Came here on a Thursday afternoon and it was empty when we walked in, so our order didn't take that long even with popcorn chicken (5-7 minutes). They had PLENTEA of options for everyone. Lots of tables for groups and even a small claw machine! Really clean environment. I noticed they had a list of their top items like their galaxy series and strawberry matcha. There's also a make your own boba drink with different tea / fruit tea options, which you can't go wrong with if you're aren't feeling anything else on the menu. They also had a "secret menu" where they have Dubai chocolate strawberry cups, which I wish I saw sooner before ordering boba like second nature... Anytime I try a new boba place, I opt for an oolong milk tea but they didn't have that. I got the wintermelon milk tea with boba and I was pleasantly surprised. Decent tea flavor and the boba was soft & a bit chewy! Quite yummy. The Thai tea tasted a little more plain compared to what I have had before, but it is a classic choice. I noticed they had cheese foam after I ordered and the gentleman at the counter was very accommodating and said it was on the house. This is a new boba shop in the Fairfield area and i'm so glad to have been able to try it out. I was actually pretty excited so I ordered quite a bit of food. I wanted better photos of the menu, but it was quite difficult as the menus are located on screens and it just doesn't look the best. I hope they are working on their website so we can start doing online orders as well as view their menu. In regards to the first time I went, I would've preferred a menu that provided a description of the specialty drinks, because I wasn't sure what the contents of each drink was. I asked the staff quite a few questions, but they were patient with me so I appreciated that. However, I have gone a few times after this and they do have a description near the register of all their specialty drinks now. Things i ordered: Mangonada: This is one of my favorite drinks from boba places if they have it. If i knew the exact contents, i would've replaced the popping boba with lychee jelly or regular boba, but i didn't realize. However, the drink itself was delicious. Spam Musubi: I thoroughly enjoyed the spam musubi! I loved that their sauce wasn't the "typical" sauce. They added their own touch and it was perfect! Calamari: I was not a fan of these. The calamari had a very thick breading and I found it to be too heavy. They were crispy, but I do prefer my calamari with a lighter breading. Hmong Sausage: I typically eat Lao sausage and I would lovee to find a local spot that offers it. This was my first time ever having Hmong sausage and I was very curious about the difference. Let me just tell you.. This is a MUST TRY!! I LOVEDDD IT ! The amount of sticky rice they give you is quite a bit, but the sausage itself was so flavorful and gingery. Their spicy sauce was a bit more watery than I would've preferred, but it was actually spicy and garlicky. So the flavor was definitely there, but I'm more used to a thicker consistency. We love boba. We went to the 4th of July festivities at the waterfront. They had a little tent there. The ladies were nice. Hubby ordered a brown sugar boba. A little expensive. :/ he also said it was too sweet. They didn't ask him what sweetness level he wanted (like share tea does). We may try the store- but only if we can change the sweet levels. We also tried the lumpia which comes out crispy, the pepper steak which is mild but flavorful. The pork belly with greens is perfect for the KETO/ low carb people out there and the chicken fried rice is the perfect comfort food for cold days. Yet another new boba spot that popped up in the Fairfield area! Boba Luv took over the vacant spot that used to be another boba place, Bobo Drinks several years ago. It's Hmong-owned and the menu features Hmong and Laotian dishes, along with your usual boba snack fare. The decor inside is cute, and I enjoyed the Twice music they were playing haha. I ordered the green tea kumquat drink with boba at 25% sweetness. It was tart and tangy, but it was definitely not 25% sweet. A bit too sweet for my liking, but maybe I'll try something else next time. The boba texture was too soft and slightly mushy, didn't exactly have the perfect chewy texture. Maybe it was an off day but I'll give another drink a next try. I also got the popcorn chicken and garlic fries. I was expecting the popcorn chicken to be Taiwanese style, but it still tasted good. The chicken was juicy and coated with some sort of starch, then fried. It was seasoned well, unfortunately since I drove back home 10 mins away, the food wasn't crispy and got soggy. Nothing that an air fryer can't fix, but maybe the snacks are best enjoyed on site. Okay so I finally made my way to try this boba shop that I've had saved for a while! I ordered a blended taro and a brown sugar milk tea both with boba topping. The service was nice they were younger girls who were nice and offered me assistance in ordering. The inside was cute and simple although it was a little busy so I wasn't able to get any good pictures. Now to the drinks. They were a solid 3/5. The flavor was good but it was a little bit too sweet for our liking. Next time I'll take it down all the way to ensure that doesn't happen again and to give it another chance. The boba topping was a 1/5. It was flavorless and a little tough so I was disappointed. I'm hoping this was a one off and it'll be better next time. Went to the grand opening and got to try the following flavors: Honeydew Matcha Dirty tiger (orange) Taro heaven (purple) Mango paradise All of them were amazing, I also have recently tried their pina colada I thought it was a bit sweet, but you can adjust sugar levels so maybe next time I can get it with less sugar. Their Thai tea was watery, I was a bit disappointed as I love Thai tea, but again, adjusting ice and sugar levels might help. Service is great! The first few times we went they took a while to serve drinks, but recently service has been faster and you receive drinks sooner. I'm so happy they are located close to me. I ordered strawberry matcha with boba and once I got it, I noticed there was no color to my drink, like you wouldn't be able to tell it was strawberry matcha just by looking at it. They didn't put a lot of strawberries and the matcha wasn't distinct. It was watered down even though I didn't have it sitting for so long. They were made from calamari steaks (recognized the difference from past trip to the Caribbean) and not from the small tentacles. The popcorn chicken and fries were delicious too. I like the accessibility of this shop near Mad Alpaca, Trader Joe's and Michael's. Drink was a little sweet considering I asked for 50% sweet.
