Good drinks that did not really allow much customization to the drinks. I'm kind of picky with the that. Wanted to use almond milk for my boyfriends coffee milk tea but was not able to do it. Price was on the pricier side. Drinks were not too sweet and we enjoyed sipping it on the patio upstairs where the food court is at. read more

The selection doesn't suit my tastes. Although this is how many boba stores make their fruit tea, the fruit teas at this sharetea have a very prominent taste of fruit syrup. Unlike other shops, the fruit tea here tastes a lot more like flavor and sugar water than actual tea. The mini boba does not taste good, let alone the regular ones, which are hard and get tiring to chew. The classic milk tea is hard to stomach as it tastes watery, bitter, and unpleasant. I find that every time I get sharetea my stomach hurts. Would not recommend, there are many better options. read more

The worst Sharetea location I've ever been to. They made me the most watery fresh milk green tea I've ever had. Tasted like it was sitting out for hours and all the ice had melted into the drink. No tea flavor, lack of sugar, and watery ask drink. Waste of over $5 read more

Quick turnaround in service definitely wins my vote . They got the staffing right. For two drinks, we must have waited no more than 5 minutes. However, the cleanliness of their tables could be improved but I'll be passive since it was minutes before closing. read more

I have tried a lot of different bubble tea spots in the Bay Area and this one is definitely my favorite. For starters, it's directly across the hall from Din Tai Fung, making it a great post dim sum treat. I love how fast my order is made. I also really like that they use tiny tapioca pearls instead of the large balls that most bubble tea shops use. The tapioca pearls are a perfect medium between soft and chewy. read more

Came in and ordered through the kiosk, got a classic milk tea with pearl, it was perfect. Not too sweet, not bitter, and the wait wasn't very long. There was a huge line though, but very fortunate to get my order quickly. Good spot for a quick drink while shopping. read more

It's a relatively modern ShareTea location inside the mall (directly opposite of Din Tai Fung) that serves up the relatively standard ShareTea drinks if you've been to other locations. I have grown away from ShareTea's drinks as I find them quite sweet, even when you reduce sweetness. The line when I came was about 8 deep which is not so bad. Service was fine. Price was high in my opinion, but I guess that's the extra price you pay to get one in the mall. I think there are better Pearl Tea places around, but if you're in the mall and really need your boba fix, I guess you can't go too wrong here. Clearly I doubt anyone would drive to the mall just for one given the parking and walking! read more

Happy to see a ShareTea at Valley Fair! AND right across from DTF? Prime location! They participate in Five Stars rewards, so that's cool - I think it's around 5 pts/drink, and after 30 points, you get a free topping. Eh, it's something! SERVICE: Efficient and not a long line, so we got our drink pretty quickly. We came during lunchtime too, so we were pleasantly surprised! KIWI FRUIT TEA w/AIYU JELLY: A little tangy, more sour than sweet, but it was quite refreshing! Didn't get boba pearls in it, but next time, would probably opt for that, to get the full experience. I'd never tried kiwi before for a boba drink, so this was a nice change. Would order it with boba next time! Though I don't love paying an extra $1-$2 per drink for boba, I suppose that is the price to pay for convenience at the mall! read more

The best boba shop in the bay area. I am a huge boba snob and this is my favorite place to get authentic tapioca drinks. The tea is high quality and fresh. The boba is made just right. This is a tiny "boba tea" shop in the mall. Milk tea, fruit tea, boba tea. This place has it. Minuses: you may experience long lines during rush hour, and service is a bit middle of the road. Plusses: they make the drinks well, and haven't had any real issues with them mixing up orders or anything. Prices are reasonable for a milk tea place. They do have abnormally strong film that seals your cups, so you can't just puncture it with a straw as per the usual strategy. They have separate little disposable plastic knife things that you use to puncture the drink's film first, and then insert the straw. Why? I don't know. Was the previous strength of drink film cover not good enough? Apparently so. I did witness several people try (and fail, hilariously) to puncture the drink the old-fashioned way. And there was a tell-tale smear of drink residue on the floor near the area where the straws are located (apparently many people make this mistake). So... use their little micro-knives. Not much seating inside the shop. Probably will end up taking your drink to go. read more

I've been to ShareTea in San Leandro GreenHouse several times and I've hated my drinks there. THIS location made my drink really GOOD and the boba was made right! Got the reg. black MT with boba and lychee jelly, 30% ice & 80% sugar like usual. The line here is really long so prepare to wait OR like we did, we ordered through Yelp24 pickup and by the time we got the the register (to double check our order went through) our drinks were done moments later! So, that way we didn't have to double wait (in line and for drinks to be made)! Bit more expensive than other locations/boba shops btw. Overall, this location gave me hope that sharetea in general is actually really good! read more

I am used to having terrible experiences at boba stores due to sugar overload, so I have learned to order at a minimum sweetness level. It was my first time at Sharetea, and as always at a boba store that I come to for the first time, I go for safe and order the classic milk tea. Specifically, I ordered the classic green milk tea with pearls at 30% sweetness with less ice. I was curious to see that Sharetea has only one size, whereas most places offer at least two. I was not at all disgruntled by this since the drink is large. Maybe it was because my expectations were low due to the bad reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed my drink. It really did taste 30% sweet, and the boba had the right level of chewiness and sweetness. I loved the size of the drink, large enough to compensate for the expensive price. I did not stay long in the store, so I cannot say anything about the quality of the place but as for the drink, I really liked it and will most likely come back. read more

I've drank classic milk tea from many other places, however, whenever I drink from Sharetea, I always get an upset stomach and spend hours in the bathroom. I am not lactose intolerant and like I've said before, I'm an avid milk tea drinker. There is seriously something wrong with the milk they use here or their ingredients in general. BEWARE of this Sharetea. read more

i've been here twice and both times the drinks we got were not great. my friend got a watered down oolong and i got a ginger milk tea. they messed up my order-and added extra ginger instead of extra sugar which to me wasn't a big deal but oh well. it was watered down too. the second time we came i went for something different, the cocoa lover. it was one of the top sellers apparently and basically tasted like heavily watered down milk with some chocolate powder added to it. it was bad. i didn't even know milk could taste so watery? the customer service was not great either. i get they get busy but good customer service is important to me. bad drink, poor customer service and inconsistency in tea. i don't think i'll continue coming here read more

Quick and delicious, but I'd only come here if there was no line. Sometimes I see it quite long, not a chance. During the daytime, no problem. I like the coffee milk tea, half sweet, half pearls, and it's right on. Then again, it's $6. That seems steep for boba. read more

This ShareTea location has a large selection of milk and fruit teas. The staff is incredibly friendly, efficient, and willing to adjust the sugar and ice level according to your taste preferences. They really pay attention how they craft their drinks which is why the quality is excellent. They value quality over speed. What I like about this location is that it is super clean! Lastly, based on its location of the shop, their prices are reasonable. Totally recommend all boba lovers to check out this location! *Their Classic Green Pearl Milk Tea is my personal favorite because it has the right balance of milk and tea ratio. Plus, the boba complemented the drink because it has the perfect texture and sweetness. Btw, their tea and topping ratio is on point! My second favorite would be their Taro Pearl Milk Tea! read more

Share Tea is an average boba place. The quality of their drinks is so-so. There are a lot of other boba places around that have better quality tea; however, this location is convenient if you are waiting in the queue for Din Tai Fung. The tea doesn't taste freshly brewed like other places, and it can be a little sweet and artificial, or on the other end, I've had drinks that tasted too watered down. Bonus - they take Five Star, and of course, location, location, location! read more

Was at the mall and stopped by to get a boba pick me up. It's located very conveniently across the way from Din Tai Fung so I'm sure they get a lot of business from all the Asians waiting to get their soup dumplings on. I was there on a weekday so no line. I got the mango tea with crema and boba. It's a pricey drink at over six bucks. I like crema but not sure it's worth the price. Every once in a while is ok. Drink was good - you can customize the ice and sweetness. Boba was also cooked well. Standard place for boba. read more

After shopping around, I was thirsty for some boba as always. I could have waited until I got home to get boba but I decided to give sharetea a try since I've only had sharetea maybe twice in my life. Lines were long and the wait even longer! It makes sense since it's in a mall. It probably took around 10-15 to get to order and another half an hour to actually get my drink. I was going to go for a regular boba milk tea but decided to go for the ice blended milk tea with boba. It wasn't blended with that much ice making it melt quite fast. Literally just tasted like boba milk tea with very fine crushed ice. Not really worth it for being $6.50! Sharetea in general is just on the more expensive side to me since most boba places I go to range in the $3-5 where they range in the higher $4-7. I would still say the boba is good but not worth it for me. read more

Sharetea is one of my favorite boba spots! I really appreciate the simplicity of their menu. I typically like to go with a classic Black Milk Tea with small boba. I love this location because its nice to have something sweet to sip on while shopping around in the mall. They even have drink carriers with a handle, which make it super easy to carry around! Tried one of their most favorite items: QQ Family Time Milk Tea $5.25, they only have one size. It has grass jelly, mini pearl boba, and some mung beans inside. Ordered only 30% level of sweetness cos I don't like it too sweet. Love their premium taste of their milk teas. Great location, in front of Din Tai Fung, and don't forget to use their rewards system to get more perks. read more

Writing this review because one of the baristas accused us of stealing their cups. We literally just came down from the food court and we had water cups from Nick the Greek when we got into share tea. When we received our boba the girl shouted as us "they stole our cups" and walked into some back room to tell her coworker that we stole their cups pointing at us when we left. She said to her coworker that we reached over and stole their cups like what. I found it rude how she just accused us of something we literally didn't do and made us look stupid LOL it just made me annoyed so i'm writing this review. so unnecessary she could have like asked us first if we did take cups or something instead of making a big deal read more

I love the moon. I finally got to try MoonTea when I was out in the 'vale this past weekend. My lady and I walked in and checked out the menu. This was the first time I saw a milk tea menu that listed the tea strengths for each drink, that's really cool. After studying the menu for a bit, one of the guys at the counter asked me if we needed any help. Nice of him. We were wondering about the stinky tofu, since some stinky tofus are weak sauce. He said it was average. I also asked what was their most roasty tea, he wasn't sure, but he and his colleagues suggested the da hong pao. The da hong pao is one that is listed as having a strong tea flavor, which I love, so many places barely have tea flavor! So I took his suggestion, and ordered it at their recommended sweetness and ice, non-dairy. While we waited I enjoyed and grooved too the music they played. As I drove home, I tasted the tea, and it's definitely the best milk tea I have had in a while! For the price it was great value and I was amazed it lasted so long; even after the ice melted it was still delicious. This was worth the wait. Also the stinky tofu was tasty, I would get it again.

It's a bit of a mixed bag depending on what you get. The lychee milk tea with 50% sugar and less ice was a 6.5 because you can barely taste the lychee, it was very faint and just tasted like a regular milk tea. The da hong pao milk tea with 25% sugar and less ice was also a 6.5 since it had a really strong herbal taste that I wasn't a huge fan of. The best one was definitely the ceylon cheese milk tea at 25% sugar. It was way more creamy and rich than the others so I'd give that a 6.9.
