First time ever ever coming to this restaurant. My boyfriend and I were hungry so we literally chose the first option on yelp. We got here, parked, and wow there was a very long line for a Sunday morning. We decided to just sit on the counter tops since there isn't a wait there. The restaurant is small for how many people are trying to eat here. We ordered two plates/servings of breakfast as well as one coffee. Everything in total cost was $22.00 that's really great priced! My waitress was great as well. She really was patient and answered all my questions. She mentioned that they've only been open for 2 months. I'm so supposed that they're open for such a short time and so much business already! I also asked who bob is and she said she doesn't know Food was delicious. Portions are big. Service was great. Wow! This place is amazing! I ordered the Bone-In Ham breakfast with scrambled eggs and country potatoes. It also came with a biscuit with gravy. The biscuit with gravy had flavor and passed my breakfast test. All the flavors that this Bone-In Ham has are delicious and has a honey-brown sugar flavor to it. The country potatoes were good but had more of a hash brown texture. I almost gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of this. I had black coffee, orange juice and ice water to drink. The service is really good. The portions sizes are more than I could have asked for and they sufficed. read more

I've been going here for at least 10 years and i can count on one hand how many times i was disappointed, & it was never enough to make me not come back. Their food has always been really affordable and yummy! I always get the Denver omelette and it's under $11 with bacon, potatoes, & a pancake! My fiancé (who only doesn't enjoy breakfast food) normally gets their mushroom burger and he enjoys that with some fries every-time. Came to the new location and we won't be back. My chilaquiles came out cold. The eggs and potatoes piping hot. I told the server who grabbed the plate and tossed it in the microwave (which whatever), but then she forgot about it. By the time the food came back out my husband was nearly done with his super small chicken fried steak. The eggs: I've always eaten them over easy. The yolks were broken and running all over before I bit into them and SO WAS THE EGG WHITE. I had to say something. I was told if I didn't want my eggs that way to order them over medium. No reasoning on the chilaquiles covered in unmelted grated cheese and jalapeños (that was all that covered the chips). New location! Brand new building. Very popular. "New location 2908 E. Whitmore" They were VERY busy. 35 mins to get food. The chicken ranchero breakfast was awesome! Very juicy. Their "country potatoes" were just scalloped potatoes with nothing else. French Toast was dry Coffee was great and the hot chocolate was creamy and yummy! It's a hit-and-miss type of restaurant. Huevos rancheros with country potatoes are good, but the cook needs work with the French Toast. Bacon and sausage looked like it was either microwaved or deep-fried, did not taste well at all and the OJ was lukewarm. The waitresses are fairly nice and give decent customer service. read more

So I go to the bobs in hughson and Modesto cafe on Yosemite rd. And I told my mom we need to try this one. So far the service it's ok. I think the place was a little to cold the ac was high I think it should be a set temperature to where it's not too cold or too hot. The ketchup bottles where dirty. Walls were dirty & not to forget the picture frames plus the floor. There were like 3 waitresses and it wasn't super packed they should be cleaning their floors and the restaurant. Update: After we were served my food got cold before I could get to my second plate due to the fact that the ac was full blast. After I had to have my order of pancakes switched for French toast because they were cold already after I ate my omelette the ft was drenched in cinnamon I felt like I did the cinnamon challenge. Needless to say I won't be back. There were clients having to get up to get spoons or whip cream because they weren't being helped. Service is horrible. I walked in at 9:There's no sign at the front area to sit yourself so after five minutes of waiting, someone finally said seat yourself. I waited five minutes for my drink to be ordered but it came quickly. Followed by 15 minutes of waiting to place my order which I had to get their attention to and that took again a few minutes of waiting. I've been coming here for about 5 years now and I love it. The new location was much needed and a great improvement, the spot is clean and updated even though the decorations are pretty tacky. The food is always so yummy and inexpensive. The overall atmosphere here is always busy and they tend to make you feel a little rushed. The first time I ordered a burger and it wasn't bad. It wasn't amazing either. The second time around, I ordered sausage and eggs with a side of french toast. OMG, the food was amazing! The eggs were not dry, the sausage was spicy and tasty and the french toast were soft but had slight crunchy crusts. I was extremely pleased with the choices! The service isn't bad. The place does get jam packed in the morning, so definitely be patient when the tables are all full. Finally the prices are very affordable! Summary: Environment - Clean but not immaculate. I wanted to like this place. A cute local diner with solid Yelp ratings. But I was in search of a simple omelette and this place committed the ultimate sin: the unmistakable flavor of Babybel when I requested swiss cheese in my omelette. BABYBEL IS NOT SWISS. Just tell me you don't have swiss so I can order a real cheese instead, i.e. one that isn't processed semi-foodstuff. Not to mention the omelette ingredients were less than fresh -- the avocado was brown -- and piled on top of the cold lump of eggs and "cheese," rather than mixed in like you would expect in an omelette. Their version of "home fries" was also bizarre, consisting of sliced potatoes like you might find in scalloped potatoes. I peppered the hell out of them and ate them out of desperation after the disappointment of my omelette. A diner that can't do a good omelette is pretty much dead to me, so I won't be returning. I hope this place steps up its game, because we could use a place like this in the neighborhood. read more

For starters it would be nice to call and get someone to answer the phone, I don't understand how it hard it is to simply pick up and say we will be right with you. Server never came to check up on us, My eggs were cold and my biscuits and gravy were so Cold the biscuits were super Hard not good at all! And the restaurant is SUPER DIRTY!!!! I was honestly so grossed out the floor was filthy the table they sat us at was so dirty they only wiped it down and didn't sweep under the table the booth seats had food from the previous customers.
