It's great to have a Marawu Seicha location close to home versus having to go to Palo Alto or other areas. It's a nice, new looking store, decorated really nicely. Everything looked clean and well taken care of. We've been to other locations and they're usually quite busy, but this was more "peaceful" and we could order without feeling rushed or exhausted from the process, and got our desserts/drinks quickly. My wife and I shared a parfait that was specially priced: Soy Milk Pudding Matcha Parfait. I liked that it had multiple ingredients (pudding, mochi, red bean, gelato), so it was a pleasant mixture of texture and tastes. The portion was a bit on the small side, but it was nicely done and wasn't too sweet. I'd order this again and I could finish it by myself instead of sharing! Our daughter had the Shizuoka Peach Matcha Latte, which she loved. I didn't get to taste that one, but it looked really good with a pink bottom. It's pretty expensive, but the food quality is good. It's probably 4.5 stars for me, but I'd like to go back and try a couple of other things before declaring giving it the highest marks. But definitely no complaints and we'll look forward to coming back again.
So good!! I got the Matcha Latte with Matcha Soft Serve and oh. My god. This was hands down one of my favorite drinks I've had recently. Super cold and refreshing, perfect for hot day. Plus, the matcha is strong and it's not overly sweet. This drinks checks all my boxes lol. No notes. Will be back to explore more of the menu options.
Came by for match soft serve the other day and it was a decent experience. Maruwu Seicha is an additional location for a Japanese-owned matcha shop, expanding from downtown Palo Alto. Parking is available on nearby surface streets. Some staff wore a disposable glove. I did see staff sneezing towards the floor without changing their glove though... Ordering done with the staff. Turns out there is also a self-serve tablet before the cashier for ordering too... There were plenty of tables inside the cafe for hanging out or working. Some of the patrons were rather noisy and using outdoor voices unfortunately... The matcha soft serve was decent, pretty smooth and a generous portion, including the waffle cone.
Saw this new location while strolling through downtown Campbell after lunch on Saturday, and had to go in to check it out. It's the best location we had been so far. It's nice and cool inside with plenty of seatings, and there're no lines! Decor was modern and simple. Restrooms were clean and they even had a sink outside the restrooms where you could wash your hands. My husband and I shared a Soy Milk Pudding Matcha Parfait. It was beautiful, delicious, and not too sweet. I loved the various textures from the soy milk gelato, matcha kinako warabi mochi, red bean ball, matcha gelato, and soy milk tofu pudding. All the ingredients worked really well together, and they're all the things I enjoyed. Our daughter had the Shizuoka Peach Matcha Latte (with almond milk), which was a limited time offering for the summer. She must have liked it a lot as she finished it faster than any matcha drink she had ordered before. This would be my preferred Maruwu Seicha location from now on. I just wished they're not so expensive.
I love a good umami cuppa iced matcha, especially when made right - hits the right spots in summer. Unfortunately this wasn't it for me. I have a strong preference for 0% sweetness cus I am able to appreciate the matcha better when sugar isn't in the equation. The Hokkaido milk has sugar by default. I picked 0% sweet but it was still too much for me. They claim it's a small amount, but when I want 0%, I expect 0%. There was no indication of this in the menu nor reviews so I thought to write one. Staff was kind enough to make it again for me with soy milk this time, it was better but not what I was hoping for - soy milk dilutes matcha taste for me. Sigh. I'm picky. Beautiful ambiance & aesthetics.
Absolutely amazing strawberry matcha! Very high quality matcha and customizable to your liking. I got it unsweetened. The strawberry puree was so fresh. This is an expensive drink but well worth it for the ingredients.
Stopped in for a strawberry matcha latte and it was so good. I got less sweet and it was perfect. Love the fresh strawberry puree. They also have egg tarts, which seemed popular. Oh and soft serve. Service was fast and friendly. Love the vibes inside with the warm woods and bonsai trees.
Another Maruwu in the Bay Area, this time in Campbell. Haven't tried the others around here, but this one tastes as close as you can get to the Honolulu location. Ample seating with a clean and modern interior. Despite the long line, the drinks came out fast. Strawberry matcha was solid with a healthy balance If you need a place to hang or study, add this to the list!
Popped on to look around after lunch without intending to get anything, but one look at the soft serve and we had a to grab a cone. * Interior is impeccably clean & beautifully decorated, plenty of indoor seating * Menu has a mix of beverages, soft serve, & baked treats - all at relatively reasonable price points * Staff was friendly & moved through orders quickly * Food & Drink: We tried the matcha soft serve - great deep matcha flavor, creamy, right hint of sweetness. Also grabbed a matcha cheese tart - strong matcha flavor balanced by the creamy filling. Thumbs way up & happily recommend. We'll definitely be back to try to more of the menu!
This place was such a convenient and good place to study. There were plenty of outlets and seating. The only thing that was bad was that the bathroom was out of service, but the matcha latte made up for it. The matcha was strong and slightly sweet. It wasn't too grassy and they had a good ratio of matcha to milk.
First time trying this matcha spot and I loved every bit! The matcha wasn't bitter but still earthy and I loved the peach chunks that came with it. The service was fast and we were greeted as soon as we walked in. The inside is so nice I love the painted walls and feel this place gives. Really nice would come again.
Ordered Matcha Latte limited edition with white peach. we loved it! Also ordered a matcha tart also tasted good. We will want to come back to surf the whole menu. A little line but did not wait long. Once you ordered the service is pretty quick. The vibe is supposed to be quiet but maybe it's a place where people want to stay longer for chatting and working, if you want to sit down, make sure you have your company take seats first. Searching for seats with charging outlets is a little challenging.

Walked here on a Sunday at around 8:30 when they were almost closing. I got the matcha gelato which is my favorite and the matcha and hokkaido swirl in a cone. Both very tasty- I like the gelato consistency and strength of the matcha a lot. This location has a really nice interior that definitely is ideal for studying or catching up with friends. The workers there are also very friendly. Overall good vibes and glad a matcha spot is nearby!

I wasn't sure what to order, but the girl Isa who was working she recommended me some good drinks to try and was so nice and patient with me when I was trying to order. Her recommendations were spot on too, the drinks were made so well and so was the service. Despite there were only 2 workers they worked super fast and provided such good service unlike other stores!! read more
Tried out the matcha parfait with my husband, daughter and parents. Yum! Really enjoyed all the different components - the strong matcha gelato, soy pudding, soy milk gelato, warabi mochi. If I had to gripe- the red bean was a little bit too sweet and the serving cup is smaller than the picture. Service was good and pretty quick. Very nice ambiance. My mom is already telling me she wants to go back. read more
Super spacious inside and friendly staff. Lots of seating and parking is easy enough in downtown Campbell even during a weekend/farmers market Sunday. Our drinks came out super quickly- got the matcha with oat milk ($1 extra for alt milk which is a tad steep in my opinion!), and a hojicha with regular hokkaido whole milk. The hojicha was much better than the matcha (which was good but not great). Would come back for a lightly sweetened iced hojicha. read more

Stopped by this new South Bay location after a visit to T&T. The setup felt a bit chaotic -- the cashier was handling everything while the other staff focused on cleaning, even with a line forming. I waited about five minutes to order a drink, only to be told they stop selling beverages 30 minutes before closing. Ended up getting soft serve and tarts to go instead. They definitely close earlier than the Palo Alto location, and the ambiance here feels more run‑down in comparison. One of the best new matcha chains in the bay area. I got a Strawberry Matcha Latte. The matcha is strong and still shines despite the strawberry puree, and the puree tastes fresh. Whatever whole milk they use doesn't irritate my stomach either so that's a plus. (I'm lactose intolerant ) Love how spacious this Maruwu Seicha is. Compared to the other locations, this one is huge and is amazingly ventilated. Every time I come there is a consistent breeze. The Palo Alto and DTSJ locations feel incredibly cramped. The workers are nice and efficient. Campbell isn't exactly known for their matcha or asian food scene so there a lot of people trying this place for the first time. It looks like the workers are nice enough to explain their menu to everyone. Obviously I will return. read more

Best edition ever in Campbell ! I had a hard time to choose matcha soft serve or gelato matcha #3. Everything is so yummy, smooth, creamy. Matcha gelato $7.40 is more concentration 11.5%. Soft served matcha in the cup is $6.50. The bitterness and sweetness of gelato matcha i really enjoy and devoured finish 6 cups in one position. The young lady work there asked me " Again ? Do you know you eating alot of sweet ice-cream? No shame i answered her the matcha soft serve and gelato from Maruwu is the best I have ever try beside Somisomi. The ambiance was clean, modern, cute, cozy. The customer service was quick, efficient welcoming, cheerful vibes. Happy new month and happy new matcha trendy soft served and gelato. But I prefer matcha soft serve less sweet than gelato. I don't really look into the drinks but hand downs my favorite spot for matcha. Its worth money $40.80 for my fix and need more exercises. I love Maruwu. I think their matcha is better than other matcha places. When they opened other locations they were always crazy busy and lines and lines of people but not this place. This is not a hype place anymore?! I'm not sure but its kind of nice get great matcha drinks in few minutes for me. Might not be too great for the business?! Idk. Location is great and free public parking everywhere so I feel like they should have a little more people... hopefully soon. Maybe a lot of people still don't they are here. If you don't like matcha, try Hokkaido ice cream. It's really different, tastes exactly like Japanese Hokkaido milk. read more

Brand new to downtown Campbell is the Maruwu Seicha. The place is new and clean and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The gelato is amazing. We got the gelato cup with matcha level 3 and soy (kinako). Both flavors were fantastic. The matcha was really rich without being sour. Soy was a bit sweet but had a great flavor profile. I'll definitely go back soon. read more
Glad this place has opened!! We were there while visiting the Annual Campbell Car show and was surprised to see that there wasn't a line. I got the Hawaii Ube Matcha Latte and it was good! Thicker than what I was expected but not bad. I would love to come here and work but I do not think they have WiFi available to the public. Vibes are so cute on the inside There's a lot of seating available on the inside and one unisex restroom available in the back. I'll have to come back to get their gelato another day! read more

"You wanna grab matcha?" WHY OF COURSE I DO! Nestled in the heart of downtown Campbell is Maruwu Seicha. Beautifully decorated with dragons on the wall and greenery, it gives a very aesthetically pleasing appeal to the eye. There is a wall for of lots of merchandise that you can bring home if you are obsessed with their matcha. I ordered a matcha latte with snow top which is basically the sweet cheese. Delightfully mixed and carefully curated this potion refreshed me on my day going about my errands. I also tried the Hokkaido cream tart and it was absolutely delightful. Service was friendly and fantastic I asked for recommendations and she told me that these two were pretty popular so I went with the classics. read more

Stopped by for a sweet treat after dinner. Had their regular matcha ice cream as well as their pistachio matcha ice cream. Was a huge fan of the pistachio flavor! Definitely recommend this place for a good dessert after a meal in the downtown Campbell area. I will have to visit again to try out their matcha drinks! read more
