Super long line everytime I pass by. But I finally got to try it. I ordered the banana matcha and it is a great combo. The banana cream was creamy and the crumb on top is the perfect topping for this drink. I'd definitely have it again but not worth standing in line for.

    We love matcha!!!

We are a matcha heaven whenever I visit Matcha Maiko. This was one of the first places I tried that served authentic matcha soft serve and lattes. I love their rotating flavors and get stoked to try them. So far, I'm a big fan of the Hojicha, Earl Grey, Ube, and Thai Tea. I do wish they had a system where you order ahead of time because the line can get long and it is an inconvenience. What I love is how their matcha is strong and can tell they use high-quality matcha powder. I love the grassy, earthy aftertaste and their smooth and creamy texture. This alone suits my palate perfectly. Otherwise, cute little kiosk if you are craving matcha because I love this spot so matcha!

I ordered the banana matcha latte and I'd say it was decent. Definitely on the sweeter side with a milder and less earthy matcha flavor relative to other iterations of this drink I've had elsewhere. The banana cream tasted fresh and the cookie crumbles on top were a nice touch. Overall, I think I was a bit underwhelmed with the lattes that were nothing to particularly write home about, but I would love to try their desserts! The line can get pretty long and there is no order ahead online option, but they churn out the orders pretty quickly.

Black sesame latte was really good. As expected, it's rich with a bold flavor but not too sweet. Wife is reporting the matcha tea to be a bit too sweet though. Staff is friendly, order was quick.

So glad I came for their banana matcha! It was delicious. I liked the crumble and fresh banana touch on top. They don't ask for alternative milk preferences so I'd say make sure to speak up if that's needed! The matcha has a great flavor which is hard to come by sometime so I'd come back. It's located in the mall so many people pick up and go (service is quick) and there are a few small tables and chairs you can sit down if you want to take your time and enjoy

I stopped by on a weekday afternoon. I tried there 2 top favorites Boba sundae with matcha ice cream and Azuki sundae with black sesame. Both were really good. May be I liked black sesame ice cream slightly more than the matcha ice cream. Azuki sunda was a surprisingly good one.

This stand inside Valleyfair mall always has a long line, but this time the line wasn't too bad and I decided to try some drinks. The line also surprisingly moved pretty fast. I started by the back near the signage and got to order within 10 minutes. There's a bright menu to view right next to the cashier with popular items marked. That was helpful because it was overwhelming with the number of choices. I ended up ordering the popular Black Sesame Latte and both Banana Lattes to try. The drinks came out within a few minutes. Not too long of a wait. The drinks were standard flavors but good. I don't think it's worth standing in the usual long lines, but still good.

Matcha cafe Maiko is an absolute must visit. This little gem inside the mall elevates what could have been just another dessert kiosk into a destination for matcha lovers and dessert aficionados alike. Ordered ube and matcha soft serve. The serve stood out for its rich, creamy, and balanced with signature subtle bitterness you want in matcha treat. Matcha when paired with vanilla was a brilliant gateway flavor if you are new to authentic matcha

I came to the mall on Black Friday and the line for matcha maiko was very long. But, I love black sesame and saw they had the flavor available that day. The overall atmosphere at the mall was very chaotic and crowded as one could imagine. I ordered the adzuki sundae with black sesame ice cream. The black sesame was lighter in flavor than I was expecting, but it tasted great with the red bean. Overall, I had a positive experience and will be back for more black sesame!

It was hella good. Amazing! The matcha flavor was so strong. I bet they used the good quality matcha powder. $7 for one, and it was absolutely worthy. Just one minus, the house made waffle cone had a slightly egg smell for me. Anyways, highly recommended;)

I'm rating this for my friend, because she always stops here every time we go. The lines get long, but the service and the speed is hella fast. They are hella efficient and actually keep the quality up. It's near the popmart store so it's kinda rough, but overall hella good.

    Strawberry sundae

Came here to try out their parfait since we have been looking for ones similar to ones we had in Kyoto and hadn't had much luck in finding good ones. This one is definitely a journey since it's in the mall and the parking here is such a cluster having to navigate into the mall parking itself and then fighting people for parking spots. Once you get here, it took us some time to find it since it was showing as being on the first floor but it's located on the second floor near Nordstroms. It's a stand so no real seating around, which also makes it a challenge. They have a rope up to guide people where to stand and it went relatively quick, about 10 min wait for 8 people ahead of us and then another 5-10 mins for the food to come out. Ordered the strawberry sundae and the Maiko special parfait. The sundae was alright, a bit sweet for our tastes but fits more the American pallet well. It sorta reminds me of the McD sundaes. For the Maiko parfait, you get a choice of Vanilla, Matcha, Vanilla/Matcha swirl, black sesame, (forgot the name but it's a rice flavored ice cream), and then a mix of the two. It was too bad that you couldn't mix black sesame with matcha or some other combination but I get that is just how the machines are setup. The parfait has a lot of ingredients and gives some nice textures and while it was pretty good, it still doesn't live up to what we had in Japan but I guess it will have to do until we can make it back!

    Matcha Vanilla Soft Serve

I tried the Vanilla Matcha Soft Serve at the Westfield Mall, and it was actually really good! It wasn't busy when I went which is probably because it was almost closing time, regardless the soft serve still tasted good! The matcha flavor was strong in a good way, and the ice cream was rich and creamy. They even added matcha powder on top, which was a nice touch. Overall, really solid ice cream for a soft serve!

Do you guys currently serve the mango sticky rice soft serve?

Hi! So sorry, but we are not serving the mango sticky rice soft serve.

Can I bring my own container rather than using what's provided and used it for the ice cream?

    No.

Do u have DoorDash or Uber?

Hi Evelyn Unfortunately we do not have delivery at the moment. Please check back at a later date as we do plan on signing up with Doordash soon. Thank you!

We got the red bean and the strawberry flavors - the portions were very large for a bay-area reasonable price of less than $15 item. It was my first visit and honestly, I was a bit disappointed; while there were lots of fresh fruits, I found the flavor bland and not sweet enough - which may be someone's jam? I wished it had more condensed milk to give it a more creamy flavor. The shaved ice was beautiful and fluffy - i'd say this is the main draw that may bring me back to try new flavors. It was basically their falooda ice cream with some kulfi pieces mixed with some milk (not sure if it's regular milk vs evaporated milk). As the falooda ice cream mixed with the milk and kulfi pieces, it satisfied my falooda craving. The falooda ice cream had basil seeds and thin noodles mixed in a rose ice cream base. I only found the dessert to be a bit on the sweeter side, maybe because of the kulfi. The store had no other customers when we were there. The cashier let us take our time to decide what we wanted. Some staff were busy loading cups and other utensils (probably some new orders that came in). They have mostly indoor seating with two tables outside. The tables had a lot of clean napkins here and there. The seats look like they could use a wash due to stains. When we threw away our ice cream cups, the trash can was super sticky. Parking is in a shared lot with other stores and wasn't difficult for us. There were definitely cars coming and going. The ice cream shop is towards one corner of the strip mall.

I think we went on a day where they might've been short a few people, but we did wait over an hour for our order. From my observations there is a process for the tacos.
