Not sure what happened to the Squeeze In but I'm so sad. Number one clue should have been the fact it wasn't busy? What happened??? I took my aunt to have breakfast ( I had been bragging about this place for a long time ) because she lives in Turlock we decided to go today. $40 for two people. Coffee was really bad, tasted like it had been on the heating plate too long. The avocado on my omelette had a lot of black in it obviously too ripe and the spuds I couldn't even eat. They were GROSS!! so sad. My aunt bought the breakfast and said for that price she expected a lot more quality. I thought the same thing and felt bad she felt like she wasted her money and a chance at a decent breakfast. Note: The amount of dirt and grime around the edge of floor and under the clock near the tables at entrance is horrible!!! Why in the world would you keep brooms and dustpans in the dining area where people are eating. Leaning up next to a booth???. I wanted to walk but we had already ordered. It is just not sanitary at all We won't be returning and I can't say I would recommend the place to anyone either. read more

Not really good don't understand the hype of this place would of been better off making my own breakfast. Food is really flavorless customer service isn't good. Wouldn't recommend this place. Better places. Also the price isn't worth the food was a waste of money. read more

Small, laid back happy environment. Great food happy people! Loved it. I had the randy Tandy very delicious fresh ingredients and extra cheese! My friend had the shake and bake had so many olives and cheese he only could eat a portion. So they are not afraid to fill your tummy. Only downside the ice tea seemed a few hours old and not to much ice in our drinks. read more

Great brunch. YAY for Vegan options! Mimosas by the pitcher for the win. Friendly service. Easy parking. Only thing that really can be improved upon is the outdoor patio ambiance. The chairs are uncomfortable, and it needs some decor. read more

The food is fantastic, the portions are very large. There always busy but its wirth it.

Bright, friendly and welcoming. Not many tables but we didn't have a wait. Vegan menu items! We were so happy to find a restaurant with vegan items on the menu that we didn't have to have specially made for us. They even had almond milk creamer for my coffee. I hope other restaurants follow in their footsteps. Great food, super friendly staff. Restrooms were clean and stocked. We will definately return when we are in town. Thank you! read more

Due to the way the owner treated us today when we expressed to her how bad our service was, we will no longer be customers to squeeze in. Orders were wrong, never got refills that were offered to us. The worst part was that our children's food was the last to be brought to the table. It took a hour just to get a bowl of fruit for my toddler. We brought this up to the owner who had been the one serving us and it was completely flipped on us that we weren't being sympathetic human beings towards her and we weren't being fair or cared about her business. She offered us 50% off our meals and we were adamant that that was unacceptable. When we finally agreed to pay ( because I was done letting our kids listen to this ) she said she didn't want our money and walked away. I'm still so shocked by what happened. I understand everyone has bad days/ makes mistakes but that doesn't mean you can treat customers that way. I myself have worked in customer service for years. No reason or excuse for the behavior we witnessed today. read more

I met a friend here for lunch for our first visit. Greeted by a friendly server upon entering and given a choice of seating. Ordered a beverage while I waited for my friend. I frequented the original Squeeze In in Truckee, CA since it opened, so I am familiar with the menu. If you aren't, be prepared to peruse it for a bit. So many delicious offerings! After being assured by Jared that we should take our time to visit, my friend tackled the menu. We both decided on the Danco Taco Salad, mine with ground beef and my friend chose grilled chicken and our own choices for salad dressing. I'm glad we ordered the half salad option because it was perfect! Delicious, well seasoned and all ingredients were fresh. If you haven't visited yet be sure to stop in for some friendly service, a cool vibe and yummy food. I'm so glad Kathy brought Squeeze In to Modesto! read more

Was just ok, dont see what all the hype is about. The portions were generous. I liked that they played music. The staff was attentive and friendly. Didn't use the restroom. Good location next to grocery store. Clean plaza parking lot. Outside seating available. read more

We went in on a Saturday around 10:45am and it was pretty busy. We were a group of 6 adults and one child, and I just want to point out that this place is NOT good for groups of more than 4. We waited almost an hour for a table because their tables only accommodate 2-4, from what I could see. I think there was one table that fit 6 but that one was taken. The servers were friendly though and they checked in on us-they offered to seat us when two tables that opened up, but they were on opposite sides of the restaurant. I ordered the Spanish flay omelette and saw it came with a side of potatoes so I asked the waitress "It looks like there are potatoes inside the omelette and if there are, I'll choose a different side so I don't have two servings of potatoes" and she said "No there are no potatoes inside the omelette." I kind of insisted that there were and said they're even pictured on the menu but she insisted there were not, so I went ahead and ordered it with the potatoes. Of course when the omelette arrived it had potatoes already in it lol. So I was stuck with ALOT of potatoes. My bf ordered the racy Tracy omelette, a friend had the hangover omelette, and we all enjoyed them. The eggs were fluffy and cooked perfectly. As far as prices, a few dollars more than you might pay at Denny's but much better food. So other than the minor inconvenience of not getting the chance to order a different side and the wait, I would definitely come back:) read more

We checked it out today after church and the place was packed! I was amazed! The service crews are all very polite and very welcoming. Food is good too. All the ingredients are fresh. My only comment is that the food that I ordered, The Spanish Flay omelette, its a little under seasoned. Also the side dish County Potatoes. Maybe putting a little salt and pepper, or some herbs and spices perhaps? Over all everything is good, coffee is good and freshly brewed. Love it! read more

"Food Network, Bobby Flay and signature dish"these are all the words and phrases you hear and think positively and hold to a high standard coming to "Squeeze inn". my sister and her significant other had a great first visit and planned this Sunday brunch with this awesome recommendation to all catch up with the family, my father who drove from san jose and I driving from redding California to try this place out to end our weekend before we all part our separate ways. We first come into the equation of looking at the menu for 10min waiting for our drinks to be ordered. We then start off with the "baby bannannas" that was mashed kindly the first visit my sister said but were in big chunks for my 6month nephew to eat. We then get the bacon bennidict (my mother and i) we come to figure out our poached eggs were hard boiled on both of our plates... so thats two times they had a chance to accomplish this. My sister ordered the Juevos rancheros, "Wheres the Juevo!?" It's completely gone, my sister brings it to the waitress attention. My sister tries to make light of the subject.... with a laugh but the waitress just grabs the plate... no apology just looks and 180 to the kitchen and comes back literally 1min later and says "its not the prettiest but here you go" LMAO WHAT DID SHE JUST SAY? this time the egg whites are completely raw, we also ordered the cream cheese french toast which tasted spoiled like the cream cheese turned. at this point our frustration just turns this situation into a comedy. The "laughing at you" kind of comedy. Thanks for the great story "SQUEEZE inn" I appreciate the memory! These are the types of things that make great brunch stories! One waitress finally asked how everything was. We then spilt the beans, she sincerely apologized All in all, maintain then same standard for every customer! My sister was embarrassed that she held you guys to a great standard the first time and second time was a flip flop. read more

We went for a birthday breakfast on Saturday and we had six people. Took us about an hour to be seated due to only having a couple tables outside that seat six. The food was very good and with a group like this the mimosas in the pitcher was the best way to go. I will probably go back soon because their menu is huge and want to try a couple other items. read more

Came here for breakfast on Saturday morning. We were told it would be 10 to 15 minute wait for 3 people, but we waited for exactly 30 minutes. We ordered the Spanish flay, my big fat Greek omelette, and queen maggie. The prices are a little high but you do get big portions. The food tasted okay, nothing that makes you say wow I need to come back! They do have outdoor seating and inside is really small so I wouldn't come back when it's super busy. Overall it was okay. read more

Came in today for there grand opening. It was crazy busy as expected because they were giving free food and mimosas away . Got there at 1120 didn't sit down until after 1 . The hostess was extremely nice and gave us mimosas while we waited. When we finally were seated we were starving! My friend ordered eggs Benedict with side biscuits gravy I got the racy tracy omelette no mushrooms add jalapeños. When they brought our food out it was cold but tasted delicious so we did not care . But as soon as I got into my omelette it was full of mushrooms and no jalapeños. So I told waiter and he told us it was his mistake he forgot to mention no mushrooms. Ok so I said we were in a hurry because now it's 2:04 and we have been there since 11 and we have to pick up our kids from school. So just please bring me a sandwich Togo . I ate a couple bites of my friends biscuits and gravy . Now the waiter was acting like it was an inconvenience to get us the right order and was kind of rude. Plus he kept disappearing. So the home fries were delicious. Biscuits and gravy he was good. I wish I could've tried the omelette because it looked delicious . The turkey club was just OK I've had better . I asked for avacodo and again they forgot to put on there .garlic fries were very good . So I know it was the first day for Squeeze In . So I want to give them another chance. I look forward to coming back and trying a omelette when it's not so busy and hopefully the service will be better. read more

The service at your Modesto location was fantastic. They customized the order for my son-in-law to meet his dietary needs. I had wheat toast and forgot to order it dry. Not a problem. Really good food and service but only giving a 3 star because when your paying for orange juice you expect a facility called "squeeze in " to have fresh squeezed orange juice .... not to mention the prices are ridiculously expensive 50$ for two people I ordered a breakfast burrito and had ham and bacon and just for that it was about 4 or 5 dollars extra I don't understand why it's sooooo expensive read more

Went here and the food was average. Nothing special. But I was really annoyed when the manager or owner (white haired lady with braids) came out and just took our drinks away when we weren't finished without fucking asking and was concerned more about the dishwasher washing them on time. Why can't she fucking say that she needs to take them in 5 minutes because they're closing! Just be honest and don't make a stupid excuse because I respect honesty 100% more. Your job is to provide customer service and you failed in doing that because I was not the only one that noticed! Then don't work here or open a business in customer service at all because you suck! Don't come to this business at all. read more

We love this local breakfast/brunch family owned restaurant! Though take out has let us down, not sure why such a big difference in quality, maybe it's the ride home that sabotages the food, needs to be eaten fresh off the stove? We will definitely return once restaurants reopen. read more

I love squeeze in but today the staff was really off, as if they didn't want to serve us. Took 25 min just to place order food was great when brought to us after getting our order no one came back to check on us. I will still recommend this place. Birthday breakfast for my daughter. read more

Tried the squeeze inn awhile back and it's _never_ been bad. Unfortunately there's not a lot of good breakfast spots in Modesto at all. I'm a bigger guy and have yet to finish the jack johnson pancakes in one sitting. Anyone with the negative comments are just nitpicking. (If you don't like it, go to McDonald's) The owner gave my girlfriend a large mimosa on the house for her birthday! read more

The food quality at this place is very bad. Pancakes tasted like flour and I couldn't even break it using a fork, I ended up not eating it. The whole group didn't enjoy the food, so we won't be back. I think they use cheap products. read more

Love Squeeze In! Such a nice breakfast and lunch joint in Modesto, and has a more homemade feel than any popular breakfast chain. The omelette are so creative; you can get almost anything wrapped in four eggs. Pancakes are delicious as well and serving sizes for everything are massive. Can be busy on weekends but the staff tries as best as they can to make everything an enjoyable experience, and are willing to fix any mistakes with orders. read more

I like to visit a place more than once before I leave a review. Especially post pandemic with all the mandates and staffing shortages etc.. Some days you just might catch a place on a bad day! Well I've been to squeeze In pre pandemic, mid pandemic and post pandemic and damn it, I've never caught them on a bad day! The drinks NEVER disappoint. The food is always plentiful, fresh and delicious! And my #1 concern, CUSTOMER service, is always on point at this place. The wait staff is very attentive and hospitable. If I had to dig super deep and find one flaw it's that I always sit outside and forget to ask them to turn the heaters on!! I'm jus naturally a chilly person and their patio is very well shaded! BUT they have heaters so just ask them to turn one on!! lol (so you see that's actually MY flaw not theirs) I hope squeeze in is around for years to come because we will definitely always come back. P.S. try the Hail Mary (I think that's what it's called) it's a delicious, made-just-right Bloody Mary with a whole freakin meal on top! read more

Okay, so the first couple of times I came here, everything was fine. The servers were so so sweet and the hostess was a little stressed, but not at all rude. The food really isn't that great, nothing to call home about. It's decently priced and you get a lot of it, but it's not something that makes me want to go all the time. The only reason I went a few times was because they have vegetarian and vegan options, which is wonderful. But the last couple times I went, I interacted with the manager, whose name I believe is Kathy. Kathy, when she gets stressed, is probably the worst person that works there. She is so incredibly rude. Like it's actually ridiculous. She is condescending and just insulting. I completely understand that it's stressful to have so many people coming in and I'm sure some people have gotten upset at the very long wait time, but there's absolutely no excuse to take that out on a nice customer who hasn't done anything to you. And there's even less of an excuse to take it out on your staff, which she did very openly in front of a bunch of customers. You could just tell that she was trying to hard to keep her cool, but any time I said anything that at all annoyed her she couldn't hold back from giving me sass and talking down to me. I ordered banana pancakes and she messed up my order, then when I went back she tried to blame ME for it, saying that I shouldn't say "banana pancakes" but should say "Jack Johnson pancakes" next time? What? I've ordered them as banana pancakes before, no reason to put the blame on me if you misheard or put it into the system incorrectly. Then I called her later that day to tell her she was rude and she still had the audacity to say "well, I'm not sure what more you want from me now" and then hung up on me. I don't know if I'll be going back, but I'll probably go when I have all the patience in the world to show the manager some kindness that she definitely needs in her life. And if she sees this review, I really don't want a response from her. I don't need another half-apology. read more

Omg great quick service, the menu had so much to choose from I didn't know what to choose from. I ended up with the double d omelet with biscuits n gravy. Omg it's so much food and filling. I literally couldn't finish it. Im so freaking full read more

Tried this place for the first time a couple days ago...it was okay. My friend and I got the same meal, half and half Benedict's with the spicy chorizo and mushroom bacon, and potatoes. First of all, the eggs were Poached over hard. That's part of what I expect with eggs benedict, the runny yolks, mixing with the Hollandaise sauce. Super disappointing. The Benedict's themselves were okay, nothing amazing. I wish they gave you smaller portions and cheaper prices. For me, there's no way I can eat 3 Benedicts, plus potatoes. The potatoes were good, nice and crunchy! It was nice to finally try this older, but don't think I'll be back. Better cheaper places for brunch in Modesto. If you are spending $15+ a plate for breakfast, might as well go to surlas and get the unlimited champagne for only $10 more. read more

Bomb food great service I just wish they were open longer hours ... I recommend the Bloody Mary or Champaign and juice options
