There's some general outside seating, but the the shop is too small to have indoor seating (I ended up waiting for my drink outside because it can hold about 2 people before it gets awkward). The service itself is great--ordering and receiving my drink happened quickly, and the drink I ordered came with an osmanthus syrup that I could definitely taste (there were bits of the osmanthus in the drink, which could be a plus or minus depending on personal preference). The matcha was fragrant, and I did enjoy my drink. I will say that it does err on the pricy side, at around $7-9 per drink. I liked my drink, but maybe not enough to justify the cost, especially considering there isn't any space to sit down and relax. The place is focused on matcha and I wanted to get something more tea focused and less milky; among all the choices, I picked earl grey with matcha latte. It's pricey. For $7.25, there's limited choices complementary. If you want it no ice, $2 extra. If you want cream top, extra. The minimum sugar level is 50% and I don't mind getting 0. When I got the drink, the layer of white sweet cream kind of material is at the bottom. Although it looks dreamy and artsy, the first sip was too sweet. I had to fully mix everything to make the tea drinkable. Also second sip, there's something artificial in the taste. 3.5 stars I've tried a lot of matcha spots in the Bay Area & this is definitely one of the better spots -- a lot of places i've tried have grainy matcha but I didn't experience that here I ordered the earl grey matcha with 50% sweetness -- I think next time, I might try their strawberry matcha because the earl grey and matcha flavors didn't feel super cohesive to me (I think this has to do more with their natural flavor profiles and is not the fault of Cere). I got an additional matcha shot in my matcha latte and it was like WOAH hello! So definitely try the regular matcha drink before you go right into the extra shot.
