The store is reasonably big and has plenty of seats to chill and enjoy milk tea. It does get super busy, so it's better to order ahead of time and come for pickup. The parking lot is kinda small and fills up very quickly.
After I told a hg that I really enjoy floral tea, she highly recommended Molly Tea! --- D R I N K S --- My favorite combo is the White Champaca Milk tea with a Jasmine Whipped Cream With Pecan top and sago! It sounds like a lot, but it actually works really well together. The White Champaca tea is on the mellow side, the Jasmine whipped cream adds additional floral aroma and extra creaminess, the sago gives texture without overpowering the drink, and the little bits of pecan add a nice surprise crunch. My husband's favorite is the Peach Oolong. I've had my fair share of peach milk teas over the years where they can be too sweet and the peach flavor tastes straight up like chemicals, but this has to be the best peach-flavored tea I've had so far! It has a fruity taste that doesn't overpower the flavor of the tea leaves. When I first visited last year, they had a "Fresh Oat Milk Tea Series", but I'm sad to say that it's not on this location's menu anymore. _______________________________________________________ ---A M B I A N C E -- I'm diggin' the woodsy, warm, Asian-y aesthetic they got going on! Tea and merch are displayed on the walls, and pink is definitely their signature color, so expect to see pops of it here and there in the decor, cups, and to-go bags. This location has a decent amount of chairs and tables, but let me tell you, this place was hella busy back when it was the only Bay Area location. We learned the hard way that the parking lot gets packed. Sometimes you'll get stuck in the super small lot because someone isn't even in a spot -- they just have their car parked with the hazards on while they run in to pick up their drink. Other times, cars are waiting and signaling for a parking spot while other cars are on standby waiting for people to leave after grabbing their drinks. The gas station behind the shop clearly got tired of it too because they put up a bunch of signs saying they'll tow if you park there just to visit Molly Tea. I highly recommend parking down the street near the apartment sidewalks or across the street and taking a little stroll to the store instead. Honestly, it just showed me that no matter how tiny the lot was, people still made the effort to slide through for drank. Fair warning though -- definitely expect to wait and chill. _______________________________________________________ --- S E R V I C E --- I will say, the staff handles the busyness pretty well. Lines are usually at or out the door, and they're receiving online orders simultaneously. There's another boba shop in the Bay that has a similar layout and process as Molly Tea, but that other chain feels like workers on an assembly line with deadpan faces. I feel like the brightness and warmth of Molly Tea is emphasized even more because of the friendly staff and their willingness to help with your order even after it's received.
Molly Tea is a favorite amongst boba drinkers, and this location is no different. The parking lot is a tad small, and the orders come in and out even on weekday afternoons when one might expect a calmer time. Ordering is pretty straightforward on their self-service kiosks. On this particular visit, I had their White Champaca Oolong Milk Tea with less ice and 30% sugar. Somehow, they always get it just right in terms of sweetness. The best part is the "three stack straw" which really brings out the taste of the tea. Drinks were being made and served to order minute by minute, and the overall wait time was ~ 15 minutes. While the seating here is comfortable and can be relaxing, make sure to plan ahead, as the sun can be quite the nuisance at the right angles!
Came by to try after lunch on Mother's Day, probably around 4PM. The place was SUPER busy when we went, but the service was still really fast and organized, we got our drinks within 10 minutes. The interior is modern and really cute, and they even have a dog check-in photo wall which was so so cute ! We got the snowy Jasmine with boba. Drinks themselves were light, fragrant, and refreshing. Even at 100% sweetness, they actually weren't too sweet, I would even argue getting 125% to match other boba places 100% sweetness. The boba had a really good flavor and sweetness to it that balanced everything out perfectly. Overall a great spot to grab a drink. Next time I want to try their Pistachio Matcha Coconut water so I will be coming back!
Seems like I finally found a drink I like here! Fourth time's the charm, I guess. During my first visit, Halloween 2024, I tried the iced white champaca oolong milk tea, probably no sugar added. I didn't like the after taste, it was kind of weird. I can take bitter tea flavor but didn't care for this. I gave it another try a few months later and got the same drink. Same reaction. I went to the San Mateo location in Jan 2026 and tried the iced jasmine tea with matcha cheese top, no sugar added. It was better but I still wasn't impressed. They definitely have quality tea but I didn't get the hype around this brand. Fast forward to April 2026, a work friend needed sugar so I went along for the ride and to get a hot drink. I ordered the DanCong Oolong milk tea, hot with 30% sugar. SOO GOOD! I will go back for this. I do prefer oolong teas. I thought I would like white Champaca since it's oolong plus jasmine, but here we are. My friend's favorite is the iced DanCong and he got the snowy version with jasmine whipped cream and pecan topping, 70% sweet. Tasted great! Parking lot actually had spots but it was a Monday afternoon. Can't wait for the new Rivermark location to open in Santa Clara! I walked past there today and looks like they might open in another month or so.
Ah the famous Molly Tea! Quite a few locations have popped up; I hope they open one in the Tri-Valley soon. They close at 10:00pm everyday which feels so late to me LOL. Yay for late night boba! There is quite a lot of people working behind the counter, but it seems like a well-oiled system. The music, the staff, the lighting, the figurines all remind me of playing Animal Crossing for some reason LOL. I love the sleek wood accents inside, and there are 2 screens to order from. There's another larger screen that displays all order #s that are in progress or ready. Parking is very limited; I was lucky to snag a spot since I came around 8:00pm, but I don't know the area well enough to know where else I would've parked if it was full?? I heard people have parked in the plaza across the street. There is no WiFi (that I know of) and my phone was running on slow LTE, might be just me. Premium Jasmine Milk Tea ($7.99): Well. This tasted like proper jasmine milk tea, I don't know how else to describe it. I bow down. Still good even as the ice melted! The cup is sealed beneath the to-go lid, so the extra safety is excellent for the car and preventing spillage. Next time I'll order online for a faster wait time and try more drinks to pop into the fridge :)
Molly Tea offers a vast selection of milk teas, matchas, and similar drinks. I went to this branch on a Thursday evening, and it was quite busy. It took a bit of time to not only order at the kiosk, but to receive our drinks too. I ordered the Tongmu Lapsang Salted Cheese and thought it was pretty good! My only qualm with this place is the parking situation, as we had to park in the lot over.
Good golly miss molly. Your teas are amazing, girl! I've heard about Molly Tea from my friends in SoCal who rave about this Chinese spot to hit the States. I was surprised to find out it's based in Shenzhen and not in Taiwan, but their teas speak for themselves. They pride themselves on their jasmine tea offerings and there is a lot to love. The moment you walk in, you are just hit with its aromatic scents which can make it hard to decide on your order. I went with one of their oat milk options (shout out to my non-dairy friends), the White Champaca Oat Milk Tea, with reduced ice and sugar. I was in love with this drink upon first sip. The floral tastes of the tea was so strong and really stood out compared to other boba shops. Additionally, they use crystal boba which provides a lighter experience rather than normal starchy tapioca (not that I have any issue with that because they are still my obsession). Overall, a must have tea experience. It's one of the best in the area and definitely adds to the competition within Cupertino. Note: the pink bags are only available through online orders. I didn't need one myself but if you really want one, make sure to order in advance.

Molly Tea is a popular milk tea chain that was established in Shenzhen, China back in 2020. The Sunnyvale location is situated in a tiny strip mall at the corner of El Camino Real and S Fair Oaks Ave in Sunnyvale. I came here with my brother and our friend Darren M. on 08/28/2025 after having dinner nearby. Parking was an absolute pain. It took us a while before a spot open up. We walked in at around 8:15pm and it was BUSY! All the tables were occupied, and there was a line of people waiting to order. The interior was bright, clean, and beautifully decorated. The staff behind the counter were all busy doing their jobs. I spotted at least 20 pink takeout bags on the counter. Ordering was done via a kiosk. There were a lot of uniquely crafted drinks to choose from. I ended up getting a Jasmine Mango Smoothie. With tax, it was $7.55. Due to the volume of business they were doing, it took a while before my order was ready. The wait was well worth it. My drink was made with jasmine green tea, fresh mango, coconut milk, pomelo, and sago. It was simply the best [expletive] drink I have ever had at any milk tea shop. It was creamy and had the perfect sweetness level. The flavor and textural balance were just extraordinary. Darren was thoroughly impressed by his Iced Jasmine Milk Tea. "Wow" was the first word that came out of his mouth. "Damn it's good" followed. My brother ate so much during dinner that he skipped out on getting one. He totally missed out. When we left at around 9:20, the line was even longer than when we walked in. Crazy. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try if you haven't done so already. You can thank me later.
I have a newfound love for Molly Tea. As an azn, I can't handle anything too sweet and Molly Tea seems to know that so most of their collection is catered to my sweetness level. Mine is the champaca oolong. My cousin got the Camellia Zest. Both were great!! It's too bad there are no locations eastward, beyond the Bay Area or I'd be going pretty regularly. I guess its popularity is why it's always so packed when we go. The line moves fairly quick enough in spite of having 2 ordering kiosks. Staff work quick and have an organized way of keeping track of the orders. HOWEVER, it did take a little more than 10 minutes before my one drink was ready for pick up. We had to wait a while the last time we were there too. Maybe it's the way certain drinks are prepared? Or I think there was a big order before us Either way it's worth it. And I love the cute little special straw they provide to enjoy the tea. Think of those really skinny coffee straws that have just another (3rd) narrow tube. You can slowly enjoy the delicate flavors of the tea. Lastly, it seems Molly Tea is also expanding its merch collection. When I was there, I did not see those assorted magnets. You can collect them! They have cute designs specifically for your zodiac sign or Myers Briggs , or just famous cities. I kinda prefer magnets over pins. The magnet could be "pinned" onto whatever you want anyway.
I've had Molly Tea a couple times now and they're a solid and consistent option for floral teas. The drinks all have solid fragrant flavors. The parking lot for this location is quite small, so the most convenient option is to drop someone off to wait in line while the other person finds parking in the nearby neighborhood if the lot is full. Their menu consists of many tea options with the Jasmine Milk Tea being one of their most popular. I also really liked the Pistachio Jasmine Coco! All of their drinks sound pretty good, so I will be coming back to try out the rest of their drinks!
The quality of the tea is phenomenal. Particularly enjoy the premium jasmine and champaca teas...so fragrant and vibrant. The tea combo with matcha and salted cheese made the drink just simply delectable! Molly tea is busy but the line moves pretty quickly. the ordering and pick-up process is pretty efficient. Good ambience and great place to sit, chat and enjoy your drinks if you can snag a table/seats.

The best Molly Tea in the Bay Area. I know they are all Molly Tea, but having tried different locations, this one has consistently delivered perfect drinks each time. Of their drinks on the menu, white champaca, white champaca oolong, dancong, white champaca matcha are the top drinks I cycle through. Although they recommend 70%, I actually prefer 30% sweetness, less ice. Truly brings out the tea flavor. This location had a new drink Camellia during the LNY. However, I have not seen it on the menu since March. Hopefully they'll bring it back. They now have order online via their website (chowbus), and I recently learned that they have an app. This makes ordering drinks at this location easy since it is located in corner strip mall with minimal parking. read more
The tea is really good, for the size it's kinda $$$ overhype and over priced is what mindset you need to come in with. I get it Bay Area real estate and prices. However, for 16oz at around $8 that is a sell. But it's busy and people are coming in and out. The parking lot is not great. The tea is but you got to love tea. read more

Good drink choices. Wished they're more transparent in their promotions though. Parking is very limited as it's a corner lot being shared with other stores. My fav is the osmanthous choices they have. And I like that they sealed their cups so I can order lots more without worry about spillage read more

HOLY COW! They weren't joking when they called their tea premium. You can taste how good it is from the first sip. Both our drinks stood out for their floral tea taste. We decided to skip the jasmine so that we could try something novel. We got the matcha champaca salted cheese (less ice, 70% sugar) and the tongmu lapsang bubble tea (less ice, 50% sugar). Both were fresh, perfectly sweetened as per our preferences, and crazy good. The hazelnut cheese and the chewy boba in the tongmu lapsang bubble tea were a delightful addition. The premium tea does come at premium price, over $8 per regular sized drink. Ambiance is nice but their tea making can get pretty loud every now and then. Also no wifi! read more

First thing is first, the parking here is atrocious. Good luck everybody! There's only like 20-25 spots and there's Subway, a nail salon, and an interior design place only! Molly Tea took over Happy Lemon. The reason why I gave 3 stars is because of the service. I preordered on the app Molly Tea US and went to online order line but without saying a word she just pointed me to the other side. I went to other side and no one was there initially. Then another lady came to wipe down the drinks but didn't even acknowledge me! Customer service could be better. The drink we got in was Matcha Jasmine Salted Cheese 70% sweet and less ice. It was nice and cheesy and milky tasting. You can definitely taste the quality of the tea. I would try Cupertino location next time since I heard the parking and customer service there is way better! FYI, if you download their app the US version, you get coupons such as $1 off or $2 off +$13 order!! read more
I ordered the jasmine matcha with salted cheese, but I didn't receive the salted cheese. When I asked, I was told the matcha foam was the salted cheese, though it tasted identical to my friend's drink, which didn't include salted cheese at all. I couldn't taste any cheese flavor. On a positive note, the 100% sweetness level isn't overly sweet at all--it's actually the perfect amount. The space is beautiful, but parking is very challenging; I had to park about a 10-minute walk away. I also noticed that while they previously offered oat milk, I only saw dairy milk available this time. Despite these changes, the drink was still very tasty. read more

This is the most refreshing drink I have had. Immediately rehydrated and tastes phenomenal. The mix between the jasmine, coconut water and the pistachio w/cream when mixed gives a fruity and smooth flavor in your mouth. I loved it! There is ample seating inside so you can sit down and wait for your drink or catch up with friends, but the parking lot leaves a lot to be desired. Very small plaza. Lively ambiance, workers are cranking out drinks but the man who gave me my drink was very polite. read more

High Quality! From the cup, to the straws, to the tea, it is and feels like the highest possible quality! I was pretty impressed by the product. I wanted to try out Molly Tea, and as a first-timer, I went basic. I ordered the Premium Jasmine Tea. It was really good, and with the suggested added sweetness, it was perfect! It was also pretty good, ~$4 which is pretty great for a drink these days. I think the only thing that could bring this review down is the wait-time. It was a chilly day and so everyone was kind of cramped inside. Luckily we were able to find a small table to wait on, but it was packed inside, with most people just waiting on their drinks. We waited a minimum of what felt like 25 minutes. But I guess, you would rather wait for something of high quality than something not. On a side note, I was super impressed by the cup's lid design and straws. I have never seen a straw that appeared to be flat, and with three mini-straws attached. I am not sure if it was psychological, but I felt like the drink was more enjoyable and lasted longer because your sips were actual sips, and not like a gulp of tea (with traditional straws). Also to be noted that whoever engineered the lid of the hot drinks, needs a raise because there was some super cool engineering for straw placement LOL read more

The hype is real! Molly tea was great, you can tell they use very nice high quality ingredients. Good stuff will com back. The only con is that the space was kind of messy and dirty, but not a problem if you're doing to go! read more
Visited a few times now and have been very satisfied with all of their drinks. It's no wonder there is always a long line and a crowd each time I visited. It is super difficult to find parking as there are only a few parking spaces in the lot. If the weather permits, parking across the street town walk over is alright. You can also pre order your drinks on their Molly Tea app for faster pick up. Today I had the hot tongmu lapsang milk tea with no sugar. It was delicious. Even though without sugar it didn't taste bitter. Previously I tried their matcha drinks as well as Molly jasmine tea. They don't have regular brown sugar boba but use crystal boba instead. I would add it to my cold drinks. read more

I had Molly Tea when it first opened, and I tried their Snowy Jasmine and Snowy Gardenia. It was definitely different from all the boba places that I've tried because it was less sweet, less milky, and more floral. It was not my favorite because it was lacking that sweet milk tea taste that I am used to. I would recommend it if you do like your drinks on the less sweet and more floral side. The lines are always long here, and sometimes you will have to wait at least 20-30 minutes before you get your drink. The parking is even more horrendous because there are only a couple spots in front of the store and the lot is small. The inside of the store is really nice, but it can only accommodate couple groups, so it will be hard to get a seat there to wait for your order or hangout. Here are my reviews for some of their drinks: Snowy Jasmine: 6/10. This is a safe choice for first timers because any jasmine flavored drink is a classic. This drink is more on the floral side, not too sweet, and has a less milky consistency. I recommend this one with 100% sweetness and 50% ice. The cream that they put in the drink to make it "snowy" is okay - it's just regular whipped cream with a slight jasmine taste to it. Nothing special, but I do like the distinct floral aroma to the drink! Snowy Gardenia: 6/10. I have the same impression on this drink as I did for the Snowy Jasmine. The only difference is the gardenia, which has a more distinct floral and sweet aroma to it. Jasmine Hazelnut Coco Lava: 7/10. It's a very unique flavor that you definitely cannot get anywhere else other than Molly Tea. This reminds me of the chocolate milkita candies - exactly the same taste. The milk portion of the drink tastes like their normal jasmine milk tea and the hazelnut cream is what makes the drink creamy and good! Jasmine Apple Milk Tea: 5.5/10. I would recommend this only if you really like the taste of apple juice and want to try something different. I only liked this drink because it was on the sweeter side compared to their other drinks. White Champaca Oolong Milk Tea: 8/10. This is my favorite drink from Molly Tea! The floral aroma and sweetness of the drink is just perfect. I think it's very refreshing and the drink is definitely more on the sweeter side, which I like. This is my go to drink every time! read more

If you like jasmine tea then this is your go to place. It is a very strong taste. I like the Sunnyvale location because at least with parking it's easy to drive thru. The Cupertino parking lot is one way exit/entrance and you have to reverse to get out. Both are small locations. Easiest thing to do is just order online and pick up when it's ready. read more

I ordered the white Champaca milk tea with Jasmine whip cream and pecan and it has to be one of the silkiest, refreshing. floral milk teas I had ever tasted. What is Champaca? Never heard of it but let's get it! The aroma and flavor profile surpassed my expectations and it's definitely my new favorite. The Jasmine whip cream and pecans added a nice touch. read more
I do not understand the hype surrounding this place. It was extremely crowded the moment we entered to the moment we left. Although, the jasmine and white champaca exhibit a floral note, the matcha foam was prepared ahead and was packed separately upon request; thus, it lacked the freshness typically associated with matcha tea. I did not find anything remarkable and nothing stood out. And I prefer Heytea,'s blue spirulina and mango bloom over this place. This may be due to the fact that it is relatively a new location. The aroma upon entering is appealing due to the floral note of jasmine and other teas. The boba place is super cute, and I love the comfortable chairs. However, the parking lot is tight and small, so expect to wait if you go during rush hours. They really need a better parking situation. As for the drinks, I would give them 2.5 stars for uniqueness, but the flavor combinations did not blend well. I was able to try five drinks among my party, and not one stood out enough to make me want to return. Sorry--it's just not my favorite. Am I missing something, given all the five-star reviews? Who knows. All six people in my group felt the same and didn't find their drinks impressive enough to come back. The one thing I may give this place another chance was my leftover drink tasted better the next day. Maybe it needed more time to mingle the flavor? Who knows! Try it yourself and see :) read more
Finally got to try the viral Molly Tea! There are always lines, so I waited for things to cool down a bit, and now I totally understand why people are obsessed with this place. The pistachio jasmine coconut was amazing. It is such a unique combo with the pistachio and coconut blended into jasmine tea. It is hard to describe the flavor, but if you are a jasmine tea fan, you will love it from the very first sip. I am definitely coming back to try the other top three menu items. There was still a bit of a wait inside, and it seems like a lot of people order ahead. The parking lot is pretty tight, so be prepared to wait for a spot. If you go during off peak hours, you should be fine. read more

I learned from my first time to now drink my drink immediately :) flavor is still delicious and has subtle floral notes and a light coconut after taste. I'm a sucker for pistachio and when you combine it with the cream AND nuts, it's game over for me. I'm glad this time around I got to try a sample of the original black tea in their cute little cart that I believe is full of magic - I serendipitously ran into an old high school friend! Chris was as friendly as he was then and now, and was very knowledgeable about drink recommendations and sweetness palette. +1 for fall festivities, rekindling and delicious drinks! read more
Oh Molly Tea! You have the cutest pink cup with the cutest pink cooler bag that can turn anyone's bad day into a great day with just a sip of your drink. My fav is their jasmine oak milk tea. I usually prefer my milk tea with boba, but not at this place. I have tried adding their crystal boba and sago to my drink, but both were no bueno! Just stick with their drinks without adding any toppings and you will be fine. Their service can be slow due to long lines and large orders. I usually order my drinks online for pickup, but one time I waited for 50 min for my drink that I have placed online. The ambiance is pretty chill. You see many people sitting there with laptops. Their parking lot is really small and it's always full. We usually park across the street and walk over. Put in some steps before and after picking up our drinks. Win win! read more
I love molly tea for when I'm craving for some strong, floral tea! Their jasmine milk tea is my favorite! I just love how strong the jasmine is and how fragrant it is. I thought their mango sago was good too, but I think the hey tea ones are even better. Parking is definitely difficult when it is busy hours since their parking lot is so tiny. read more
