Overall solid Teatop doesn't pop for me but it's hard to go wrong with the and the rest of my group loved it Menu is about 1/3 milk tea, 1/3 slush, and rest coffee matcha tea etc with lots of flavoring and topping options. They don't have oat milk but there is generally a slush or tea alternative to everything milk. Service is amazing. Super helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. My friend had a lot of questions and was delighted with the answers. Ambiance is great as well. Flowery aesthetic with green walls and dangling plants. Another update! TeaTop is now a sometimes spot for us and we'll only go when we want to treat ourselves just due to the cost of the drink. They are very transparent about their pricing but I'm unsure if they tack on the 4% credit card fee before or after they charge you. But aside from pricing of course, their drinks are generally a hit and service generally quick. Just beware it is located near companies that may do large orders. Last time I came by someone had just put in an order of 15 drinks. So other folks were definitely waiting longer than I did for their drinks as they just had finished putting together that order. But I think due to that, they were a bit flustered in getting the rest of the pending orders together so when they got to mine, they put ice in my "no ice" drink. No big deal. Inside is always quite cute and there are a bunch of tables if you do want to hang out and have your drinks inside or outside. It was my first time at TeaTop yesterday afternoon as we were in the area and wanted to give it a try. I ordered #20 which is an oolong milk tea. I asked for 50% sweetness, less ice and with boba as my topping. It was pretty good! It's hard to mess up milk tea to be honest. The boba was smaller than I was expecting but still pretty tasty. My first time here. Due to being a President's Day holiday maybe, the store was short staff. They ran out of boba when I arrived around 4:30pm. The counter lady seemed stressful. My son had a group of at least 12 friends with him. After 15-30 min, I see the staff went from 2 people to five. We did have to wait quite a bit for our drink. However, thankfully my son and his friends were just chatting and sitting down; they didn't mind the wait as they wanted to just hangout. Drink wise, I think 80% sweetness is perfect for the lychee green tea. I love that you can taste both tea and syrup, and the honey boba is just so soft and chewy! There are so many drink possibilities to choose from! Online ordering wise, I don't think it was the smoothest. I waited ~30 minutes for my online order before asking about it, and they said they never got it. I thought ~30 minutes was enough time to check on 4 drinks in a store that didn't have anybody in it at the time. After they spoke with their staff, they found out it went to another iPad and apologized. Swung by on a weekend evening to try out a new boba place since we were already in the Milpitas area and found TeaTop! Interior is adorable with lots of clean, Pokémon decor and each drink comes with your choice of a sticker! We got their Oolong Milk tea with boba at 50% sweet. The boba had a decent chew but the tea itself felt a bit watery and felt primarily sweet without a strong tea flavor coming through. The price was a bit steep (around $8.5) after adding boba and subbing for oat milk. Overall it felt a bit lackluster compared to the quality of tea at other places with a similar price point. We found this place on Google by accident and saw the high reviews and decided to stop by. I was actually looking for strawberry matcha and thought I saw a picture, but I was wrong. They had different kinds of matcha. My husband wanted a smoothie, but they also didn't have that. As soon as we're got our drinks, they gave the kids some popping boba in a little sample cup. Again, very very nice and EXCELLENT customer service. Now onto the drinks. I ordered the Passion Green Tea Medley which is packed with toppings. It was the perfect sweetness level for me at 100% because I like my drinks pretty sweet. My wife got the Peach Green Tea. My wife got hers at 50% sweetness and she thought it was perfect for her (she likes her drinks on the less sweet side). As for the kids, my son was super happy with his mango slushy and my daughter got Brown Sugar Milk and she said "this is waaaaaayyyy better than R&B). My wife also said it was very good. No issue here for the drinks. The shop was nice a bright with cool decorations. It was also very very clean. All in all, a dope shop to get boba with very friendly service. It was such an aesthetic and calming setting to sit and enjoy tea. I ordered the alpine green tea with feng guo which is one of their signature drinks. This used to be one of my go-tos. But the Milpitas branch seems to have grown greedy since COVID. Back in 2020, a milk tea used to be $4.63; now after multiple price jacks, it's at a jaw-dropping $7.05 (and with one topping, $8.15), making it the most expensive boba shop in a 10-mile radius. They try to rationalize it by posting written signs that plead "Material costs have risen!" but come on, those supply chain snafus wrapped up years ago, plus that's a 50+% rise over a period when inflation was less than 25%. At this point, other shops can match their quality for a more reasonable sum -- including the other two Tea Tops in San Jose and Newark. read more

Wow, I can't believe the price of boba drinks they've really gone up from what it was four years ago at the time I paid $4.75 for lemon green tea now it's $6.45 I glazed through the menu items and I chose #1 signature alpine green tea for a mere $5.45 apparently that seems to be the most popular drink the cashier highly recommend and I wasn't disappointed comes in large size only 100% regular ice and 30% sweetness just right yet so refreshing on a warm day. I thought this was pretty good! The egg pudding didn't feel stale or hard, it was very soft and easy to eat. The jasmine itself was nicely roasted and the sweetness was good combination with the egg pudding. I'm slowly losing my sweet tooth, so 80% was probably the max I'd be able to drink. I got the grapefruit green tea with crushed ice and added honey boba. The tea itself was tasty and the boba was perfectly chewy!
