Always amazing whether it is breakfast or lunch! We no longer have one close to us, so we make a special trip to Modesto just to go.

The food is good and the prices are reasonable. I've been here a couple times. The service is always good. The waiters are nice and welcoming. I've noticed they don't wear gloves when toasting the bread. They use their bare hands to grab the bread and after it comes out the toaster. I thought that was interesting. If your skeptical about your food being touched with no gloves after touching everything else it is not for you. Otherwise give it a go and don't order toast. read more

My family and I went to Squeeze in to have a birthday breakfast for my son and grandma. We couldn't have asked for better service. Laurie was a delight! We have two toddlers 3& 4 and the box of toys and dinosaurs was amazing! They had a great time! Everything came quickly, and almost all of the tables were filled. The food is expensive, but beyond worth it! The portions are huge and the food was delicious! My 11 year old self proclaimed foodie is ready to come back, and " can't wait to leave a 5 star review" Overall it was a great time with great food and exceptional service! I can't wait to come back! read more

Get The Boss Burger for breakfast. It's one of the best burgers ever. Love the people their as well and 80's music is great!

One of the best breakfasts I've ever had. The wait is long if you get there after 10 a.m. but it's worth the wait. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I got the Quintana Foo (French Toast, Eggs, Ham with a side of potatoes). Huge portions and everything tasted phenomenal. I will definitely be back! read more

What a fun place I'm all about the alien theme. Came here on a rainy Saturday afternoon. The place was packed and there was a little but of a wait. We took the time to start looking at the menu, which I'm glad we did because there are so many good things on and it was difficult to decide. I got the chilaquiles which were nice and spicy. The bottomless coffee is quite good. The atmosphere is friendly and cozy. I would definitely go back and try some of the other great sounding dishes, especially the sourdough French toast. read more

My first trip here was good but lacked a great server. I've been back twice more since and each time was a delight. Fluffy omelets, awesome* banana/nut pancake, and good service. read more

Good food, good service and fun but calm atmosphere. Love the banana walnut pancakes.

Great food, great ambience and great customer service! The food portions are huge.... Can't wait to go back. One minor complaint.... The chairs outside are super uncomfortable!!!! read more

This place is really good. I like the unique options on the menu. I got the Jack Johnson Pancakes which I highly recommend. The pancakes are really big so would recommend the two instead of four if you aren't sure. I went with four and only finished half. read more

Lots of food. Looked great but both my husband & I felt the omelet was dried out. Maybe a sauce or cooking the mushrooms would've helped. It was real heavy on eggs but not flavor. We got the signature omelet. Nice to have a choice of fruit or potatoes. Tons of potatoes. Choice of bread too. Service was good. The orange juice pitcher had tons of juice. Waitress was great at keeping coffee filled. Would try again but would stay away from the omelet. I appreciate the owner responding. It really makes a difference to me. read more

Great place. Service is friendly and fast. Servings are huge. Well worth the money and the prices are good. Will definitely come here again.

Eggs Benedict was amazing with chorizo ! service was excellent from the waitress, coffee was refilled in timely manner . Little hole in wall breakfast spot, very cute design inside . Thank You to Kayla she was very customer oriented she's great for this business. I will definitely visit here again in the future read more

Wow wow wow. Sooo amazing! Everything! Worth the wait! Starting with the house mimosa pitcher! It says serves 5, it serves 6.5 margarita glasses! And it truly is a bottle of champagne with a splash of oj, so worth the $26! Bloody Mary sells you with "two servings of vegetables" ! All the food was huge, so much and so good! The menu is hilarious and you can't go wrong with anything The jack johnson pancakes are the best for sure! We all loved them! Totally worth the time and $, plan to spend at least 2 hours to finish all this! read more

Food was delicious! Customer service was awesome. Their menu looks cool as well. So many different choices of food we wanted to try everything. I ordered eggs Benedict and sub the potatoes with garlic fries instead and because I saw the picture of biscuit and gravy looked so good I also ordered that on the side. WOW! Their serving size is huge! Oh, to add to everything, their bacon was cooked perfectly! My wife ordered French toast with bacon and eggs. She said it was good. Definitely come try this place out! read more

Service was OK ,very nice group of people ,food wasn't all that ,SPECIALLY the "chilaquiles " I understand it was "white " style chillaquiles but you can't even call them nachos ,it was so disgusting ,just take em off your menu ,you cannot use salsa chips for chilaquiles ,the chips got soggy by the time they made it to my table ,it was actually gross ... They did try to make things better by bring me the chips, beans, chicken and salsa on the side which it was more like nachos but even that it was not good at all. read more

Our last morning in Modesto California we had to try a great suggestion by our son. This place has a great selection of omelettes, scrambles , salads, burgers and a nice array of adult beverages to start your day. 2 of you? Discounted vodka drinks for 2. Featured on Food Network Throwdown with Bobby Flay. Very good food and great service. Highly recommend this place. Great place for a Squeeze! read more

Love this place come here all the time the Hail Mary is da bomb and the Jack Johnson pancakes are to die for. Cat and Jarrod do A great job.

This place is a hidden gem, but from what I have been told, it has been discovered by many. The service was great. Food was a plenty and the warm little place with many local returnees was fun. We will be back. read more

Went with the family for breakfast this weekend & I was not disappointed. These girls know exactly what good customer service is about. The food was delicious & once again the service was excellent! Definitely will go back soon. read more

Horrible customer service I called to reserve they said we don't make reservations but the waiting time should not be more than 10-15 minutes I live 5 minutes away from the place by the time I arrived they put my name and there was a long list waited for 45 minutes and didn't call me . I went to ask for how long the manger was very rude .. I left after 45 minutes waiting.. never going back again! read more

Happened upon this place. It was in a Throw down with Bobby Flay. Regardless of a win or loss the food and service was amazing!!! Jared took amazing care of us. A young man who cares about customer service! All the staff was great. Looking forward to coming back soon read more

Yoooo this place was bomb! Had the hangover omelet stuffed with all kinds of bacon, sausage, ham and cheese! with the side of country potatoes that i drenched in chedder cheese and sour cream, oh My word it was good! My favorite place for breakfast in Modesto! I have to come back and try the Maggie, it's a French toast stuffed with cream cheese, I think. Covered with fresh strawberries, and bananas! Great quick service, and friendly staff helped with the menu, being that it was my first time! ;) read more

So, I really wanted to love this place. I might give them another shot. The atmosphere is super cute! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food...well, our meals were "blah"...I've had much better. The crab bene was way overpriced for what you got. My brother got one of the more popular omelets. There was absolutely NO FLAVOR in his omelet or potatoes. It was almost uneatable. We also tried one of the banana pancakes...and I will admit it was to "die for"... I might go back and try lunch their to see if they do better than breakfast. I wasn't a fan of breakfast...I'm so sorry... read more

Our first breakfast dining experience here was mediocre, but we decided we would give the place one more chance. But our second experience was actually worse. We were told there would be a 20 minute wait; we waited for 40 minutes (and noticed that two later groups of the same size were seated before us). Customer service was lacking, granted it was busy, but we felt like we were being a burden and eventually just stopped asking for the things we needed (eg. messed up orders, coffee refills, salt/pepper, butter, creamer, napkins). As for the food, other reviewers got it right when they said it was bland. For example, the breakfast spuds (which cost extra for my plate) were merely cut potatoes. Soft, lukewarm, no seasoning. Not the crispy, hot, flavorful potatoes with peppers that you expect from a good breakfast spot. The owner/manager said that they cook them that way purposefully because some people don't like them seasoned and "everything is on the table for you"...? Not sure what that meant, but she did take the spuds off the bill for us which was appreciated. My friends said they were underwhelmed as well and would not be back. read more

Always wanted to try this place so went to brunch with a friend. First off not a very welcoming place at all. Order our food Can't even remember the name of what I ordered but was a breakfast type sandwich. Waitress brings it to the table an right off I notice a nasty smell I thought well maybe it was her. picked up my sandwich to eat IT AN OH MY GOSH THE SMELL WAS HORRIBLE even my friend was like what is that smell the bread smelled like a dirt wet dog. No lies U know it's bad when I smell it when it's brought to ur table so imagine trying to eat that. Heck no So I told waitress and she was like ok so then a guy comes over an I tell him what's on this bread what's the smell he's goes in kitchen area comes back as tells me ohhhh it's just spray with canola oil. ummmm NO because I use canola oil at home every day, and none of my food smells like that He did offer to take my food off bill I mean I couldnt even eat it. The place is charges f extra for everything. U order French toast. Pancakes anything. Bacon or eggs everything's extra. They even charge extra for 1 slice of tomato on my sandwich really !! We left and since I hadn't ate an was hungry we had to go to another place so I could eat. read more

Never disappointed! This place is so authentic and special, I love it!!! All the food is made with fresh ingredients and the service is always very friendly. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but if I had to pick a favorite the Jack Johnson walnut banana butter pancakes are absolutely amazing! Cravable and addicting they are. Out of this world!!! Now I understand their alien theme they have going on. Unbelievable, you have to try this place out! read more

Love going to this place for brunch dates. It is a little pricey but the food and drinks are always on point.

Huuuuuuuge portions! Was so pleasantly surprised by this little diner in a Modesto strip mall. The only mistake I made was ordering the Hail Mary (secret HUGE Bloody Mary that's not on the menu) and a full entree. There's a mini grilled cheese and a bunch of garnish on the Hail Mary. Next time, the perfect order will be: a split entree and a Hail Mary :). My parents split this lobster omelette thing and it was AMAZING. I got some breakfast omelette burrito but I definitely had order envy once I tasted that delicious buttered lobster. They even added an extra pound of lobster! If you do split this meal, ends up being the same as a regular entree. Also, be ready to wait. This place is extremely popular on the weekends. read more

5 stars for the food, it's super good. Staff is really inattentive. My waitress only came 2 times. 1st for drinks and order second leave the check. Waited for a refill for days on the hi mosa (highly recommended) read more

Definitely read the menu prior to coming here or you will spend an hour perusing the HUGE variety of options to choose from. I've had both breakfast and lunch and most everything has been VERY good. I didn't love the country potatoes, a little dry and bland, but there's a cheese sauce as well as good sausage country gravy you can order on the side that makes the potatoes great for dipping. The hash browns are really good and made to order per your liking. I love crab so I've had the crab bennies and the crab sandwich and both were delicious. I don't have much of a sweet tooth and never been a fan of pancakes but their banana walnut pancakes with honey butter syrup made a convert out of me! They are AMAZING. I usually just steal some from my friends plate because the order is huge! If you have someone (or 3 or 4) to share with it makes for even more variety and a better way to taste more of the menu. The Mimosas and Bloody Marie's are picture worthy and the big Mary is a meal in itself. If I could change a couple things one would be to add a reservation system to reduce the long wait to be seated. It's often standing room only for the wait, so be prepared. The other would be to offer smaller plates. Portions of most everything are HUGE and my favorite, the Crab Benedict, comes with 3 bennies and isn't available on the mix and match bennie plate. I can only eat one and about 1/2 of the hash browns and neither of those reheat at home very well. The same is said for a lot of breakfast items like the pancakes, etc. I'd love to see an option added where you could get either smaller portions of the featured items or a variety platter where you could choose single servings of 3 or 4 items. I'd visit much more often if I knew my leftover food wasn't likely to be wasted. Overall it's really good food in Xtra large portions (therefor pricier than most breakfast spots) with a fun and friendly atmosphere. I definitely recommend giving it a try. read more

Always excellent breakfasts! Their chicken fried steak and eggs breakfast is exceptional! (I recommend it with hash browns and eggs over easy). It's not an item I would normally choose but once I was talked into it and I have ordered it every time since! Lots of creative menu items. Great service, very clean. Families with children are welcome and we noticed that everyone seemed to be in a great mood! read more

I had the McCarol Vegan Burrito with Tofu. I started eating and realized the burrito also had bits of bacon in it. Okay---I'm not actually vegan. I'm just trying to eat healthy....but doesn't vegan mean NO animal products? Bacon=pig=animal. Well, I ate it anyway because I'm a carnivore and I do eat meat. I just kept thinking boy oh boy, wait until a real vegan orders this and discovers bacon in their food As for quality, I wouldn't order that dish again. Not because of the bacon thing but the veggies and tofu retained so much water that by the time my burrito came out the tortilla wrap was all wet and saturated. Didn't make for a good burrito. read more

Read all the reviews and heard all the rave about this place so had to try it. Bloody Mary was not impressive to start off and service was slooow. My Gf came for the Banana pancakes which were served soaked in a ridiculous amount of melted butter and syrup how anyone can eat this mush is beyond me . Omelette I had was nothing to brag about .... Overpriced and Not impressed and won't be returning. read more

Great breakfast and brunch choice. The owners mom/son really care about your experience and the place runs like a top. Some people may complain that breakfast here is a little pricey... not compared to most places in CA. You will get a great breakfast or brunch or lunch, they only use great fresh ingredients. Plus you get a head-swimming array of choices. Everything we've had has been excellent, whether straight-ahead or unusual. I really like their signature benedict. Not too many breakfast spots do mimosas in Modesto, so there's another plus for the mimosa enthusiast. You may have to wait a bit, but it's worth it and if the weather's nice you just relax on the patio. Excellent addition to this part of town. read more
