Real nice place with a comfortable ambience. Crazy crowded with the WFH crowd. Originally, I got the milk iced coffee. It was way too strong even decaf. The worker was very kind and we made me a coconut blended drink, which was delicious. My daughters love the mango matcha. They charge $.50 versus a dollar for alternative milk, which was a nice touch.
Phin Cafe is a solid cafe for meeting up with friends over yummy drinks. I've tried both their matcha and coffee, and I would say I prefer the matcha over the coffee in terms of taste. Their drinks are on the thicker side. The ambiance of the cafe is great. At 10am on a Saturday, there were still enough seats to sit with a friend or get some work done on a computer. I recommend the banana matcha. I also recommend full sweetness. Since they specialize in Vietnamese coffee/style of drinks, full sweetness will give you the best flavor. I tried less sweet on the egg cream coffee, and without sweetness, the egg cream lacked flavor. In terms of drinks, I wouldn't say they have the best Vietnamese coffee/matcha in the area, but they're pretty solid. Overall, this cafe was nice to experience! Parking can be a little bit tricky on weekends, but there's street parking right outside of the parking complex if needed. It's also located near the Pruneyard, which is lovely if you're looking to grab lunch of go shopping afterwards.
First time to visit this coffee shop. Decoration is nice and they mainly sell Vietnam style coffee. Ordered Pandan coffee and Honey Lavender coffee, ask for less sweet for both. But the honey one is still too sweet, unless you love very sweet drink. The pandan one is good. Have good environment, but I think I would like typical Vietnam style coffee more. Just average for me.

I could only drink half at a time or else I'm going into convulsions. The inside is a vibe. My go to is the salted matcha and egg coffee.
Phin Cafe was a fun experience. It's a popular Vietnamese cafe with a comfortable seating area. Fashionable patrons coming in and out, good people watching. I tried the salted matcha, less sweet. It had great matcha flavor. The salt added a nice mineral element to the grassiness of the matcha. The sweetness was perfect -- just enough to be palatable and enjoyable, but not too much. I accompanied it with a spinach pate chaud, a little pastry round, served hot, with great crunch, and yummy spinach Brie cheese filling. Also tried the cold egg coffee, which was Vietnamese coffee topped with egg custard. It tasted like a liquid egg tart, with satisfying coffee flavor. After sitting in the cafe for awhile, I got hit with that Southeast Asia feeling, that I experienced in Singapore. Sunny and refreshing. You know it's good when you feel the vibe!
If you go with 2-4 people, I recommend trying one of their three flights. This time we tried the tea flight and enjoyed them all! The flight also comes with a small sweet treat. We also tried the bahn mi as well as chicken and mushroom pate chaud. They were all fresh and tasty. Easy parking and nice atmosphere makes this a place worth checking out.
It feels like the matcha hype in Campbell isn't slowing down anytime soon with the addition of Phin Cafe. I enjoyed my matcha latte, it wasn't overly sweetened and you could really taste the matcha. I'm sensitive to caffeine so this was strong enough to keep me up (which I wanted). I also enjoy their Pate Chaud though I find it quite overpriced. Love swinging by this place for a pick me up when I'm running errands. Drinks come out quickly and didn't seem like the matcha was pre whisked. The vibes of this place is nice, and had a great atmosphere for working, plus there are plenty of outlets and relaxing music. You almost feel a little awkward for talking since so many people are working away on their laptops.
The salted matcha latte is the main reason I keep coming back here. It's so good and I've never had anything like it. The double matcha is also good and the banana matcha is decent. It has pieces of banana in it if that's your thing rather than a banana pudding matcha. It's a nice place with lots of tables to get your work done or just hang out. I will say it takes awhile for them to make the drinks so don't expect to pop in real quick to grab a drink. I did try ordering for pickup through DoorDash once and my drink was more liquid than a blended consistency. It can be difficult to get a workers attention because they can get busy. They have a pretty decent size parking lot and I've never had trouble finding parking.
What can I say? This place has completely exceeded my expectations of a Vietnamese coffee place. I love the clean, airy, modern, Asian inspired ambiance, the delicious coffees and snacks, and the welcoming, attentive service. I was so hooked after my first visit that I ended up coming back three times in a row! They have a great variety of drinks on the menu, and many of them feel like little works of art. On their menu, I've tried the Milk Iced Coffee, Coconut Coffee, Phin Experience, Rosie Dream Tea, and Peachy Orange. Their coffee is bold, rich, and pretty flavorful. I ordered everything light sweet, and it was the perfect balance. It all had just enough sweetness while still letting the depth of the coffee beans shine through. The teas were just as enjoyable. Both the Rosie Dream and Peachy Orange had bright, refreshing fruit flavors, but the Peachy Orange was definitely my favorite! I loved the taste of the peach and orange together. As for the food, the Grilled Pork Bánh Mì was delicious. The bread had the perfect crisp, the pork was savory and flavorful, and everything came together really well. Overall, this has quickly become one of my favorite places. I can definitely see myself becoming a regular. If you're in the area, this place is worth stopping by for some good, bold coffee!
Phin Cafe has a massive variety of coffee options, and they absolutely did not disappoint. Plus, there's actually sufficient parking outside, which is always a major win. The service is incredibly quick, the vibe is super work-friendly, and they even have a fully functioning, in-house coffee roaster right on display. I ended up trying two different things. First was the Ube Latte. The ube flavor was incredibly forward and robust, practically overpowering the coffee itself, which I actually didn't mind. The absolute standout of the whole experience, though, was the coffee flight. The flight consisted of Milk Iced Coffee, which was incredibly strong, bold, and absolutely delicious; Crema Black Coffee, where the espresso was topped with a thick cheese cream layer. That was actually my least favorite of the group, but it was still good. The foam was a little salty, and the underlying espresso was incredibly strong and nice. The others were just so spectacular that they outshone it. The egg Coffee was incredibly custardy, rich, and creamy. It felt like drinking a delicious cold brew with a decadent, velvety custard foam. The durian Coffee absolutely blew my mind. The durian usually gets a bad reputation, so I was a little nervous to try it, but it was amazing. The durian cream paired perfectly with the coffee and didn't overpower the espresso flavor at all. Next time, I'd probably skip the standalone Ube Latte and just dive straight into the flight experience. Highly recommend checking this spot out if you want high-quality, flavorful specialty coffee.
Truly one of my new favorite coffee shops in Campbell. I was on the hunt for something a little different for coffee and found Phin online. When I walked in, I was shocked to see how big the space was! So many places to sit! I've now gone on a weekend and weekday. Depending on the weekday, it may be totally full of people working. If you'd like to work (some seats have outlets), I'd just recommend trying to go early to get a seat. But whether you're enjoying your drink at the cafe or to-go, the drinks have been amazing! I love the ease of ordering and with all of the foam top options, your coffee can really taste different each time. I've had the ube, pandan, and salted coffees so far. All amazing! The staff is always friendly and I look forward to continuing to make my way through the menu.
I am so happy there is a new Phin location, one that is closer to me! They have multiple tables for working and studying, along with outlets nearby which are important. Their coffee is strong and consistent, my favorite being the salted coffee. I recently tried their banana matcha and I was hesitant as they are mainly a coffee shop, but let me say it was one of favorite banana matcha's! Service is quick and always consistent, with nice workers. Big interior space that gets busy on the weekends but usually there is an open speak. Parking is easy and no need to worry. I have definitely been back and will continue to come back!
Since I'm a huge fan of the Cupertino location, I naturally had to check out this new Campbell spot, and it did not disappoint! The interior is absolutely stunning, with plenty of tables that make it a perfect environment for both getting work done or just chatting with friends. I got the egg matcha with less sugar and it tastes balanced; you can really taste the quality of the matcha and the richness of the egg cream. However, my only gripe is that half the drink is ice, which felt a bit excessive. It's a solid four-star experience, and I'll definitely be back, though I'll be asking for light ice next time!

Wow I really enjoyed my coffee here! The service was super nice and they were really helpful. I actually came on Monday and it was really nice coming that day it wasn't too busy, but it definitely started getting busier around 11am. It's a great place to come do some homework or get some work done. I came in to plan my week and wow the coffee was amazing! This is definitely a new go-to for me. I also love that it's so close to where I live. I'll definitely be coming back more often, especially on weekends when I need a nice spot to relax or be productive. read more
I wanted another place that offered matcha and stumbled upon this place while searching around. I went in right around when it open Saturday morning. There was only one person running everything which I felt bad and thankfully everyone was willing to wait and was patient. They offered a variety of different matcha, coffee, and snacks. They do offer flights to taste some of their drinks at the cafe. I just ordered a matcha sugarcane drink to go. Definitely need to stir or else it would be too bitter in the first few sips. The sugar cane juice gave it the little bit of sweetness it needed. read more
The cafe and space has such a beautiful layout and is a great place to do work/study. I ordered the salted coffee with less sweet, which was a little bit too thick/creamy for my taste but I still enjoyed it! I also ordered the Croffle with pandan and thought it was yummy! I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor profile of Phin's egg coffee. The coffee is strong (as you'd expect from Vietnamese coffee), and the creamy egg topping blends beautifully with it. The café itself is super cozy--I stopped by around midday on a Thursday, and it was packed! Service was a bit slow, but honestly, it wasn't a big deal. If you're in a rush and need a quick caffeine fix, this might not be the best spot. I had a great ube iced coffee and phin croffle! The coffee was great - perfect ube flavor, very creamy, nice sweetness. You can get it more or less sweet, but I did the normal sweetness and it was perfect. My friend got an egg cream latte with less sweetness and she wished she got normal sweetness. The phin croffle was nice and crispy, and you can choose a cream to go with it. I got the salted cream and it was the perfect choice. I went on a Saturday morning and there were many people chatting and/or working on their laptops. I think it could be a good place to get some work done when it's not too busy. There are a decent amount of chairs and tables. I was able to find a spot to sit and chat with my friend. Overall, I would definitely go again for a coffee and to work or hang out. read more
I've been here several times and enjoyed their drinks. This time I ordered their grilled chicken banh mi. It was surprisingly good. The bread was soft and crunchy and meat portions were decent. I would have liked to add more vegetables but overall not bad. Their mango matcha is very refreshing. read more
Great place to work out of or have meetings--lots of people camped out on laptops. A bit pricey for what you get. Banana matcha was fine. Both flavors were subtle and subdued, I expected a bit more oomph. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. Service was okay, not very friendly. read more

I have been to other Phin Cafes but not this location yet. Interior is very aesthetic of brown earthy accents. It is very spacious and big, plenty indoor seating, perfect for studying/working/group hangouts. I usually only try their Viet coffees since it's what they specialize best in. I was recently recommended to try their matchas from another friend who said they got better, so I got curious and decided to try them out. Overall, their matchas are on the sweet side but subtle. It could be stronger. Drinks: - Matcha Egg Cream: wish the cream was thicker and sweeter - Banana Matcha: actually pretty good, unexpectedly. Banana tastes pretty good and real. I was confused at first because I didn't know the banana would be mixed in already instead of on top. - Jasmine Milk Tea: don't recommend it. Thin tea style (using less milk/creamer), the flower is definitely floral and fragrant but it's too much to the point where it's like perfume. Has the oversteeped lingering aftertaste and borderline watered down. I couldn't enjoy it or finish it. read more

I was really excited to try Phin Cafe! The flight is a good concept and also really aesthetic! I tried the Classic Flight, but none of the flavors really wowed me. It was cute that the flight came with a tiny banh pia! That was yummy. My boyfriend liked the salted coffee. We also got a large egg coffee, which was yummy. I was intrigued by the chorizo and taro pate chaud, so I had to try those! I was worried that the chorizo was going to make the pate chaud super oily, but the puff pastry they use isn't super oily so it balanced the chorizo very well. Unfortunately, because the puff pastry is dry and taro is a dry filling, the taro pate chaud was very dry. I used the matcha and pandan cream in my flight to make the taro pate chaud less dry, and that was good. Service was a bit slow, but it was kind of busy when we came! Everyone was nice and willing to help. read more

I've made a few visits here and I've enjoyed each time! The staff is extremely kind and helpful. The place is super clean every time we drop by and the quality they serve is always on point. My bf gets the Pandan Matcha and I love their Matcha Lemonade. Their Pandan Waffle is also such a lovely treat to get, highly recommend!!! read more

I would not recommend this place. I ordered my drinks with no ice, and they came only about halfway full. On top of that, they were barely cold. If you're ordering iced drinks like an ube coffee, Nutella coffee, or matcha, they should still be served cold even without ice. Most cafes use cold brew coffee and refrigerated milk, so the drink stays cold while still filling the cup. That is standard practice at many coffee shops. The strawberry matcha was also very disappointing. There was only an extremely thin layer of strawberry at the bottom of the cup. Other cafes usually add a generous amount of strawberry, so you can actually taste it throughout the drink. Overall, this felt like poor value for the price. Half filled, warm drinks and barely any strawberry is not what I expected. I won't be coming back, and I would recommend others spend their money elsewhere. read more
Stopped in at 4 pm because I've been dying to try the banana matcha latte. I try to avoid caffeine because of the effects it has on me, but I needed this matcha. It was so worth it. Ordering was quick and easy. They really take their time crafting their drinks. The banana matcha latte was the best one I've had so far and I've had about 10. I especially loved the fresh banana chunks paired with the earthy matcha and creamy oat milk. My friend ordered a decaf egg cream coffee and it was presented nicely. There is plenty of seating inside the spacious cafe, but no pet friendly patio! read more

The pandan coffe is so yummy here (I recommend getting it half sweet). As for the shop itself the inside is clean and cozy with plenty of space for people to chat or work on something. I did try the pate chaud a different time and I probably wouldn't recommend. It was definitely tasty but they were pretty small and the pastry wasn't very flaky, in fact it was sort of smushed. Service here is nothing worth noting it's very much getting people in and out with littler to no conversation at all. read more

The vibes of the place are soo nice to chill and get work done ! it was pretty packed when i arrived at around 2pm. the girls in the front were very nice and fast ! There's lots of outlets but when it's busy, be sure to have ur devices fully charged ! I got the coconut matcha (regular sweet) and it was SOOOO yummy !! the matcha is absolutely fantastic and smooth, not bitter, and the blended iced coconut is perfect for a sunny day !! 10,000/10 !! i tried their pate chaud (chorizo and pork) but they also offer sweet flavors as well ! they were steaming hot and nicely seasoned ! 10/10 ! they're small but SUPER filling. i wish they had an image of their bahn mi since it does sound good but $8.5 is an interesting choice ... maybe next time i come ill get it, because i will most definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others !! read more
Such a cute and modern cafe with plenty of work space. They roast their own beans so that added a pleasant coffee smell while I was there! They have a wide range of coffee to chose from. I decided to be adventurous and got their durian coffee! The creme on top was sweet and has a nice pleasant durian aroma. The coffee itself stays true to it's roots, strong and sweet. I got default sweetness and it was pretty sweet for my liking. I would definitely recommend 50% sweet if you decide to try their coffee. Overall, a solid spot and friendly staffs. Pretty solid spot if you're in the mood for coffee or snacks. The space is huge too and nicely decorated with padded seats throughout. I usually stop by and grab an egg coffee, banh mi which is decent, or waffle for my kids. This location serves a flight that needs to be enjoyed here, which I'd love to try one day when I'm not on the go. Music isn't super loud so I could definitely see myself stopping in and getting some work done here. Wall chargers, if you can get a seat by the wall are available. read more

It was a bright and sunny Thursday morning. My partner and I were headed down to Santa Cruz and decided to stop by Phin Cafe in Campbell on the way there. Excitedly, we entered and ordered some drinks. We got Flight 2 - The Classics, as well as a lemon cream matcha. First off, the flight was fantastic. It was a bright and sunny Thursday morning. My partner and I were headed down to Santa Cruz and decided to stop by Phin Cafe in Campbell on the way there. Excitedly, we entered and ordered some drinks. We got Flight 2 - The Classics, as well as a lemon cream matcha. First off, the flight was fantastic. I'm a big fan of Phin Coffee. I frequent the Fremont location often. So, when they opened the Campbell location and I heard that this is where they roast and sell their beans AND new coffee concoctions are dreamt up, I had to go. First, this location is aesthetic af. Next level cool and cozy. Lots of windows, plenty of seating, beautiful and eclectic furniture, and a huge serving counter. We tried so many drinks: Mulberry salted lemon coffee: somehow this concoction works. Doesn't sound like it would but the sweetness of the mulberry syrup balances the salted lemon and the coffee gives it depth. A well rounded drink that I could easily see as a dessert cocktail (BYO alcohol). Flight #2: samples of their iced coffee, salted coffee, matcha cloud, pandan coffee. Variations of the staple coffees they offer and a great way for coffee enthusiasts to try a few. Our fave was the matcha cloud. So smooth. It also came with a pastry, I think it was mung bean. Nice and fresh. Phin tea: a tisane of loose leaf jasmine tea, jujube, and goji berries. A light and fragrant tea to warm you up while reading a book. We also got a croffle with fruit and choco drizzle. Delicious! As always, service was impeccable. The seating is plentiful. I could easily spend a few hours here working or reading a book as the ambiance is perfect for either. The windows really allow the light to shine through the whole space. read more
Amazing cafe. Ambiance is on point for those who want to bring their laptop and do some studying/work. Their presentation of Vietnamese drip coffee is worth it for the price. Looking forward to try their specialty drinks like coffee margarita and pho coffee when I want to treat myself. Tried both the pho Vietnamese coffee and the pandan coffee. I genuinely felt bad not giving this place 5 stars because everything else was great. The star deduction is only for the pho coffee flavor. To be fair, the worker did give me a heads-up that it's a 50/50 item, but I wanted to try it because it sounded fun and unique. Unfortunately, I wasn't a huge fan. It tasted a bit sour at first, and toward the end had a strange aftertaste. Not many times have I disliked a coffee, especially a Vietnamese coffee, so this one just wasn't for me. However, love the creativity! That said, the pandan coffee was excellent. My mom ordered it and we both really enjoyed it...smooth, flavorful, and easy to drink. I would 100% return to try their other flavors, especially their tasters, because I can already tell they'd be amazing. Service was outstanding and the ambiance inside was great. Overall, I still really loved the experience and would highly recommend this spot to others! I'd maybe just say skip the pho coffee unless you're feeling adventurous! read more
Came here on a fairly busy Sunday at 12pm. Modern, clean ambiance with lots of seating. Fast and exceptional service from staff and the owner, Jason Nguyen. I got the peach orange with less sweet, which was the perfect sweetness in my opinion. More orange than peach flavor and u can definitely taste the floral tea undertones. My friends got the egg coffee and matchas and absolutely enjoyed it as well. Jason is very generous and offers to remake drinks to ensure his customers are satisfied! We shared some of the pork/chicken patê chaud: very crispy exterior, and great ratio of meat to flaky biscuit. Overall, a great study/meeting spot with quality handcrafted drinks. Lots of commotion, but not too busy or hectic. I will come back for sure :) read more
Great addition coffee shop in Campbell. They are not only the coffee shop but also the roastery. Amazing space for studying and working, this place serves unique Vietnamese coffee. If want the adventure, go with their Phin flight Mulberry salted lemon coffee us definitely my favorite and the Pho coffee is the must try Service was fast and friendly, will be my favorite spot in Campbell read more
