It different from Hawaiian shaved ice as the flavor goes through all the ice and isn't just sitting on top. The worker that helped us was so nice, since it was my first time trying it. She was very helpful in explaining all the options as well as giving recommendations! I got the lime and blue raspberry flavor and with the frozen soft serve in the middle! It was delicious. It's a little stand with street parking and a small back parking area. They have a couple chairs out in front for you to sit and enjoy your cup of dessert! Specializing in New Orleans stlye ice, this little store serves a variety of great flavors! The menu is pretty simple where you choose a size and 2 flavors with a choice of add ons or you could opt for one their house special creations. I got a small tiger blood and cherimoya and the portions was bigger than I expected. The Tiger blood tastes like a tropical fruit punch and the cherimoya tasted like vanilla. We also got the Cream house special and a small with blue cherry and lime flavor. I enjoyed the blue cherry and lime the most. I loved how the flavoring covered up the entire cup of ice unlike typical shaved ice where the flavor isn't evenly spread and sometimes doesn't cover all the ice. We also checked in on Yelp for a free mini vanilla ice cream which we added to our ice, and that was delicious! I came for the shaved ice and beignets but interestingly enough I remember the super friendly service the most lol. It was a bit of a wait for my orders but the staff was so patient and helpful, you could not be grumpy. And you can tell they were working hard. As for the shaved ice, the syrup flavors were a bit too sweet for me but I love the added condensed milk and/or soft serve options. It adds the extra yum. The highlight for me were the beignets. So good. Tried the regular, apple, and chocolate. All were warm and soft and scrumptious. Note that this place is on a very busy corner across from Poly High and has very limited parking. Beignets and snow cones are the best I've had in a while. I would say that the beignets are comparable or even better than the ones served at Disneyland! I got the plain beignets with powdered sugar (not pictured. I ate them as soon as I got the bag) and the Tiger island with ice cream (pictured). The tiger island tasted like ice cream from my childhood. It was enough to share with my boyfriend. The service was quick, the staff was friendly, and the ambience was great. My daughter found this place on Yelp and suggested that we go. I am so glad she did! There is plenty of street parking out front. When you check in you get a mini cone for free. It is basically a sample size. For the snow cones you can get two flavors in the same cup. I'm glad that I chose passion fruit and piña colada. The passion fruit is my new favorite. My daughter had an ice cream cone with sprinkles and loved it. My friend had the grape and loved it. They have outdoor seating. Keep in mind that this place is a walk up location, meaning no indoor seating. This place is pretty close to my house and I will defiantly be coming back. read more

i've been craving shaved ice and was interested in this local shop that popped up! i want to give this a higher rating but my experience was just so not pleasant that i can't see myself giving above a 2-star. the storefront is super cute and i really like that it's outdoors! there's also a speaker playing some vibey music which was nice, though a little loud. street parking was a bit of a struggle but i was able to get a spot--long beach street parking in general is tight so be mindful of that if you decide to visit. it's a pretty small space so there's not much area to sit or stand without blocking the sidewalk. i went when it was very empty though so this wasn't a problem! i ordered a small snoball with the flavors watermelon, pina colada, and coconut. i also got a drizzle of condensed milk on top. in total, it was $6! the staff at the front was very nice and there only seemed to be two of them. since i was pretty much the only customer, i expected for the snoball to come out pretty quickly but it took around 10 minutes. personally i didn't mind at all but i would note that for any busier days. the portion size was big which i appreciated! however i wanted to note that i was not given a lid for the snoball and that's where i felt things went wrong. when i was walking to go sit down in my car and eat it, i noticed that the ice was melting pretty much immediately. i was a little shocked because other shaved ices i've eaten with thinner textures have melted less quickly. the cup isn't very strong so when i squeezed the side by accident, all of the melted syrup spilled over the rim. this did unfortunately cause a mess in my car :( i don't blame this entirely on them btw! i think it's both user error, poor planning, and lack of a cup lid or adequate packaging. when i did actually taste the snoball, i was pretty shocked at how little i enjoyed it. the flavors were all mixed together and did not taste like watermelon, pina colada, or coconut... it tasted like a sugary cardboard? either way, it was weird. maybe i ordered the wrong flavors! also i would like to point out that this is not your traditional snocone with separate flavors, it was all mixed together for me. tldr; if you buy a snoball, be prepared for the mess. i thought the snoballs were their popular item but i would skip on it for something else. if i ever get the chance to visit again, i'll definitely go for the funnel cakes/beignets instead! but when it comes down to it, i think i'll just stick to some bingsu. read more

Delicious! So glad I found this place and now I think I'm addicted. This is a small window located on the corner of Atlantic and Jackrabbit ln right across the street from Long Beach poly. There is only street parking. When I arrived there was only one person in front of me but the service is incredibly fast! I got the powdered sugar corner cake and soft serve waffle cone. I love me some soft serve and this was just sooo satisfying. The corner cake is essentially just a funnel cake but I appreciate them cooking it thoroughly. I live like 5 min walk from here. We had been meaning to try it but hadn't had the chance. Today we finally tried it. I can say the hype was worth it. We had sno balls , beignets, and funnel cake. I saw an add for this Black Owned business on Instagram and decided to give it a try. Right across the street from Long Beach Poly High School. I got a medium strawberry cheesecake/pineapple sno cone with condensed milk added. You know it was delicious and refreshing! They have a variety of flavors, soft serve ice cream and mix- ins for an additional fee. The service was great as well. You have to order at the window and wait. I didn't feel any danger while waiting and there was also an Hispanic family of 4 enjoying their sno cones while standing by their car. The colors of the building were bright and inviting. Where do I begin, this place is amazing the food taste so good I've tried a couple different flavors but I absolutely recommend getting the soft serve in the shaved ice and gettin some milk on top its sooo good and it ads something extra to the whole vibe on shaved ice. The area is so good parking can be a little hard but it's work finding that spot. The service is amazing they're so nice and love to chat. One time I got someone else's order and they gave him a new one(duh) but still gave me mine so I got 2 cones for the price of one. The owner really cares about her community and wants to give back. Leron here was extremely nice! He was really helpful on picking out flavors / suggestions. I ended up getting the pina colada flavor with their ice cream at the bottom and my friend got the root beer flavor with ice cream too.
