We have now been to My Garden Cafe three times since it changed ownership from the Waffle Shop of before and can report that it's a keeper for us. The food has been well prepared each time, the service as good as we could want (they have always seated us promptly each time, and immediately take our drink order and food order promptly thereafter). We sense that it is locally owned which we always prefer over big chains places. Portions are generous, and all has been tasty (my wife is more picky than I and she has nothing but compliments for the quality of the food. The ambiance is created by both the vibe the staff put out (totally focused on the customer) and the makeover of the place, it appears they have added and/or enlarged the windows, and hung a number of paintings/prints of Highland cattle which my wife loves. We will definitely be back as this seems to have become our new Sunday morning breakfast place.

Delicious food and portion sizes are HUGE!!!!

My Garden Café on Coffee Rd (where the old Waffle Shop used to be) is phenomenal! From the warm, friendly staff to the delicious meals and generous portion sizes --everything was perfect. I've always loved their other locations, but this was my first time visiting this one because of my crazy schedule. I'm so glad I finally made it in... oh my goodness, you've got to come check them out!!!

My friend and I go on morning walks three times a week, and I finally said, "Let's try it and see what they have." As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by two gentlemen who were incredibly kind and welcoming. We headed toward the café area and it smelled amazing. I ordered an almond iced coffee, and my friend got a salted coffee (can't remember the exact name), but we drank them down so fast because they were that good. The balance was perfect--you can actually taste the coffee, not just sugar or milk like at other places I've tried. You can tell they really take pride in their shop and their craft. I'll definitely be coming back. It's been hard to find truly good coffee around here, and I'm happy to say I've finally found my spot

I had a simple custom request and the barista's reaction honestly made me feel uncomfortable for even asking. The facial expressions and attitude felt very dismissive instead of helpful or welcoming. I totally understand not every order is standard, but as a customer you shouldn't feel awkward ordering a drink. What made it stand out even more is that I had gone to Pure Grind Coffee & Juice Bar the day before, and their barista actually asked around and tried to help make my drink the way I wanted it. That kind of effort and kindness goes a long way. I'm big on supporting local businesses, so this review isn't about being dramatic just honest. Good coffee can bring people in once, but good service is what makes people come back. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

The morning I visited had a fun mix of laptop workers and moms with their kiddos -- a lively balance! The fairy lights inside won me over instantly star eyes Even on a busy Wednesday morning, the line moved quickly. The three girls working were a well-oiled machine! You order at the counter, grab a seat, and they call your name when it's ready. They've got pastries and snacks too, and the wifi info is on the corner of the pastry display case (small, but spot-able). Bonus points for the "Drip of the Day" -- though I don't discriminate, I take ALL coffee lol. The menu was a little hard to read (could just be me!), so I'd recommend peeking at it online beforehand. I've been on a banana kick lately, so the Banana Caramel Latte with their house-made caramelized banana syrup was calling my name. Got it iced and large. I usually like my coffee SUPER sweet, and while this leaned less sweet, the flavor-to-coffee balance was honestly lovely. I really liked it! Always love finding new coffee spots in the area -- I'll definitely be back!

While I typically avoid paying premium prices for coffee, I decided to treat myself and finally give this location a try. Upon entering, I was greeted by a pleasant atmosphere and placed an order for three iced coffees, which I stated clearly. When my order was delivered, two of the drinks were iced, while one was served hot. I calmly and politely mentioned that all three were supposed to be iced coffees. At that point, I overheard an employee respond in the background with an attitude, stating that I had ordered the drink hot. I fully understand that mistakes can happen--orders can be entered incorrectly, and errors are part of any service environment. However, my concern lies with the dismissive attitude and the decision to challenge the customer's request in front of them. This interaction left a poor impression, and as a result, I do not plan to return to this establishment. I will instead continue supporting my usual coffee shops.

Looking at the exterior, we could only guess what was coming. Walking in just after opening gave us opportunity to marvel over the beautifully appointed interior without bothering yet to arrive lunch customers. After perusing the menu, which we had somewhat studied pre decision to dine here, our waiter Matteo filled in item by item our understanding of the many menu options. With his help and suggestions we four decided to share two "starters" - the whipped feta - half classic and half smoky. Both were delicious! We chose the 4 piece Bruschetta with a suggested cheese added. It too rang the delicious bell. We picked paninis for our main course: Flank steak, French dip and Prosciutto & Fig Jam. Each would be served with a side salad - either Spinach or Spring. We all chose Spinach. The sandwiches were full of the components as described. My wife's Prosciutto & Fig Jam had prosciutto from end to end countering a review to the contrary I had read. The other paninis were likewise filled. The Spinach side salads were loaded with walnuts and cranberries. The amount of feta was adequate. the total amount of salad was more than I expected. My wife ordered a dessert to go, and just reported to me that was superb. We had to forgo any wine with lunch as we had miles to drive home afterward. But I await the day we can spend the night in town and enjoy some selections of their impressive wine stock and not have to drive home. A Friday evening comes to mind. It must happen so we can try out more items of their well chosen fare. A couple of the pokes look scrumptious and a few more of the paninis await my gastric juices. We were pleasantly surprised by Damon bringing us a complimentary Chocolate Panini served with house made whipped zcream (who even serves that these days?) He said that we HAD to try his #1 selling item from the whole menu before we left. We tasted, and learned why it had reached that status. Good in appearance. Perfect in creation, Superb in taste. Kudos by the bucketful to Damon, Matteo, and the rest of the staff who helped this Birthday Bash be warm & fuzzy and highly enjoyed. If you haven't yet. I suggest you put Camp 4 on your high priority list and enjoy the experience as I'm sure you will. We sure did!
