I visited the Palo Alto and San Pedro Square location before and enjoyed the matcha gelato a lot. I was happy to see that they opened one up near me! Walked here on a Sunday at around 8:30 when they were almost closing. I got the matcha gelato which is my favorite and the matcha and hokkaido swirl in a cone. Both very tasty- I like the gelato consistency and strength of the matcha a lot. This location has a really nice interior that definitely is ideal for studying or catching up with friends. Stopped by this new South Bay location after a visit to T&T. The setup felt a bit chaotic -- the cashier was handling everything while the other staff focused on cleaning, even with a line forming. One of the best new matcha chains in the bay area. I got a Strawberry Matcha Latte. The matcha is strong and still shines despite the strawberry puree, and the puree tastes fresh. Whatever whole milk they use doesn't irritate my stomach either so that's a plus. (I'm lactose intolerant ) Love how spacious this Maruwu Seicha is. Compared to the other locations, this one is huge and is amazingly ventilated. Every time I come there is a consistent breeze. The Palo Alto and DTSJ locations feel incredibly cramped. The workers are nice and efficient. Campbell isn't exactly known for their matcha or asian food scene so there a lot of people trying this place for the first time. I love Maruwu. I think their matcha is better than other matcha places. When they opened other locations they were always crazy busy and lines and lines of people but not this place. This is not a hype place anymore?! I'm not sure but its kind of nice get great matcha drinks in few minutes for me. Might not be too great for the business?! Idk. Location is great and free public parking everywhere so I feel like they should have a little more people... hopefully soon. Maybe a lot of people still don't they are here. I've visited this location three times and the staff is friendly each time. I tried the matcha gelato which was very smooth but not my cup of tea. I also tried the ube matcha latte twice and like ti due to the unique combo. I prefer half sugar because it's on the sweet side but after less sugar, it's easier to drink and taste the ube and matcha. read more

Glad this place has opened!! We were there while visiting the Annual Campbell Car show and was surprised to see that there wasn't a line. I got the Hawaii Ube Matcha Latte and it was good! Thicker than what I was expected but not bad. I would love to come here and work but I do not think they have WiFi available to the public. Love Maruwu seicha, definitely one of the higher quality matchas/hojichas in the bay. Excited to see a location pop up closer to home in downtown Campbell. Easy to find parking nearby, and the store itself is spacious with a lot of seating compared to other Maruwu locations. The bathroom also is fancy and clean, with some sinks accessible outside of the bathroom to clean hands at. The workers were very nice, with the cashier even offering a free taste of the Hokkaido milk gelato to our kiddos even without us asking, and drinks came out quick and yummy as usual. Only issue I experienced was one of the long benches inside that we sat on kept going up and down like a seesaw whenever the person sitting next to us got up or down. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. After ordering, I realized they don't appear to whisk the matcha fresh to order. Instead, the matcha seems to be pre-made in batches, which was a letdown for someone who appreciates the preparation process and flavor of freshly whisked matcha. I ordered the Soy Velvet Matcha, and the employee who took my order seemed unfamiliar with how the drink was supposed to be made. She initially handed me a cup of plain soy milk with no visible matcha at all. Only after a male employee pointed it out did she add some iced green tea to the drink. The whole interaction left me with little confidence in the staff's training and product knowledge. If you're simply curious about matcha and want to try something trendy, this place may still be worth a visit. We took our baby to this brand new spot in downtown Campbell and had a really pleasant experience. The place is clean and nice, and the staff was warm and welcoming. We ordered the matcha and Hokkaido milk swirl soft serve, and since we didn't want the baby to have any caffeine, we asked if they could give us just a tiny bit of the Hokkaido milk separately.
