Great Friendly Staff but the food was bland and subpar, not too mention heavily overpriced. Not worth it IMO

I LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!! Great service and fabulous food, always!!! Me and friends go often. (pandemic considered) Definitely a MUST TRY!!

Modesto finally has a great breakfast place that isn't in a bar or brewery! I walk past squeeze inns whenever I'm walking to the grocery store, so I've been waiting for this place to open since the first sign went up. Especially given the dearth of good breakfast places around here (sure commonwealth has a great brunch, but there's something weird about trying to fix your hangover with food from the place that gave you one...) I was excited to give this place a try. Even with all the hype, it lived up to and exceeded all of my expectations. The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is great. I have yet to see it not completely packed on a weekend, but even when it's totally crowded I've been able to get breakfast togo within about twenty minutes. I can't say enough good things about this place. read more

Love this place!!! Staff and food are out of this world!!! Well worth the wait and pet friendly eating outside.

I was surprised at the extensive menu! I had a pastrami & avocado omelet, and it was delicious. The fruit cup actually had fresh fruit! Not the over-ripe melons restaurants usually serve. Coffee was great, as was the service. A little on the pricey side. read more

I come here a couple times a month. This has become one of my favorite breakfast spots. They have a small handful of vegan options too! The food is always fresh and the staff is always wonderful! read more

YAY! So happy this place opened up in my neighborhood, it certainly fills a void. Came here for breakfast this morning, and as of this afternoon I'm STILL full! We both had omelettes, mine with sausage and green onions, my daughter's the Neighbor Jackson. Everything was delicious. Service was great, place is super cute. Looking forward to coming back many times. read more

This is the best breakfast place that I have ever been to! They have so many omelette options that it's hard to choose what to order. The customer service was phenomenal. I will definitely eat coming back!! We left happy and stuffed! read more

For those who complain, nothing will ever make them happy. For those who appreciate great service and outstanding food, Squeeze In is the place to dine! We enjoyed brunch on the patio. The weather was perfect and so was the service! Laurie was polite, friendly and customer service focused. The food was amazing! Portions are big. Something to consider when you order. Yes, it's pricey but worth every penny! read more

OMG there is no way to love this place enough! The food is amazing, and the portions are enough to feed your whole family! The service is second to none. I love the Village One location. I have had breakfast and lunch there. Doesn't matter, consistently amazing. read more

This is a little Jewel that I just needed. Came with my family to check it out. Ordered mimosa pitcher and crab sandwiches OMG just what I needed. Too bad we had to wait because it was so busy. Place is peculiar and a bit small. They have an outdoor patio that is cute. Love the place and food! Differently one of my new hide outs. read more

I absolutely love the ambiance of this place! I love the mix-matched, aliens, and their overall vibe. If you are looking for a place to go and relax with some of your friends for breakfast or brunch this is a place to keep on your mind. Their staff is always smiling and ready to assist whenever you need help, and are there to pour another mimosa when you're ready. Only thing I would suggest to make it better again would be to enlarge the dining area because it can feel cramped unless you are sitting outside, which is not ideal during the summer time. But I love going to this place and it is about time I go back for another mimosa and some pancakes. read more

Excellent service !! Huge portions. We split a delicious omlette (The Lake Tahoe) and they even have deal where we each got our own sides. The hippy decor just speaks to my hippy heart. Highly recommend this place to everyone. read more

Food was amazing. Large portions and some over the top menu items. My pancakes with walnuts and bananas were to die for. Only issue was the pricing is a bit high. Overall a great breakfast destination. read more

Mediocre, waaaay overpriced food. Everything was either bland or bad. We ordered a lot but barely touched anything and felt like we had to explain ourselves to our server who then got the owner? They discounted our food but considering we ate basically none of it, that didn't feel like enough. Yeah no thanks, won't be back. read more

I'm from chicago so my idea of good breakfast food is a little bit more strict than this. Great for omelettes and stuff but the biscuits n gravy has no meat and it was hard for them to get my eggs correctly cooked. read more

i really enjoyed this place. you walk in and the inside just pops with atmosphere. brightly colored walls and a staff happy to see you and ready to serve you. the inside at first seems small, and then you read one of their slogans...you literally have to squeeze in the place. the menus are very engaging and fun to look over and easy to follow. i ordered an omelette and it was simply amazing. huge with tons of meat. the food came out super fast and hot. they also have a nice lunch menu. my wife and i will definantely be going back for both breakfast and lunch read more

For a new adventure we used our two year old gift card to pick up breakfast. So yummy! Why did we wait so long?

I came here to try it out for the first time and it was not bad! It was a bit pricey though. I had the vegan grill which was pretty amazing. The host brought a box of toys for my two kids and nephew to play with when we waited for food. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the young server girl eating and drinking on the floor while waiting for the next order. Being in the customer food service industry myself, I couldn't help but notice that...it is very unsanitary, especially when not using tongs or gloves while handling food (tongs were right there to handle bread, and server girl grabbed two pieces of bread with her hands to the chef). Maybe this is a very laid back restaurant, but that shouldn't stop them from following food handling standard. read more

Looking at these reviews and WTH?! Are only friends of the owners reviewing?! I stopped by out of convenience, after dropping off my dog at the vet. The motif is quirky and cool, but that's it. I had to take a double look at the prices. Are you kidding me?! Do people on that side of town get out of town much? Places in the Bay Area aren't even that expensive. I thought, is the food organic and locally grown? A big nope! So, you're paying premium for what exactly? The food wasn't even any good. I ordered eggs, sausage and potatoes, a conventional meal called the "Redneck." The photo speaks for itself. It wasn't awful, but pretty close to it. You could taste the grease from the pan in the sausage (barf) and the potatoes-- which they say are like "red potatoes,"-- were obviously taken out of a bag and placed under a heat lamp. Seriously gross. At least in Berkeley, you get freshly cooked ingredients and that for around $9. What'd it cost me here? $13! LOL Travel more, people. This place was cute! But the prices for there food was crazy!!!!!! I mean this isn't steak and lobster!! We had 5 plates total, 1 omelet a stack of 4 cakes and 3 breakfast that came with only 3 meat, 2eggs,potatoes,1 piece of toast and half a biscuit and gravy.... 2 coffees and 3 kids drinks! Total 100.17$ I won't be back because for that amount of money I can get steak and lobster ! Service was ok... it was the owners son he was nice but as we order our food because my grandma took a little longer he started to help the table next to us. I thought it was a little rude but... maybe he didn't think so. read more

Service is great. Menu is awesome. Food is blah. Just wish the dishes had more flavor. I had the breakfast burrito and the cheese was still shredded - not melted at all. Also, they forgot the salsa verde. Such a bummer - we're going to try again. Hopefully this was just an off Sunday. read more

This is a fine and tasty establishment headlined by a great staff. Everytime we've came here we've had Jared as our server. He is very prompt and gave us some wonderful suggestions on the menu..we were not disappointed! Tea selection is on point, the coffee nice and hot. We had pitchers of mimosas and I had the best bloody mary ever. Pancakes are out of this world! Everyone's food came out at the same time and we were able to fully enjoy ourselves. We got a chance to meet the owner and is so sweet and nice too, she did a lot of the art work. We've came back now a few times. The decor is warm and inviting and you can even write on their walls. If you haven't been here you should, the best place for breakfast and lunch in Modesto hands down. read more

The omelets are big but they are not even omelettes. They might as well be egg pancakes folded in half filled with your choice of meat and vegetables. All their portions are oversized to make up for their high prices and lack of culinary skills. My wife got a himosa that tasted nothing like orange juice or Cranberry and was basically a watered down cheap champagne. Service staff literally stands 5 feet from your table talking to each other and playing on their phones while you're eating. Two omelettes 1 upgraded with pancakes the other upgraded with biscuits and gravy and one himosa and our total came out to $50. I don't know who this restaurant paid to have such great reviews will not be returning. Would give zero Stars if I could. read more

Excellent breakfast and lots of options. Unique omelets. Large portions and good service, very friendly atmosphere

First time eating here. I just moved in down the street. Very good food. Omelette was not skimpy, everything was prepared very well. Atmosphere was really nice. Great vibes from staff and other patrons. You can tell this is a good spot as it was quite busy. Only reason it's 4 and not 5 stars is it was a bit pricey for the portions. Otherwise great place we will certainly be back read more

Alright this place was a last minute surprise, service was excellent. Food was awesome, it didn't get a perfect score because they're vegan food wasn't as good as they're comfort food. If your vegan, the food will be a hit or miss, if your not than this is the place to be. The Jack Johnson pancakes were amazing!!! read more

My wife and I loved the food, atmosphere and service. You can tell they have a passion for what they're doing and it was a wonderful experience. I had the breakfast burrito (Called the Eric) and It was amazing! I love avocado and this burrito had ample amounts of soft delicious avocado through out! My wife had the twice baked scramble that came with a bowl of fruit. The bowl of fruit had fresh sliced strawberries pineapple and melon plus some very large blue berries! Attention to detail is evident and appreciated! Can't wait to go back and try the biscuits and gravy! Thank you! read more

From the moment we walked in, we knew this place was out of this world! From the groovy 70s inspired decor with rainbow hearts and aliens, to the colorful walls. The staff was absolutely amazing! You know the owners manage the place well when staff is so quick to welcome and treat you as if you were home. Staff cleaned high chair for my baby and had a plate of baby bananas ready for her. Food was warm and served quickly. Our Jack Johnsom pancakes were unbelievably delicious and the Omlette was perfect. We are so happy we made the drive and will return for sure in near future! read more

Eggs Benedict was cooked perfect but only came with 2 when menu claims 3. Which is kinda bummy for the price. Fries were definitely under cooked. Pretty slow on serving but that may be from it being a new place. Also kinda seems a little unorganized as one sever took 3 times before she brought us the food we ordered. Will try in a couple weeks and see if the kinks were worked out. On a good note the staff is very friendly lol read more

I'm coming back here to let you know this place is still nothing less than amazing. I have continued to come here and have brought several friends along the way. Recently took the plunge and ordered the Hail Mary Bloody Mary, as you guessed it didn't disappoint! We got it spicy and it did have a kick. The grilled cheese that came with it was devine. The staff is still as friendly and hard working as day one. Look forward to see you again! Sorry no photos it was just too good! read more

The service was excellent and the food was so delicious. It did not take long for it to come out of the kitchen.

Fun environment! Great food and great service! Awesome bloody Mary's and Mimosas! highly recommend!

worst customer service ever.... i called to place my order of 2 Jack Johnson pancakes , the girl that answered the phone wouldn't even let me speak she kept interrupting me. I was so annoyed because she was so rude she right away wanted my credit card number which I didn't give because i wasn't comfortable i can pay when I get there... hello... i asked for extra syrup since they clearly do not give enough and there was an extra charge of $4 on top of the already expensive pancakes , then I asked for an extra container since I pancake was for me and one was for my husband she said that would be an additional $2, im thinking really? I had To wait 30 mins for my pancakes. She told me to wait outside And she'd call me when ready but dudnt so I had to waltz in finally and see if they were ready. I mean r u kidding me? they have the andacity to ask for a tip. r U for real? She handed me my bag and said nothing no thank u, no nothing.... then we get home neither syrup had bananas in them after I paid extra.... Worst customer service ever! I will not be back! read more

I must say I came into this place with two other fellow travel nurses and really enjoyed my visit. It wasn't because of the food or mimosas (which were great btw) but because of the service provided by our waitress, Laurie. She was amazing. Honestly that's even too small a word. She was a blessing. From food recommendations to just being personal. She made completing a long shift in the Emergency Room disappear. Thank you Laurie read more

My friend ordered a Mimosa, and the waitress responded "orange juice." Friend asked waiter to change it to Sprite, as she thought she'd been misunderstood. Found later that I'd been charged $7.99 for a Sprite, which was called a Mimosa on the ticket. The food was pretty good, but after the bill was paid, we apparently ceased to exist. Had to wrap my leftovers in a soggy napkin, as no alternative was offered. The food was pretty average--not really worth $50 for 2 lunches. read more
