Came here to get a cold drink and we ended up getting Mango slushy and lychee slushy with aloe and it was just okay. It wasn't quite a slushy. Ordered from a kiosk. Service was lackluster. Staff were not friendly. Not even a hello, can we help you. there was no one in line and it was our first time going here and we had a bit of a hard time deciding what to get. The decor was cute. Lots of Pokémon and flowers. The seats were low. Felt like I was going to fall off upon sitting.
Another update! TeaTop is now a sometimes spot for us and we'll only go when we want to treat ourselves just due to the cost of the drink. They are very transparent about their pricing but I'm unsure if they tack on the 4% credit card fee before or after they charge you. But aside from pricing of course, their drinks are generally a hit and service generally quick. Just beware it is located near companies that may do large orders. Last time I came by someone had just put in an order of 15 drinks. So other folks were definitely waiting longer than I did for their drinks as they just had finished putting together that order. But I think due to that, they were a bit flustered in getting the rest of the pending orders together so when they got to mine, they put ice in my "no ice" drink. No big deal. Inside is always quite cute and there are a bunch of tables if you do want to hang out and have your drinks inside or outside. There is limited marked parking but you can always park further and walk in. Again, we'll still come back, but it'll be more when we want a treat.

Overall: 4.75/5 Spacious, love the lunar new year decor (came here in February). Nice employees. If you're not sure what drink to get, you can sample. Boba is well cooked, soft and chewy. Only thing is that the drinks are sweet, so I recommend 50% sweet or lower. If you're looking for somewhere casual or a standard milk tea spot, this is a good place to go. Drinks: . Solid tea shop that is set up to take cute photos! The tea itself is pretty solid, but the menu is a bit oddly organized. I got just the (hot) alpine tea without milk or sugar or boba... cuz it was a cold day and i just needed something to warm me up. The tea didn't come out piping hot and I was actually able to drink it immediately. I kinda wish it was a little bit hotter. I sat down with my friend at one of the tables on the side, which has these decorative walls to allow you to take cute photos of your boba or other stuff. Overall a solid spot with good tea and photo ops!

It was my first time at TeaTop yesterday afternoon as we were in the area and wanted to give it a try. I ordered #20 which is an oolong milk tea. I asked for 50% sweetness, less ice and with boba as my topping. It was pretty good! It's hard to mess up milk tea to be honest. The boba was smaller than I was expecting but still pretty tasty. The workers were very sweet and the inside of the boba shop was really modern! It is a little bit on the pricey side so I'd consider this as more of a treat once in awhile!
Tuesday promo B2F1 but their price is $0.50 more expensive than the outlet at Newark. I think I will stick with Newark branch. we had matcha latte, red bean slushy and taro milk tea with sago, all were good, but the price is higher, not sure what's making the price different?
My first time here. Due to being a President's Day holiday maybe, the store was short staff. They ran out of boba when I arrived around 4:30pm. The counter lady seemed stressful. My son had a group of at least 12 friends with him. After 15-30 min, I see the staff went from 2 people to five. We did have to wait quite a bit for our drink. However, thankfully my son and his friends were just chatting and sitting down; they didn't mind the wait as they wanted to just hangout. The staff did apologize to us for the wait and offer a free drink to me. That was a nice gesture. Overall, a cute store with inside and outside seating. We would come back.
Pretty great boba spot and we loved their Feng Guo topping. I got their Sun Moon Lake tea and it was super caramelly and creamy. I definitely want to try some of their other popular teas.

Earl gray 3Q @ 30% sweet - 5/5 Just right on the sugar level, which with all the toppings in the chewy bonanza would've been too much if you added more in the tea as well. The milky earl gray tea is actually quite at the forefront in flavor, so it tasted pretty good in my department. Boba and chewables were all just right and fresh so solid spot to grab a proper tea.

Interior is adorable with lots of clean, Pokémon decor and each drink comes with your choice of a sticker! We got their Oolong Milk tea with boba at 50% sweet. The boba had a decent chew but the tea itself felt a bit watery and felt primarily sweet without a strong tea flavor coming through. The price was a bit steep (around $8.5) after adding boba and subbing for oat milk. Overall it felt a bit lackluster compared to the quality of tea at other places with a similar price point. Service was standard - there wasn't anyone else around when we came around 7pm and it was relatively quiet. Nothing special to note there.

Stopped by and ordered an original milk tea at 50% sweetness with boba, which is typically my go-to order and the drink I use as a litmus test whenever I'm trying a new boba spot. Perhaps 50% sweetness at Tea Top is closer to 25% at other places like Gong Cha, Feng Cha, CHICHA San Chen, or Molly Tea, because my drink tasted surprisingly diluted. It wasn't just lacking sweetness--the tea flavor itself didn't come through very strongly either, which left the overall drink tasting a bit watered down. The boba was also fairly bland and didn't add much flavor to the drink. Unfortunately, I wasn't particularly excited to finish this one, so my first experience was a bit of a miss. That said, I've seen plenty of positive reviews and they have a pretty extensive menu, so I'm willing to give them another shot. Next time I'm in the area, I'll probably try one of their top drinks and go for higher sweetness percentage to see if I have better luck! read more
Our friends had a party to celebrate their Pearl Anniversary and had some drinks for their guests. Thai Tea with boba - a good standard version. The boba was soft yet chewy. Jasmine Milk Tea with boba - creamy and florally. We enjoyed both drinks. read more

I have purchased from this location many times, but I'm honestly disappointed with the ordering service. The staff has been careless with my orders Since I usually don't come in myself, my husband picks up the order and shows my text message with clear instructions. However, almost every time something is still made incorrectly I don't understand why mistakes keep happening when everything is written clearly. I really like Tea Top's milk tea. I recently found out they switched to a new matcha, it's really good and smooth, though the old one was already great too. I got a matcha latte with egg cream on top and loved it. It kinda tastes like creme brulee:)). read more

Stumbled upon this refreshing tea place after leaving Shabuya and had the best experience. I absolutely loved the way this place was decorated. It was such an aesthetic and calming setting to sit and enjoy tea. I ordered the alpine green tea with feng guo which is one of their signature drinks. I have never had feng guo and the worker was so kind enough to let me try it before adding it to my drink. The drink was super refreshing and overall had the right amount of sweetness to it. I've never had a tea taste like this before and I'm really excited to try it with milk added into it next time. Overall, I would definitely come back here again! The customer service was awesome and the tea was very good. It was also priced fairly at about $6. This is such a great spot to just chill, study, or hang out at. read more

We found this place on Google by accident and saw the high reviews and decided to stop by. I was actually looking for strawberry matcha and thought I saw a picture, but I was wrong. They had different kinds of matcha. My husband wanted a smoothie, but they also didn't have that. We picked 2 drinks that we normally wouldn't order and at first I thought I was going to be disappointed because it's not what I wanted, but the peach green tea was one of the best I've ever had. The tea tasted fresh and had great flavor. The peach part was perfectly sweet and I liked the fruit pieces inside. It was a warm day, so this was a nice treat. My husband said his drink wasn't sweet enough for a slushy, but when I tried it, it was very good. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area! And I'll try something different. The inside is cute and nicely decorated, and the workers there were kind and welcoming. I'm actually surprised it wasn't busy for a Sunday afternoon. read more

Clean establishment. I loved that they posted their menus on the outside window. This way I didn't feel rushed and took as long as I needed before deciding on a drink I wanted to try. The ambiance was sooo darling; plants, decor, flower pots on each table and so well lit with the beautiful natural light coming in through the windows. It was a very welcoming boba shop. The menus offered plenty of different drinks with good descriptions of each. The staff was really friendly and answered all my questions. Drinks came out quick, they were solid. I've gone to the Cupertino location a bunch of times throughout the years but it was my first time visiting this location. I got my usual which is the milk foam wintermelon drink with grass jelly. I usually get 100% sweetness and it's pretty sweet but I personally enjoy it. It's sweet and creamy, and the grass jelly adds a fresh touch. Finished up a hot pot meal across the way, stopped in for my boba fix. I am on this craze with wintermelon, I find this drink really freshing! I've tried their wintermelon alpine green tea. It had a bitter after taste, I didn't expect that at all! Usually, this drink is slightly sweet, not bitter tasting. Maybe it's the green tea making it bitter. Either way, I wasn't a fan. Wow, I can't believe the price of boba drinks they've really gone up from what it was four years ago at the time I paid $4.75 for lemon green tea now it's $6.45 I glazed through the menu items and I chose #1 signature alpine green tea for a mere $5.45 apparently that seems to be the most popular drink the cashier highly recommend and I wasn't disappointed comes in large size only 100% regular ice and 30% sweetness just right yet so refreshing on a warm day. Customer service fast and efficient no complaints and they do have outdoor seating interior space quite roomy and decorative. Probably come back for tea reasonably price. I've upgrade from three stars to four stars ample parking next door to Royal Thaali and right across the street from McDonald's. read more

I came here for the first time after work. I was craving a cold, sweet and fruity beverage. Such a chill and cute atmosphere. I love the decor as well! Not sure how to spell her name (GirlyMae? -- I apologize if that is incorrect) was very sweet and helpful! I asked for a recommendation in something fruity and what is one of their most popular. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised that this was so close to Shabuya. I came here yesterday with my fiancé since we were picking up boba for our friends who were getting other things. The shop itself was decorated so well and it felt super clean! Everything was so organized, and I loved the decor + ambiance of the place. Being at a new boba shop, I usually ask how sweet the sweet is, but I totally forgot after my food coma. I ended up ordering 5 drinks and our total came out to be $33. I ordered the following: -2 Jasmine Green Milk Tea +1 with egg pudding +1 with tapioca -1 Oolong Milk Tea +Tapioca -1 Regular Milk Tea +Tapioca -1 Lychee Green Tea +1 Tapioca Most of these were 100% sweet, minus the Jasmine green milk tea + lychee green tea. Both of those were 80% sweet and I thought it was at a good sweetness. I thought maybe I could have gone down a bit more. I can only speak for the Jasmine milk green tea + egg pudding. I thought this was pretty good! The egg pudding didn't feel stale or hard, it was very soft and easy to eat. The jasmine itself was nicely roasted and the sweetness was good combination with the egg pudding. I'm slowly losing my sweet tooth, so 80% was probably the max I'd be able to drink. Otherwise, I think I'll probably get 50% next time. Overall, super cute boba shop and if I'm ever in the area again, I'd totally come back to try more drinks. read more
I had a great experience at this milk tea shop! Despite having low expectations for customer service at boba shops in general, I was pleasantly surprised by the staff's warm and friendly demeanor! Overall, they have been really consistent each time I've visited! First of, their drinks are HUGE, they come in a big & tall cup, and I believe it's only one size too! Additionally, those who work nearby can receive a discount by showing their badge. Although my favorite drink, the Orange Green Tea, has been discontinued for over a year now, I've found a new favorite in the Alpine Green Tea with Crema. It's creamy and rich but requires a good amount of shaking to thoroughly mix. The tea itself is a nice balance of strong tea and sweetness. They also have super cute events & promos, I suggest following their Instagram account to stay updated. During Anime Week, for instance, customers could choose from a selection of cute stickers featuring characters from that day's featured anime after ordering. Do you still do happy hour from Mon - Fri at 3 - 6pm?
Currently as of July 2022, we do not have happy hour. We are planning to bring back some double stamp hours and the buy 2 get 1 during the winter months!
Do they sell tea without any sugar or milk? Just tea of your choosing?
I don't see why not. They have non milk drinks. And you can ask for any % of sugar and ice.
Is this a self-serve boba place?
Self-serve as in controlling how many toppings you get? If so, no--you order at the counter :) But you can still customize your drink in regards to ice level, sweetness level, what type of toppings you want, etc.
Can I bring my own reusable cup?
Yes you can. Just brought my own in. I did not see them use any plastic waste during the drink making process.
How many calories are in the milk foam winter melon drink?
Sorry I have no idea lol I'm sure when you go in you can ask the associate. I don't count my calorie intake, just watch my sugar in take
