Came here for brunch on a Monday at 10:30am and there were only one or two other customers inside I got my usual (which is renamed now), The Skinny Brickhouse (or something similar. It is on their healthy menu)l. I got double egg whites, grilled slices of turkey lunch meat and a lightly toasted English Muffin with no butter. The food was delicious and prepared exactly as requested-, without any butter, oil or dairy. The staff was sure to prepare my food without any dairy due to my allergy and you could tell they take food allergies seriously here. Their black coffee is always hot and delicious. My friend got a sandwich and I don't remember what it was but she seemed to like it ok. My only complaint is that I felt like we had to keep flagging the waitress down for refills (they seated us in the far back "forgotten" corner). My food also came out cold. I had to ask them to warm it up. And it is FREEZING cold in there every time I go! I'll bring a blanket next time. I was disappointed to find out that I charged 99 cents for a side of ranch dressing for my fries and $1.49 for sparingly added cream cheese to my veggie sandwich. Note. Jared asked me if I wanted ranch dressing and did specify that it would 99 cents or that the cream cheese would be an additional charge. This requires honesty and integrity vs bait and switch. Very underwhelmed for $20 a plate. Gravy was bland and tasted processed. Eggs were undercooked and not over-medium as ordered. Potatoes were extremely dried out and old tasting. Service was extremely slow and the 2 waitstaff seemed overwhelmed by the 4 tables. Ambiance seemed like it was once cute but hasn't been properly maintained nor cleaned. I've been to Squeeze In 4 times before this review and have always enjoyed my experience, so maybe my visit last Sunday was just an off-day? I ordered the Super Food Scramble because I wanted something healthy and not too heavy. The scramble came with egg whites, spinach, broccoli, red bell peppers, zucchini, and added the turkey sausage for an additional charge. The scramble came with a nice serving of fresh fruit with melons, strawberries, pineapple, and blueberries and an English muffin. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito with turkey sausage and potatoes. Our food took a while to come out, at least 20 minutes. My food looked great, but the scramble was watery and had no flavor. I tried putting Chalula on it, but it didn't make up for the watery texture. The service started off great, but since it was an hour before close, everyone was busy trying to get their sidework done and it was difficult to get refills on iced teas and coffees. We just did without. My husband's burrito and potatoes also had no flavor. A little disappointing in terms of food quality and service. Although the experience could have been better, we'll probably try Squeeze In again sometime in the future. Modesto needs more fun and cool breakfast spots like this one. read more

It's been a month since breakfast, which I keep thinking about, so need to share a little disappointment. For almost $35 with tip, breakfast should be phenomenal. It wasn't. Service was good. Fast & friendly. Racy Tracy omelette was fine. I was offered cheese on top of the spuds. Sounded good and was good for a few bites, but as the cheese cooled it became rock hard and turned the spuds into a hard clump of inedible yuck. Think it was microwaved too long. The coffee wasn't good. Tasted old and burnt, like the bottom of the pot that sat on the warmer for hours. Was told the omelette came with a side sauce, so got cheddar cheese. Looked like cheese whiz, or nacho cheese from a can. Didn't eat it. Turns out the special sauce was $2 extra. Add a few hours of gastrointestinal distress, I'm not excited about the place. Squeeze In is definitely a spot I'd go back to. The food was honestly amazing. There was a bit of a wait when we arrived, but once the food came out, it was clear why the place was so busy. It was absolutely worth it. We kept our order pretty simple, but everything was done so well. I had a pancake with scrambled eggs and sausage, paired with country potatoes and orange juice. The pancake was fluffy and flavorful, not dry at all, and the scrambled eggs were soft and perfectly cooked. The sausage had great seasoning and a nice bite to it, and the country potatoes were crispy on the outside while still tender on the inside, which is exactly how they should be. We also ordered the Hangover Cure, and it definitely lived up to its name. It was hearty, filling, and packed with flavor. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and that care goes into how the dishes are prepared. Nothing felt rushed or thrown together, even with how busy they were. Overall, the food quality really stood out and made the wait feel justified. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, and it felt like a place people genuinely enjoy coming back to. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is the wait time, but the food itself was delicious and satisfying. I've always wanted to check this place out because of the reviews and finally got my chance. First off if you're going on the weekend be prepared to wait. There's usually a line, ok that's a positive sign the place is good. When we were called to a table my excitement was noticeable. My friend snickered I'm sure. Again a funky vibe with bright colors, alien stuff and whatever else. We liked the place a lot and have been back several times. With the cost of the world nowadays we don't go out as much as we used to. Great breakfast at Squeeze In! Last minute our group decided to get breakfast together, 4 adults, 2 toddlers, and an infant. This restaurant is small, but lots of nice seating outside. Unfortunately it was freezing so we had to stay inside, but would love to sit outside when the weather is warmer. We went at a good time and were lucky to be seated right away, with our larger party. The waitresses were so patient with the kids, and even brought them a toy to play with. The food was good. I had French toast, which was not the greatest I've had in my life but still good. My husband had a breakfast burrito though which was delicious and I would 10000% get that when we go back! The vibe of the restaurant is really laid back, and really fun decor. I ordered the racy Tracy sense it said they have the best omelettes and a side biscuits and gravy. Service was quick and the presentation was nice. I didn't care for the mushroom sauce on the side. The omelette was good but not the best. It is a good portion and I had extra left over and potatoes to take home. I left the biscuits and gravy, it was plain and too bready. This place is squeezed In (see what I did there?!) a corner of the Raley's shopping center. It is open for breakfast and lunch but gets really busy during weekend brunch time. There is both inside and patio seating. I love their menu! It's fun to read, and it has pictures for all sorts of items. There are a lot of items to choose from, but that never has diminished the taste or timing of the food. The food is more of comfort style, with some creative ideas in there as well. I believe Bobby Flay featured them on one of his TV shows, which is why several dishes are named after him (maybe not this particular one - they are a small chain but must be franchised?). This one is owned/run by a mother and son, if I remember correctly, and they do a great job! Everyone is super friendly and service is prompt and attentive, with everyone helping each other out, whether it's bringing the food, refilling, water, or coffee, or checking in at the tables. We told them that we were on a lunch break break and they made sure to get us in and out on time, since we came during a break in the crowds. They have different items you can order if you have allergies. This is great since I avoid gluten. In fact, when I was ordering, I asked if they had something on the menu, which they didn't, but they had the ingredients, so they made it for me. Cream cheese scrambled eggs with green onions on top! Yum! Talk about making the customer happy! Most plates seem to run about $15-$20, but the portions are good sized. Most of the time, I have leftovers to take home. We've been coming to Squeeze In for years. This was our first time to their Modesto location last Saturday after my daughters soccer tournament for a late breakfast, lunch. We've been to their Reno locations a few times. They specialize in omelettes, but offer other items as well. They have unique breakfast sandwiches, a few different eggs Benedict's, and some lunch choices too. I always seem to get the Racy Tracy omelette. It's my go to. It comes with bacon, avocado, mushrooms, Monterey Jack cheese, and I add the tomato pesto sauce on top. You get a choice of potatoes or hash browns. Review from May 22, 2022 Happened to stop by here for breakfast on a random Sunday with my husband. We arrived around 11am and the wait time was only around 15min wait. We decide to wait, in the mean time I went down the way to grab a boba before heading in for breakfast. The host was super friendly as she sat us at our table inside, so was the waitress. Love the vibe of this little breakfast spot, not too much seating inside but there was also tables located outside. so depending on your wait time preference and seating prefrence you can for sure grab a table to eat. I personally will always choose to eat inside a restaurant and will wait. Since this was our first time visiting the restaurant it took a minute to look over the menu but they do have a decent size menu. My husband ordered the french toast full order, He also ordered the twice Baked scramble. Not too sure what I ordered but I had eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, toast and pancakes. The Portions that they give here are really good in size. Everything thing came in a super timely manner and all hot and fresh. Our food was good, not really too many complains. I honestly wasn't a fan of the pancakes though, they were a bit too chewy for me which is always a bummer since they are my favorite part of breakfast. Other than that it was a good breakfast. The french toast was tasty the bacon was crispy and the eggs were scrabbled well. Som definitely a must try breakfast spot if you're looking for a place to eat!
