The shave ice had perfect amount of flavoring, not too sweet while also drenched in the sauce. -1 star for the lack of dining area. There was only one table but many chairs which I found inconvenient because who likes eating funnel cake the size of a pizza with no table. Cute little corner spot, but typically no parking. The beignets aren't hot when you get them and they didn't really taste like New Orleans beignets to me. I asked if they had root beer float they gave me a root beer snowcone ice cream on the bottom, not liquidy at all it was disgusting. Whatever root beer flavoring they use is disgusting. I didn't even like the ice cream. It seems like no one really liked that flavor ice stuff they put on top because I saw another lady taking it off like I was. Customer service was OK. I ordered three orders of beignets they charged me for one so we had to do it over and pay. Extremely disappointed. This is how we got our things. My grandfather passed away. I treated my uncle and my mom to SnoCorner to cheer them up since it was their dad that had passed away. The most amazing shaved ice I've ever had! The ice itself is so fine and has the softest texture. They saturate the ice with the flavors, but it feels like the syrup isn't sickly sweet (imo). I highly recommend getting it with the vanilla soft serve to make it creamy. I got the watermelon and peach flavors. I couldn't distinguish between the two but it all tasted amazing. The medium was kind of hard to finish but I might be sad with only a small. It's hard to tell from photos, but the cup is layered with ice on the bottom, ice cream in the middle, and more ice on top. I've been seeing Snocorner pop up on my Yelp search for a while and finally got a chance to try it! I ordered a Build-Your-Own Snoball with passion fruit and mango flavors and condensed milk add-in. Overall, it was on the sweeter side and hard for us (my husband and I shared) to finish the whole thing. I was also hoping the passion fruit flavor had a stronger and more true passion fruit flavor. When walking up to the window we were genuinely greeted with a great big smile! Customers service was great. We obviously wanted something sweet and thought to try this place. I chose the coconut & wedding cake which had a creamy almond flavor. My snoball was already melting right when I got it. Not sure if its cause the ice is too smooth and not densely packed so it melted faster than other shaved ices Ive had (American- more gritty & crunchy and Asian shaved ice - dense but smooth n powdery). I like mine plain so this was good but I say skip on the condensed milk because I didn't really taste it on there, instead add the whipped cream. The box it came in was super cute so I attribute the higher price to the aesthetics. Wait time was about 15 minutes for 2 funnel cakes. Stopped by Friday, 4:30pm. One guy was doing most of the work while a girl was either taking your order or adding the flavors to the "snoballs". You could tell by her RBF that she didn't seem too happy to be working. Working in customer service isn't for everyone but having to interact with her would make me want to go somewhere else for my desserts. Seems like everyone gets the snoballs. Across the street from Poly High so strategic location for them. Street neighborhood parking is pretty bad since it's very packed so good luck there. I must have went on trash day because I was dodging multiple trash cans that were placed in the middle of the street and oncoming traffic had to wait for each other to pass. I've had this place book marked for a while now... finally got over there with my daughter and her friend to try it out today. It didn't disappoint! I got a small Colada Berry which is a mix of strawberry and piña colada. My daughter got blue raspberry and green apple with condensed milk and her friend got piña colada. Mine and my daughters were very good. I liked the addition of the condensed milk, it gave it a bit of creaminess. The small was only $5 and PLENTY big for two people to share it. None of us completely finished ours. If you check in on Yelp you get an adorable, tiny vanilla soft serve cone. I wish I had taken a picture it was so cute! They also sell funnel cake which I didn't realize until my daughter pointed it out. This was a cool little shop and the city of Long Beach. It is very small and has limited seating but I believe it is more of a grab and go concept. I went on a Saturday afternoon and I was able to find parking right away. There was a small line, but they move through it quite quickly and if you check in on Yelp, you get a cute little mini ice cream cone. I will say that the service wasn't the greatest and lacked enthusiasm, but it was efficient. Now I have been to quite a few shaved ice or snow cone places and they had some pretty unique options. I went with blue raspberry, strawberry, passion, fruit, shaved ice, over ice cream, and to me. It was OK, but to my friend they really enjoyed it. I felt as if all of the flavor profiles lack and blend it as one or perhaps the ice cream was overtaking all of the flavors that I chose . My friend got chocolate, and other creamy flavors over ice cream and that one taste it like a float! The price was not bad at all. I'm always down to try a place at least twice to see if it was what I got or just that day.
