I attended the R&B Pink Party at Sidelines Whiskey Jack's with a group of girlfriends, and we had such a wonderful time! The food was exceptional! We enjoyed delicious Southern-style cooking, and everything was so good. The music was incredible! The place was packed, and people were singing and dancing along to their favorite R&B songs. The energy was great, and everyone seemed to be having a fantastic time. The venue itself is beautiful, spacious, and has plenty of comfortable seating. The waitstaff was also very friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. We had so much fun! I'm definitely looking forward to coming back, whether it's for dinner, drinks with friends, or another special event. Such a great place to spend an afternoon or evening! read more

Was heading to an event in the area and we wanted to grab a bite to eat that had a bar. I looked up this location and it fit the bill of what we were looking for. We arrived around 4pm on a Friday and a few patrons were inside at the bar. We decided to sit at the bar to get a drink and food. Brandie helped up and she had a very upbeat personality. She was having a chat with a few other customers who seemed to be regulars but was still attentive to us the whole time. She made you feel like a friend! We ordered the steak sandwich and a chicken quesadillas along with our drinks. Both were really good! The steak sandwich was especially good. The place has ample seating inside a lot of parking outside. There are also plenty of TVs to catch any of your favorite sports games. It looks like this place can get busy with sports events and during weekend nights. I recommend their business! read more

We came in on a random day to watch the game have some appetizers and a few beverages. When we first walked in the waitress Brandee seemed so nice gave us our refreshments a beer and sprite to be exact and said they were working on the menu and would get it for us in a few. After almost 20 minutes waiting hearing her talk with a patron at the bar disrespectfully and obnoxiously we asked another waitress for a menu. At that time Brandee said that we asked for BBQ menu which we didn't even know existed and that we had to wait for her to clock out before getting served a menu and another beverage. Excuse me you told us you were going to bring us a menu! Abby was so helpful but to be honest I felt bad she had to deal with us being upset over another waitress prior to her. At this point I'm frustrated and ready to eat. The whole mood changed around the restaurant when Brandee left or so we thought the place lightened up everyone seemed happy and she returned walking around trying to all of a sudden help like no I heard your comments and I'm not thrilled. The actual restaurant had a phenomenal super fan vibe from all different sports teams that was awesome. The potato skin and garlic fries were not all that but the Fried pickles were a 10/10 and the wings were also a good 8/10 tbh the whole experience was ruined some of the food made it up but the reason for 3 stars was the service from Brandee. I would come back any day that she doesn't work. Abby you are a trooper and did an Amazing job! read more

We went there on a Wednesday night to help celebrate a friend's birthday and to sing karaoke. My hubby ordered the fish and chips, but the "tartar sauce " was basically mayonnaise, so no good there. They also gave him a small ramekin of tobasco sauce, I'm not sure why? I feel like malt vinegar would have been better. I ordered the shrimp Alfredo pizza, which was very flavorful-and way too much for one person. I got four meals out of it. Clovis, the kj, was very good at what he does, and seems like a genuinely nice guy. We definitely plan on going back on karaoke nights! read more

Waited 15+ minutes to be acknowledged. Ordered ribs and after another 15 minutes we were told that ribs weren't available on this night. Proceeded to order a Ribeye with a baked potato. Also a cheeseburger but omit the blue cheese that it came with. Burger had blue cheese. After yet another long period of time , we are now told they have no baked potatoes. This is the "Ribeye" that was served. Took another 30+ minutes to get our check after asking for it. Do not recommend this place at all. And we were never offered refills on our drinks. Horrible customer experience. read more

It takes a bit to get your food but definitely worth it. It's not an outrageous wait, the wait staff is very friendly and helpful. Ambiance is confusing because it looks like a bar, but it's a family restaurant. You just go sit on your own upon arrival and eventually get approached. 10/10 recommend read more

Stopped in for a late lunch and ended up having one of those meals that just works. Ordered the Triple Play--and it lives up to the name. Shrimp, chicken, and beef all on one plate, cooked properly, not rushed, not over-sauced. The veggies still had color and bite, the noodles held together, and the heat was balanced enough to keep things interesting without overpowering anything. The bread on the side wasn't an afterthought either--it actually mattered. Come to find out the dish was made by Tony, part owner and the creator of the Triple Play. That explains a lot. This felt like a plate someone designed, not something thrown together. Sat at the bar, had a beer with lunch, and the whole experience was relaxed and welcoming. Shout-out to Sunshine, tending the bar, for the easygoing, attentive service--exactly what you want in the middle of the day. Sidelines isn't just a place to watch a game. It's a spot where the food, the room, and the people all know their role. I'll be back. read more

Seeing so many great reviews, we decided to try this place for ourselves. Walking in, you can tell right away, it has a warm, neighborhood "cheers' vibe. People love it here. The staff is immediately friendly and welcoming. You'll have a tough time deciding on what to order because the menu is extensive! Adrienne, the manager, helped guide us in our order. He was rightfully proud talking about the homemade fried pickles! They were superb! Crispy and crunchy! Just the right amount of batter. I loved seeing a Peanut Butter burger on the menu! We lived in Europe for a long time and they have them on the menu in pubs on occasion there, but I rarely see them here. That peanut butter and Jam, add the perfect tangy, sweetness! Sidelines Whiskeyjacks version also has a kick of sriracha, which added a nice touch. I sort of wanted a little more sweetness of jam, and Adrienne offered to bring me some on the side, but the burger was excellent as is! I opted to forego the fries to save the calories, but my husband had fries with his classic burger and he loved his meal as well. He said the fries were crisp and perfectly seasoned. We had perfectly made gin and tonics to go with dinner and our bill was reasonable priced. We will be back for sure! read more

Struck of luck we found Sidelines. Looking for a place for Mothers Day and they were open. Looked interesting. Staff, ambience and low key music was a nice start. Food was outstanding, special menu for the day. I had shrimp and grits. Never better. The gravy/sauce on the grits was so beautifully seasoned I did not want it to disappear. Their regular menu is extensive. They have a selection of raw oysters which I am going to try. All in all a great place and will be back.? read more

Came in today starving and it was pretty busy. I thought I was gonna have to wait a bit because it was packed and she was running circles but my server Jessica was like Wonder Woman! My drinks were quick, my food came before I expected and I will definitely be back. The blaykenator and garlic fries were AMAZING, fresh and hot when I got it. The cocktails were just as good! As a former service worker I gotta say I was impressed with how well she handled a crowd. Thank you so much! I will definitely be back. read more

I enjoyed this place so much. Came with some friends for brunch on Sunday and had an amazing time. It was sing along R&B and they curated an amazing vibe, they also had different card games you could play( which we took full advantage of). The food was really good as well. It came out hot and flavorful, we got the catfish with Mac n cheese and greens-bomb- star of the show- catfish fried to perfection, greens didn't need any hot sauce(IYKYK), chicken and waffles, chicken nachos and wings. The service was good also, our server was very kind and attentive. Overall, I can't wait to go back! read more

The Sunday Brunch on Mother's day was an unpleasant event due to the service. The food was good but I was told at the front desk that the champagne was free and to hold your glass up for the DJ to come by. But I was charged for two glasses of champagne. I have ordered from restaurants and obtained higher respect than from here. How can a restaurant say to your face oops so sorry that you are in a hotel but we can provide for you some plastic forks, we originally said we did not have and then, so happen to find after looking for 20 minutes to take with you. Really, come on now, whose leftover plastic forks did you try to give to me. Whenever this has taken place in other establishments, they would just give me a set of wrapped silverware. Why? Most have said they lose so many in the trash it really wouldn't make a difference. The place also allowed dogs, which I have an allergy to, again the disrespect. The music was so loud you couldn't hear the person sitting right next to you. No manager was on the premises to voice my concerns. Hopefully I have no issues with the refund issued. SMH SMH!!! Needless to say, I ordered from another restaurant the "Wildfire Public House," where not only was the food delicious, when I arrived, my food was in a bag with plasticware and the server asked if I wanted any extra sauce, napkins or plastic ware. Who knew? What did you really ask me that? read more

Was met by Brandy, very friendly and told us to sit wherever we wanted. Ordered zucchini and calamari strips, both very good! Then on to entree's I had the Phil Niekro aka the old man. It was good. My wife had the rib tacos, very little meat and there was bits of bones in it. Needed BBQ sauce. My sister had the chicken sandwich and said it was good. My brother in law had the steak sandwich and it was very tough piece of meat? All in all we would try it again. Would be a strong 3 1/2 stars! Great menu read more

Ok.. so this is not on the best side of town. However.. they have their own parking lot that is quite large. I felt safe as there were 3 security guards posted at front door. They were very nice I might add :) and it made me feel safe. it's kind of an odd set up inside. but... very clean. Lighting could be lowered in dance area by tables and above. Tables too spread out to feel close to anyone and mingle. Bar area near dance floor needs some shelves and under lighting. maybe artwork from Local Artists on walls.Needs a few IPA handles as well. It needs to be pulled together somehow. Love the outdoor areas. Space heaters and safe fire pit on the little outdoor area would be great. if they manage their crowd and keep "americana bands" playing like: Bangarang, Triple D, Blue Line, Matt Davis, Autumn'sGarden etc..... They could do well. Need to put a stage out on that outside area... a cover for summertime heat... and could pack in a nice crowd!! Main bar had a very nice selection of beer. I think some non skid strips on ramp going down to bar would be beneficial before someone slips and falls. Be ready to go up and down as you navigate yourself through this space. Also, owner needs to utilize FREE social media platforms ( Facebook, instagram, Tik Tok, yelp) to show menu items, beers on tap, speciality drinks, bands playing, DJ 's in the house etc. ... and should respond to customers questions. I had the absolute worst time finding anything out about this place. a guy w/a Latino car on wall is basically who I was told to look up for more info. ridiculous. I am not sure anybody even knows you added whiskey to the name of business. I and many others want you to succeed. it's clear you love this space. It's off the beaten path so we need to be kept informed of what's going on:) pretty please.... read more

Gabby a waitress in the bar area was extremely rude. From the start I said hello and thanked her for coming over to chat with me and asked her about what was going on. She said rnb brunch but not to ask about it because it's sold out. From the start she was rude...I sat at the bar and ordered a drink and she came up and asked me if I wanted to close my tab, I said as confused because I was still ordering another drink with the lady behind the bar, in which the lady behind the bar told gabby "no, she's still ordering another drink with me and wants to keep it open". Gabby looked at me and rolled her eyes and said loudly "whatever I guess" and scoffed. The lady behind the bar apologized for her. I got my drink and left the area. My group ordered 3 family meals and it came out wrong and we politely mentioned to gabby, we'll gabby immediately got defensive and said "so what, what do you want me to do about it". The owner came out and apologized and offered to fix it. Never were we upset or blamed anyone, we just asked for it to be fixed. Overall gabby was so rude and not welcoming. We wont be coming back. read more

My wife & I were in town and looking for a spot to watch MNF + grab some grub/brews. The fried zucchini was freshly made and very well done. Fried food sometimes sours my stomach but theirs didn't at all. The buffalo wings were meaty & good as well. The lone negative here was the quality of their Altamont Maui Waui IPA on draft. Waitress was very friendly but food was horrible. I ordered the Joe Montana burger which consisted of bbq, pattie, cheddar cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato and red onion. I asked for Avocado but they were out. Everything was correct on the burger besides the peanut butter that was added. Yes! Peanut butter spread. Thank goodness I didnt have a peanut allergy. My husband ordered brisket.. yup out of that too. Then he ordered oysters that were to have bits of bacon, onion and spinach (not exactly my choice but hey). Do not let the bits fool you these were whole bite size chunks of onion and bacon as well as very large pieces of spinach. Mexican mule.. ya dont do it either. Incredibly disappointed.
