    Hojicha Latte
    Robert V.

Parking on the weekend isn't impossible, but it's definitely packed full of residents. Honestly, Costco parking might be the move and just walk across the street to get to the place. Not going to lie the interior reminds me of an Apple store and I'm here for it, very warm lighting, minimal design, huge space and tables that are shared. Along with single seating against the wall. The ordering kiosk is right next to the door and their menu is actually straight forward so it moves pretty fast. We got our drinks pretty fast, but when it's busy their food quere goes up so it took us around 15~20 minutes to get an avocado toast and egg drop sandwich. The Hojicha Latte was peak, it was very creamy and I got it regular sweetness and it was balanced very well. The Avocado toast comes with a poached egg on top and not sure how I felt about it, but I ate it in bite since I didn't want the yolk to burst all over the avocado. I did appreciate the amount of pepper that was on it and the amount of avocado's used. If anything the star of the food items was the Egg Sandwich. We got the cheese and bacon one and they had wood smoked bacon and for some reason it just hit really good. Bread and eggs were really fluffy. Not too much cheese which is perfect and the Bacon really stands out. They do have Wi-Fi and outdoor seating too so you can choose your preference.

Sunday morning caffeine pick me up for our errand day ! We got the Bergamot Teafee, Hojicha Latte, & Egg drop sandwich. Well balanced coffee & hojicha - the sweetness complements the caffeine and flavors. Like how their standard is "less sweet." Wish the caffeine was a touch bit stronger. The first time I had an earl grey espresso was from a friend who made them at home. This was somewhat similar but less strong in the flavors. Think of the drink like an iced latte with a hint of early grey flavor at the end. It works well to bring out the floral flavors. It tastes like a milk tea. Sando was delicious and perfect to share. Bread was very fluffy. Nice modern, simplistic space to work, chat, or hang. Prices are on the steeper side - going here would be more of a treat than being a regular. Quick service, ample of seating. Community parking, but I can see it getting full and more difficult to find. Or park across the street at Costco (if you find parking there too haha)

The drinks are ok and a bit overpriced imo (had an ok $8.50 matcha) but was pleasantly surprised by the food. The egg drop sandwich had such amazing flavors and textures - the egg was incredibly soft and fluffy and the bread was toasted perfectly. Bacon was also incredibly flavorful without being overcooked. The salmon ochazuke was also very satisfying. I was fully expecting to be underwhelmed at this price point but ended up feeling like it was 100% worth it. There was a huge salmon filet (amazingly crispy skin but tender meat) plus more crumbled pieces throughout. The onsen egg was cooked perfectly and the broth was great. Overall, I'm amazed that they are able to execute the food so well in a coffee shop setting and am looking forward to coming back often. The ambience and decor is nice but can get crowded on weekends.

Experience (3/5 stars): *Drink: bergamot teafee tasted like a milk tea, sweet and refreshing. it was good but a lil expensive though *Price: $9.50 Overall, it's a maybe for me!

The interior of this coffee shop is very aesthetic, super relaxing. This is an ideal coffee shop to work if you live nearby! Parking is 2 hours only for many areas so be careful! The service was great. The person who helped us was very knowledgeable of the products and I really appreciated their recommendations. I tried their dark roast, which was hearty and rich with fruity undertones. A beautiful, classic dark coffee. FYI -- no artificial sweeteners here as they want you to experience their flavors!

VØID is such a cute new cafe with a clean, minimal atmosphere. The long communal tables make it a great place to catch up with friends or settle in and get some work done. My friend and I both ordered the bergamot teafee and salmon ochazuke. The bergamot teafee was a 10/10 for me. It was creamy like milk tea, with the perfect amount of sweetness for an afternoon pick-me-up. I would definitely order it again, although it might be a little sweet for me first thing in the morning. The salmon ochazuke was also delicious. The salmon had a slightly crispy exterior, and the dish came with crispy rice, bonito flakes, and seaweed to mix in. I loved the different flavors and textures.

Second time at Void and it's so trendy chic in here. Very minimalist with wooden accents and mirrors on easels seem to be in style. I'm not a coffee drinker and I'm happy they have options! *Oolong Tea Latte iced only *Hojicha Tea Latte iced only Choose whole milk or oat milk. I got the oolong twice, less sweet. They put a decent amount of ice. Hojicha was pretty good too. Perfect pick me up before/after getting gas from Costco right across. It's like a whole other world in this apartment complex. Nice to take a short walk. They also have avocado and salmon toasts, egg drop sandwiches, along with ochazuke Japanese style rice bowls meant to have warm dashi broth poured over. I found out it's like a rice based snack, not a full protein meal. Plenty of seating inside and outside with a restroom available. Place your order at the kiosk or with a cashier. The worker I interacted with was friendly. Drinks came out quickly.

TIME: came here around 10 am on a monday, wasn't too packed mostly just people coming for drinks and going, and people just doing work on their laptops. INTERIOR: place is super minimalistic and reminds me of a few places in tokyo that i went for cafes. pretty spacious, has bathrooms, and plenty of tables and chairs to sit at. EXTERIOR: is around office and apartment buildings, parking is kind of hard to get especially around this area, it's always taken up. SERVICE: you can get your order taken by the cashier, not sure if they offer online ordering now but it was only strictly through the cashier, and you had to scan a QR code to look at the menu and tell them, there was no actual menu sited anywhere besides online. FOOD & DRINK: EGG DROP SANDWICH - i chose the bacon option, but there are other options to choose from, big egg, very fluffy and surprisingly a big sandwich that is filling. Bergamot Teafee - the earl grey mixed w the coffee was such a good blend of flavors together i highly recommend! OVERALL: super chill vibe, good food, and drinks! recommend if you want to bring a date or just chill and study

Yeah nah I went a couple more times, this place is really overhyped. After having tried at least 3 different drinks from here, I can safely assure you they all massively fell very short. Definitely not worth +$9.50, neither. I don't know what social media(s) it exactly popped off on, but it's not worth it. The drinks don't really differentiate themselves from any other chique coffee shop. We are blessed in the Bay Area to have so many nice coffee shops, if you named the top three in your area, chances are those 3 are MUCH better. A very nice minimalistic interior can only do so much for your coffee shop. Line takes forever to order quite simply the most basic drinks. Pourovers are close to $10. At least one of the baristas helping you with your order will tell you their Bergamot Teafee comes "less sweet" normally, and that it's sweet enough. He'll say "I have a sweet tooth and less sweet is sweet enough for me". Well, I don't know if bro still lost his tastebuds from possibly contracting COVID-19 at the height of the pandemic, but it really isn't. If you really had a sweet tooth, you wouldn't say less sweet is sweet enough. Go with regular sweet. There's never any available seating, everyone wants to do work out of here but you know they're just sitting there taking space people watching. I saw some dude sit there with his laptop just rearranging his Spotify playlist for over half an hour. I mean that's your prerogative but ain't no way you're telling me you're gonna be able to focus here lol

I like the minimalism infrastructure here, there's a lot of space to do work and enjoy a drink. The a/c is amazing and a great place to study. The drinks are pricey, but you're paying for location and quality. I saw there was an option to pay cash and which was surprising, not many shops like this even accept cash. I got the Bergamot Teafee which is one of the best tasting earl grey I've had in a while. I got regular sweetness because I'm a slow drinker and my drink usually waters down by the time I finish. If you're a fast drinker, I suggest light sweetness. I had no trouble finding parking at 1:00pm. I'm curious to try their food, but it's $14-$18 range for toast. I'd definitely come back, but seating isn't the most comfortable here. Outdoor seating is also available!

New coffee shop unlocked! The only thing that stuck with me is that the prices are hefty: $18 for two signature drinks. No adjustments were made. The menu is on their website or posted in front when you order. The interior is really nice, great for working or studying once the lines slowly die down. What we tried: - Bergamot Teafee ($9.50): The base is Earl Grey tea with whole milk. The cashier strongly recommended keeping it with whole milk. I tried changing it, but they said it tastes weird with oat milk. The taste was unique, fruity, and floral. - Yuzu Noir ($8.50): VERY strong on the first sip. I recommend mixing the drink or letting it water down a bit. At first, it tasted like just espresso, but after a while you can taste the yuzu extract. It's crisp and refreshing. This cafe would be perfect if they opened earlier since a lot of people could grab coffee and Costco gas before work.

Checked out this cafe and it was packed during a Saturday afternoon. It's a little weird because it's a mix of spacious and crowded at the same time. Got the recommended bergamot teafee and it was pretty enjoyable all despite the price tag (drink was almost $10), but I guess in the bay area you gotta pay bay area prices :/ There are some mixed reviews about the wifi, so I used a hotspot while working here. Pretty nice cafe but I might wait until the hype dies down abit before returning.

I went here on a Wednesday afternoon. It was quite crowded with a ton of people on their laptops. They have some laptops and free wi-fi that you have to sign into every hour. As the photos and videos show, it has a nice minimalist aesthetic inside. I got the Bergamot Teafee ($9.50). It was pretty good, I recommend Less or No Sweetness though. The baristas were nice, but one guy smelled like he had not showered in a while.

Mentaiko Egg sandwich - they charge an extra $5 for a drizzle of mentaiko if you don't get ham or bacon. Ridiculous.

It was very quiet during my visit, and conversations were kept to a minimum, which made it easy to concentrate. Even though it's located right across from a Caltrain station, I couldn't hear the trains at all. Parking & Accessibility: Parking was a breeze for me. I parked in the garage in one of the guest-reserved spots, and there's also street parking available. Since it's directly across from a Caltrain station, it's also easily accessible by public transportation. Seating: The café is connected to a leasing office, so be mindful of where you sit. The leasing agents do monitor the area and make sure café customers stay within the designated Coffeebar seating area. Drinks & Service: I ordered a loose-leaf tea and asked for it iced. The staff was warm and friendly, and as they handed me my drink, they said, "I hope you enjoy the tea." I really appreciate little details like that--it made the service feel more thoughtful and welcoming. Overall, I would definitely come back, especially when I need a quiet space to focus and get some deep work done.
