The banana pudding had actual pieces of banana bread/muffin in it and the strawberry used some freeze dried strawberries and syrup. They both were essentially milkshakes to me when mixed up so if you're looking for something heartier this would be it. I think it's innovative that they operate with just two workers and a self-serve kiosk. However, the line gets long because customers--myself included--don't always know what to order right away. It took me a while to go through the entire menu and figure out what they offered. I'd suggest putting a menu on the wall so people waiting in line can decide ahead of time. That way, when they reach the kiosk, the line moves faster. It's also a very small space, and it's a bit frustrating that they don't call out names when drinks are ready. Yes, you get a text, but in my case, I actually picked up my drink after noticing it sitting on the counter--then received the text more than five minutes later. I was excited to find this place on Yelp after searching for matcha spots near the restaurant my boyfriend and I had lunch. This place is located in a plaza with several other businesses so parking was easy. We went there on a Saturday at around 2pm and there was no line. I ordered via iPad and my drink was ready in less than 5 minutes. No seating inside as it's an order, grab, & go situation. Tip: There's outdoor seating in the plaza for anyone to sit at! I am a huge fan of their earl grey matcha - I don't know how they make their syrup but it has a lot of earl grey flavor that I haven't been able to recreate myself/find elsewhere. Their Osmanthus matcha is good too, with all of their drinks having a good amount of matcha/matcha flavor. FYI, if you tend to lessen the sugar of your drinks, for drinks that have syrup like earl grey and Osmanthus it will also lessen the syrup and the flavor since that's where the sweetness comes from. The store is small, tucked away underneath Koi Palace on the first floor. No seating in the store, and only one order kiosk but you can also order ahead online. There is outdoor seating with these round mesh-like tables and umbrellas that is shared with all the stores in the plaza, so you can usually grab a spot if you don't go during busy times.
