tomato-saucy red and sugary sweet. My favorite is the Seafood Pan-fried Noodles. Their Chinese Mushrooms with Chinese Vegetables is also good, but they only have bok choy and Dad likes gai lan / Chinese broccoli. The Garlic Sauce Chicken Wings are spicy and really tasty. Next time we'll try their Garlic Chicken Wings since they look so good in photos. 3 Star's super nice owner is very sweet to 94-year old Dad, and treats him very special. Once she even gave us an extra order that a customer said was wrong because she was allergic to shrimp. She also gives us the deep fried Chinese sesame balls for dessert. Maybe everyone gets them?

We had a large group of 12 people so, we did call in for a reservation for 5pm, but they weren't busy on an early Friday evening, however they had a steady stream of take out orders. The wings are always a must get here. They offer combinations of Chinese and Filipino dishes. Their portion size of food is big for the price. We ordered 3 plates of their garlic sauce wings (12 per plate), 2 plates of shrimp fried rice, 1 plate of beef chow fun, 2 order of lumpia Shanghai (20 pieces each), 2 plates of sweet and sour pork, 1 plate of garlic string beans and 1 crispy pata. That was the perfect amount that fed the 12 of us, everyone had a full belly and none to take home. Food overall was not the best, really good. Service was much better today than the last time I went when they were super packed with extreme amounts of take out orders. Had a good dining experience at 3 Star today. Will definitely come back for dine in or take out in the future when I am in the area.

Getting really tasty Chinese food is even harder. Szechuan Chinese Cuisine in Vallejo has bold, intense, and complex flavors. Originating from the Sichuan province of China, Sichuan food combines fiery red chilies with the signature Sichuan peppercorn which produces a unique, tingling buzz on the lips and tongue. Whether the food here is authentic Sichuan cuisine, I don't know because I've never been to China. However, the food here has all the flavours that satisfies my tummy: fragrant, hot, salty, sweet, aromatic, deep umami flavours defined by cooking on very hot stove. The service here is excellent and nearly all the dishes were well thought out. They offer deeply layered dishes that goes far beyond simple heat. The only dish that did not satisfy me fully was the pork chop. I just couldn't sink my teeth in it, but the flavours sure are prominent. Overall, this is a place worth visiting. This eatery looks clean and well maintained. I took a peek in the kitchen and everything seem to have its place. Emily was our server. She's a delightful lady with positive energy. The portions are very generous, and I usually have enough leftovers for a second meal. Overall, a great local spot with good value and consistently satisfying food!

You can also specify if you want certain items to go, which was perfect because we were eating some things there and taking some items to family. We ordered the following for there: Pork XLB, Shrimp Pork Shaomai, Garlic Green Beans, and Chocolate XLB. The following was ordered to go: Wonton Soup, Pork Bun & BBQ Pork Bun. It's not a huge space, most of the tables are on the left side of the restaurant. A large portion is the food prep / behind the counter area. I had the milk tea to drink. It was fine, nothing special, but I hadn't had one in a while so I enjoyed it with my meal. I also thought the Chocolate XLB was interesting. It was melted/gooey chocolate inside the skin/wrap. It was a nice finish to the meal. I think most of the items were more a 4 for me, but since I loved the XLB so much, it's a 5 rating.

I remember meeting an out of town friend here for lunch back in the mid-1990's. The place has old school decor, and a great location near the freeway and down the road from the Discovery Kingdom Park. I was there on a Saturday over Labor Day weekend. It was dinner time (6pm) and the place was empty. The hot food steam table was no longer in use. They have the same old style tables and booths. I was greeted by my server/waitress Janet, and she offered me a booth by the window. Service was great! Grade (5/5).....because for about 30-mins, I was the only customer in the dining room. They had lots of pickup and delivery orders. My server told me they lost alot of business after they raised prices. I ordered Wor Won Ton Soup and Walnut Prawns. The Walnut Prawns were very good. The prawns were fresh and plump. The sauce was creamy and the flavor was good. You get 14 prawns and lots of chopped walnuts. Price: $14.95. The Wor Won Ton Soup was average. This is my favorite dish to order. My bowl had 8-9 dumplings, lots of bok choy, some shrimp, and some beef and chicken strips. The broth was mild. I wouldn't order this again. Price: $11.95. Food Grade (3/5). There's only one working restroom. It was clean, but was very stuffy. They had the window locked shut, so no fresh air. The restaurant looks rundown from the outside.
